Can I keep this? 5-2-07 episode

Dionne was cracking me up, she tried to get free clothes from all the designers, just like a real supermodel.

Poor lil' Brit, her photos were fantastic, but I knew she was a goner after she pitched that fit and the modeling agency lady heard every bleeping word she said. I guess she needs a bit more emotional control before going out in the real modeling world. :lol:

actually i didnt think brits pics were all that nice this week (but ive never really been a big fan of her, and think shes quite unattractive, but then im also a skinny pale redhead, so maybe i just have self-esteen issues) and i cant say im sorry to see her leave. dionne really brought up a good point about brit concerning the whole memory loss-ness of the last few weeks though; if she has shortterm memory loss how could she remember the lines in the acting challenge?? and they actually had cue cards for the commercial challenge, so im glad her excuse-making butt is gone!

this episode almost made me like renee though. we actually got to see that maybe she would be a good model -if she gets rid of the mullet that tyra mistakenly gave her. bad tyra! (i think there was a secret challenge to do the makeovers horribly and see which girls still triumphed. just my opinion)

and totally agree with angiemarie that Dionne was hilarious with all her "can i keep this" but was anyone else hoping tyra would bitch her out a bit for being unprofessional?? or do real models really ask to keep the clothes like that?

I was also glad to see Brit go, and I agree that I thought Dionne's point about Brit's contradiction re: her ability to memorize lines one week and then not another was awesome. I think Brit's pictures have been some of the strongest, but her walk is ATROCIOUS! And her voice drives me up the wall. I thought her men's mag pic this week was amazing, not so much her women's mag pic.

I was surprised by Jaslene this week--she really pulled her inner drag queen in, and her runway walk is great. I do like her personality too. She doesn't come close to my true love, Natasha, though.

I think Dionne's next to go, and then it's a tough call, but I think we're looking at a Renee/Natasha showdown in the finals. Jaslene could take Renee's spot if she continues to do better in the next couple of weeks.

I liked this episode, but did anyone notice the previews for next week!!!!!! Looks like Rene is trying to get the gang to take Natasha out of the competition :scared:

Dionne made a good point indeed about memorizing lines for the acting challenge vs. memorizing the commercial. It didn't even occur to me and I was feeling sorry for Britt until I realized Dionne was right. I did love Brittany and I was sorry to see her go but she really did self-destruct in the end.

I cannot believe no one said anything to Dionne about asking to keep the clothes. It's so unprofessional. If you say you love something and the designer offers it to you, maybe that's okay. But to flat out ask? I am sure some of the designers were caught off guard or felt uncomfortable and so maybe gave her things they didn't really want to. The show made such a big deal out of it every time she asked, even using subtitles from time to time so I really thought she was going to be in trouble. And then no mention of it AT ALL at panel. Just like Jael's plunges in the pool--no mention of that either. Strange. And disappointing. I was sure Dionne was going home last night.

I can't believe how much I love Nata. I didn't like her much at first but she has totally grown on me. I hope she goes all the way!

i thought last night.s episode was great: mainly b/c i.ve started to have a growing hatred for brittany and her inability to own up to any of he actions. i do kind of feel bad for her though, b/c her hair still looks really horrible. why, tyra, why???

i almost liked rene this week, and a friend of mine who has never watched the show wanted to know why i thought she was such a bitch, and i was a loss of words to explain...is she starting to get the "good" edit b/c she.s going to win?? (please god no!)

and jaslene! my woman, i forgot about how awesome she was and then this week she came in it to win it! honestly i cannot imagine a more awesome finale than between her and natasha!!

One thing I don't understand (ha! like there's just one???) about the judges is that nobody calls Natasha out for wearing her hair like a goober. Dionne gets bad marks for not looking like a model, but Natasha leaves hers all frizzy and then pins the bangs straight out to the sides and that's okay?

I think she's going to win and Rene will come in second. That's the way the editing seems to be pointing.

I thought Brit took wonderful pictures but that locked jaw way of speaking....run for the hills.

Dionne is so plain, I just don't get it. I wouldn't have even picked her for the finals, let alone to be in the final four.

Jaslene takes the best pictures I think of all of them. Remember the outcast pic. That was just spectacular. When she speaks though and she gets her 6,453 lines on her forehead, she just pales in comparison.

Natasha is still my favorite. I just can't wait to get her back out of that horrid haircut/color. Ewwwwwwwwww The commercial where they all look like fairies and nymphs, she looks stunning with that blonde hair.

yeah, i never really got what they saw in her either, i thought she looked kinda manish, especially with that mullet-in-training she seems to have goin on, but when they gave her extensions for the shoot this week i totally fell in love. she looked SOOO different and kinda pretty for once. and i think her pictures kicked ass, and im usually a hardcore renee hater
