Not sure how this will go, it may be fun...Where do reality show contestants wind up? I'm not talking about what they are actually up too in real life as we speak. But rather what they should be doing...be creative!
To get the ball rolling...what does the future hold for Ace Young, Kellie Pickler, and Bucky? What about Tarek and Charmaine?...y'all get the picture

Well, the Real World members tend to get on a bar circuit...make good scratch too! $5000 an appearance...there's even a booking agency that specializes in the reality star/bar event thang.
As for Ace...he has a cameo on Passions in seven or eight months. After that--obscurity.
Pickler: Back home taking care of her son/little brother. Ya'll didn't think she was his sister, didja? Shades of Chinatown!
Bucky's playing in a Molly Hatchet tribute band by year end.

lol...I think Ace will be a huge hit on the Bat Mitzvah circuit.

Charmaine? She totally took the job offer from the Hair Cuttery and is now the manager of her very own salon in beautiful McCracken county, Kentucky.
And Tarek? In order to keep his Mensa membership, he's now the night janitor for the main office.
Anyone know what happened to Santino or Danny and Melinda?

mountain_girl, are you talking about Santino Rice? He has to be the one and only right? His blog is at www.santinorice.com. I can't wait for a new Project Runway. I'm positively hooked! And as soon as I get some bank I'm going to buy that Kara Janx wrap dress. I'll wear that thing 'til I'm 90 or until it falls apart.
Ok, I'm not quite staying true to the premise of this thread, but this is just too good not to share. One of my favorite TV shows of all time was VH1's short-lived reality show Bands on the Run. To me, it was pretty much perfect televsion. It was funny, it was sad. There was competition but also plenty of time for the band members to goof off. God, it was great.
Anyway, the band that won, Flickerstick, is still a band and I actually saw them two weeks ago. I know, I know. I'm a loser. I fully acknowledge this fact. But, for all those who remember the band, I've got some updates. They kicked Dom (the drummer) out of the band a coupe years ago. Cory (the dark-haired, not El-Dangerouso guitarist) left the band (amicably, they say) last year because his wife had a kid and he didn't want to be on the road so much. Rex (El Dangerouso) dated Rayshelle (the girl with the green hair from Harlow) for a while but they broke up and now he has a new gf. The only original members that are still left are Brandin (the lead singer), Fletcher (bass player) and Rex.
Look, I'll be honest, I just went to the show for curiousity's sake but, g-d if they weren't pretty freakin' good. I suppose it all depends on what kind of music you like, but for people who like U2ish melodic rock/pop music...it's worth checking out. They have a couple albums available through iTunes, for those interested.
All right, I've geeked out enough for now. Sorry about hijacking the thread.

I think Chris is crying right now. Not because he was eliminated, but because he's probably listening to Creed.

Perhaps he is crying because the non-Scott Stapp members of Creed did not ask him to be the lead singer for a new version of Creed? I mean, I know Fuel asked him, but it's Creed! Come on! [/snerk]

I think that Jade could do well installing mirrored ceilings in people's homes.

Yeah, it was a pretty trippy little show. Lots of sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll. Let me know what you think of Flickerstick! I'm totally curious to know if I am am diluded for liking them or not. I feel like I might be, but I'm not quite sure.

I thought I was the only one who loved "Bands on the Run". Don't be embarrassed about liking Flickerstick. They are a great band. I've seen them live two or three times. I really thought they were poised to hit it big but it never happened. Mulv, I totally agree that "Bands" was one of the best reality shows. I loved how hard Soulcracker tried to win by playing by the rules while Flickerstick just got drunk and slept late, and always won by blowing everyones' doors off at the live show. I can't believe VH1 never tried another season.
Hey Jason R! Glad to see there are other Flickerstick fans out there! When and where did you see them? They are pretty darn good live.
I read somewhere that VH1 decided not to make another season because it was so expensive to produce and the ratings weren't quite good enough to justify the expense.
I actually just got a bootleg DVD of the entire series. The sound quality is poor but it's still nice to have the entire season. I hope VH1 sees fit to release a proper DVD one of these days. Can you imagine all the debauchery they could show on the extras disc?

I know this is an old thread but I just had a thought... wouldn't it be funny if, after the RW/RR Challenges, Theo actually DOES go work at Starbucks where he attempts to out-latte his coworkers and fails miserably?

Saw them all 3 times in NYC. Twice at Irving Plaza and once at the Bowery Ballroom. All the shows were amazing. I think the shows I saw must have been in '02 and '03. It's been quite a while.

Back on subject...
Danny:Trying to get into the field of stupid hat modeling.
Melinda: cheating with Wes

I think Danny and Melinda got back together and had like twenty little kids mostly like Danny wearing little hats. Danny finally forgave her for wanting Prince Harry and let her sleep with his look alike Wes. Danny slept with Joey and they all lived happily ever after.
