Am I the last to know that the finale is a two part, two hour event?? So excited (and sad at the same time), and I'm really glad I checked the TV listings or I would have missed the first half!
Just wanted to make sure everyone else was aware...

I am glad you said something - because I did not know that! Thanks!

Yup. I'm ready. Kleenex in hand. I know VMars is not a sappy show, but I'm so attached. And if it's the last time we'll ever see all of them I need to be ready.

I'm with you... I've never cried at an episode yet (close, but not quite), but tomorrow night might be different. I love this show, period.
What pisses me off most (and maybe it shouldn't but I'm a little bitter right now) is that the CW website is still calling it a SEASON finale, not a series finale. I think I'm still hoping they'll change their minds (again) and bring back the show for another year. I'm in the denial stage of mourning... :crying:

Oh totally. Every time I hear "season" finale I grasp onto that tiny bit of hope I have left. They have til mid June sometime to decide. I know luck probably won't fall our way, but until they say it flat out, I'm holding out hope.

I agree with both of you. I SO want them to change their minds! It won't help that the "season" finale is going up against AI though.

don't be sad yet, girls!!
the show as we know it's dead, but the fbi thing looks promising. they are setting it up already in the storylines, and rob thomas has til june to turn in his pilot. let's hope it kicks ass.
i am delusional, but i am pretty sure it will be back for at least a ten episode trial run in the spring.....but then again i thought lakisha was gonna win idol. WAAAAHHHHHH:blush:

I hate to break it to you guys - but Dawn Ostroff stated that Veronica as we know it is dead. She said that she was open to doing something new with Rob Thomas and Kristen Bell, but shortly after that Rob Thomas said he had no idea what she was talking about, as nobody had talked to him and Kristen is no longer under contract and his is up in a few weeks. Dawn Ostroff just doesn't have the balls to come out and say "It is cancelled".

Well she's officially my least favorite person in the world.

Me! Me!! Yes, please!
I'm such a loser, wearing black and listening to the Veronica Mars soundtrack over and over. I'm just trying to find a healthy way to deal with my grief... Surely kicking the shit out of the network bitch who pulled the plug qualifies as "healthy", yes?

6:59... I almost don't want to turn the tv on. As if not watching it might make the cancellation untrue. :sob:

The 2 hour finale was great and its going to make me miss Ms. Mars even more. She was in rare form last night - god I love this show! We even got to see Wallace, Piz, Mac and Veronica hanging out.

I have to be honest. I'm a little annoyed with Rob Thomas or whoever the guy in charge is. Knowing the show had a good chance of not being picked up, he could have given the fans an ending that would have made us get a little closure, kind of like what they did for Gilmore Girls. Instead we get new mysteries and shocking twists and I just remembered something... did Veronica really vote for Vinnie? If so, why?
PS: Loved the episode as a season finale, just not as a series finale.
PPS: {{{{{{VM fans}}}}}} -- those are my best breasty hugs for all us heartbroken Veronica Mars fans. Don't bogart the kleenex, flip!

I agree completely. It was a good season finale, but not for the very last ep ever. I'm just depressed.

I can't believe I waited so long to watch the last 4 episodes. WOW...I loved the finale. I wasn't much of a Logan fan, but he was fantastic. Veronica was in rare form.
And Jamp. I'm pretty sure she voted for Keith.
It was awesome to see the Cains and their bodyguard dude....brought back some great memories.
