LOST Revisited....

I've been watching season 1 again and there's alot of shit I forgot and alot of shit I wish I had forgotten. I am sooo glad Michael and WAAAALLLTTT are gone. I hate Michael more than ever now. Walt's storyline just fizzled out. Maybe the connection between him and Locke will be explored again, but for now I'm glad they sailed off into the sunset.

I couldn't remember who drew first blood. Now I see it WAS Ethan. He killed Scott (known as Steven to Sawyer) because Charlie didn't bring him Claire.

The girls walked around with less clothing in S1. Every other ep. had Kate or Shannon undressing. Shannon was in a bikini alot. No wonder all the guys were pissed when she died.

Sayid was soooo HOT!!! He got alot of screen time. Sawyer too.....not all this Jack shit shoved down our throats. Kate was rubbing her crotch on him as much as she could tho.

Locke was totally awesome. He was THE man. With his suitcase full of knives and hunting boars....WOW. Jack turned to him for alot of shit.

Charlie was the sweetest. He was always looking after Claire. I know he takes the baby in season 2, but I haven't watched that yet, so I still love him. I'm sad he dies, but he was always almost dying, even before Desmond showed up. Other people were saving his ass.

Well, back to watching.....I recommend you LOST fans revisit the other 2 seasons too. It helps fill the void.

I too, loved how much more of an ensemble show it was back then. Everyone had a lot of screen time. And I really like Locke then too.

I just finished watching Season #1. The kidnapping of Sayid by Danielle and the death of Boone and birth of Claire's baby were interesting to watch again. It still cracks me up how careful they were with that dynomite the first time they took it. Then seaon #3 has Danielle coming to get a case of it like she was shopping at Costco.

I'm starting season #2 and I'm not thrilled about rewatching the storyline of the tail section, especially since I know they all die. (except Bernard)

Just watched S#2's finale and thought I'd go back thru the posts and see what everyone had to say afterwards. It seems so different now that we've seen S#3, but very interesting. Makes me wonder how off-base we are in our theories for S#4 after reading how off we were at the end of #2. Just finished watching the episode with Hurley and Dave. That was a great 'hmmm' plot-line. It made me go 'hmmmm' again, especially when the nurse gave Libby her pills while Hurley was getting his picture taken with "Dave".

ok guys.... I know I'm not gonna be in the majority on this one, but I just watched the episode with Benry locked up and all beat up. Everyone's had a turn with him and he still proclaims he's "one of the good guys." I'm starting to think that maybe he's right.

The Losties are a pack of murderers. They've all killed someone, except for Rose. They've even killed each other. I figure they've taken out at least a dozen 'others'. In the last episode, even Hurley, Locke, and Bernard killed someone. (I'm not watching these shows in sequence right now. The site I get them from is having problems) Right now, I can't think of who Jack has killed. Maybe he hasn't? Anyone know? Desmond killed Kelvin by accident, but put a spear thru Mikhail's chest.

On the 'other' hand, who have the 'others' killed? Ethan killed that guy because Charlie didn't bring him Clair. OK...OK, I know that Ben and Richard wiped out the Dharma people (and Ben killed Daddy), but we don't know why. Danielle has talked about this illness that overtook her crew members and she had to kill them all. Maybe the Dharma people had a plague? I'm just saying that the Losties have been doing more killing in the last 94 days than the 'others'.

I'm done now... this makes me crazy...(and Hurley's numbers are still on my mind)

That one dude was about to execute Sawyer before Jack saved him with the radio call.

The girls in the Pearl were gonna kill Charlie, and even Ethan wanted to kill Charlie before Mikhail succeeded in killing him.

Tom was annoyed that he wasn't allowed to kill Sayid, Jin and Bernard.

And I'm sure there are more examples that I just can't think of. But if you look at it I don't think the Losties ever killed just to kill. They always killed to save themselves or because they thought one of their own was in danger.

OK, let's see... the Rousseau message was going for 16 years. She gave birth to Alex just 2 months after arriving on the island and she said the Others took Alex when she was only 2 months old. Within a couple of more months, her crew got sick and she killed them all, and she recorded the message just after that. So everything major happened within 6 months of her arrival on the island 16 years ago.

I would guess the Dharma people have been there for at least 30 years or so, (right?) because they were there when Ben was a child. Whether or not Ben and the Others had already exterminated Dharma by the time Rousseau arrived, I have no idea.

Ben was approx. 10-11 yrs. old when he came to the island. That makes it at least 1973-74. Danielle sent the message 16 yrs. prior to the crash, making it 1988. Ben was 25. There is no date for the gassing of the Dharma people other than it was Ben's birthday and he was an adult. So we don't know if Danielle was on the island before or after they were eliminated. The one thing that makes me go hmmmm is that Kelvin (the guy in the Swan with Desmond) is suppose to be the same guy that dealt with Sayid in the Gulf War. He couldn't have come to the island before 1991 then. How'd he get there and locked in the Swan without the Others knowing? ....unless the gassing was after 1991.

That's the timelines I've determined so far.It's giving me a headache. Pek's the math whiz, not me.

.....and Tink, I only did a body count. What if's don't count. But remember, Sayid and Ana both wanted to kill Benry. They tortured the piss outta him. Locke and Jack kept them from it. But you do make a good point. They aren't cold-blooded murderers. They just like to kill people. The only one who really felt any remorse was Charlie, after he killed Ethan. The rest felt justified. And so did we.

Tink, I feel as if I didn't take your comment to heart about the reasoning behind the Losties killing others. I'll try to detail the demise of the Others.

Ethan was killed by Charlie because he was trying to protect Claire.
Goodwin was killed by Ana-Lucia. She fought with him after asking him about the kids and he said they were better off where they were. She impaled him.
Ana-Lucia also killed one at night, right after the kids were taken and found the list of all the people taken so far.
Eko killed two with his big stick right after the children were taken. He apologized to Benry later and asked his forgiveness. He cut his two beard-braids off then.
Sun shot Colleen on Desmond's boat when they boarded it. It didn't look like Colleen had a gun.
Two were killed when the dynamite exploded during the beach raid.
Two more were killed in their attempted raid by Jin when he had to shoot them cuz he couldn't shoot his pile of dynamite.
Of course, Sayid snapped that one guys neck with his legs.
Hurley ran over one with the van.
Sawyer shot Tom for "takin' the kid."
Sawyer also killed one that was following them when Michael was taking them to Ben.

So there ya have it.......my synopsis of the deaths by Losties of the Others. Stay tuned to this thread for deaths by Others of the Losties.

Charlie wasn't liked by many in the LOST community, but he wasn't all bad. He started out life musically inclined. His dad wanted him to become a butcher and take over the family business. His mother knew Charlie's love of music and bought him a piano for Christmas one year. It was only natural for him to pursue a music career. Drive Shaft was the band he and brother Liam started. Liam was lead singer and Charlie was the song writer and lead bass guitarist. Liam let fame overpower him. He became a heroin addict and the band declined as a result. Their one true hit, "You All Everybody", was used in an advertisement for BUTTIES diapers. The song was changed to "You All Every BUTTIES". Liam sold Charlie's piano for the money to buy a plane ticket to Australia. He entered rehab there to save his life and marriage. Charlie became a hopeless heroin addict too. He tried selling copiers, but was an awful salesman. He flew to Sydney to talk his brother into reforming the band. His brother had no desire to reunite the band. Charlie bought a ticket on Flight 815, seat 29C. He would return without his brother.

Thus began the last 93 days of his life. By the time he drowned in the 'Looking Glass' hatch, he had kicked his heroin habit and fallen in love with Clair. He set in motion the rescue of the Losties and the beginning of the flash-forwards of Season #4.

I started watching seasons 1 & 2 while season 3 was on TV and I definitely agree with Firecat - read the recaps after the episodes. Ed Hill hating the filthy others is awesome.

I know, I know!!! It's weird... with "The Others" (I seem to have a little dyslexic typing thing happenin' here today). It's like WTF? yes, I know, I am glad someone from LOST won too, considering they need to regear the emmy's to relflect the new era of TV shows.

Last year, they had LOST, Heroes, 24, and Grey's Anatomy all nominated for Best Drama. :confused: Lost and Heroes are similar, but otherwise they are all different types of shows.

What time was LOST on last season? I remember it being 9 or 10. If it does air on mondays, 10 would be a better timeslot for me.

It was on at 10/9c, I think. But I heard it's going to be on at 7/8c this season (which, from what I've read, is how it was the first season).

First season (and second, I think) were 9/8c, and last season was 10/9c. This year they're talking Mondays back at 9/8c. Apparently they'd rather compete with Heroes than American Idol?

I think "Heroes" will be in reruns or on hiatus by spring. This could be a good time for them.

I am. I even tried to play that Lost game last summer. It consumed way too much of my time and I really didn't have the brains to keep up with all of it. I lost (hee hee) a little interest in Lost because of that, but it's still one of my favorite shows.

Oh, I hear that game is soooo hard to play, I haven't even tried.

EST was 9, then they changed it to 10 after the break.
CST was 8, then they changed it to 9 after the break.

I just really hope that's a bad rumor about it being on Monday, and they keep it on Wednesdays, I don't care what time.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Actress Michelle Rodriguez was sentenced on Wednesday to 180 days in a Los Angeles jail for violating her probation on previous drunken-driving and hit-and-run offenses.

A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge ordered the former "Lost" actress to jail after she admitted failing to complete community service obligations contrary to a signed document stating otherwise, city attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan said. She must start her term by Christmas Eve.

Rodriguez, 29, was also found to have consumed alcohol on at least three occasions while wearing a monitoring bracelet around her ankle, in violation of a probation requirement she refrain from drinking for 90 days, Mateljan said.

The probation violation stems from a 2004 plea of no contest -- the equivalent of guilty -- to three traffic offenses in Los Angeles, including hit-and-run and drunken driving.

She was previously sentenced to 60 days in jail for a probation violation in May 2006, but was released after just four hours and 20 minutes due to overcrowding.

She was also sentenced to five days in jail in Hawaii in 2006 after she was found guilty in a separate drunken-driving case. In that instance, Rodriguez opted for jail after turning down a judge's offer to perform community service.

In the latest case, Judge Daviann Mitchell ordered that Rodriguez not be granted work furlough, early release or home confinement. She was also ordered to complete her 30 days of service for the state transportation department.

The actress first won acclaim for her portrait of a young pugilist in the 2000 indie film "Girlfight".
