From The Qwertz's recap - TVgasm Enters the Realm of Jonathan Antin - For some reason this really tickled me.
"As B-Side took the photo he said to Louis Van Amstel "Every time I hear 'The Final Countdown' I think of you and Lisa Rinna." Not at all weird."

Some of my favorite recap quotes come from BB6 about April's old granny self.
Favorite quote about April:
"It is a really easy job for her since a lot of her neighbors like to buy drugs from her, and when she gets back to the 2nd floor northeast wing of that nursing home, I'm sure they'll throw a party. It's either arthritis medicine, timeshares, or Rascal mobility scooters, and you can tell April chose well."
Favorite BB6 Recap Title:
"Don't Piss on My Leg and Tell Me April Won HOH"

Those were great ElectraGlide.
Ok this isn't a recap quote but it's so funny I had to include it. I am talking to Deltoro in Chat and we were discussing the upcoming CT HH. I was noting how LizardQueen is going:
[TinkerbellAPixie] 6:55 pm: i told her to represent for all of us who can't go
[deltoro] 6:56 pm: absolustely.
[deltoro] 6:56 pm: yes, I typed that absoLUSTely.
How fitting.....hmm.. indeed
There is a quote about Stephen's lack of articulation from one of B-side's LB recaps that set me off on a giggling fit, but now I can't find it. I searched the archives yesterday but came up empty. I'll post the exact text when I find it but it has something to do with comparing listening to Stephen speech with listening to someone trying to tune an AM radio dial.
My description doesn't do the quote justice. Just take my word for it, it was funny.

Sounds familiar. Was it about all of Stephen's clicks and clacks and buzzes? That was hilarious!

Pretty much anything B-side writes is entirely quotable. But for me, all the comedy gold is in the recap titled "It's a Giada Disaster!!". Best. Recap. Ever!!!
It's as if Lucifer himself has served me a slushy!

From Veronica Mars: Busy Busy Beaver by J-Unit
"Think back to the first time you watched a movie with your parents and the movie cut to a steamy sex scene. There's the awkward silence, the uncomfortable shot of boobs or bare ass, then the hope that the sex scene is not very long and that there isn't too much screaming or slapping of body parts, followed by a courtesy pause and a "should I make some popcorn?" just to get out of the room."
I don't know if it's the quote itself (slapping of body parts!) or the fact that it's so very detailed that makes me laugh.

me and poor, dead boone always IM each other the best lines from recaps, now we gotta thread to share with all.....
Best Recap Title from 24, via J-Unit
"Chump Don't Want No Help, Chump Don't Get No Help"
Best Title from Lost, via Kat, i think.
"Sawyer. The Other White Meat."
As for best lines, waaay too many to list here. Let's just say anytime EdHill uses the word, cooter. I could be in the worst mood ever, and that single word will make me pee.

AGREED!!! it was B-Side and his 'Guna recaps that got me hooked on TvGasm. Still looking forward to catching up with his Hills recaps.... they are sooo not standard.

Yep. That's the one. I swear I spent like two hours one day scanning every LB recap to find the quote and I just couldn't find it. I'm pretty sure it's from a second season episode but I can't be sure. If anyone happens to stumble upon it, let me know or just go ahead and post it. Thanks!

ok, after pondering this thread a few minutes, and conferring with fellow TvGasm adddict poor, dead boone, we have come up with the following goodies:
From Lost, in "Ana Lucia, meet Shannon..."
We start the show on the beach where Shannon and Vincent are getting some water. Sayid walks up to her and tells her to gather her things and follow her. He then leads her down the beach to a hut that he constructed for her from wreckage from the plane. He might as well have put a sign on it saying "Sayid's boom boom shack", since we all know why he made it.
Also from the same recap.....
Back in the Love shack (it has a tin roof...rusted), Sayid and Shannon are post coitus. And from the look on Shannon's face it seems that once you go Iraqi, you never go backy.
Both courtesy of EdHill. In fact, I'd have to re-read, but if there is a cooter reference in there, it would have to qualify as the single greatest recap ever. It's pretty close even if not.
Another fave title, from 24:
"Shock to the Heart, and Jack's to Blame." - J-Unit
damn this forum is gonna get me fired...... gotta get some work done now.

Zach had basically just left her with a case of female blue balls (what would that be? Purple vag?).
Oh, crap, girls! Looks like our secret is out!

ME TOO!! I stubbled across this to see what happened on Laguna and they were sooo funny that I kept coming back to this site and then started reading about multiple other shows. B-Side is HILARIOUS!
