Dick won HOH

Nominations are tomorrow afternoon
Food comp tomorrow.

Everyone is eating - the food restrictions are lifting so tons of chewing and slurp sounds. The have pizza and chocolate milk and tons of other stuff.

Dick did a speech thanking everyone for their votes and said it was going to be a much easier lighter week. He said a lot of people in the house "get him" and that's rare.

They asked him when he is going to read the letter from his Mom, he said later, and then he'll let Daniele read it. I guess his Mom is religious and very different from him but they did a retreat together and it really improved their relationship.

Amber did her Fran Drescher voice and Dick told her if she does that again he's putting her on the block.

Jameka and Dani say they are already full. It doesn't take as much food to make them full after a week on slop.

Dick then tells Dustin how he handled himself so well with Joe in the house. They all agree that he really handled things well.

Jen is walking around in a towel. I guess her uni-twit restriction is over.

Kail is being very quiet.

Jen's got a big blob of mayo or something at the corner of her mouth. She keeps pulling her towel up because it keeps slipping. Last night during their game of houseguest family fued they asked who would pose for Playboy and Jen said she would not. Dick called "bullshit" and said she's been showing nip slips the whole time - for free on the internet, so why wouldn't she pose for Playboy for money.

Daniele just brought up the Chenbot's remarks about Amber crying a lot.

Jessica comments that she bets she gained 9lbs in water since being on the slop diet.

They are all just eating and mm'ing and stuff... not a lot of real interesting talk. If I weren't typing this stuff I'd be drifting off. That might be my cue to hit the sack.

Dick went into the backyard alone and was cheering a bit.

Nick went outside to join him. Dick said no one will be surprised by what he plans to do. Nick says he has a lot to tell Dick that will really surprise him. I'm guessing it's the Mrs. Robinson stuff.

They both talked about how nice it will be to not have to talk "game" for a few days.

Now they are ripping on Zach and how he is so untrustworthy. They said the moment Dick won - Zach was trying to maneuver.

Nick told Dick how Zach said Daniele is playing him. Nick gives Dick his speech about how he isn't there for the money but that he's there to throw a monkey wrench in the plans of people who aren't good. He said in the end he would throw it to Daniele so she could win it. Same speech different day.

Zach has now joined them. They quickly change the topic to how Joe was talking shit before he left. They talk about how much nicer it will be not to have to sift through Joe's b.s.

OOOH now Pirates talk, and Dick confirmed they are making a 4th Pirates of the Carribbean and that Johnnie will be back and so will Keith Richards. They said Keira and Orlando are done.

If they re-use Keith then Dick will be back as his stand in. And then they cut to those annoying damned commercials for Weeds and Meadowlands - it's like they DON'T want people to watch those shows.

We return to people in the kitchen cleaning up and Jen is still in her towel holding it on. Get dressed dumbass!

Back to the three guys in the yard. Dick is saying how surprised he was to win HOH. Nick says this is the best week of reality tv ever. He said it was a big time retribution week.

The other night the girls said Zach looks like Shrek - Zach is whining about being an ogre.

If anyone really cares, the letter from Dick's mom said (with additional commentary from moi in parentheses):

"This has been a lot harder for me than I ever thought it would be. (cue "aww" sound from Jessica) I didn't think I would react like this. It must be a lot more than you expected. I prayed this would be a good fun experience, and also learning and growing time. This sure is different! (and I know there's a real exclamation point there because Dick actually said "exclamation point") When you get back we'll both have a lot of stories to tell each other. I miss you already and love you a lot. Love you, mom."

Again, cue Jessica's generic "aww" sound. She then calls it "to the point"

Zach tries to be Dr. Phil by saying that he's seeing a bit more of ED's compassionate side....whatev

Kail just barged in on the convo between Amber and Dustin. She clearly can't take a cue as to where she isn't welcome. Amber and Dustin were NOT talking strategy then she butts in with "what is your definition of an alliance? Is it a) a best friend like Jen and I (WTF?!) like you two (meaning Amber and Dustin) like Daniele and Nick? Is it a verbal committment? or is it a handshake?"

Dustin says it can be all three. "It can be an agreement between two or more people who aren't even friends, but as long as it's an agreement."

This is all too much for my brain because I'm studying for the bar exam and BBAD is my excuse not to study sometimes. Now I'm thinking about legal ramifications as to what constitutes an alliance and how I'll attack such a question on the bar exam (is an oral promise enough? must it be reduced to writing and attested to by several witnesses?)...sadly, I'm not taking the California bar, so this point is now moot (or moo, if you're Joey Tribiani)

Ok, Kail was asking because she was concerned w/ the politics of alliances. She shook hands with the three boys (Nick, Mike and Zach), but Jen is her best friend (which I STILL don't understand- what do they have in common?!). So it looks like she's faltering with her original alliance

Crap, more bar exam freak out: can you break an alliance simply by abandoning the alliance? must a step be taken in furtherance of abandoning the alliance, like not voting with the majority, in order for the alliance to be broken?

So basically, that's what Kail is freaking out about. She is wondering about who has priority in terms of friendships/alliances

Dick is now in the HOH room - he read his letter and sounded kinda sniffly. Oops, that was fast, now he's heading downstairs with it. He's coughing a lot. Gosh, I wish he'd quit smoking.

Daniele is in the DR, I guess he wanted to give her the letter. Oh Dick is reading the letter out loud now. His Mom says this is a lot harder to watch than she expected. But it's a sweet letter overall. I am sure we can pull the detail off Morty's later.

They all agree it was a sweet letter. He gets a hug from Amber. Surprisingly she doesn't cry. They talk about how happy his Mom and son must be right now with Dick as HOH. How they are probably celebrating.

Kail tells Dick she wants to talk to him later. I guess she is going to start working him.

Dick wanders through the bathroom and Jen is in there - she tells him she thinks their toothbrushes made out last night, they were in the same drawer. He says he doesn't mind as long as she hasn't been using it to clean the dust out of her cameltoe. Eric like the use of the word "dust".

Dick is now outside reading his letter to Jessica, Zach, Dustin and Nick. The letter is addressed to "Richard" he says his Mom is the only one who calls him that.

A lot of "awww's" from the gang. Zach asks if Dick will change his stripes when he leaves the house. He says he sees a lot more of his compassionate side. Dick said he always had that side - but it takes a while for him to warm up.

Ok - next commecial break I am TOTALLY going to bed.

Kail in the kitchen cornering Mike. She says Jen told her that Mike and Kail are going up. She then tells him she has a story to tell him later. She then says that she saw Nick and Dustin talking and then Nick and Evil talking. She says that she knows Nick is not in their alliance anymore.

I guess she didn't catch the hint with the 10-0 vote that she is on the outs with everyone. twit.

Mike sorta blows her off saying he is not sure what to tell her. Daniele is out of the DR and so Mike and Kail quit their whispering.

Daniele and Kail talk about how they feel so much better now that they can eat. They were feeling very light headed the last day or so.

They are full - but plan to eat again in another 2 hours.

Fortunately, after the commercial break (and damn that Michael C. Hall on Dexter looks cute- as a brief aside, I saw him on Broadway in Cabaret...shirtless...totally worth the money)...anyway, after the break, Kail took a hint and left Dustin & Amber to their gossiping

Aww, it's so sweet to see Dick & Daniele bonding! Then Daniele had to ruin it by doing math...she started to explain how she came to her number for the final question to the HOH competition (i.e. how long Jen had possession of the unitard)...so she starts doing some long winded word problem about days and half days...then the feed switches :-)

Fortunately, BB knows that we don't do word problems...

It's just like Mrs. Divitz's class, there was like always a word problem. Like, there's a guy in a rowboat going X miles, and the current is going like, you know, some other miles, and how long does it take him to get to town? It's like, 'Who cares? The house seems to be sitting as a group in the living room telling the wierdest life stories. Zach first about live porn and Mike now and I am so shocked words are coming out of his mouth that I can F***ing hear my mind is not processing the words coming out of his mouth.

Dustin is telling a Halloween 2006 story... he used his brothers ID (he was only 20) and he was working 55 hours a week and going to school. He was wearing a skin tight black velvet floor length blazer. He went to a party and on the way back he fell asleep on the Subway and woke up to police pulling him off the train and the cops ended up caling him a faggot, stole his money and credit cards, jammed his head into the car and cuffed him. They did not believe his brothers ID was not his and arrested him as Derrick, his brother... the cops ran over his phone and then they took him in to run prints. he is still demanding he is not the guy on the id in his pocket.....because his brother has a record of public urination...and under age drinking... somehow he was stripped to underwear hand cuffed to the wall. He ended up peeing on the wall because they would not let him free to go to the actual bathroom. Finally his prints cleared and all charges were dropped later in court.. but they still called him Derrick and he had to ride home with no shoes in only jeans and the blazer with an empty wallet.

Last night they dared Dick to streak to the pool, he wouldn't do it because he didn't want to scar Daniele any further. Instead they pressured Zach to do it so he did. He was trying to wait until midnight so Showtime would be off the air but they misjudged the time.

Everyone went to the patio, they counted down and Zach stripped and ran and jumped into the pool. Everyone laughed, grabbed his clothes and all the towels and ran inside and locked the sliding door. He got out and covered his package with his hands and went to the dryer and pulled out a towel. THEN the Showtime feed cut out.

Dani has sure opened up now that she is hanging so much in the HOH. I think Dick has made a difference by not sleeping in the HOH room. Some how it doesn't 'seperate' him from the masses.

I bought a new speaker system for my computer today while I was getting the proper hangers for girl child. They rock guys, I can hear every whisper so far.

They tease Jessica a lot about how Zach likes her. He used to hang out a lot with Carol before she went. They say a lot about how he is a perve and touches the girls too much. Everyone is adament they want him out before sequester.

Jameka just mentioned the ants. The BB house has had ant problems since season 1. You would think they could fix that.

Jameka is saying the LNC (Late Night Crew) is not feeling funny tonight, they can't be funny on command. I guess she's directing that at us SHowtime watchers.

3 minutes left - it's been dull tonight. Of course, it's a weekend, I can stay up and watch live. They are more fun on nights when I have big meetings the next day.

He was tenderly touching her face, rubbing his knuckles down her jaw line and they were whispering in each others ears for over an hour-- but then they whould stare longingly into each others eyes only to go back to the ears. The camera was zooming in to catch more but every time they did it made the scene to dark. I think they put lips to skin last night.

Interesting, I missed this argument. But I did see Dustin and Dick talking/ kind of arguing earlier. Dick said everyone was mad at him tonight. Daniele is very upset, chatting with amber in the bathroom.

Tonight was Jameka's birthday party. Apparently she got a card from her family and was upset that she had to read it out loud b/c no one else got a card from their families. Dick and Dustin were arguing about this for some reason? I don't know. When they were arguing Dustin was wearing a pointy happy birthday hat, an eye patch, and a giant fake mustache. It's hard to argue seriously when you look like a porn pirate.

Everyone's being annoying now. I should have been watching four hours ago. All the activity apparently happened earlier tonight, so I'm recapping what I read from another site.

Nick and Dustin were in the HOH for a while, Jen and Zach came up and Dustin left. Nick Jen and Zach were up there for a few minutes, nothing was discussed at all. Dick got mad at Nick b/c he thought Nick, Zach and Jen were discussing strategy in the HOH. Dick told Jen, Zach, and Amber separately to stay out of the HOH if he wasn't in there (this made Amber cry, shocker).

Dick and Nick yelled at each other in the backyard, trust issues, Nick is mad Daniele doesn't trust him, he is there to protect her (what???).

So then Dick and Daniele go to the HOH. Daniele tells him to stop talking down to people and trying to intimidate them. Daniele cries, they yell at each other, etc.

Dick confronted Amber in the storage room about her being in the hammock with Nick earlier. Amber questioned why Dick is always questioning when she is talking to people, trying to control her, etc. More crying.

Then Daniele and Amber eat some ice cream in the bathroom and discuss how horrible Dick is. Then Daniele and Nick are schmoopy on the hammock and Nick tells Daniele she will end up trusting him before they leave the house. And now we're caught up.

Dick is missing from the bedroom scene. Dani and Nikc are in the back yard complaining about Dick and how he is so mouthy.

Nick has has an argument in the back yard with Dick but I missed it and can only imagine it was about Dani. D and N feel everyone else is afraind to go in the back yard and want to stay away from Nick so he can cool down.

Dick must be in HOH alone and with four feeds you sould think they would let us see that but they tend to put only two camera angles on two seperate places and thats what we get.

The outside two just came ni and I can only think Dick will now run out to smoke.. he must be watching everyone on the monitors in HOH, but how would I know that?

Ha, Zach is standing in line to use that bathroom.

Nick says he is going to bed, he seems to have blown a few gaskets today and needs rest.

Everyone is eating Jamekas birthday ice cream and she didn't get any. Finally Eric brought her the last of the ice cream before the ppigs finished it off.

They just said Dick has been in the Diary Room. He has been there at least 30 minutes as I have not found him anywhere in all this time.

WEll, well, well. Dick has been released! Yes, he is out of the diary room and the first thing he did was seek out Dani to tell her he loves her and trusts her.

Nick, after jumping in Zach's shit because Zach wanted to go to bed and Nick was using the bedroom as his confessional with Jameka, went to the Panty room to apologize to Zach. He filled Zach in a bit, and they both decided Dick is being a Dick. Zach left to go to bed and the scene faded with Nick hugging the industrial refrigerator.

Nick has gone to bed and Dani is telling him bedtime stories.

Dick went outside to smoke (surprise there) and gave himself a pep talk about not making himself a target, not acting stupid, ect. Then he told production he could hear their walkie talkies and they needed to fix that shit.

I do believe Dick will now be sleeping alone in the HOH and going home before Kail and Jen if he doesn't scoop his shit back into a box, hes lost it and I don't think he will recover because the young are going to eat the old bag of hot air soon. Dick has begun thinking everyone is plotting against him and is untrustworthy.

Now Dick is on the big chair in the bathroom with Jameka whispering (I love my new speakers) about STILL thinking Jen, Zach, and Nick where plotting against him right in his own HOH room. He is sowing seeds of discord and I honestly think it is going to get his ass kicked ASAP.

Dustin is stilll wearing the hat and mustach quietly talking with Amber, the boy needs help!

Dustin Amber round beds. Dustin decides he wants him, Amber, Eric, and Jameka to be the final four. Amber says the two of them are the only true alliance. Yes, and the straight girl - gay guy BFF super alliance always gets them to the end in the BB house.

Amber says she has a little crush on Eric. Dustin says all Eric's top teeth are caps. Dustin has a little crush on Eric too, b/c he thinks Eric is the most geniune person in the house. We all recognize the irony, right?

And she was so polite to Dick while he trashed people in his continued effort to spread distrust. But I think she must have been looking at his pointy beard and his red horns in his hiar thinking "devil get away from me".

Dick went into a room where Dustin and Amber where talking and stated he was looking for Nick. Then he searched and asked until it was confirmed Nick was sleeping. Now Dick has cornered Jessica in the Hot Tub and is asking if Nick is hammered. He is admitting to her he feels like he is becoming a conspiracy driven, distrustful freak, (yeah, now he understands how I feel).

I think devil is going insane and it is fun to watch.
He is now locking the HOH and not letting anyone use the key! (way to gain friends and influence people).
