My logic would be that it prevents stronger players from getting clues to the location of the immunity idol. It's wiser to send someone like Sylvia or Yau-Man because they're more likely to be voted out and then even if they had the idol, it would be forced.

And guess what? It worked the week before when Sylvia got voted off so why not assume things would work out for them again?

Now as for the comfort over the immunity... Just dumb. Dumb dumb dumb.

Ok, so they don't want to give up comfort in lieu of immunity. Not sure I would have done the same thing as they're now at even numbers, but I accept it. I loves me some food and comfy surroundings.

Once they decide to vote someone out, WHY would it be your strongest chic? They basically said she was like having an extra guy. Now they're at even numbers, can't sit anyone out, and have Lisi and Cassandra in every challenge. Dumb, dumb, dumbasses.

i didn't like the twist at all. it was unfair to moto. seems like they were going to be penalized whether they won or lost. if the producers didn't want it to be so one sided then they shouldn't have given one tribe all the luxuries.

I can respect Rocky's frustration over not winning and his obvious desire to win, but the way he goes about it makes him look like such a fucking asshole. Who is he to throw rocks around camp (even though it got me a shitload of points in FS) and accuse everyone else of sucking at the challenges?! He's such an arrogant little bastard.

At first, I was all, "Oh, shit, Anthony's a pussy," and I still think that, but he's a smart pussy. Now that he's letting Rocky come out as an obnoxious son of a bitch, he definitely looks like the victim, which in this case is a good thing.

My favorite part was Jeff yelling, "Think!" to Mookie during the challenge. Even tapped his head, to drive the insult home.

Now, that all being said, my point total for this episode in Fantasy Survivor is... are you ready for it?...

Dude, not even. Spoilers ruin all the fun. It was so obvious. I suspected it during the previews for last week, because a) she hadn't even been in the show to this point, so she's clearly not mixing well and b) they showed her giving back-massages, which is such an obvious move, and always turns sour for the masseuse. So she was who I thought would go, because I figured no team could suck as much as Ulong, so Ravu was due for a victory. Little did I know how much they suck. But then the previews started airing all week, saying, "And winning immunity could get you voted out?" So then I figured they wouldn't play that mean of a trick of Ravu, so clearly Moto would win and Liliana was the obvious choice to leave. For some reason they seem to actually like Lisi, which I find baffling.

And Yau Man going to Exile? Obvious. After they chose Sylvia last week, they were bound to choose Yau this time around. They want to weaken the weakest members.

What I'm trying to say is this: I kick ass, and Scoty sucks. But I do suspect Schoonie, since he's a self-proclaimed spoiler fanatic.

(Okay, so I did look at one spoiler. I gave in. But it said Rita was gone. So now my potential source has been disproven and the temptation is gone. I no longer trust spoilers, and I'd rather go by my own logic.)

T-bag, that's some serious deductive reasoning. I don't believe a damn word of it. I don't think Moto sent him out there to weaken the weak, instead, they know it's better to keep him around BECAUSE he's weak. So, send him to exile where he gets more solid clues, he comes back and hopefully finds the immunity idol, then Ravu is forced to boot somebody STONG. Get it? Did they actually use this logic? Doubtful, considering the choice to lose a second tribe member in the course of two days.

Well, yeah, after last night's episode, they're clearly not that smart. But before that, I thought sending Sylvia was a brilliant idea. In these team challenges, you're only as strong as your weakest member, and with the luxury of sitting people like Gary out of the challenges, Moto had the game in their hands. So clearly the smartest thing to do would be to figure out who's the weakest and then send them to Exile so they can't perform in the following challenge. Sylvia was a no-brainer for that strategy, but Yau Man? Yeah, he's physically weak, but the man is obviously brilliant. Do not give him a chance to get that idol.

This makes the future episodes much harder to predict with any accuracy. I was doing alright with just a straight-up game, but now that they threw this twist in and revealed that not only does Ravu not think logically, but neither does Moto, it's going to be absolutely impossible to foresee what moves anyone makes. I believe Rob Cesternino said something like, "If you're not playing the game and using logic, I can't predict your next move, and it's impossible for me to control you." Unlike this week, I have no idea what I'm going to choose for next week. I feel like Anthony's still on the chopping block, but Earl said he's trying to protect him. And Earl seems to have a lot of power in this game, without anyone actually recognizing it and seeing him as a threat. He's in an awesome position, so whoever's with Earl should do pretty well. I just don't know!

For real. I have a strict 'no spoiler' policy, especially because I'm supposed to be recapping the damn thing, and Survivor is no fun if you know what's gonna happen. Ever watch the seasons on DVD? Nowhere near as interesting. Why would I cheat at a game that's supposed to be fun? I just decided that Moto was going to tribal and based all my picks around that, with Liliana getting the boot because of the previews from last week because they wouldn't have much reason to vote someone out, so any little thing would do. Turns out I was right! It worked out in my favor.

What I'm trying to say is this: I kick ass, and Scoty sucks. But I do suspect Schoonie, since he's a self-proclaimed spoiler fanatic.

I did say that I might be tempted when Tink was getting me to sign up, not that I would actually do it. Which I haven't! As a human, how could I not admit my desire for temptation?

Who said these shows have to be fair? If you want to look at it that way, it wasn't fair making everyone build the original camp and then sending half of them away to live elsewhere.
As for Ravu losing, it's got nothing to do with where they're living. They keep giving up lead after lead in the challenges. If they're not losing at puzzles, they're losing because tribemates aren't giving it their all out there.

I do, but I don't know why. Maybe it's at the point where I feed off negative energy from haters now. There is nothing about her to like, but I do anyway. Not enough to cheer her on though. There's nobody to cheer on.

Four episodes in, and there is not one person on the show I like enough to want to see win. There are people I don't want to see win ("Dreamz", the moron; "Rocky", the imbecile; Anthony, who really needs to start trying in the challenges; everyone on Moto who voted for comfort; any woman who hasn't noticed that not a single penis has been voted off yet). The only one I'm seeing with any cheering potential right now is Earl, but he really needs to step up his game.

Actually, if you go back and watch it, the part from which the nasty thing was emerging has a tongue, still, which means it wasn't shedding! There were like, two snakes! At least! Something scary was going on there.

I forgot to mention that I watched Survivor Live yesterday and gary said that the medical condition that made him opt to leave the island was not due to the fall he took in the challenge. It was a reaction to all the bug bites he got. He said that he was still dizzy and short of breath in the hospital until they gave him an IV drip with some kind of steriod and then he felt 100% better about an hour later. There's no real way to get beyond that on the island. It's not like the bugs were gonna stop biting him.
