Poor, sad, little t-bag. So left out he had to start his own "boys only" club. So tired is he of the woman keeping him down; putting him in his place.

T-bag, how is life in the 5th grade? :tonguewag:

P.S. This thead totally had me cracking up. I think I might have a little crush on you.

okay, this is a guy thing I don't understand...
My 2cd son,
16y/o 5'11" 1
50 pounds........ Normal I would assume.
He wants new jeans for his birthday because most of his were 32 or 34 inch waist, he has recently shot up and his size has shrunk.....
so I buy him
Levi's 29-32
low riders,
boot cut.......
And he texted me by second hour from school asking for new pants.... it seems besides kids making fun of his jeans.... saying he was EMO (wht is that exactly)
he said they felt so wierd....
LIKE HE HAD A TESTICLE IN EACH POCKET!!
I don't even know what he did sith the third part of that equation.........
What are the best kind of jeans for you guys........ making sure you don't look like Uncle Elmer in his suspenders?

Low rise is where you went wrong. "Emo" is short for "Emotional," which is sort of a mix between goth and punk these days. It started as a genre of music, but now it's become a lifestyle. Generally they wear either out-and-out girls' pants, or just really tight guys' pants. Either way, it's horrible.

Just get him regular jeans or loose-fit or something. The tight crotch may be sexy on Phil, but if you wear those to school, you're dead meat.

He should've gone shopping with you to buy his own clothes. By 16, you can't trust your mom to buy your clothes for you. Sorry mom, you don't have teenage boy fashion sense. If he did, he would've avoided the Emo scandal.

Definition of Emo on Urban Dictionary. (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=emo)

Best definition: A group of white, mostly middle-class well-off kids who find imperfections in their life and create a ridiculous, depressing melodrama around each one. They often take anti-depressants, even though the majority don't need them. They need to wake up and deal with life like everyone else instead of wallowing in their imaginary quagmire of torment.

Tits, Schmits. There are far more interesting parts of the female body... but I applaud the idea behind this thread. It made me laugh.

And btw, pearlblackdragon, while that girl was indeed pretty, her boobs were most likely disgusting out of the holsters, her bottoms were way too big for a "sexy" picture, and her legs look hairy.

ok I'm not a dude, but I have a dude question - so I beseech the oracle of manhood:

I have to buy a new laptop...I want the cheapest reliable basic mostly-just-for-internet-crap and office-programs and maybe-iTunes-someday thing out there.

My current laptop has power issues. The battery dies in about 3 minutes flat if it's not plugged in, and the pins inside the laptop don't line up with the power cord pins anymore so it's like a bendy pretzel equation to get them to hook up and power the computer. So my next laptop can't do that.

Brand suggestions? Store suggestions?

the chocolate fashion show?
All the clothes are made out of chocolate! We tried to get t-bag to watch it the first time it was on, I even tried to entice him with the fact that there were beautiful models strutting down the runway wearing nothing but chocolate... under hot light that are sure to cause the chocolate to melt. But he decided to study instead. Wuss.

mold of a head, this should be manly-ish: i.m an archaeology student and i.m taking some classes on human skeletal analysis, so we get skulls and rebuild faces on them.

not real skulls for homework, but real ones in class. we also get to sit in on autopsies and play with body parts (but not from the autopsy, just old bones and stuff)

Are you going into Forensic Anthropology? I majored in Anthro in college and we had a class where we did some reconstruction on skulls. One of my professors was that dude they would show on tv all the time making models of what dead heads would look like. I was always bugging him about how he know how a head wore it's hair or eyebrows or other stuff you would never know from a skull.

Very cool! Sounds fascinating. I've always been interested/fascinated in old (really old) civilizations/people and aboriginal peoples. Especailly their myths.

I just got back from watching a race... maybe you heard of it? The Daytona 500? Well the first half was apparently boring but I wouldn't know because I was bashing bumps and shoulder checking trees on the slopes of Utah resort. Made it to a friends house to catch the last 90 laps. Drank a few beers, four or five Jamison's and ginger, ate 4 tacos, cursed profusely and ultimately celebrated my driver finishing in the top ten. Now I'm gonna muck around here for a while and then go watch the Amazing Race. Oh yeah, maybe I'll go take a shower or maybe I won't.

The other one is a little spanish guy who always runs to open the door for me and greets me all excited. OOOH that reminds me of the "lady" who works the drive thru at Chick-Fil-A. She is clearly pre-op but I won't be surprised if he is going to op for um.. op.

She (I feel it's polite to call them by the gender they choose) is a big female of color (think Magic Johnson build) with long pretty extensions, long eyelashes and the best lipstick I have ever seen. She is really friendly too every time I go through that drive thru she tells me how pretty I look - it's a total ego boost for me. She's always complementing my hair and scarves and things and I beg her to tell me where she gets her lipstick but she just won't tell. She said if she gives that info away there won't be any left for her.

I would love to make her my tranny best friend. But I am not sure how to do that.

I'm doing my best to bring this back to manliness but the derailment is almost too much to overcome. Anyhow, I went running with the dogs this morning, shoveled snow off the driveway and just finished off a meatball sub. In a little while I'm going to go replace two bathroom light fixtures, install three new sinks and replace a toilet. It's a day off and I got to finish these home projects.

I read a Rolling Stone article about the movie, and apparently at the premier in France, two guys who were late, in true Parkour style, scampered down the middle of a spiral staircase to get downstairs, and raced to the theater doors right as they were closing.

It looks dangerous. I've seen some skater videos and the kids crash and have bones sticking out and contusions (sp?). Nasty stuff. I know - believe me, I completely admire the effort. Home repair, stock cars, bodily functions and beer. Doesn't get more dude-esque than that.

The only athletic connection I had this weekend was playing and coaching soccer with the kids, and watching the Tour of California bike race finish the first leg in my town yesterday. Not exactly the manliest of sports - but sports nonetheless.

We did pick a spot to watch the race directly in front of a bar - and that bar has some of my money. So the effort was given. Beer was consumed.

I couldn't agree with you more zoobabe! You can get a pretty decent emergency kit at Walmart for 30-40 bucks (jumper cables, emergency blankets, pop up cones and reflectors, etc), and EVERYBODY should have one in EVERY car you own.

I went to the post office one day and there was this little old lady standing outside next to her car with the hood propped open. A man was standing there doing nothing. It turns out she had been standing there for AN HOUR (in South Carolina, in June) waiting for somebody with jumper cables. The man stopped and wanted desperately to help, to the point where he'd been standing with her for over 30 minutes, but he didn't have cables. Not a single person visiting the post office over the course of an hour had a pair of cables (or were so heartless they wouldn't lend them). I was so relieved to be able to help the poor woman.

My only hope is that this thread can outlast the Girlie thread. I'm already ashamed that they beat us to the gender-centric thread. It was Adam and then Eve, not the other way around.

yes, but eve has the DRAMA. adam's always played by a boring white guy.

In Arizona I have noticed dudes with SUV's.... have attached great big (12 inches long,8 inches wide) Brass balls... not just balls but the whole Scrotal sac.... hanging down from where the hitch goes..... wrinkled up sac with balls in it.... eeewwww

Major jealousy working! I thought about going the first weekend of the tournament, but I turn 40 that weekend and my wife would have had my ass.

The idea of planting myself in sports book for four solid days of March Madness - that'd have been nice. Maybe next year, though I heard it's near impossible to get around in Vegas that weekend.

THANKS Quidam! I was totally proud of myself! I had to jump my car ALL the time in HS - it didn't like cold, or rain, or the heat. Basically weather in any form. But I was ALWAYS scared, every single time!

I was only upset about my nail (the left thumb, to be exact) because I had JUST treated myself and gotten them done for the first time in MONTHS! Grad school is expensive, and I hardly ever treat myself to anything anymore. So I FINALLY do, and I get a flat tire. Oh well, I get to brag about it now, so no harm done! ;)

She is beautiful isn't she. Hope fame doesn't do to her what it does to so many.

Antics in Vegas were suitable to mention in this thread. I was there for a bachelor party and to gamble on March Madness hoops. Anyhow, best night was Friday... the bachelor was forced to carry around "Monique - the unique sheep" all night and we all dressed stylish, including the ever so subtle dick-in-the-box accessory. I may be able to provide some pics after I blur the faces of those wishing to remain anonymous. Stay tuned.

I love how Scoty is so willing to post pics of his drunken escapades.

Wasn't sure where to post this...soo....

Alright, I was waiting in line at the supermarket and was browsing the GQ magazine. Now I love Jessica Alba (She was on the cover), but this photo within looks kinda stupid. IMO. What does the photographer say? "Yeah, drink some of that water...good...now let it dribble out of your mouth....sexxxy!"
