So, the TVgasm Live Chat is back up and running. It has moved to a new location however:

The number one most requested feature is that people be able to log on using their name and password, so that's what we did. Use your forums username and password to log on.

There is only one room now, but as we do more with our live broadcasts, we'll be using this interface to interact with the folks onscreen instead of text messages. I haven't announced it on the main page, but feel free to test it out and let me know if there is anything that you think should be improved (I'm still working on the looks).

One thing -- I know this may be another way to enhance the whole gasm experience, but I’m afraid it may be another thing to distract me from reading the excellent TVgasm recaps. Any suggestions on how I can do it all and still have a life outside of this website?

So, somebody e-mailed me about the chat. Yes, the server does keep chat logs. No, I don't spend my spare time reading what the chat logs say, unless somebody were to complain about the behavior of another user and then I would review the chat and follow up accordingly. When we did the TVgasm chat last time, a few of the writers couldn't be there for the whole thing, so I sent them the transcript.

To make a long story short, you should feel free to say whatever you please just like on the forums.

yeah - it was nothing FC. Just girls (and jash) talking. Thanks to that stimulating late night chat, and the fact that I was exhausted from work today and took a nap after- I'm still up at 3:30 am needing to go back to sleep.

Boy was I sad no one was chatting when I got home last night from drunken karaoke. We were blessed with some true American Idols Senior Edition rejects. I can never figure out if these people are just having fun blowing off steam (which is great, go for it) or if they are deluded enough to think that they can really sing. This one guy killed Livin' on a Prayer and by killed I mean he shattered glasses and caused dogs everywhere to howl. It was so bad that I called up my house and left it as a message to myself so people could hear how utterly heinous it was. But the guy was so in the zone, we had to applaud him. So anyway, how'd I wind up here? I guess I thought this needed to be discussed in the chat at 1:30 this morning.

now I wish I would have logged on LQ. I love that shit! There was one girl that used to sing all the time at the bar I worked at that we called "Two-note sally" b/c she could only hit two true notes. The rest were all sharps and flats. To make it worse, she always sang "Who's Bed Have Your Boots Been Under". It was so bad I though a blood vessel would burst in my brain. Good times though. I can only imagine how someone could massacre Bon Jovi.:p
