Anyone watching InTurn?

Does anyone watch the soap reality show InTurn that's on CBS.com? I just started watching it and caught up with all the eps so far and omg, it is so addictive. (Here is a link for it!) (http://www.cbs.com/originals/inturn2/))

It's kind of like I Wanna Be a Soap Star, the winner gets a contract on As the World Turns if they win and when they get down to the top three people can vote for the winner on line. The challenges are so the best part - they've had to try to do a monologue while being distracted - people having water poored on them or (the BEST one) having a fart machine going off. And there are other more soap opera like challenges where people have to cry and die and all kinds of stuff. Its so much fun.

I hate the Natalie girl SO much. I think that either Adam or Jessamy is probably my favorite.

It's so fun! They put up a new episode every Tuesday and Thursday (or close to it) and the one they just added yesterday was episode number five. They're very short and easy to watch though - I don't think that it'll take very long to catch up at all!

I just finished yesterdays and the dying and crying challenge is so HILARIOUS. I don't know *what* some of those kids decided to do there....(Natalie's audition particulary is so...bizarre.)

I watched these short episodes and got hooked right away... Natilie hate is stong here in Arizona.. I can't wait until she is gone.....

I saw today that General Hospital was going to a night time break off soap..... I am not sure if it is on the web or tv though.. and I still do not get soapTV or what ever that channel is......... anyway it looked very interesting and i watch NO daytime soaps.......!

I watch these during the week at work, I find the laugh that I get from it is good for my day ;)

And, oh, Natalie. Like, just when I think I cannot stand this girl anymore, she finds a new way to make me dislike her. Whether it was her twirling around for the judges when she came into to do her audition (What. The. Heck.) or the fact that she was so rude to everyone back at the house....she's awful. And the thing is, is that you can see that she does know a lot about acting. Her enunciation and stuff is straight out of theater class, she knows the technical basics of everything - I just don't understand why she decides to be so over the top with everything all the time?

Looking forward to today's episode. I hope there is more discussion/critique of how they did in the challenge. I want to hear what the judges thought of Natalie's crazy breakdown thing. I wonder who will get cut? I think it might be Ry. He was mumbling through that whole thing...

Now you got me watching it. It's pretty enjoyable.

Natalie is a psycho hosebeast. She's pretty, but so are all the girls, so that won't take her all the way. They are keeping her and will keep her because it makes the show more interesting.

Ryan is a likely candidate to go soon. In fact, almost any of the guys could go. They are all really boring, in my opinion. The girls are much better.

Isn't it so fun? (I am so glad people are getting hooked. This is one of my favorite things to watch at lunch at work. A couple of my coworkers love it too.)

I think Ry is definitely the weakest guy. He mumbles and doesn't seem very charismatic to me. I like Ryan, the one that always gets emotional about his scenes, because he seems very soap-y to me. (And is pretty good looking.)

I can't wait until the next one since it looks like they are going to start acting with each other. How in the world is someone trying to share a scene with Natalie going to go??

Okay, as much as I am getting SICK of the InTurn banners all over the pages here at the forums...

I think Dyon is the best of all of them. She is talented, stable, beautiful. Otherwise, the top choices would be Ryan and Jessamyn. But right now I think it's Dyon's to lose.

Watching Natalie go home was awesome. It was worth those damn Lipitor commercials they make you sit through. She sucks at life. And the other InTurns "goodbyes" to her...PRICELESS! :D

God this show is so addicting. Watching Natalie get booted and all the other contestants celebrate was so emotionally satisfying. Their goodbyes to her were SO funny. Loooved all of it. Especially the part where the producer guy was like, everyone's sick of you and me too, good bye.

And now I officially love Dyon and Ryan. Dyon is clearly a really good actress, and I thought their audition together was really cute and silly. They looked so natural, like they had fun doing it and like it was easy. I think they need to be in the top 3 for sure.

Poor Ry, isn't he just the worst actor ever? I get that he loves it and all but....he's just not good.

yes southernbelle, I too cheered right here in front of my computer when Natalie was sent packing... and no one said goodbye, who's surprised here!!
I don't understand what Ry thinks he is going to get in this compition... he doesn't even act like he did a play in high school.. or a public speech, or ever spoke in front of a group of peeps..... I wonder if he came from modeling and thinks acting is where he wants to be.
I liked it when the guy I don't know his name..... told the producer to back off.... very ballsy.

I even got happy from them showing the rest of the InTurns cheering in the previouslies for this new episode. It still made me laugh. Though part of me wished that Natalie had lasted till this episode 'cause I think she would have been terrible at this challenge, and someone dumping water and shampoo in her face would have been funny. Oh well! (Still glad she's gone. It's amazing how much more I love the other contestants for simply NOT being Natalie! ;) )

Anyway, did anyone else just feel so uncomfortable for these kids in this challenge? No one seemed to do anything good in it. I guess Ryan was my favorite for actually seeming spontaneous and into it, and for just being cute. I thought he and Jessamyn were the "best" of the three pairs, as poor of a compliment as that is, but I did think that they had interesting chemistry together.

Ry was terrible and Adam, cute as he is was totally awkward in this. And Dyon! THat's the first time she's done badly in a challenge in ages but man it was really bad. She was so...stiff and awkward.

My money is on Ry or Adam getting the boot this week, I think probably Ry just has had too many second chances already and just...doesn't seem to have any real ability or love for it or anything. giffordasz , you're so right, it kind of doesn't seem like he's ever even acted in ANYthing before, I wonder what motivated him to try out for this?

i didn't think the couples had any chemistry. none of the scenes were sexy. all the guys seemed awkward and i felt uncomfortable watching. just a sort of "what the f am i watching" sort of feeling.

The weird thing for me, I could totally tell that Jessamyn had a crush on Ryan, so maybe that's why I could buy them together more. Though I totally totally did not notice the "Ryan stands around with his mouth hanging open" thing until the pointed it out but it's SO true. I was dying laughing.

So shocked by the double elimination - but I do think that they kind of both deserved to go. I guess that was to make up for the week they kept Lauretta?

Yeah, I figured there would be a double elimination sometime soon, and as long as it involved Ry, I was all for it. I am not sorry to see either one of them gone.

I am new to this board, and this site, but I was looking for a new place to chat about this show and I found tvgasm. I hope there isn't an initiation or anything! LOL

But i love ATWT, and have since i was very young, and I really enjoy watching InTurn. I wish it was a more developed show. I love the idea that we get to pick who gets a part instead of the casting people for once! Personally, i'm sick of some of the actors on ATWT right now and would love a new face.

My personal favorites from the beginning were Adam, Lauretta and Ryan. So far two are still in the running, but I was sad to see Adam go. I feel like we never really got to see what he was capable of.

Also, I read the posts on soapcentral.com about InTurn and someone found the actors' websites! They're fun to check out if you get the chance.

I grew up watching ATWT but now that I am an adult and have to work all day, I see it once in a blue moon and hence have no idea what is going on. Nevertheless, I have found InTurn a well-produced, entertaining web show to watch while I am sitting at the very job that keeps me from watching ATWT. Luckily the ATWT actors they have brought on thus far are ones I know well (Lily, Lucinda, Emily, Jack).

I guess I don't hate Jessamyn as much as everyone else. In fact, after Dyon, she's my favorite.

And about Jessamyn and Dyon - their little fight turned me off to both of them. None of them were very lady-like and they both seem a little too prima donna to me (though not as bad as the Juilliard witch!!)

I seem to remember that from the first season...I don't think they all three get a big part, I think they just sort of show up for an episode, and it's the one who wins that gets the big multi-week gig.

The fact that Jessamyn just hates Natalie's guts so openly really makes me like her a lot ;) That said, I don't know that she's the greatest actress. I think she's got a great look, and I think she'd be a good kind of maybe bad-girl character but she definitely needs some more professional kind of training sometimes. But the weird thing

I wonder if Dyon did mention her crush on Ryan to the other judges? Actually, I sorta found Dyon's attitude while she was guest judging to be kind of snotty especially given that she did so badly at the challenge herself, (but then I think about what Natalie probably would have said in her place and it doesn't seem so bad anymore though.)

I'm also wondering why the judges seem to love Lauretta so much all of a sudden. I mean I like her, but I don't think her performances have suddenly stepped up a level or anything?

I think Lauretta is really different and would be a fun change to throw into the cast on ATWT. i think that's why they're showing her so much. I don't know if I could stand her for 13 weeks though! maybe if she calmed down a bit? i mean i love her energy, but this is soap acting people!

i agree. i think Jessamyn will be cut. my vote is Lauretta and Ryan, STILL! they both did really well. i loved watching them with gwen and will. now i can see how these kids will look on ATWT.

Okay, I have to take it back a little about Lauretta - she was really good on this one - her emotional reactions were so believable. So maybe I was wrong about her. And I loved watching them all with Will & Gwen, it was really cool watching them interact with a real actor instead of just each other.

I think Ryan and Lauretta will be F3, and it'll come down to Dyon vs. Jessamyn. Personally, I just like Jessamyn but I also think she's a goner, if only because even though I think Dyon has been sort of lackluster and boring lately, she's won some of the challenges before and she was really really good a few episodes back.

I had a lot of trouble watching the most recent episode...I had to turn the sound on my speakers all the way up. Did anyone else have that problem???

Anyway...I think Lauretta was robbed not to be in the final three, but I hope her two-week stint gives her a start in the business.

I'm interested to see how the final 3 do...I don't really have a favorite.

And I swear, no matter how bad I need it, I will NEVER buy Lipitor.

a new episode went up today, on a monday! it's episode 13. nothing happens. the 3 of them just go to Goutman's apartment for dinner. kind of funny. i'm guessing there will still be an episode tomorrow about Jessamyn since her scene will be on ATWT tomorrow.

I could not believe what Goutman did with the food, that was so wrong! (However, I will admit that I laughed a lot, especially at Ryan, who is really hilarious. And has super-nice arms, incidentally.)

I thought Jessamyn did a pretty good job with her scene, what did y'all think? And apparently Dyon is going to be playing a mugger or something? What's Ryan's role gonna be, anyone know?

i was unimpressed with Jessamyn and Dyon. Moreso with Dyon because she did worse than I was expecting her too - the voice, the posture, the nervousness...but Jessamyn did about what I expected.

I voted Ryan as well. I think that he's the one that's been most consistent throughout the competition and hes' the one I'd most like to see on the show (he's such a cutie.)

in response to Lauretta being the best...i agree. but, she's also 34, whereas ryan is only 23, so she has over a decade more experience. if ryan is as good as he is now, with the potential goutman talked about, imagine where he'll be when he is lauretta's age.
