Melinda was hot and simply needed to run around naked more often than she did. Danny needed to speak much less or not at all and things would've been great.

Yeah, I thought Austen was a pretty boring season. More boring than France. I don't know why anyone would want to be like Melinda. I did notice that the girls this season seem to actually want to have sex on tv. I thought that was odd. They obviously just want to be apart of the wildest and most popular Real World - which is not going to happen.

I hate to go here but god damn it, it's not Auston or Austen, it's AUSTIN. So what was the "most popular" Real World? Vegas seemed to set the standard for debauchery. IF they want real sexual drama they should have a show in Baltimore.

I liked Hawaii. And the one with Flora the crazy Russian chick. I was only a small child then, but I loved Flora. Vegas is probably the one most people like though.

First, THANK YOU. The Austin thing was driving me crazy too. I say they go to DC so I can show up at the clubs and bars they go to to point and laugh.

Personally I think the older seasons were better. Though I get some giggles out of watching a bunch of douchebags get drunk and fight about the most idiotic things, I liked when they actually talked about serious things. And had normalish jobs. Now its just about getting trashed and fucking around. No harm in that, but it breeds idiocy, and there is enough of that in the REAL real world.

Oh yeah! I totally slept on Hawaii. That was a good one; lots of cool characters. Tek was a funny dude.

I don't think they'd ever go to DC. I think there's some sort of security issue with extensively filming in DC for national television. Even in movies set in DC, they place alot the characters in VA, MD or NY and pretend like it's still the district.

Yeah I know, I remember one year people were saying they were filming in Adam's Morgan, of course it was a rumor. But I remember reading something about how they couldn't. I just think it would be funny.

I don't know about comparing it to Austin. But this cast does suck. Especially that loser Tyrie. Plus, everything he says should be accompanied by subtitles.

Why do y'all suppose that they have never done a "Real World Atlanta"? There is more debauchery there then anywhere!! (I used to be a part of it, I am proud to say!)

Well no one has been arrested yet. It's not a real world lately till someone spends a night in jail dibbs on Leroy Jenkins making a come back.

No season tops San Diego - you had Pedro and real drama. You had Puck and peanut buttergate. You had Jo and her domestic dispute. And all the while you had Judd making amusing comments in his confessionals. He was one of the very FEW Real Worlders to be funny based on wit and not stupidity.

We keep waiting for a Real World Detroit.

There was a rumor going around last year that MTV bought a penthouse loft in the suburb I grew up in just outside of Detroit. Everyone was pissed that they weren't going to have it really in Detroit. I've just been trying to figure out what the heck they could do with 5 or 6 white kids in Detroit. That makes me giggle.

Paris went to Italy.

Two casts vacationed in the U.S.:
San Francisco in Hawaii.
Chicago in New England. (According to Wikipedia, they were supposed to go to Austria but couldn't because of the security rules in place after 9/11.)
