holy crap! the first minute of the show with charlie! that was crazy! i knew it had to be one of desmond's flashes but that scene caught me so off guard.

i thought this episode had some really funny moments - sawyer had a lot of funny one-liners. Jin telling the scary story was priceless!

i was worried that desmond's backstory was going to be boring and drag down the episode but i dont think it did (for me anyways). who gets kicked out of a monestary?! and who was that girl at the end - she knew his name but she was Penny or that other chick that he was engaged to....

next week's episode looks pretty good too! :thumbup:

I think that Penny sent that woman there to find him maybe, it's the only think I could think of that made any sense.

Did anyone catch that pic on the desk of the head Monk (hee hee, I said "head" Monk). It was him with that old woman that sold Des the ring! I had to rewind to be sure but damn skippy it was her. What's up with that!?

I wish he would have let Charlie die...jeesh get it over with already!

I just read somewhere that the book they found in the backpack was in Portuguese which is what those 2 guys at the end of last season that were working for Penny were speaking. Coincidence? I think not...

The joke Sawyer cracked about Jack and Juliet talking about who is their favorite other was awesome.

This episode was all about Kate rockin' that tight body of hers. Mmm mmm Mmmmmmmmmm

Desmond's monk wig was horrible.
I wish he wouldn't have saved Charlie. I know someone is bound to die before season end, so please, let it be Charlie.

I think Penny sent this big tooth girl to find Desmond. Does anyone know if those beacons are hooked up to anything? What brought the plane/helicopter down?

I read on Aussiello (http://www.tvguide.com/News-Views/Columnists/Ask-Ausiello/default.aspx)that five people are going to die! Here's hoping Charlie's one of them!

I finally got to watch this last night...online at ABC since my DVR decided "oh what the hell, I won't record Lost...she won't care".

Not as good as the last few, but the humor was great! I loved "who's your favorite other?" and the afternoon delight.

Best moment was Jin telling the Korean ghost story with the flashlight under his chin and Hurley jumping. Best moment.

I hope Sawyer's storyline gets better. Right now he's just the comic relief with the one-liners. That's Hurley's job...... and I'm one of the few that doesn't want Charlie to die.

I loved that, too. I also loved that we finally got a shout-out to Bernard, because the mysterious disappearance of Rose and Bernard has been bugging me for the longest. Now if we could just get a reference to the 4-toed statue and get a Rousseou flashback, I'd be a happy girl!

Yay! I would love a Vincent flashback. I think a Vincent and Rousseu flashback would tell us everything we could possibly need to know about the island. How can we make this happen?

Jack has become almost as irritating as Charlie (sorry), but at least he used to be cool. Thanks to Desmond for filling the vacuum of coolness that was created upon Eko's death.

I used to hate Charlie because I thought he was an ass as the hobbit, but he's growing on me now.
