Lamest Apprentice episode ever. This was it? Making a lame-ass commercial isn't final task material, and really, four people to the end? What was the point of this lame-ass task?

Indeed. Although I did laugh at all the stupidity. For a final task though it was very simple.

The whole meeting the past apprentii (lol) was kinda reminiscent of BSG and the five cylons. Maybe it was just me.

The commercial Frank and Nicole did was terrible. The idea stunk, and the editing was hideous. At least James and Stephanie had a good idea, and better editing.

Can't say much else. Nicole isn't going to win. It's between James, Frank, and Stephanie. Since Stephanie is the least annoying, I'm hoping she wins.

Totally agree.... what was the point of this episode???
No one fired???
Final task???
4 finalists???

Hope this is the end... too bad, it used to be an entertaining show.

Until Nicole is fired in the most embarassing way possible, I will not rest. I hope it happens next week, live, and she completely implodes.

So lame. 40 minutes of my life were wasted last night.

Hello all, first time poster here but long time lurker. This Apprentice episode made me so mad that I finally signed up for the forum; it was 45 minutes of my life that I'll never get back. WTF, Trump?? 4 finalists? And all they had to do was make a commercial? Yeah, that's as hard as managing a 4 hour event.

Trump said in the boardroom that "there are no losers here." Oh, I disagree. There are about 25 losers, and they are us- the remaining viewers.

I'm debating whether I should even watch the finale.

I share your disappointment and disgust. So sad what became of a show that was at one time at the top-tier of reality shows. My guess is that everyone involved in the show knows this is the end of the line, and they either couldn't find sponsors/charities who wanted to be involved in a high-profile final task, or the producers simply wanted to wrap things up cheaply and quickly. Oh, how I long for the days of "Zenthura"! God, that was great tv!

Not that I would even want to see a 2 or 3 hour finale, but funny how the finale is only an hour, which will include 3 firings and a reunion show. Of course it's not like I give a crap about any of these contestants. I'm a little curious what the gay tiny bathing suit guy is now doing for a living. Other than that, we'll probably just get bored to death with questions to Tim and Nicole about the showmance the producers have been pushing on us all season.

The only way I could see this show coming back would be if they took it in a totally different direction. What if they had candidates with little to no business background looking to break through to a world they thought they'd never have a chance to gain entry to? A very smart kid with no money working two jobs and going to community college at night? Maybe a former A student who had to drop out of school because she got pregnant? An immigrant who was a high-level professional in his home country but has had to drive a cab since coming to America? Something like that might get people wanting to watch again.

I love this idea! Someone get Mark Burnett on the phone, stat.

I've got to stop giving my good ideas away for free. I have documented proof in the archives of this website that I came up with the idea of an American Idol songwriting contest to determine the winner's first single.

Well, I hate to disappoint you. OK, in that case I'll amend my idea to say that all the contestants have to be female and hot, so then I could talk about which one I'd rather do.

I don't see The Donald doing a "rags to riches" Apprentice. Remember, he never liked the idea of street smarts vs. book smarts and that season was even lamer than this one.

Although I was disappointed in the final task, the final show should be fast paced with a 45 minute boardroom and three getting fired . . . IF the task had been better it would be more enjoyable than a golf event in the rain, a street basketball game in the rain or a celebrity softball game in the rain. PLUS, Ivanka and The Junior at his side offering whatever giggles they think are necessary

If this is going to be a 4 way, 45 minute board room, then Frank is going to be the next Apprentice. Frank is at his best in the boardroom, and Trump has already expressed admiration for how well he fights and defends himself. I can't believe I'm saying this, but it's going to be Frank over the lovely Stefani and her librarian glasses for the win.

I think Frankie's best maneuver will be to point out to Trump that he has thrived OUTSIDE his element. Trump has been complimentary to Frankie on several occasions BUT he has never come out and said "Gee Frankie, you are a kid from the Bronx, what do you know about LA and this laidback lifestyle?"

Stefani cannot win - she has NEVER led a single task. That is a strategy that can ONLY take her so far. Frankly, I am suprised it lasted her this long. I have to wonder, will THIS be the episode where Stefani FINALLY shows us JUST how big her breasts are? She has been doing her best to HIDE them all season long.

Nicole is around for COLOR and nothing more.

James could win - he's the most entreprenurial and visionary of the group. I also think Trump may be SWAYED to go with James given the DIFFICULTIES that the KOREAN IMMIGRANT community has had over the past WEEK. Trump picks James, and takes the focus off Korean Immigrants for atleast a day. Don't think Trump is beyond factoring this in - not for a minute.

Wow, Merv, those are some really good observations. Your James theory is a strong one. It will be interesting to see if it plays out as you described. And LOL at Stephanie's hidden breasts!

Oh - and welcome to the forums!
