Buh Bye Sundance! Your brillo pad puddy beard will be missed.
Smell ya later Antonella, be seeing you in Maxim within 6 months.
Jared, the face wipe gimmick just didn't work for you, dawg. I don't know.... it was weird.....
Hey Sabrina, even though you have pubic hair growing out of your head, I still think your better than Haley's Vomit.
I screamed when Antonella got voted off. I'm so depressed. I wanted her in the top 12, at least. I was hoping Sabrina and Haley would go.
At least Sundance is gone. I'm so happy. (It's like, come on, JEREMY? Are you just ASKING to get voted off?)

There are several people in the "Top 12" who just dont belong. I'll keep watching hoping that Haley and Sanjaya go home ASAP. Phil and Brandon need to step it up big time because I no likey right now. The girls..... need to show more range. Otherwise the Whitney Houston catalog will be all played out in a few weeks.
And as far as the "Big Suprise" last night. The "biggest news" in idol history. That was about as exciting as watching the guy's performance show. I'm all hugs & kisses towards africa and all..... but isn't Angelina Jolie doing enough for orphans on behalf of america? Why create a soap box out of my cheezy reality tv show?
I distracted myself during that segment by noticing how similar the idol charity logo is to another familiar logo you may have in your home........

Damn, we're not getting anymore Head...
I definitely didn't think Jason could win, but he was someone I could occasionally look at at least. :rolleyes2: He seemed to have one of the more genuine personalities, too. Oh, well.
The only guy I can see having a somewhat successful career right now is Blake. I definitely don't think he'll win, but I can see him putting out some stuff that some people might like.
I wonder if Sabrina knew she was going beforehand because she was crying before he gave the results and I doubt she cared that much about Haley to cry thinking she might have been the one going. I liked some of her performances, but, sometimes, it felt like her voice was so high pitched that, once she stopped singing, my ears hurt a little. I think I liked her better than Stephanie though.
I agree with Devoted Satellite, which is why I'm sort of glad we're going to be going into theme weeks because I'd like to see some versatility... or some train wrecks. Whichever.
I felt bad for Antonella (wth was with the judges this year?), but I would've felt worse if she had stayed in. I hope she doesn't go all crazy from the crap some people put her through for seemingly no real reason. She seemed like a nice, pretty girl who fell into a wrong crowd (yes, you, BFF!). She didn't really seem genuinely conceited.

Wow, I thought Antonella's antics would get her a spot in the top 12 for sure. I mean, she is nice to look at and beats Haley hands down. If we could have kept her for a couple more weeks, I probably could have found her with a webcam online somewhere :).
As for Sanjaya even making it into the top 12, please what is up with that? Do we have Indians gaming the system with their specially coded dialers? If he survives past 11, there is something seriously wrong. The kid can not sing.

Now that votefortheworst.com (http://www.votefortheworst.com) is backing Sanjaya, we might be seeing him for a while.
Even though they were backing Sundance and Antonella, and they just got booted, so it didn't really work. Who knows? That's why I love this show, you can never really tell what's going to happen, though some people say they can. I dunno, I've always been surprised by some of the eliminations.

Okay, it's time to admit it.
I have the hugest crush on Sanjaya Malakar.
I don't know why. I don't know how. Alls I know is that my heart flutters a little when he comes on the screen.
And I voted for him like five times tonight and I never vote. What is wrong with me?!
To even it out though, I also voted for Melinda like five times so don't throw rocks. Okay, don't throw pointy ones.

Wow, Chris. You are truly, truly gay.
It's all good though...since you are truly gay and all.
What did you think about Simon calling Seacrest "out", by the way? I guess he's done skirting the issue. (pun intended).

Ahahaha. Yeah...
Basically, I think it's reall stupid. Simon and Seacrest go back and forth like high school freshman and dis each other using "gay" as the ultimate insult. I wish for once there would be a strong, gay contestant on that show that would put them in their place. I'm sure they're both good guys, but you have to realize that when you have an audience of that magnitude, and they are absorbing every ounce of opinion those judges have, especially Simon, that your negative remarks are going to carry over. It's upsetting. If more people, especially those in the media, would just have the decency to stand up for being respectful to everyone, we could all breathe a little easier.
P.S. Thanks to everyone here for always being accepting and giving nothing but love. You don't find that everywhere.

Well that's over. You voted for Sanjaya. You are dead to me.
I mean, added to the whole Cleveland thing, it's just too much. I'm sure you understand.

It's nights like these that I really really really miss my dear sweet love, Antonella
And dude, I totally want Sanjaya to stick around! Same with Haley, she just wouldn't shut up about how terrible she was. I love it!
Melinda did awesome, and I'm still a Blake fan. The rest...meh.

I need help--I am in an American Idol pool at work, trying to win the big bucks. Each week I have to vote on who's in the bottom 3 and who's going home. I am pretty sure...damn, I forgot his name...the backup singer who sang first and forgot his words...anyway, I am pretty sure that guy's going home. But who is going to be standing next to him? I think Sanjaya COULD be in the bottom 3, but I am stumped otherwise. I need help! I'll check DialIdol...otherwise...any ideas, guys? Pretty please...maybe I'll split my winnings. :D

HELP!!!
Does anyone know of any website where you can watch Idol performances & judges comments together? (Basically the whole show in segments).
Evil demons at Comcast wiped out my cable last night at 8pm. My whole neighborhood was out. It finallly came back at 9:20 or so, but I missed pretty much the whole thing.
I know i can find performance clips at Rickey.org or go wild-card and do You-tube searches, but I wanted to know if theres anything better out there. I like both seeing the performers, then the range of judge responses from Randy's off target comments, Paula's drunken banter and Simon's dead-on commentary.

Oh my God, Chris! What IS wrong with you?
Okay, I still have a little crush on Brandon. His singing is sucking, I know, but I just think he has a cute smile.

idolstartv.com is a great one that lets you see everything. All you have to do is register using an email address and that takes two seconds and they've never been obnoxious spammers.

I think Jordin may win it. It depends who is the bigger demographic, in age and in gender.
I think Beatbox Blake brings a lot to the show, if all the contestants brought it like he does it'd be a really entertaining show.
Melinda and LaKisha are going to cancel each other out. Why didn't one of them sing "I'm Coming Out" last night or "Upside Down You Turn Me"? That would have been powerful!!!! OMG that would have ROCKED!!!! To bad, song selection sucked last night!

At least we'll get to see what "magic" they work with his hair again.

Did anyone else find Diana Ross' voice to be mirror shatteringly shrill? When did she lose her ability to sing? I mean I know she looks pretty good for someone her age. Amazing what a steady stream of preservatives will do. But that voice was enough to make cats howl.
You just know if she was a contestant Simon would have been ALL over her.

Yes, and the thing that REALLY annoyed me the night before was when she kept saying that Gina needed to "PROUNOUNCIATE" and she said it with such ENUNCIATION that it was painfully clear.
Tink, did you read Flip's recap to notice his Photoshopping and new name for Seacrest? :D

I dont care for Sanjaya as a singer (although if he wants to spread me with honey and lick me all over i will be waiting impatiently for his next birthday and then do it with pleasure) but I really really feel bad for him.
I mean people are really vicious with him. Poor kid is only 17yo and after all, it is the judges that put him through. No need to pile on the hatred with all the almost homophobic jokes about his appearances, his hair and now his myspace pics ?
Geez
Honestly I dont really root for anybody. For the sake of the show I hope Melinda wins but I am not really emotionally involved in her win (or in someone's loss).

I felt bad for the last two of the top 12 Haley and Sanjaya (sp?) when they were picked last week and took their place off stage it looked like no one hugged them or congratulated them or anything, not like all the others that hugged and celebrated being chosen. How hard is that? And the judges even bashed on them until Paula spoke up and said nothing against you guys. Must be extremely hard to get up on that stage and perform for those two, more so than anyone else.
I liked when Melinda got her standing ovation. She seemed genuinely touched and moved to tears. That was cool. TVGuide tv channel had a short interview with her and she and her friends only went to the auditions to see all the crazy characters and have fun. And she said her friend and her could only go in if they auditioned. I quoted that horribly, if anyone saw that can you please do better job of saying what she said. Melinda seems like the real deal, cut from a different cloth than the rest.

I think most singers lose there voices about age 70....
Julie Andrews.... Diana Ross....Mick Jagger.....
My Grandma.....Steven Tyler... The big ole lady
behind me in church.....
(Rob will strike me for that one!)
But we must remember this from DreamGirls......
Diana Ross was picked because of her sale-ability,
not her weak singing voice!:scared:

There is no such word as pronounciate. The word is pronounce. Pronounce your words clearly. Pronunciation is a word but there is no 'U' in it and should be said, pro-nun-see-a-shun.
I did notice that her voice was not dazzling and yes Simon would have been all over her as a contestant. I am not sure she ever had one of those knock your socks off voices either. She was singled out during the Supremes because she was hot and had star quality.

That was my point, that there's no such word as pronounciate. That it's either enunciate or pronounce. She said the "word" pronounciate/pronounciation more than once. And with great enunciation, or pronunciation, if you prefer. And she sounded like a moron.

Thanks. I am. I am even an avid fan of Top Design which is a huge disappointment and quite bad. I am addicted to the reality genre. Tivo is an excellent tool those that stay beyond their logical end. Watching The Apprentice in 10 minutes is a fabulous thing.
