I agree FC. This ep. was what LOST is all about. We got some answers too. There is a sub. The cable goes to a beacon. All the Dharmas are dead. The Others were there first. Kate actually kicked ass. Locke was like a moth to a light with that computer. He's destroyed two stations, what's he got... 5 left to go. Well.... at least his curiousity didn't kill the cat.

By the way... I loved everything Sayid, and his back story was moving and relevant.

i LOVED this episode! sayid gets shot in the f*cking arm and still manages to kick the one-eyed guy's ass!!!! god i love him! :drool: i was getting a little bit concerned for him when he kept staring at that cat but then when they showed the flashback... i'd have been staring too.

i loved that they played sawyer for no more nicknames for a week! thats like special torture for him, lol!

I'm confused about one thing though. I thought in the first season they tried to use a compass but it wouldn't work. Does anyone else remember that, or did I imagine it?

It was a good episode, but i was a little disappointed as i was expecting more.

I don't think the Others are the "hostiles" that was being mentioned, i think these might turn out to be the original inhabitants of the island before Dharma turned up, and i think we will see these before the season ends, probably the season finale.

Once again, Sayid comes through. What the hell happened to Locke? He used to be so cool. Now he's just a big fucktard like Kate.
It's funny, the eye patch guy probably saved all their asses by preventing Locke from entering 77 the first time. He should have just done us all a favor and cut his bald head off with that knife. I predict that before reaching the next hatch, John will make a secret detour to the pirate ship and stuff his backpack with dynamite. Then, at the worst moment he'll suffer a massive seizure and accidentally drop it on a bank of computers.

I'm hoping that Lost didn't reach it's peak for the season in this episode. If it did, I'll be disappointed. It was a pretty good episode (especially compared to last week), but it left me wanting just a little more.
