 I heard the spoiler that someone would die but totally forgot about it and didn't even know which episode it would happen in until I read this subject heading: "Next to die.....11/1 episode." It's no biggie... but I prefer my Lost spoiler free...

My bad Double L....I am Fresh Meat and not sure yet what the guidelines are and got all excited that I had a spoiler. Apologies...

If it makes any difference, after this past week's episode and knowing way too much going in I am trying to kick my spoiler habit all together - so far it's been hard but I'm making it! Only 6 more days to fight the urge...

So that all being said can you make sure to let Jampony know that he doesn't need to take me out back!?!?! :scared:

Don't worry about Jampony - SHE - isn't as scary as she sounded in that last post. She's no douchnozzle trust me. She's pretty understanding. You're new - you can't be expected to know all the rules - unless you are good at gasmosis.

No worries - we all make those gender mistakes - maybe if Jampony had a more feminine name :p something like Jampixie perhaps? JammerbellAPony? or PlanVoodoo?

Frakkin fabulous! Ever since the last RW/RR challenge I'm not fond of being referred to as fresh meat...and of course in the real world (pun intended!) I haven't been referred to as "fresh meat" in a lot of years!

Now, all I need to do is figure out how to give myself a frakkin avatar!

Jinger... Tinkerbell is bullshitting you big time. Make no mistake. I will seriously fuck up anyone who messes with my peeps.

Okay, now I'm messing with you! And no worries about the unintentional gender reassignment... I'm still calling you "it" until I see an avatar! (speaking of which... click here (http://forums.tvgasm.com/showthread.php?t=880))

PS: Tink... you win! I tried to respond to your avatar thread in a similar fashion, but you were so nice and polite in it and I wasn't feeling creative enough so I just canceled it.

Second... okay fine. I have issues with spelling and grammar. But that's my hang up -- I hope I don't make people feel bad about it.

Having him back could definitely suck, but if they handle it right, it could be interesting. Think of all the possibilities- did Michael really get away from the island or has he been sailing around in circles for the past few weeks? If he did get away, did he voluntarily come back (maybe for the same reason Jack has?) or was he somehow forced to return? Producers have been in talks with him for a while to return, so they definitely have something up their sleeves...

And besides the ridiculous changes puberty is making hard to ignore, I like Walt and the mystery surrounding him, so if Michael means more Walt, I'm happy.

i saw this on spoilerfix yesterday:
"During a show of AlloCiné Séries, Lost producer and director Jack Bender was asked if the format of Season 4 episodes would change to include flashfowards as used in the Season 3 finale. Here is the translation of is answer: No, there are no rules in Lost. Certain episodes will have flashfowards, others will have flashbacks, others will have neither. It will depend on the nature of the story, of what Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse will write with the writers. I know what the global approach of the upcoming season but the series will not really change: it will only depend of what the stories will be."

so it looks like we are going to be getting a grab bag next season. Hey - maybe the michael appearances will be only in the flash forwards.... that might work...

Michael coming back is really one of the worst things I can imagine for the nest season. It almost makes me not want to watch. I hate him. And not the kind of hate that he's a bad guy and I really want to watch to see him get what he's got coming to him, but the kind of hate that I want to turn my tv off and tear down my satellite dish when he comes on the screen.

I'm a little confused at all the Michael hate - back before the season finale people were all pissed that we didn't know what had happened to Michael - did he ever make it off the island? is he alive? etc etc.....and now that they brought him back everybody's still pissed. These poor Lost producers just can't win.

Ryabusa
07-30-2007, 02:26 AM
I personally never cared what happened to Michael as long as he was off my tv.

As for Ana Lucia, at least I found her awful acting and over the top (and unnecessary) bitchiness funny. Michael is a black hole of entertainment.

Michael- meh. I think I still have a bit of a soft spot for him left over from his days on Oz, but I'm indifferent about him returning to Lost, really. But it's KILLING ME- I really really really really need to know what's up with WAAAAAALT(!). He was a key part of the mystery in seasons 1 & 2 and that's never really been resolved.

Hmmmm, if they only appear in flash forwards next season, that would solve the whole puberty problem, too. I think whoever said that might be on to something there.

LonnaSaur
07-31-2007, 01:42 PM
Sorry to confuse you, Pek. I don't know about the rest of the folks out there but I never really cared what happened to Michael, or even Walt, really. By the time they started resolving the storyline of Walt's kidnapping and had him reunited with his dad I really didn't care about them anymore. I was just annoyed by them because the entire WAAAAAALT thing just went on for far too long. Out of Michael's entire family I am only invested in Vincent the Dog.

Several interesting bits of info that come out of SDCC -

“Michael's story is one of the most compelling for us because he undertook some very extreme actions to get his son off the island,” Cuse continued. “When he sailed off on that boat, everyone was very curious about what happened to him. In a series that deals a lot with the power of the island to be redemptive and what our characters have to do in order to be redeemed, we feel that Michael's story will be a really compelling part of the season.”

Lindelof added that Perrineau is rejoining the cast, not just coming back in flashbacks. “We're not going to tell you when, but it is going to be early in the fourth season and I think the way we're doing it will be fairly awesome,” he said.

In addition to Michael, other characters who viewers will learn more about include Libby, Rousseau, and possibly the Monster. It has been suggested online that Libby, whom Michael murdered in the second season, may have worked for the Dharma Initiative. “It is our intention to get to Libby's story this year,” Lindelof said, adding, “and you're not far off with some of your online speculations.”

“We would like to do Rousseau's flashback story. We're not sure if it will be this year or next year. There are important things revealed in her story that have to sync up with something else....” Lindelof said, before Cuse interrupted him with his bell.

Finally, Lindelof said that “what the Monster is, who made it, if anyone did, and what motivates it to do the things it does will hopefully be definitively answered,” though whether he meant in the upcoming season or in subsequent seasons was unclear.

“Ultimately, some things about the world of ‘Lost' will remain mysteries,” Cuse said. “That's the nature of life and the nature of the world that we live in and the world that we have created on the show. So I can't imagine that when we come to the conclusion, every question and every mystery will satisfyingly be answered. Some mysteries are OK. But obviously we will be getting satisfying endings. It's not going to be ten seconds of blank tape.”

Keoni
08-02-2007, 03:33 PM
And this -

The panel wrapped up with a short clip of a Dharma Initiative orientation video that the producers said was “discovered in a vault in Norwick, Norway.” In the clip, a scientist who identified himself as Dr. Edgar Hallowax held up a large white rabbit with the number 15 on it and said that Station 6, or the “Orchid” is not a botanical research station, as previously stated. The footage was choppy and at one point a frame appeared that read, “God loves you as he loved Jacob.” Suddenly a second rabbit appeared, panic ensued, and the video started over.

Hey Tink,
There was more to the article. Here's the link - http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/newsitem.cgi?id=11461

So do you think Michael will show up on the island A) having never left the island, only sailing around the island in circles or B) show up on the rescue vessel that they signaled at the end of season 3? Or something entirely else?

Keoni
08-02-2007, 03:47 PM

And I agree a Rouseau flashback would be very cool.

TinkerbellAPixie

This sounds awesome, especially about Libby-who I really liked, and Rousseau, who needs some more background info. Today my fiance was telling me he met with a client who turned out to be "a French chick" and I started giggling and thinking of Rousseau. When does Lost start again? In the fall, or do we have to wait until January? Dammit, I hope not!

I enjoy reading the spoilers, but I never read the weekly Tuesday synopsis of the episodes! I will, however, post them for anyone who would like to read them, and make sure to put DANGER, DO NOT READ UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE COMPLETEY SPOILED warnings on the major spoilers and the synopsis'.

I will update this thread as the spoilers/YouTube trailers and ads come in. I will put everything that is out there in this thread.

There are some that are out now, I am now off on my spoiler hunt, and will return shortly with a few. :D

I will try my best to make sure to let everyone know if spoilers are minor, moderate, or MAJOR in each post, so you can choose what you would like to read or not read.

Also, when I post a link to the source of the spoiler, it is most likely from a Spoiller website, so be careful wandering around in there.

ABC's "Lost" Begins Work in Hawaii: Upcoming Year Scarier Than Ever
By Jim Roberts
Sep 10, 2007

The ABC television series "Lost" debuted September of 2004 and quickly became an overnight success as millions of viewers tuned in to find out what happened to the "doomed" passengers of Oceanic flight 815. It lost its way and angered viewers after huge breaks in the series run made it nearly impossible to care and showing way too many recap shows didn't help.

ABC's "Lost" Begins Work in Hawaii: Upcoming Year Scarier Than Ever (Wenn)

But it did make a rebound last season in the final shows. And now Emmy-nominated "Lost" actor Michael Emerson is spilling the beans that this season will be busier than ever. According to the Hollywood Exclusive shooting is fired up again in Hawaii, and things are looking bad (or at least scarier) for the island dwellers.

***

According to syndicated writers Marilyn Beck and Stacy Jenel Smith the series' forthcoming episodes "are going to be scarier" than anyone seen on the island so far. That's the word from Emmy-nominated "Lost" actor Michael Emerson -- and that's saying something, considering Emerson's character seemed to personify evil last season.

Emerson -- who plays Ben Linus, leader of the castaways known as "The Others" -- reminds that at the end of last season's finale, Jack Sawyer (Matt Fox) was trying to signal a boat offshore in hopes of being rescued despite Ben's dire warnings that "it could be the death of everyone on the island."

***

According to the report, Emerson predicts there will be yet another shift in power between the combatant inhabitants on the hit ABC drama when it returns midseason. Although he notes that none of the cast knows for sure what's going to happen this season, "things tend to go from bad to worse on this show, so it's fair to assume anyone else who arrives on the island couldn't be a happy event."

LOL, this is not my typo, this guy actually called Jack Shepard 'Jack Sawyer', haha

Lost Filming - Our First Sightings
Thanks to Jacobe for the following. If it is indeed a Sawyer Centric episode this will make 22 people out of the 1000 we have in our prediction league happy :)

I live in Kalihi, Hawaii. Yesterday, LOST was filming on N King Street by the Discount Store and Tamashiro Market, for those that live in Hawaii.

I was able to spot Josh Halloway (Sawyer). So I'm assuming a Sawyer flashback. OR maybe a flash-forward??

The scene involved a car being chased by two police cars, leading to the first car to jump a ramp and crash.

That's all I was able to see.

Sorry, I wasn't able to record or take pictures.

TRUE : Matthew Fox not currently filming
Does this mean that we won't be seeing Jack in the Premiere or at the very least it seems that it won't be a Jack centric episode

I know that Matthew Fox is not filming, yet, as he'll be in Berlin for one more week working on "Speed Racer".

How do I know this you ask?

OK, I only heard it third hand but from a reliable source - my wife!

This makes sense. Matthew himself said in an interview that he would be in Germany for three months filming Speed Racer. Filming began in June, so it would make sense that he has to be there until the end of August.

I guess that means that either they'll film the Lost scenes involving him later, or he won't be in the first episode at all. Maybe episode one will be focusing on the group at the beach only and they won't get back to the radio tower before episode two.

Considering the time they have until the episodes are aired, I guess they'll have all the time in the world to shoot the scenes with Matthew and include them later. That's what they did in the pilot, when Evi wasn't on set because she didn't have her visa yet.

LOL, love the Season of Fox-Lite comment! If I have to sit through another episode like Stranger in a Strange Land, I might have to just shoot myself. Except for Giacchino's beautiful music score at the end of the episode, that was AMAZING!

Jorge and Lance Reddick Filming
Thanks to Ryan, our man in Hawaii, for the following filming report. Does this mean we're getting an early Hurley flashback? Is Lance Riddick a doctor at the SRMHI? any Libby connections?

Report from a friend I sent over there (as I'm stuck at work - bother!). Jorge Garcia and (apparently) Lance Reddick at the Laniakea YWCA in downtown Honolulu, the mental institution location. Reddick had a doctor's briefcase. More details if and when available!

THIS BLOG CONTAINS SPOILERS DO NOT READ IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE SPOILED

So Michael Emerson has broken his silence about S4 and gives us some interesting tidbits about the upcoming season...and also gives us his own opinion on the direction of the show...the info is from a conversation with Marilyn Beck and Stacy Jenel Smith of Hollywood Exclusive...

Here are the highlights of the article and the full article is below the info...

1) The New Arrivals will be much worse than the Others
2) Expect another Power Shift between inhabitants of the island
3) Jacob's "powers" will be used with Locke and Ben will most likely NOT be Jacob's helper any more
4) Be afraid

Full Article
LOOK OUT: The "Lost" troupe has just started shooting again in Hawaii, and things are looking bad — in a good way — for the island dwellers, whose show sputtered a little bit but found its mojo again toward the end of last season.

The newcomers on the series' forthcoming episodes "are going to be scarier" than anyone seen on the island so far. That's the word from Emmy-nominated "Lost" actor Michael Emerson — and that's saying something, considering Emerson's character seemed to personify evil last season.

Emerson — who plays Ben Linus, leader of the castaways known as "The Others" — reminds that at the end of last season's finale, Jack Sawyer (Matt Fox) was trying to signal a boat offshore in hopes of being rescued despite Ben's dire warnings that "it could be the death of everyone on the island."

Now Emerson predicts there will be yet another shift in power between the combatant inhabitants on the hit ABC drama when it returns midseason. Although he notes that none of the cast knows for sure what's going to happen this season, "things tend to go from bad to worse on this show, so it's fair to assume anyone else who arrives on the island couldn't be a happy event."

Emerson says changes are afoot for Ben, too. The mythical Jacob, whom Ben consistently maintained was the real leader of "The Others," was finally seen briefly last season — "If you looked close and had TiVo," quips Emerson. "He was this big, shadowy dude. I don't know if we're going to see a personification of Jacob this season, but I think, as the source of power on the island, we have him on our hands. He's that force or power that is important now, and it looks like he or it has chosen John Locke (Terry O'Quinn). So it looks to me like Ben is no longer the anointed manager of the island. It looks like Jacob only has one helper at a time, and it might not be Ben anymore, so Ben is vulnerable now."

Be afraid. Be very, very afraid.

More Behind the Scene Photos
Big thanks to Justin for the following great photos.

As stated on the spoiler boards, I do have some photos from where I was lucky enough to have been on location at the YWCA where some filming from (evidently) the season premiere had some scenes filmed.

All along Richards St. we noticed the LOST vans and trucks. As I made my way into the YWCA, first thing I noticed was a man in a robe and pj's reading a paper. Wasn't til later I would put it together that he was most likely an extra for the set. I walked around, trying to see where they were likely filming. Saw some of the crew in the courtyard chatting and lunching. After I sat down inside for a while, and talking with a LOST crewman, I saw which room was being filmed in and, you guessed it, it was the Santa Rosa mental hospital set. While recovering from jet lag last night I watched the Hurley-centric episodes and tried to pick up on details from the sets. I saw Lance Reddick enter and exit the scene several times as they kept shooting takes of the same scene. Nothing quite so exciting as a LOST fan to hear "ROLLING!" just one room over, knowing you'll be watching this on your tv in a few months. While munching on a donut I was given by a woman trying to get rid of all the things on the cast's food cart (cool experience), I waited on what I'd hoped would be Jorge to come out. While noticing the extras leave, I saw a woman looking strangely like L. Scott Caldwell (Rose Henderson of Rose & Bernard fame). Can't be sure, but that would make for an interesting connection if Rose was in the institution. After all, why would they have a woman who LOOKS like Rose, but isn't. LOST wouldn't try to throw us off would they? Heh.

Finally Jorge walked out looking pretty exhausted. I approached him and we talked for a minute after which he kindly agreed to a photo op. He recalled Ryan Ozama (who I'd had the good chance to have lunch with the day before) as being one of the first with a LOST podcast. He seemed anxious to get his institution robe off, as it was pretty warm out. It will definitely be interesting to see what insights this scene gives us. LOST always keeps us guessing.

Aloha!

~WARNING~ Minor and moderate/high spoilers....

(The guy said he posted a link but I can't find it, looking now....)

here are new spoilers:

1) Mira Furlan and L. Scott Caldwell spotted in Hawaii

Thanks to Neil for the following.

Just wanted to send this along to you... A poster called speed3 over at hawaiithreads posted that he / she spotted Mira Furlan (Danielle) and L. Scott Caldwell (Rose) having dinner at a shopping center in Hawaii this past Saturday (8 September), which could only mean that we will see Rose and Danielle in some of the first episodes of season 4.

Here is the original post and link:

Hi, new to Hawaii Threads and looking forward to catching a Lost shoot again (last year in Kapuhulu, I saw them film the scene where Christian Shepard and Ana Lucia speak in a car in Australia). Anyway, my wife and I saw L. Scott Caldwell ("Rose") and Mira Furlan ("Danielle") eating dinner at Phuket Thai in the McCully Shopping Center this past Saturday. I spoke briefly with them just to confirm their identities, as I wasn't absolutely sure it was really them ("Danielle" looks a bit different out of character and "Rose" looked a lot younger in person - and it was dark in there).

2)From pzarquon (Ryan) on the Fuselage.

Just in from a relaxing morning in the lush green forests of Nuuanu Valley...

"LOST" was filming along a small streambed at Judd Trail, up Old Nuuanu Pali Road. A perfectly LOST-y jungle location.

All the action was out of sight, but it was good to see some familiar faces on the crew. I can only tell you that there was a major confrontation (I could hear yelling echo through the forest), and can rattle of the list of actors I spotted. But I think you'll agree, this simple list alone is enough to get one's heart aflutter. This was a major shoot!

Jorge Garcia (who was kind enough to stop and chat), Terry O'Quinn, Mira Furlan (in a nice checkerboard flannel-type shirt), Josh Holloway (who I believe was the aggressor), Michael Emerson (who appeared to have been on the losing end of a fight), and Emilie DeRavin. Of course there was at least one baby being carried around. Names overheard but not seen include Evangeline Lilly, "Carla," "Alex," "Blake," and "Fuzzy" (likely stunt pro Robert Moody).

During our brief chat, Jorge again expressed a great deal of excitement and anticipation for the first few scripts of Season 4, comparing it to Season 1 in richness and mind-blowing moments. He also recalled meeting friends of mine yesterday at the "Santa Rosa" location, summarizing the shoot with a long, delicious, "Whew!"

I think it's safe to say fans are at least as excited about the return of "LOST."

3) More details from Ryan on the fuselage

It really sounds like Sawyer is maintaining his darth side.

Indeed. To put my rambling first post more succinctly, I gather Sawyer was hollerin' mad, and gave Ben a good beating. True, Ben was smacked up quite a bit already, but the... make up job I saw made it look pretty fresh. Also, if Fuzzy is the stuntguy, I gather he was standing in for Michael Emerson for some of the more physical stuff.

Minor update... my friend D.K. checked in later in the day and saw Matthew Fox. He was in a scene with Evangeline and another male character, described as "skinny" and and sporting a "D" name.

We know the answer to that question, but the only way to tell that story is through another character's flashback, and that character would have to be another character on the show who is not among the beach dwellers. LOST Casting News Update
Current mood: happy
Category: Movies, TV, Celebrities

**DO NOT READ IF YOU CONSIDER CASTING INFO AS SPOILERS**

Hey All,
As many of you know LOST has added several new cast members to the show and the lone actress is Rebecca Mader who is an english actress and was rumored to possibly play the character of Charlotte. Of course that has not been confirmed yet but Mader had an interview with a UK radio station (Star FM) and a fan sent in some questions for her to answer.

The only thing that was confirmed was that she is a character that is ON THE ISLAND so she is not part of any FB/FF yet....and no word on if she gets to the island via Naomi's Freighter....??

Here is the small snippet from the interview with her answering some of the questions about LOST....

Enjoy the clip and namaste...

Hey Tania, thanks for posting this -

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bTvAUVPyLI&mode=related&search=

I really liked the Orchid Station Orientation Film, with the "shift" of #15...as in time shift. That's kinda cool. Especially with the idea of flash forwards.
I'm so anxious for this show to start again.

Oh, no problem, Keoni, nice to meet you and I am going hiatus crazy over here, I can't wait either.

yea, and Dr. Marvin Candle changed his name again, from Candle to Dr. Mark Wickman to now yet another new name, haha, Dharma was soooo messing with people.

I have read a spoiler for season 4's opening episode regarding the flashback or flashforward.

Origianally people thought it was going to be a Sawyer episode, then it changed to a Hurley episode, now apparantly there will be multiple flashbacks.

Spoilerfix Updated 9/17/07

09/16 - I've had permission [to reveal] and confirmation from a number of very good sources that the Season 4 premiere of Lost will feature multiple character flashbacks and/or flashforwards. This is something a number of people have speculated about, including myself, due to conflicting nature of the centric episode spoilers for [the] episode. We initially thought this was a Sawyer-centric episode then I got confirmation that it would definitely feature Hurley, well now it seems that both were correct. So far we can speculate that it will feature Sawyer and Hurley but could also feature other characters. Source: Lost Spoilers

MAJOR LOST Casting News

Category: Movies, TV, Celebrities

**DO NOT READ IF YOU CONSIDER CASTING NEWS AS SPOILERS**

Ok many of you have kept upto speed on all of the previous casting information that has been released for Season 4, well today we get some more great (IMO) news...!!

This is defintely a spoiler for those of you who do not read spoilers so be careful....

However, for those of you that read my earlier spoiler posts already know this information, but it is now official....

Libby will be returning to the cast of LOST and be back this season....!!! That is right the mysterious Libby played by Cynthia Watros has been confirmed to be returning for "multiple episodes" in more of Desomond's Flashbacks....!!

Here are the details of a little chat that producer Carlton Cuse had with TV Guide....

OK, so technically, the ABC hit isn't bringing Cynthia Watros' short-lived character back from the dead. But Lost executive producer Carlton Cuse confirms to me exclusively that the actress will be playing Hurley's dearly departed sweetheart again this season for multiple episodes, presumably in more of Desmond's flashbacks.

"She'll be in enough of the show for us to fill in the missing pieces of her story," says Cuse. "We could not be more pleased. Cynthia is a smart and engaging actor, and [executive producer] Damon [Lindelof] and I have some very cool parts of her story left to tell."

ooooh, I'm so glad they're addressing Libby's story this season, and it sounds like it will be a good one! :D

**NEW LOST Podcast**
Current mood: happy
Category: Movies, TV, Celebrities

Hey All,
So with Sept. 22nd being a special 3 year anniversary for LOST, the producers decided to release a surprise Podcast for all of us to enjoy....

Now typically there are minor spoilers in podcasts, because the producers usually answer fan questions about the previous episode and go over what is panned for an upcoming episode. So, since we are in a hiatus, they do discuss some minor things about the upcoming season and I am placing a spoiler warning because I have not listened to the whole thing yet...

However, I posted a summary of the podcast that I got from DarkUFO, so if you do not want to listen you can read the summary below...

One last thing, this is the first time I have embedded a podcast in the blog so if there are some problems let me know....so enjoy and namaste...

~WARNING, MAJOR possible spoilers~ Not sure if these are legit, a few may be, seems like some, if not most, are spoiler-theories, not solid spoilers.
The ODI guy won't give his source, and to me, no source named means 'no linkie, no trustie'. But that is just my educated guess.
I think most are just rumors, but some may be real, so be careful what you read!

**Latest Set of LOST Possible Spoilers**
Current mood: ecstatic
Category: Movies, TV, Celebrities

**THIS POST CONTAINS SEVERAL POSSIBLE SPOILERS**

Ok all of you spoiler lovers....

I know it has been awhile since I have posted a set of potential spoilers from my source, but I think the wait has been well worth it....this latest set of potential spoilers is quite interesting...there were a few items that my source sent me and I had to clarify a few things with them before posting these...

Now I have been getting some flack recently on some other forums and fansites because I choose to keep my source confidential and they feel I am pulling things out of my ass. However, as all of you loyal readers know, I am a fan just like the rest of you posting whatever I read and get from various sources...

Some sites have posted my info in their rumors section which is cool and for me it is just interesting to see as we move forward how many of these are confirmed....I trust my source and only time will tell us what was true or not. Also as some of you have seen some of the items that I posted back in June, such as Libby returning, were recently confirmed by the producers.

So if you are worried about being spoiled this is you last warning........

=====================
POSSIBLE SPOILERS BELOW
=====================

As always my opinion is after the dashed lines in orange:

1) Dominic Monaghan & Maggie Grace are in talks to come back for more flashbacks

-- There you go Charlie and Shannon lovers...!! There was a rumor about Dom last week floating around net so it seems this could really be true...but I am sure they will be in FBs or Visions....unless we are talking about them coming back for Season 7....you know zombie season....

2) Aaron Littleton will be seen in a flash forward

-- Wow...Aaron in a FF..!? Now this one is crazy because I was just joking with several of you because of the Lost Fantasy League and if this is true and happens this season well I know I will rack up some serious points..!!

3) The Rousseau Flashback is on hold untll later in the season or next but she will be seen in 2 other FBs that will give us fans more of a reason not to trust her

-- Hmmm....well the producers did tell us at Comicon that few other things had to play out before we get more of her story so not two much of a surprise but I definitely feel she has been lying about several things...

4) We will get another episode that will detail what DHARMA has been doing on the island long before Ben and his father came to the island.

-- Anything to do with Dharma I love and this is also not too much of a shock because the producers have said we will get more to the story so it looks like this is true....and info pre Ben...now that is sweet...!!

5) The person inside the coffin is not Locke but another castaway...also disregard the newspaper article in the finale...it will be rewritten....

-- WTF!? This is a little confusing and I know I posted that Kristin told me Locke was in the coffin, but she did tell me that the writers did change their minds about showing Locke....now my source is telling me that it is NOT Locke and the article will be rewritten...??? At this point I have no idea about this one.....as far as another castaway...well I guess any one at this point...??

6) The first episode with Michael will take place right after "Live Together, Die Alone"

-- Well this seems interesting....so it looks like we get to see right away what happened to Walt and Michael in his first episode back....no word on the format of the episode....but perhaps a Michael FB...??

7) A new love triangle will begin episode 4 (not involving jack or sawyer)

-- Oh geez....annnnother triangle....whhhyyy....?? Source would not confirm who...but maybe Des and Claire begin to get closer now that Chollie is gonzo...??

8) Two more Losties will die....a male and a female. The male will die on the island, while the female will die in a FLASHFORWARD via suicide

-- WTF...!! More death...!? As many of you know I am not a fan of death of main characters on this show, but this is just crazy....two deaths this season with one being during a FF....!! That is actually kind of sweet....but I hope no one else really dies....

Well thats all for now....these are some interesting potential spoilers what do you all think....??

Thanks for reading and namaste...

More info on the Commentary on the S3 DVD
Thanks to sawyerrules for the info/translation of some of the commentary on the S3 DVD which a number of lucky people in Brazil are starting to explore. This is a translation so some may not read that well. It is for Disk 2 I am assuming.

Here are the comments on DVD about "I DO":

There`s Kate and Sawyer who are two characters…There`s this obviously… there’s this incredible thing happening between them, they`re both afraid of, you know this sort of intimacy and kind of a connection. They are drown and afraid of the feelings that they have about each other at the same time."

Carlton Cuse:
About the flashback:

It’s actually more difficult to her stay in that house and cook breakfast, and be a little housewife than it is for her to break rocks and sleep in a cage. There’s all this contrasts that happen that I just love because I think the island represents who she truly is in her heart. And the flashbacks represent who she wishes she was."

Evi, about the sex scene:

This was such a big moment on the show where these characters, kind of finally consummate their relationship. It was great, I mean, you think about it, you know, in a show in a television show to basically go 55 hours before two characters who are in love - “Aww it`s beautiful"- with each other actually finally consummate and make love. It’s really amazing. And I think it was just as a starting point of the
relationship really kind of deepening it and existing in a different level. It was really a great scene

Evi about post-coital scene:

I was really pleased and glad when I saw that after the sex there was this “post-coital” scene because I wanted it to be really clear that Kate and Sawyer didn`t have just a weakness moment of lust when they gave in to their desires. But that they actually realize, physically realized something that was inside of them, emotionally. I believe that scene provided that and proved and supported what we were trying to show in previous cage scene. It was really nice to read that and feel
that they were honoring the emotional.

Carlton :And when Sawyer says “I love you” to Kate was such a huge moment to us, on the writing because just that knowledge from him was such a hard thing for him, was such a hard thing for that character get to that place.

Josh :And was difficult to play because it was so, can not be melodramatic, and was a fine line.

Carlton :And the way like he talks it off like but you know committing with that but without having to doing in a too clearly way.

About the "I love you" meaning:

Evi :Here on the island she’s got a guy who is kind of flipping it over when she is not even looking at him and it seems to mean so much more.

Carlton :Yeah! That`s cool.

Carlton:It was an element that added intensity to the scene, and rain is really metaphorically and significant in the show. When there`s rain, bad things tend to happen.

Josh :We made this scene more dramatic, the fight not to die more significant and came out of that emotion that being constantly beat and not doing anything about it.

Evi :I think Kate and Sawyer are both fighters.

Josh :Yeah, than doesn’t make sense they both just laying down so we had to add this little bit.

Evi :And I think them also both for the first time maybe in their lives have something whorth fighting for. And that`s what kind of breaks my heart in this scene, I think that Kate displayed some of the girly qualities you've never seen her playing. She`s weak and weepy about the whole thing. But for me, where I came from that “I just for the first time maybe ever I`m finally connected to someone and feel
like I have something, here something that worth fighting for, something what living for and now I`m being taken away. And I feel Sawyer is in the same situation. Is the first time in his life that he found someone that he can love and now he`s about to be killed.

Latest LOST Casting News

**PLEASE DO NOT READ IF YOU CONSIDER CASTING NEWS AS SPOILERS**

Hey Everyone,
As many of you know it is a common practice for actors of TV shows to work on various projects during breaks in filming and members of the LOST cast are not strangers to working on other projects as well.

However when a cast member is given a role on a another show of a competing network....well it does raise some eyebrows especially when it is a key character such Richard Alpert, who is played by Nestor Carbonell. It was reported several months ago that Carbonell was cast in the new CBS show Cane and ever since the big question has been will he be returning to LOST.

Last week D&C said during their podcast that they have "parked" the character for now but it does not mean he will not be back, but Carbonell had an interview with a radio show where he said he can not return because of his current contract.

Here is the audio from the interview. The first couple of minutes are about LOST while the rest of it is about his new show and his role in The Dark Knight as the Gotham City Mayor.

Enjoy and namaste....

**There are some minor spoilers in the interview**

Nestor Carbonell Interview

Source: DarkUFO

Summary of Interview:
- As far as he knows he will not return to Lost because of his contract with Cane. However, you never know about television so anything is possible.

- He believes that Richard is indigenous to the island and has been around 400 years or so.

- He stumbled over Evangeline Lilly's name while discussing the season finale.

- He compared Cane to Lost, saying that anything could happen on the Cane.

- Music will be very important on Cane. There will be a lot of guest performers at a club on the show.

- He loves Rum.

- He mentioned his role as the mayor of Gotham City in the upcoming Batman movie.

Lots of details on the LOST Season 3 DVD
Thanks to Lyly for finding the following info for us.

If you don't want to know too much about the DVD then I suggest you turn away now :)

Lost Season 3 DVD

I got mine. And it was like... well, I will try to say in this post. And I will try to put the whole stuff online (probably on YouTube) as soon as possible.
First, some people asked me about what was said by Evie in the glass scene. Well, Evie said, basically, that "the glass is invisible, and distorted things, giving you a sense of intimacy that its NOT THERE". Period. The whole commentary-stuff was a love declaration to Skate, from Josh, and most from Evie and Carlton.
Enough is anough.
And I won´t tell anything more about "I Do". I just refuse myself to keep with this shit. Enough said.

The Extras on the DVD

I will give details only about those things that I thought was worth it. Basically, those with Foxy-Jack on it.
I have to say first that this one was the most Foxyless/Jackless DVD-box of all 3 boxes. Almost none if you compare with Season 1 and 2. And that made me pretty much annoyed.
Secondly, my english sucks. Totally. So, just ignore all the errors, ok!
So, lets move on.

All the extras are:

- Lost Book Club (Some stuff about all the books references on Lost. Damon, Carlton and some actors like Josh Holloway, Elizabeth Mitchell, Michael Emerson and Henry Ian Cusack talk about their characters and "their" books on the show)
- Creating the toys of Todd McFarlane (how the toys were made, with all the computer stuff to copy the actors characteristics)
- The Next Level: inside the videogame (some nice stuff about Lost - the game)
- Lost On Location: Really nice stuff. Season 3 locations where were flimed:
*The Glass Ballerina
*Every Man For Himself
*Not In Portland (details below)
*Flashes Before Your Eyes
*Tricia Tanaka is Dead
*The Man From Talahasse
*Exposé
*The Man Behind The Curtain
*Greatest Hits
*Throught The Looking Glass (details below)
- Crew Tribute With Evangeline Lilly (Evies tribute to the Lost crew. She walks arounf the sets, introducing the whole people who works behind the cameras)
- Lost in a Day (Very interesting stuff. We see all the hard work that Lost cast and crew can do only in one day. They worked on 7 different episodes!)
- The World Of The Others (Producers and actors talking about "The Others" and how they were the central plot of Season 3)
- Terry O'Quinn - "Throwing From The Handle" (Terry talking about some action scenes that he played as "John Locke".)
- Blooper Real (details below)
- The Lost Flashbacks (Scenes that were never showed before)
*Furthers Instructions: "Locke Escapes"
*The Glass Ballerina: "Funeral Scene"
*Exposé: "People Can Change"
- Deleted Scenes (Details of all deleted scenes below)
* A Tale Of Two Cities: "Doctor to the rescue"
* Further Instructions: "Introducing Nikki and Paolo"
* Further Instructions: "Sex Talk"
* The Glass Ballerina: "Breaking Rocks"
* I Do: "Alex and Daddy"
* Flashes Before Your Eyes: "Super-powers, dude!"
* Tricia Tanaka is Dead: "Charlie Carries On"
* Tricia Tanaka is Dead: "Changing Our Luck"
* The Man Behind the Courtain: "The Journey to Jacob´s Place"

Now, finally, LOVE ME SOME JACK/FOXY!

Lost On Location: Foxy comments on NIP and TTLG
--> Not In Portland: Matt says that the work on the scenes that Jack is operating on Ben was very intense and all the actors were very focused.
Elizabeth Michell says that her and Foxy were obssesed with all the details, that they wanted to know all stuff about the surgery, wich objects they were going to use, to make the scene very real.
Carlton Cuse: "Jack sacrifaces his own freedom to help Kate and Sawyer to escape".
Foxy tells he thinks that Jack made a very noble gesture by letting them go.
Evangeline Lilly was happy that Kate was finally on the run with Sawyer.

PS: before people ask, no, not even a single word about the "walkie-talkie" scene.

--> Through the Looking Glass (aka - by me - "The Jack Show Episode" hee) : Foxy starts saying that film the Flash Forward was incredibly intense. That Jack is such a mess in the future, that he is about to lose his mind, and that was really tough for him to play Jack like that.
The director Jack Bender says that Jack has nothing left in this episode, and that Matthew is an actor that really commits body and soul to the story that he is telling, and that he really put himself in to it.
Foxy tells he doesnt know if he had ever got so tired like the way he was during the time he was filming the Season Finale. He says that was an incredible and hard 3 weeks of shooting.
Bender: "In the island we see Jack more strong, more commited with his 'Come on tribe, we are going to the mountain top" Moses style.
We see how they shoot that scene with Jack beating Ben.
Carlton says that the questions after the Season 3 Finale are: "How they got rescued?", "What means the contact that Jack made with this boat?" and "Is this a good thing or a bad thing?", and Damon adds that these are all the things they will explore on Season 4.

PS2: No, nothing about the "I love you", or the FF scene, or any Jack/Kate scene.

JACK BLOOPER REAL
One of the best things on the DVD, as always. So fucking fun! Dom and Naveen are the best thing about the bloopers. They were just hilarious.
There are 3 Jack/Foxy bloopers (I know that the way I will tell the bloopers may not sounds as funny as actually are, but be patience, I will put the videos on as soon as I can):
--> From "Greates Hits": Jack is talking with Juliet, asking about the Looking Glass station, and he starts to laugh and then Elizabeth Mitchell follows his laugh.
--> From "Through The Looking Glass": Jack is talking with Sayid about the radio and then suddenly Naveen just start to crack and make jokes about the scene, and Foxy cracks too.
--> From "Catch 22": Sawyer is asking Jack about his "backhand" (in front of Juliets tent, right before the ping-pong game), and then Foxy stops because he can´t remember what he is supposed to say. Then he remains in silence and starts to look back and forth, from Josh to Elizabeth, and them him and Josh start to laugh and Foxy grabs Josh (So freaking cute!).

DELETED SCENES

* A Tale Of Two Cities: "Doctor to the rescue"
The Jack-back scene that was cut from TOTC. She saves the blondie little girl that was suffocating at the playground. This scene starts with Jack inside his car in front of a school, looking at Sarah. Its the sequency of this scene.
After he saved the girl, he looks at Sarah, who is staring at him with disgust. She seems totally annoyed by his presence. Jack is totally shy, kind of embarassed on this scene. He smiles at her and tells that he was going to the hospital but he thought that would be ok stop by to see her. She looks at him with that cold look that he use to glance him every once and awhile, and tells him just to sign the divorce papers.
Once and again, Sarah is breaking Jack´s heart. I'm kind of glad they cut that scene.
She walks away and the little girl tells Jack to not trust Sarah.

* Further Instructions: "Introducing Nikki and Paolo"
This is another scene that I'm glad they cut from the original episode.
Its the scene introducing Nikki and Paolo. How that happens: Claire is taking care of Aaron when she hears some weird noises coming from Jacks tent. She starts to call Jack's name, and when she opens the tent she sees Pikki having sex there.

* Further Instructions: "Sex Talk"
The sequency of the "Pikki's sex scene". Nikki goes talk to Claire, to ask sorry about what she just saw.

* The Glass Ballerina: "Breaking Rocks"
Sawyer and Kate breaking rocks during their time on Alcatraz. Pickett come to Sawyer and asks him if he knows why he is breaking rocks. Sawyer says "no", and Pickett says that its for a "runaway". They start a little arg and Pickett tells him that the only reason why he is still alive is because Ben needs him alive.

* I Do: "Alex and Daddy"
Pickett took Alex to see Ben. Ben asked him to leave Sawyer alone, that he needs Pickett's word that he wont do anything with Sawyer. Pickett agrees and then Ben tells him to leave.
Ben says to Alex that Karl is not dead, that he is locked, because he needs to learn to do what he is told to.
They start to fight and Alex tells Ben that she hates him and wish he was dead. Then Ben tells her about his tumor.

* Flashes Before Your Eyes: "Super-powers, dude!"
Locke is fishing and Hurley is near him. Suddenly, he asks Locke if he has superpowers. Locke stares confused at him, and then Hurley starts to talk about super-heroes, like Flash (that got his powers after beein reached by a lightning), and all the strange things that happened with them on the island, like the sky turning purple, the earthquake. That he thinks that might be some kind of radiation and asks Locke what happened when the hatch exploded.
Locke says he woke up in the jungle with a bad headache and no voice. Then Hurley asks him about Desmond. Locke says he saw Desmond running through the jungle.
Hurley tells him that Desmond can see the future. Locke tells he doesnt want to know about what is going to happen in the future. Hurley asks why, and he answers that he might not like what he is gonna find out.

* Tricia Tanaka is Dead: "Charlie Carries On"
Charlie is chopping wood, and Kate comes in. She asks him if he is going to keep working on the church. She says that Sayid told her about what happened with Eko. Kate notes that Charlie is a little bit distracted and asks him if he is ok. He says he is, and asks her if she is going to leave again. She answers "Yes" and invites him to join her. Charlie says he would love to, but he has some other stuff to do.
She kisses him on the cheek and leaves.

* Tricia Tanaka is Dead: "Changing Our Luck"
Hurley and Sawyer talking. Sawyer asks Hurley if he was serious about what he said earlier, about fixing the van, turn things around and change their luck. Hurley says he was. Charlie comes and "thanks Hurley for slapping" him, and they start to laugh.

* The Man Behind the Courtain: "The Journey to Jacob´s Place"
Ben is taking Locke to see Jacob. Locke asks Ben if he was bothered because Alex gave him a gun. Ben says that Alex is just a teenager, that she is going through a "rebel fase".
Locke wonders what is gonna happen when she find out that she is not Ben's daughter. He says to Ben that he knows Alex is Rosseau's daughter and that he kidnapped her when she was a baby.
Ben args that he didn't kidnapped Alex, that he "just took her to rises her".
Locke asks why he told her that her mother was dead then. Ben says he did it because Rosseau is a lunatic who killed her own crew and spent the last 16 years sleeping in ditches. Ben tells Locke to imagine how great his childhood could had beein if he had no idea about who his parents were.

Wow... I think that´s it. I hope that helps you guys that are still waiting to buy the DVDs.
I will post the videos soon.

See you in another life... Or not.

Season 3 Artwork
Thanks to Lyly for finding the images that were posted by Leoff on Lost-Forum and thanks to The ODI for the following description from Leoff.

My box finally arrived. I haven't watched everything but spent a few hours watching the bonus DVD. There are a bunch of easter eggs but not as much S2 had. A very cool one was a 4 minutes full wide version of the brainwash video Karl was forced to watch. Bizarre.

I recognized many deleted scenes from earlier spoiler reports. Like Jack saving the little girl at Sarah's school from choking (3x01); the conclusion of Locke´s flashback (3x03) where all people but him got arrested by the police; two Paulo/Nikki scenes from Further Instructions, one of them being the famous sex scene (the other one is a funny and blunt sex talk with Nikki and Claire that makes the later very unconfortable); a deleted Exposé flashback showing Paulo/Nikki when the sky turned purple (this one humanizes Nikki and explain why she decided to join the Pearl expedition).

I also watched the first minutes of the 3x01 audio comentary with Damon and Elizabeth Mitchell. They recall there were two small scenes from the otherville opening that were cut. One showing Juliet talking to Amelia, the old lady; other showed Juliet checking out Ben´s x-ray (like the One of Us flashback). Damon made a joke regarding this one: it was cut so people could still complain he doesn't know where the show is heading to.

As some of you might know, both 2 parts of S2 finale on DVD had a small scene cut for unknow reasons. I'm pleased to inform S3 finale in untouched. Kinda. The first scene of part 2 was the "I love you" from Jack to Kate. This one was moved to part 1, right after the Mikhail/Ben talk about killing Bonnie and Greta. I assume part 1 was shorter than part 2, so they moved that scene to balance the length.

LOST Season 3 DVD -- Easter Eggs
Current mood: happy
Category: Movies, TV, Celebrities

Thanks once again to Leoff@LF for posting all of the easter eggs for the S3 DVD set. Since, this is the international version, I am sure there will be some different features and EEs on the US/UK versions.

As always thanks for reading and namaste.

LOST Season 3 DVD Easter Eggs

As the previous DVD boxes, there are several hidden ester eggs. To find them, first you select a particular title, move the left/right/up/down buttons at your remote control to reveal a hidden dot, then you press enter. All easter eggs I've found are in disc 7. The main menu shows 6 numbered surveillance TV monitors from Hydra station. You can select 4 monitors to watch the bonus and easter eggs: 2, 3, 4 and 5. Some speculate there might be a way to "unlock" at least one of the remaining monitors. If that's true, it's beyond my abilities. So here we go:

Select monitor 2 and press enter. The menu is the food machine inside the polar bear cage. A dot appears over that big button labeled with a knife and fork. Press enter to reveal the bonus titles. If you select "Lost Book Club" and RIGHT, the dot reappears at the button. Press enter to release a fish biscuit and a load of corn.

1) Select "Lost Book Club" then LEFT and UP. Press enter and watch Josh talking about the polar bear cage and a crew member explaining of what the fish biscuit was made. Length: 1:15.

2) Select "Cast in Clay: creating the toys of Todd McFarlane" and RIGHT two times. Press enter and watch a bonus about the ping pong table. We see Josh and director Stephen Williams playing and other stuff as the filming of the Sawyer and Hurley match (Enter 77). Length: 1:54

3) Select "The next level: inside the video game" and LEFT three times. Press enter and watch a video about how the chickens at the cage's location made a hell of noise and disturbed the shooting. Length: 0:51

Select monitor 3 and press enter. A dot appears over a walkie-talkie. Press enter to reveal the bonus titles.

4) Select "Lost: on location" and LEFT two times. Press enter and a widescreen version of the brainwash video Karl was forced to watch in Not in Portland. Length: 2:59.

Select "Lost: on Location" and press enter.

5) Select "The Glass Ballerina" and LEFT two times. Press enter and watch how the stunts of the Jin/Mikhail fight (D.O.C.) were made. Length: 3:05

6) Select "Tricia Tanaka is Dead" and RIGHT and UP. Press enter and watch Dominic and Jorge Garcia talking about how they play scrabbles at their free time. Length: 1:10.

7) Select "The Man From Tallahassee" and LEFT and UP two times. Press enter and watch a making of the Hydra flooding scene with Matthew Fox and Elizabeth Mitchell. Length: 2:18.

Back to the previous menu.

8) Select "Crew tribute with Evangeline Lilly" and RIGHT and UP. Press enter and watch Michael Emerson and Jack Bender praising the Lost crew. Length: 1:14.

9) Select "Lost in a day" and LEFT two times. Press enter and watch a video about the USS Bowfin, the WW2 submarine used as location to the Other's submarine. Length: 2:03.

Select monitor 4 and press enter. A dot appears over the ultrasound monitor. Press enter to reveal bonus titles. Select "The world of the Others" and UP. Press enter to make start the monitor for a few seconds.

10) Select "The World of the Others" and LEFT and UP to reveal a second dot at the monitor. Press enter and watch Dominic talking about Daniel Dae Kim and him finishing the friday New York Time cross-words and how they had to interrupt the last one to shoot the Paulo/Nikki funeral. Length: 1:38.

11) Select "Blooper reel" and RIGHT three times. Press enter and watch a making of the make-up used in the dead nigerians from The Cost of Living. Length: 3:01.

Select monitor 5 and press enter. Press enter again to reveal the bonus titles. Select "Main Menu" and left to reveal a dot over Naomi's cell phone. Press enter to make the phone work for a few seconds.

12) Select "The Lost flashbacks" and LEFT and DOWN. Press enter and watch a video about the Lost crew passion for shaved/crushed ice. Adewale (Eko) seems to enjoy too. Length: 1:59.

13) Select "Deleted scenes" and RIGHT two times. Press enter and watch a video about the couple responsible for the spiders seen on Exposé. Length: 1:46.

Select "Deleted scenes" and press enter.

14) Select "Introducing Nikki & Paulo" and RIGHT two times. Press enter and watch the making of the dive Rodrigo Santoro did at the waterfalls (Exposé). Length: 1:45.

lol, I know! The were laughing their asses off. I love Juliet, I think Mitchell as an actress is amazing and her character Juliet is kick ass!

And Kate has always been one of my very favorites. Unless she is using Sawyer, then I won't like her anymore.

I also LOL'd at Sayid screaming "NOT EVERY NOOK AND CRANNY, JOHN!!" at Patchy's house at Locke, and Terry O'Quinn was looking at him deadpan serious, hahaha.

I need to watch that again.

~By the way, in case you haven't noticed, everything I say is in the color red.

OK, this 1st post is NOT a technical spoiler, however, I am one of those that believes that clues are everywhere!

And it's weird, I was just wondering a couple weeks ago if they were going to start incorporating LOST stuff into 'Other' (hehe, bad joke, pun intended) TV shows, and now look.

IF you are like me and believe that there are LOST clues everywhere, including being placed in other shows now, you may want to stop reading now if you don't want to wonder. (Like me)

they do this because Lost is a phenomenon. I have a feeling that writers for other shows wish they could come up with something as intelligent as Lost, and they include these things as an homage to the geniuses behind our favorite show.

Lost Magazine Scans
Thanks to Katie for the scans and the info.

Here are the scans of the LOST Magazine Cover Story "Femme Fatales".

There really wasn't anything in the magazine we haven't heard or read before but this from the interview with M.C. Gainey was pretty funny after all the speculation about his character's sexuality.

Amongst all the darkness of season three, what's the funniest memory of the shoot?

M.C.: The funniest thing is that when they brought me back, the first scene I was in during the first episode was Kate in the shower. She said, "I'm not taking a shower in front of you," and I said, "Kate, you're not my type." Well, I'm sure you know what the blogs did from that moment on, so I began to try to play that [laughs]!

There wasn't much I could do for a while because I was a turnkey - most of what I did was lock them in cells, but I tried to flirt with Sawyer and certainly tried to flirt with Jack. I handled him with kid gloves and worshipped him and gazed at him from afar. There wasn't much I got to do with it, but it was in my thoughts, I began to think that way, and I looked at Jack that way. He wasn't just a prisoner; he was Jack. It's not hard to play that because Matthew is a really dynamic guy. He's got that charisma thing that everyone on the island agrees with. If Kate's not Tom's type then Jack is! Tom's attraction to Jack got me through the first half of the season [laughs]!

~Interesting Spoiler/Rumor Theories about Charlie going on here, good read, regardless if true or untrue. Also, just so you guys know, the sources I use have proven to be reliable~

Thanks to Jacked at the Numbers forum for this info....

http://www.4815162342.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=43640

Just received an email from PaceJunkie who is a well known poster on a number of Lost Forums etc. This is not really a rumour but more of a collection of tidbits of info that make for an interesting post/theory etc and as it contains possible spoilers/rumours the best place is the rumours section.

It's an interesting read nonetheless.

I don't know if you want to investigate this or just consider it a rumour, but a few things got me wondering whether Charlie may return in season five, and not just in flashback.

First there was your spoiler post quoting Damon when asked to give season four spoilers, the first thing he mentioned were the "save Charlie" T-shirts. Then, I learned from those who met Dom at London Film and Comic Con two weeks ago that on Saturday he was giving out stickers that said "I was Here Moments Ago". Here's the forum where they discuss it. Dom made sure everyone took one. He told someone getting an autograph that he could be back on Lost. I googled the phrase from the sticker and found your easter egg post showing that sticker on Charlie's guitar in GH. When fans asked him about the meaning behind his giving out those stickers at LFCC, he responded that it was a secret, but that "we would find out this time next year" (see Moffel's post from The Fuselage. There are other reports but I don't have links).

Could the mystery be that they learn in season four that Charlie's body is missing from the Looking Glass (when it was there moments ago) and in season five he somehow returns? There is still alot about that station and its white rabbit/black hole logo that is unexplained. Damon also said names mean something, and we know Charlotte Malkin (female form of Charlie) appeared to drown in icy water only to return. Also there is a new character cast called Charlotte who is "English, funny and in her 20's". Claire may now be left holding on to Charlie's ring without a body to bury very much like Rose did, always believing Bernard was alive when no one else did. Is that a clue that Charlie will return in a year like Bernard did? We still have Locke's vision of Charlie and Claire married in the airport from FI (note her wedding ring). Are these clues to Charlie's eventual resurrection via the mysterious island?

Whether it's enough to consider a spoiler or not, I just think Dom giving those stickers out at LFCC when he has supposedly moved on from Lost and telling people we would learn the meaning next year (post season four finale) tells me Charlie's story may not be over.
Don't you just love a mystery? Make of it what you will but I think there is enough evidence to at least put it out there to ponder.

Thanks,
pacejunkie

**NEW Mysterious LOST S4 Promo**
Current mood: happy
Category: Movies, TV, Celebrities

Hey All,
About a week ago I and many other sites/forums posted a clip of the new LOST Promo from the ABC Comissary which looked great, but had no sound.

LOST ABC Comissary Promo

Shortly after that clip was posted, DocArtz and TheTailsection.com were able to get a hold of another promo that supposedly aired during ABC's Saturday coverage of college football. The clip seemed legit but at the same time looked fake because at the very end of the promo there seems to be what looks like the number 6 flash on to the screen.

The validity of the promo has been debated on the forums heavily, but we never received any confirmation about the clip...??

Well apparently the clip has made its rounds and this week a fan asked Kristin from E!Online if this was an official promo for LOST and according to her sources she says yes it is!! Kristin says the 6 could mean the total number of seasons....??

Some of you may have seen this already, but thanks to LostGiddy, here is the promo with some screen caps and a slo-mo on the "6" at the end of the promo.

Watch it and let us all know what you think...enjoy and namaste...

Lindelof and Cuse Talk About S4 of LOST
Current mood: happy
Category: Movies, TV, Celebrities

So last week the producers of LOST Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse had an exclusive interview with SciWire and they were kind enough to share the details with us all...!!

For those of you that read spoilers there is nothing really new, but for those of you that do not read spoilers, the interview does contain some MINOR SPOILERS so if you do not want to be spoiled please do not read.

Thanks for reading and namaste....enjoy...

====================
SPOILERS BELOW
====================

Producers of ABC's Lost offered SCI FI Wire a few spoilers for the upcoming fourth season and said that more questions will be answered and more flashbacks and flash-forwards likely when the show returns early next year.

Executive producer and co-creator Damon Lindelof said the fourth season will continue "to answer and ask a lot of questions." But, he added, "season four is going to be a whole new show in a lot of ways. We're really excited with what we're doing and hope that it'll offer as many surprises as the finale did."

Among the spoilers Lindelof revealed: "Michael [Harold Perrineau] is coming back. Definitely. As for Walt [Michael's young son, played by Malcolm David Kelley], we've always known Malcolm was going to grow faster than we could shoot the show. And we planned for it. Trust us. Please trust us."

The show's producers have already figured out what they will do with the mysterious character of Jacob, who was introduced at the end of season three. Picking his words carefully, executive producer Carlton Cuse said, "Yes, we do know how Jacob will be depicted. Notice the careful wording of my answer. And no, Jacob did not appear before he was met by Locke." Cuse also declined to say whether an actor had been chosen to portray the character.

Flashbacks will continue to explain the backgrounds of some of the characters, but there will also be glimpses into the future, the producers said. (In the season finale, viewers saw what appeared to be a flash-forward to Jack [Matthew Fox] and Kate [Evangeline Lilly] after they had been rescued from the island.)

The producers said that it is inevitable that the time-bending story of Lost will continue to use looks both backward and forward. "It's absolutely inevitable, not to migrate completely away from flashbacks, but at least to find a new paradigm for storytelling that changed up the nature of the show," Cuse said. "Moving forwards, you'll get a mix. Every week will hopefully be a guessing game as to not just who will be focused on, but when we're focusing on them. Flash-forwards will be a part of season four, yes."

The reverberations of the death of Charlie Hieronymus Pace, played by Lord of the Rings's Dominic Monaghan, at the end of the last season will inevitably continue at the beginning of season four. "The reverberation of that death echoes right into the premiere of season four," Lindelof said.

WOW, there's alot more to Carlton and Damon's interview than what The ODI had!!

Thanks to 'i am the monster' at 48.com for posting this....

http://www.4815162342.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1005088#1005088

Found this at the 'Lage. Lucidity has translated it from Spanish, some of the things we've seen before (such as Jacob/Walt) but there is a lot of good information:

After three seasons of flashbacks was it inevitable you’d employ flashforwards because there were less ideas for flashbacks? Will we see predominantly flashforwards or will they be compensated with flashbacks?
DL : Absolutely inevitable . . . not so much as to abandon flashbacks, but at least to find a paradigm for the narration which will develop the nature of the series. With the flashforwards you get a mixture, each week we hope it’ll be a guessing game of not only WHO the episode is centred on, but WHEN the action is taking place.

How often is the torrential rain in Hawaii put into the script?
DL : A lot more often than it’s filmed. Often they’ll call us from Hawaii and say “Seriously, another downpour? Guys, you’re killing us.” But the rain IS dramatic, isn’t it?

What reason is there for watching the Season 3 DVDs?
DL : One of the things that we thought affected the narration this year was the break . . . to make 6 episodes that were dark and depressing and were probably too focused on the Others before we got the group together and “put the season’s meat on the grill”. (direct translation of the translation – but you get the idea). As well as the extras on the filming and preparation, to see the series as a whole is something we feel improves the experience.

Do you work with Physicists to make the Time Travel theories plausible? Apart from the writers, who contributes to the Lost scripts?
DL : Unfortunately, the Physicists are too busy with their Physics to help us with our script problems. Most of the time the ideas we use in the series are thoroughly investigated (cough cough WikiPedia cough cough) to give them a sense of authenticity. And speaking of Time Travel, you’ll like the new Dharma Orientation film on the Orchid Station which appears on the DVD.

Can you say anything about the Wizard of Oz references that appear on the show?
DL : The Wizard of Oz (and obviously Alice in Wonderland) are recurring themes in Lost. Both are about real people who appear in fantastical worlds . . . and about desperately trying to get back home. We introduced those references (Henry Gale, White Rabbits, Hot Air Balloons) as a homage to those stories which have had so much influence on our narrative.

How do you manage to maintain the balance on the show between drama and fantasy?
VERY, very carefully.

In the first half of the third season, the fans said the show didn’t give enough answers. Does it worry you that you’ve gone so far in the opposite direction in the second half?
CC : No, we thought that the balance at the end of the season was the right one. We see each season like a book. The answers that we think are essential are those which make that book in the series complete.

The third season distanced Kate and Jack. But the final episode shows their relationship is as strong as ever. Was this deliberate? Why do you want the fans to think they have no chance together?
CC : The Jack / Kate / Sawyer triangle is something that will continue for a long time. And who says they have no chance?

After Charlie didn’t die from the explosion, why didn’t he swim to the surface rather than drown?
DL : Two reasons. The first, once he closed the door (to save Desmond) the porthole that Mikhail blew open was too small for him to pass through. The second reason, because he knew, whatever happened, he was going to die . . . so why worry?

Since you revealed the secret of the Island is related to Time Travel a lot of unanswered questions seem to have an acceptable explanation. Why did you decide to reveal this?
CC : When ABC / Disney allowed us to end the show with 48 more episodes it was the time to start a new way of telling the story, which includes flashforwards. The show is like a mosaic. There are pieces in the present, in the past, and now also in the future. When all the pieces are in place, Lost has finished.

Be honest . . . the giant stone foot is Leonidas and the castaways are Spartans, right?
DL : Do you ask that question because you think Paolo and Xerxes are the same person? Damn it. You got us.

Does the secret of the Island mean all its inhabitants have to pay a price for being there?
DL : Yes, $3.95. Seriously, the series is about redemption. All the characters on the Island are facing their past mistakes and reliving experiences that affect them to the core.

The female characters are complete in themselves and not dependant on the male characters to be believable. Was this something premeditated or something that came about gradually?
DL : It’s totally intentional. And if Carlton and I hadn’t done it that way our wives would have been very angry with us. Honestly, it’s a blessing to have these incredible actresses . . . individuality and strength are two characteristics we look for when casting a role. We knew from the moment Elizabeth Mitchell came to read for the part of Juliet that she was going to be a sensation. If there’s one reason to watch every episode of the third season again it’s to watch the development of that character.

The third season has shown the death of a lot of main characters. Was it your intention from the beginning of the season to have such a bloodbath?
CC : This year was about the Others. The end of the season forced us to resolve the story of the Others. We promised a confrontation. That confrontation had profound consequences for both sides.

Was the person in the coffin at the end of season 3 someone we’ve seen before?
CC : Yes.

After all the expectation you created with Walt, are we really going to see him again?
DL : Oh, you’ll see him again. But you’re going to have to be patient. Sorry.

Why did you choose Hawaii to film Lost?
CC : The surroundings on the show were as important as any character. After going over a lot of options Hawaii seemed the best possible choice. It’s a beautiful place and not too far away allowing us to do the logistics required to make the show.

Does the Island have a name? Will we find it out?
DL : The name of the Island is Herbert Jablonski.

What was the most difficult part of filming the third season of Lost?
CC : The underwater station, which required a combination of set building, an operating water deposit and special effects.

Did Nikki and Paolo die because fans didn’t respond to the characters or just because it was incredibly cool to kill them that way?
CC : Both!!

4 8 15 16 23 42. Will we ever know the what those numbers mean?
CC : We can explain the meaning of 16 and 23. We disagree about explaining 4, 8 and 42.

Is there any explanation for the choice of the names Locke, Rousseau and Hume for some of the characters?
DL : Yes, They’re all in Carlton’s bowling team. Oh . . . and famous philosophers, whose works we’ve taken the liberty of appropriating and incorporating into the show.

Do you really know what the last image of the last episode of Lost will be?
CC : Yes, we know what the last image of the show will be, and it won’t be a black screen.

Will you use a lot of flashforwards this season or does that give too much information on who will survive?
CC : The flashforwards will be a component of season 4. But it’s not true that the flashforward you saw was the end of the show.

Is Hawking named after Stephen Hawking? Why doesn’t he age?
DL : You must be confusing Hawking (a woman who appears in the Desmond episode “Flashes Before Your Eyes”) and Richard Alpert . . . Ben’s right-hand man. No doubt, Hawking was named after Stephen Hawking. Alpert also owes his name to someone famous, but you’re going to have to discover that for yourselves.

With so many fans discussing the show, have you used any of their ideas?
CC : Yes. Do you have any?

Do you use a lot of special effects?
CC : We film the whole show on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. That means using a lot of visual effects to make Honolulu look like Iraq, Paris, New York . . .

How many days have the survivors been on the Island? If you follow that rhythm of days in the next three seasons the pregnant Sun won’t die before the show finishes. Well, at least not as a cause of the pregnancy illness on the Island. Is this right?
DL : At the end of the third season the survivors have been on the Island for less than a hundred days. Yes, your theory about Sun is correct . . . but don’t forget that we can jump into the future in the next season, so anything can happen.

So you know how the show is going to end, and does it fit into what you had planned from the beginning (at least the concept)?
DL : We always knew the ending, we didn’t know how long it would take us to get there. So, yes, it still fits completely with the point in the story in which we find ourselves right now. With 48 episodes ahead, it’s exciting to be working towards an ending with which we are already familiar.

How many people participate in this project? Is it the same team as when Lost started or has it grown?
CC : There are about 500 people who work on Lost. A large number of them have changed over time. About 400 are in Hawaii. The other 100 are here in Los Angeles. We write, put it together, select actors, and do all of the post-production here in Los Angeles. All of the filming of the show is carried out in Hawaii.

Why did you create the characters of Nikki and Paolo? Why did they have to die?
DL : People asked us about the other characters on the beach. When are we going to know something about them? So we decided to focus on Nikki and Paolo, but then people got angry because we were taking time away from the main characters and giving it to Nikki and Paolo. So we listened to the fans and decided to bury them alive.

Do you know what actor will play the mysterious Jacob? And has there been any episode in which he appeared before his meeting with Locke?
CC : Yes, we know how Jacob will be represented. Notice the careful use of words in my answer. No, Jacob didn’t appear before his meeting with Locke.

What character death was most difficult for you to take this season?
DL : It was incredibly difficult to say goodbye to Charlie. We thought that the season had to end with the loss of one of the main characters and we started to prepare it from the beginning of the season. It was very difficult to write Charlie’s sacrifice . . . and Dom’s performance also made it very hard when it came to watching it. That death will echo into the start of the fourth season.

If Michael comes back this season, will we see Walt physically or only a ghostly presence? Or has Malcolm grown too much to convincingly play a child?
DL : Michael IS coming back. Definitively. With regards to Walt . . . we always knew Malcolm was going to grow faster than we could film. And we took that into account. Believe us. PLEASE, believe us.

A lot of the characters are neither good or bad, but rather ambiguous. What flexibility do characters like Locke or Ben allow you?
DL : You use the word “ambiguous”, we would use the word “complex”. We are interested in exploring how good and evil can be personified in the same characters and the battles that all of us have to fight in the dark part of our souls.

Now the third season has given answers (and posed) so many questions, what can we expect from the fourth season?
DL: Giving answers and posing a lot of questions. Seriously, the fourth season is going to be a new show in a lot of senses. We are really excited about what we are doing and we hope it will give you as many surprises as the end of last season did.

Does the discovery of Jacob have more to do with giving answers to the public or posing more questions?
CC : If you think the discovery of Jacob gave answers, you’re probably in the minority! We felt it was important to show Jacob as more than a name at that point because it will be important in the future.

Which of the extras on the season 3 DVDs do you think the fans will like most?
CC : We’re very happy with the piece about 24 hours of Lost. It illustrates just how much complexity and collaboration there is when making a TV show. We’re very excited about the release of the Blu-ray version. It’s the first Disney show to appear in that format, and it will be incredibly high quality. There is a special piece about answers which will only appear on this version and in which Damon and I confirm or dismiss several theories about the show.

We’ve seen that the new DVDs contain your literary references. Which was the most obvious reference from the third season?
DL : An extra on the season 3 DVD called “Lost Book Club”. You will find the answers there . . . but personally my favourite is that Aldo (the Other who was guarding Room 23 in the episode 3x07) is reading “A Brief History of Time”.

Apparently, on Law and Order SVU last night, Kevin Tighe (the actor who plays Locke's father Anthony Cooper) was guest starring....and the name of his character was Cooper (just like LOST). He ran a book shop.
Just thought this was interesting with the whole "Chuck" connection going on, too.

hmmmm, I wonder if they are just throwing us crazed hiatus from Hell fans some bones?

hahaha, watch a connection from Bones happen now, just cause I said that!

~From AskAusiello/TV Guide....

Question: Get to work. I want some Lost scoop. — Donny

Ausiello: They're currently shooting Episode 4, and multiple sources confirm that it's a Kate-centric outing that features flashbacks and/or flash-forwards. Also, two new, potentially recurring characters are being cast as we speak — and both are described as "military types" in their late twenties who follow orders without question.

Source: TV Guide

~WOW, it looks like it is true that we really will find out if Kate is pregnant early in the season!!~

~Not too spoilery, but is on a spoiler website, and I personally consider it spoiler info as it is conversation with TPTB (The Powers That Be, Damon and Carlton) about the very very end of the whole series.
Cool stuff here!~

Lost Writers Eye The End
What do you think the final image of Lost will be? Vincent's Snow-Globe? Someone's Eye? A Dharma Logo? Put your guesses here and we'll see who was right in 2.5 years time.

Producers of ABC's Lost told SCI FI Wire they know how the show will end, though the series finale won't happen until 2010. The producers even know what the final shot will look like, they said in interviews.

Co-creator and executive producer Damon Lindelof said that the writers will be working toward the end of the series over the next two years. "We always knew the ending," he said. "We just didn't know how much time to take before we got there. So, yes, it still completely fits with where we're at in the storytelling right now."

Lost will become more focused because the end is in sight, the producers added. "With 48 episodes to go, it's exciting to be working towards an endpoint we're already familiar with," Lindelof said.

During a press conference for the release of the Lost season-three DVD set on Dec. 11, executive producer Carlton Cuse said that the show will be using flash-forward scenes, but warned cryptically that "it would be wrong to think that the flash-forward you saw is the end of the series." Viewers got their first glimpse at a possible future in the third-season finale last spring.

Cuse added that he already has the final image of the series in mind. "Yes, we do know what the last image of the show is," Cuse said. "And it won't be a black screen!" he added, alluding to the controversial cut that ended HBO's The Sopranos.

I swear, this show better NOT end with a snowglobe as the final scene of the series or there will be RIOTS!! :cursing: :2guns:

Do any of the members here read these? Cause I always see 4-6 people viewing the section after I post a spoiler, but only pds has said something in here, so I am thinking maybe those 4-6 people are guests?

I know some members here don't want to read them, I'm just wondering if any do read them.

Oh yay!!! choochie!! Thank you! I thought I was talking to myself and the guests this whole time, lol.

Yes, I am SundressFreckles at the 'Lage, though I have not been there in a long time.

Yea, I guess Charlie's death will be reverberating right into the S4 premiere, is what they said.

Not so much spoilery, but some Spoiler Theories are going to be starting very soon from all this stuff, if they haven't already!

Apparently, Neil Hopkins, (Charlie's brother Liam), appeared on this Wed. night's episode of Dirty Sexy Money as an airplane mechanic.

When I watched the clip from 'Chuck' where he mentions Oceanic Flight 815 was "shot down by" (QUICK GO TO CUT, we don't hear the rest) was very very much like the brainwashing scene with Karl on LOST.

This is getting really cool! Just this week, first the 'Chuck' Oceanic Flight thing, then 'Cooper' on LOST plays a 'Cooper' on L&O SVU, now Liam from LOST plays an airplane mechanic on DSM.

All only in one week. I think these sightings will be something fun to watch for and catch during this hellatious hiatus.

So the good news is, it looks like the production is on schedule and that the crew will begin filming for this episode tomorrow which hopefully means some more fan sightings. Also, that is a long production time for one episode....13 days....could be some good action involved or just one of those scheduling things....??

Based on the call sheet majority of the characters are British Military "type" roles, so many of the spoiler sites/forums are now reporting that Episode 5 will be Desmond Centric. So all of you Henry Ian Cusick (Desmond) fans should keep your eyes open for him to make some appearances soon....ummm Kanahina....are you free this weekend....can you please drive around town for us all...??

BTW....ABC mole if you are reading this I totally can play either Larson or Keamy....imagine the great PR and pub you guys would get with a fan on the show...??

**PLEASE DO NOT READ IF YOU FEEL SET PICS ARE SPOILERS**

Hey All,
A couple of weeks ago I posted a blog about several sources reporting that the LOST crew was filming a scene with Naveen Andrews (Sayid) in Germany on a snowy day.

Several fans reported seeing snow on the streets of Hawaii, street signs and store fronts in German, the German Flag waving plus Naveen Andrews on set doing several takes of him walking in and out of a building.

Thanks to a loyal ODI reader, today we all get to see the very first set images from that shoot!!

Unfortunately for all of you Sayid fans (myself included) we do not have any shots of him yet, but these are still some great images of the set and everything that was being described by the fans that day.

The set actually looks like a government building and could be a FB with Sayid looking for Nadia or perhaps a FF....??

Well here are the pics....enjoy and namaste....

LOST S4Ep5 Filming Update
Current mood: happy
Category: Movies, TV, Celebrities

**PLEASE DO NOT READ IF YOU CONSIDER FILMING UPDATES AS SPOILERS**

Hey All,
For those of you that read the latest casting news I posted yesterday, know that filming for episode 5 was scheduled to begin today. Based on the casting call for several Military Type roles, the episode seems like it will be Desmond Centric episode.

So today we have a couple of different reports from fans informing us that the crew is at the now infamous YWCA building and also at the State Capitol building.

Here are the details:

YWCA Filming

Over the last 3-4 weeks this is the 4th time the LOST crew has used this location for filming. Several characters have been linked to this location, but this time around it is setup for some sort of court hearing and the rumors are it is a Desmond Episode.

Thanks to Ryan@Hawaii Blog for the following reports:

Report 1:
"LOST" is settling in for another big shoot at the downtown YWCA, marking perhaps the fourth time in as many weeks the historic building across from 'Iolani Palace has hosted the show. As in the past, details are few, as a rented building offers much more privacy than a city street. But a couple of little birdies have flitted past with tantalizing possibilities.

1. There is a lot of construction going on. Much of it is for a major renovation of the Cafe Laniakea restaurant (what I thought might be a greenscreen backdrop is merely a storage shed for tables and chairs), but some of the skilled carpentry observed recently is indeed related to "LOST" sets.

2. One set, in particular, bears a faint resemblance to a courtroom, complete with judge's bench, witness stand, and bar. Then again, a rough sketch of the layout was interpreted by someone else as a cafeteria. My money's on courtroom, though.

3. The hearing or trial to take place on the set revolves around the "LOST" character and flashback most commonly associated with the YWCA location. As it is, this actor has been on the premises for at least two of the last three location shoots (though presumably for different scenes).

It is curious that "LOST" is making such frequent use of the YWCA when it has access to much of the Hawaii Film Studio at Diamond Head, which is specifically designed for film and TV production and deliciously closed to the public.

Then again, the look of "LOST" practically demands a level of authenticity in sets and locations that a studio just can't provide.

Report 2:

An early morning update...

I'm pretty sure the YWCA set is a courtroom, or related to judicial proceedings. But there are actually two locations being used concurrently today -- the now familiar YWCA, and the basement of the Hawaii State Capitol. Of course, that offers anything from a stale office look to a dark parking garage to, yes, a hearing room, to... well, anything else.

More significantly, at least one of these shoots is for a scene taking place in Los Angeles. There were armed L.A. police and Sheriff's uniforms about, as well as scruffy members of the media among the extras being outfitted this morning at the prop tent.

State Capitol Filming:

Thanks to Kyle for this report:

Heavy security is surrounding the State Capitol this morning as a crew from the hit television series "Lost" films a flashback scene, said Russell Pang, spokesman for Gov. Linda Lingle.

Traffic has been disrupted around Beretania Street this morning as fans and gawkers try to get a glimpse of the filming.

DEFINITELY SPOILER!

This is an interview with Nestor Carbonell from another radio show. I found this on a LOST forum.

Thanks to DarkUFO....

DJ: "So what's the deal with Richard? He didn't age."

Nestor: "I either didn't age, or the makeup department didn't show up [laughs]. I was told I was fairly ageless."

DJ: "So you're the recruiter. You left the island and found Juliet, and you found Ben when he was a kid."

Nestor: "When Ben was a kid I tapped him to be the head of the Others- the Golden Child. I was indigenous to the island, and had the responsibility of
finding the messiah."

DJ: "So are you coming back to Lost or what?"

Nestor: "Um.. no.[laughs] I haven't been contacted by the producers yet; haven't heard anything from them, actually, so I don't know, but I wouldn't
rule anything out. Contractually, I can't do both; I can't be on two networks at the same time. But stranger things have happened. I shot the
Cane pilot before I heard from the LOST producers, they said they wanted me in the last five episodes [of season three]."

DJ: "In your opinion, what the hell is happening with LOST?"

Nestor: "They're experimenting, both as writers and characters (the Dharma Group). They've painted themselves into a corner, and now they're climbing up the walls."

WHOA! Does this mean no more Dr. Alpert? Ever?
That would really suck. But I don't like Nestor's attitude toward the LOST Creators at all. :2guns:

Lost may still return to Wednesdays
I received an email from my contact over at ABC over the weekend in which he says that due to the ratings of various shows (both on ABC and other networks), that Lost may still return on Wednesdays and not Mondays as he previously reported. With the large hiatus ABC have some time to view and calculate the best time to air Season 4 and although initially Monday 4th Feb was the penciled in date, there have been some rumblings that it may still return on Wednesdays. My source says that ABC will make an official decision on both the date and time within the next 2-3 weeks once the Nielsen DVR rating figures for other shows have also been factored into the equation.

So this could be good news for those that didn't like the potential Monday slot. As soon as I have any more info, I'll pass it along.

LOST S4 Update
Current mood: happy
Category: Movies, TV, Celebrities

Hey All,

Good morning....I know we are STILL approximately 5 months away from the Season 4 premiere but that wait is STILL way too loooong.

Fortunately we have spoilers and rumors to help us through the hiatus just a bit. Sorry spoiler haters this blog is about the latest set of potential spoilers from my inside source....so yeah that is your hint to stop reading if you do not want to be spoiled...

Now I know there are still some haters and doubters out there.....but as filming continues and leaks from various sources including fan sightings continue, it is easy to see that my source seems to know what they are talking about.

So thanks to my source for all of the info and today's set of possible spoilers....

As always thanks for reading and namaste.....

=====================
Possible Spoilers Below
=====================

I know this list of spoilers does not add much new, but it does fill in some gaps and it does confirm some of what we already are hearing and seeing....here you go....

As always my opinion follows in orange after the dashes:

1) Nathan Fillion who played Kevin Callis (Kate's Ex-Husband) is in talks with producers to return to the show for another cameo role.

-- Good ole' Nate this guy is a great actor and it will be good to see him come back hopefully to continue the Kate story line. This role seems like it will be a part of a FF, which may lead to Kate going on trial based on the current filming shoots we have seen.

2) Nestor Carbonell (Richard Alpert) may be killed off or depending on how Ben's story unfolds he may not be coming back to the show just for this season.

-- WTF!!?? D&C you guys can't kill Richard....he is like 400 years old and btw won't he just regenerate like Patchy....?? Well I feel that Richard's story has a tremendous potential in the show (similar to Libby before she was killed) and would love to see them continue that line. Well hopefully he will return like Libby as well.

3) Locke will explain the hatch implosion

-- Umm ok....well we pretty much know what happened and I wonder if this is something brief or some knowledge Locke gains from Jacob...??

4) Desmond's next flashback is to be about his time with the British Royal Scots

-- Well this pretty much confirms what many of us already assumed and have reported based on the military heavy casting call for Episode 5

5) Charles Widmore will be part of Desmond's FB

-- Nice I love seeing Widmore and it is pretty much understood he would be a part of Desmond's past in the military.

6) John Terry (Christian Shepard -- Jack's Dad) returns in Matthew Fox (Jack) FB/FF episode and it will finally put the whole is he dead or not topic to rest

-- LOL....this seems to be a little continuation of a previous spoiler from my source and I always love seeing this out there as a potential story line....because I know so many of you feel and "know" that CS is dead...but I actually think CS is Elvis...

LOST S4 Filming Update
Current mood: happy
Category: Movies, TV, Celebrities

**PLEASE DO NOT READ IF YOU CONSIDER FILIMNG UPDATES AS SPOILERS**

Hey All,
Yes I know it has been a few days since I have posted something, but I have a bunch of new LOST info for all of you, including a new set of spoilers from my source that I will post later.

But first, more about the latest round of filming that was been taking place at the Hawaii State Capitol Building and the YWCA.

These too locations seem to be the two primary locations the LOST crew has been focusing on and they have created quite a buzz the last few days with the local news media in Hawaii even covering the filming shoots.

The interesting part of the current filming taking place is that it seems to be a court scene with Late on trial in a FF most likely on trial for her crimes. This is quite consistent, because if you are a spoiler lover and read one of my ealier lists of spoilers for S4, then you would remember that the writers planned to show us why Kate was not in jail in the first episodes and it looks like that is what they are giving us.

Also, the scenes itself have several extras which lend to the fact that Kate is a celeb or popular from survivng the crash. By the way, I am starting to think that Kate and Jack lied that others survived or about the island itself.....I guess we will have to see.

Any way here are the details for the shoots with a video clip and some pics:

State Capitol Building Location

Local News Coverage

Justice moves swiftly in TV land. "LOST" took over much of the Capitol District in downtown Honolulu today, including parts of the Hawaii State Capitol and the nearby Laniakea YWCA. Deep inside the Capitol, a police interrogation. Across the street, a courtroom. But out front, it was a madhouse. It was the trial of Kate Austen, and it was a flash forward.
For Episode 4 of Season 4, the Capitol building played a Los Angeles courthouse this morning in a scene so dramatic it was reported to real newsrooms around Honolulu. Action is called. Kate arrives in a black Lincoln Town Car, with Los Angeles police cruiser and motorcycle escorts. A mob of people, plus journalist and TV news crews (news vans from channel 6 and 19 were on the scene), are waiting. The people boo, hiss, shout "Murderer!" from behind the barricades as Kate is ushered inside.

At first blush, it sounds like it could be a flashback, relating to one of Kate's many pre-crash crimes. But I have it on good authority that it was indeed a flash forward… although that fact may not be readily apparent as the story unfolds!

YWCA Location

After nearly a week of preparation, including substantial carpentry and set building, court is now formally in session at the Laniakea YWCA. Much of the facility has effectively been taken over by the "LOST" production crew, with classes canceled today and tomorrow and "QUIET!" signs posted throughout. The cameras are clearly rolling for an intense scene, one no doubt tied to Friday's media circus at the Hawaii State Capitol building A scene that involves Kate (Evangeline Lilly)… and Jack (Matthew Fox).
Yes, Jack the Crying Doctor was spotted in the neighborhood, and I was actually able to watch him film a brief scene on Friday a few yards below the spot where Kate arrived to much ado a few hours before.

Down in the underground parking lot for the capitol building, near the guard booth and lower entrance off Miller St., a clean-shaven, leather-jacket wearing Jack has a brief conversation with the striking, poised Kate we saw at the end of Season 3. Jack steps away from an older, brown pickup truck, not unlike the one Locke drove in one of his flashbacks, to talk to Kate. There's some awkwardness, but there are also some smiles. Eventually, Jack helps Kate get into a yellow taxi cab, and watches as it drives away.

Does this basement parking lot scene come before or after her chaotic courtroom arrival, or even in the same year? What did Jack and Kate say before parting? I guess we'll have to wait until next year to find out.

As always thanks for reading and namaste.

Some of the URL's to the links have the spoiler info in the URL itself, so I am posting them far enough down the post so you don't see if you don't want to.

LOST Returns to the YWCA
Update: 2nd OctoberThanks to The ODI for the following image. Is this the mysterious woman? Susan Gibney? I've also located a demo reel and they do look very alike.

Thanks to Ryan for the following filming update. To see more photos visit his new blog here.

Anyone know who the actress is?

With the filming taking place inside the meeting rooms on the third floor, there wasn’t much to see but the crane-mounted spotlights. Though things didn’t get rolling until sunset, the lights could have easily helped create a daytime scene within. Evangeline Lilly was spotted at the location, as well as this actress, who took a smoke break out on the balcony. Look familiar? More photos from today’s shoot can be found here.

Thanks to Lyly for the following from the latest Kristin Chat.

Update: For those who missed the video that we posted on the Homepage, I've added it here as well.

Dahlia in Miami: Have you seen the so-called Lost Six video? Is it real?
We checked with ABC, and yes, it's real. What it means, we have no frakkin' idea, although six seasons would be the gimme. However, don't expect promos with actual show footage until at least November. Dangit.

Jake in Columbus, Ohio: Anything on Lost?
Only that it has reentered the zeitgeist—with a vengeance. Oceanic 815 was name-checked on Chuck, and Jerry Seinfeld himself declares he's a fan in the season premiere of 30 Rock. Yippee!

Oh, also episode five is currently casting, and they're looking for actors to play a narcoleptic (hilarity ensues), an R. Lee Ermey-style drill sergeant, three older British guys and two young soldier types, who we could see on more than a couple of episodes. Hmmm...

Episode 4 Kate Centric
Nothing really new here from Ausiello and I suspect that his multiple sources were in fact Ryan's photos and info that we posted a while ago. As for the character information, that's the news that we broke a few days back as well :)

More filming reports - Kate on Trial
Update: 6th Oct 09:00 GMTMike has kindly sent through some of his photos (see below). We've also just received a detailed filming report from Ryan.

Thanks to Mike for sending in this report. I'm hoping that we'll have the photos shortly.Watch this space.

My name is Mike and I live Hawaii. This morning I went down to the State Capitol Building and saw the filming of a scene involving Kate in a flashback. In the scene, Kate is stepping out of a Town Car which is escorted by police. The building was set to the Los Angeles Criminal Court. When she steps out of the car, there are dozens of camera/news reporters snapping pictures and trying to get an interview. One person even yelled “MURDERER” at her character. I was only able to get 5 pictures because I then learned that filming was not allowed. Two pictures are of Kate preparing for the scene, two are of the background area, and one is of the actual scene itself, where you can see the town car and the swarm of “news crew” waiting for Kate to walk into trial

Deep inside the Capitol, a police interrogation. Across the street, a courtroom. But out front, it was a madhouse. It was the trial of Kate Austen, and it was a flash forward.

At first blush, it sounds like it could be a flashback, relating to one of Kate’s many pre-crash crimes. But I have it on good authority that it was indeed a flash forward… although that fact may not be readily apparent as the story unfolds!

Security was unusually tight today, and sensing that, I kept my distance. As it turns out, though, fans weren’t the only ones waved away. Responding to curious calls from the public, a crew from KITV — our local ABC affiliate, actually — was dispatched to file a brief segment. But their presence caused quite a stir, and they were told loudly and in no uncertain terms (by a co-executive producer, no less) to leave the premises. It was an unusual demand considering the public nature of the State Capitol building and the very philosophy of its open-air rotunda… and considering that “LOST” airs locally on the station.

So, while fictional news crews awaited their cue, KITV was ushered away. Even after relocating to the Eternal Flame war memorial across the street, someone was sent over to dissuade them from filming.

Speaking solely from personal experience, some members of the production crew are more tolerant of fans than others. For the most part, we all understand the others’ interests. Nobody should trespass on private property, talent shouldn’t be hassled, and photography is often limited. But, public streets and public facilities are usually fair game (though even I’ll stand down if asked). For the most part, the enthusiasm of gathered fans is a net gain for the show, sustaining the most hardcore addicts during the long hiatus before Season 4 airs.

Sadly, today was not a good day for fans, or legitimate members of the press, and on public grounds no less. Like others, I was told to buzz off, and I did. However, thanks to an anonymous source, I’m still able to share some exclusive photos from this morning’s work at the Capitol. Enjoy!

Here’s hoping future location shoots this season can strike a better balance between the show’s interests and that of its local fans. Friendly interaction, up front and in the open, surely beats the alternative. After all, everyone involved loves “LOST.”

LOST Building
Update: 5th Oct 20:00 GMT Thanks to Kyle for the following.

Source: Honoluluadvertiser

Update: 5th Oct 19:00 GMT Ryan has just posted an update.

Thanks to Ryan from Hawaii Blog for the following info. Seeing as Filming starts today for Episode 5, which is a Desmond centric episode I have a feeling we just might find out what Desmond was sent to Prison for.

“LOST” is settling in for another big shoot at the downtown YWCA, marking perhaps the fourth time in as many weeks the historic building across from ‘Iolani Palace has hosted the show. As in the past, details are few, as a rented building offers much more privacy than a city street. But a couple of little birdies have flitted past with tantalizing possibilities.

1. There is a lot of construction going on. Much of it is for a major renovation of the Cafe Laniakea restaurant (what I thought might be a greenscreen backdrop is merely a storage shed for tables and chairs), but some of the skilled carpentry observed recently is indeed related to “LOST” sets.
2. One set, in particular, bears a faint resemblance to a courtroom, complete with judge’s bench, witness stand, and bar. Then again, a rough sketch of the layout was interpreted by someone else as a cafeteria. My money’s on courtroom, though.
3. The hearing or trial to take place on the set revolves around the “LOST” character and flashback most commonly associated with the YWCA location. As it is, this actor has been on the premises for at least two of the last three location shoots (though presumably for different scenes).

It is curious that “LOST” is making such frequent use of the YWCA when it has access to much of the Hawaii Film Studio at Diamond Head, which is specifically designed for film and TV production and deliciously closed to the public.

Then again, the look of “LOST” practically demands a level of authenticity in sets and locations that a studio just can’t provide. Also, I’d like to think that facilities like the YWCA ultimately benefit financially from being periodic hosts to a hit TV series… exactly the kind of local investment our film industry gurus cheer.

Hawaii goes German
Thanks to The ODI for the following info and photos of the scene we reported last week about the German Flashback/Forward and the snowy settings. Here are the first pictures from that.

One of the things that they managed to find out is that they are also about to film a death on the show. The info is being kept very secret currently and we don't have details of who the death will involve. Hopefully they'll have some more info soon which they can then pass onto us.

LOST Shoot by KGMB
Thanks to SAM for the heads up on this video and photos

It's not often that a location shoot for ABC's "LOST" captures the attention of the local media. But a recent scene required a media circus at the Hawaii State Capitol (which was playing the Los Angeles Criminal Court). It was so dramatic, newsrooms around Honolulu got calls, and real reporters showed up to check out the fake reporters. Here's the report from KGMB (our CBS affiliate)

LOST Holding Court
Thanks to everyone who sent me this report from Ryan.

Lost Keeping Cool
Thanks to Ryan of Hawaii Blog for the following.

“LOST” wrapped a major, two-day location shoot today at the Laniakea YWCA, capping several days of work at the downtown building.

Inside, Kate pleads not guilty to a laundry list of crimes, including murder, assault and weapons charges. Outside, crews worked hard to maintain both the ideal climate and the dramatic silence required for the scene. Street noise and tire screeches from the parking garage directly across the second-floor set vexed the sound crew, leaking in through old windows and conduits required for wiring and air conditioning.

It may seem curious that “LOST” would construct a courtroom in the historic building, especially since it stands a mere block away from the Hawaii Supreme Court and State Capitol — locations where majestic, court-like rooms are already built. But short of a studio lot, there’s a lot to be said for a facility you can effectively lock down and control, something the YWCA apparently offers… hopefully to its great benefit in the long term, despite the short-term inconvenience caused to members and every day visitors.

Q : Hi Jorge!
Not the first to say but you are a really good guy, the only star I know to be so cool with his fans! It's just fantastic also that you answer ALL questions sometimes stupid, sometimes interesting or boring. Thanks a lot.
So, you know how much it's difficult for us to wait so long for next season. Producers are just crazy! Can I ask you a little favour? I just would like to know if you could ask JJ Abrams, Bender, Cuse or Lindelof if it's possible to have just a picture of 1or2 actors or staff members (No spoiler of course) with a word that say Lost filming's going on and season 4 will be fantastic? It would be a great gift for all the fans I think...
If it's not possible your answers on this forum will of course still be fantastic enough!
Thanks in advance!

Fisher Stevens to play Minkowski
Thanks to Lyly for the following.

The mysterious Minkowski, whose voice was heard on the other side of the satellite phone found by the "Lost" gang, now has a face as Fisher Stevens has been tapped to play the role on the ABC/ABC Studios series.

Stevens will recur as Minkow¬ski on "Lost." The character, which was referenced several times toward the end of last season, was only heard talking to Jack (Matthew Fox) on the phone and told the survivors in the third-season finale in May that they will be rescued.

In the "Lost" fan blogosphere, the name of the character has been tied to German mathematician Hermann Minkowski, whose Minkowski space -- a four-dimensional system including the three dimensions of space plus the dimension of time -- was used in Einstein's theory of special relativity.

Stevens, who recently co-directed the critically praised documentary, "Crazy Love," is repped by Fortitude and the Collective

hmm, for me, they enhance the anticipation and keep me going. I don't want to know the big stuff, just the medium stuff and little tidbits.
I read these and if you don't want to know which character-centric episode 5 is, stay away from #1. But it is mild compared to Episode 4.

There is ALOT of info about episode 4, and who the character is that it's centered on, AND what the plot line is. To me those are medium spoilers, but if I were you, I would also stay away from post #'s 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 7, 8, 9, and 10.

They all contain info about Episode 4, if I were you, I don't think I would read it. To me, it pumps me up to read it, but I think you should probably not read those. Too much info, may ruin your anticipation. #'s 2, 3, 5, 6, 11, ,12, 13, and 14 are OK, and mild, and will get you even more excited.

TVGuides behind the scenes promo photo! You have to click the link to see the pic. Not really too spoilery, it looks like they are just picking up from where they left off in S3 finale.

Choochie, this one is safe for you to read and look at. ;)

TV Guides behind the Scene Promotional Photo
Thanks to Susan for the following.

Break out the magnifying glasses and prepare to hypothesize to your heart's content, Lost fans. At right is an exclusive photo from the set of the new season of ABC's Lost, premiering... well, way too long a time from now, for my liking. I see Sayid, Bernard and Desmond, and you can spy Juliet on the far right, also standing in front of the plane.

Ohhhh, Happy Days! Be ready for bigger and better spoilers, it is time for them to start really coming out. OK, I have not yet read any of this, I am not ready to at this time, I like to wait until I can't wait anymore.

Soooo.........I have no idea what is being said in the mag pages. I would treat this as medium to major spoiler info, until I or someone else read them and we know for sure. You have to click on the link to see the pics, then click the pics to make them larger.

Grey's Anatomy and CSI fans that do not want to see spoilers, be very careful reading the second page with Sawyer on it, on the right of the page there are blurbs about 'McDreamy' from Grey's and Warrick from CSI.

I'll probably make it only til tomorrow (Tues) before I will just HAVE to read the LOST article and look at the pics!! Choochie, don't look at these yet. :)

Latest from Kristin
Thanks to Lyly for the following.

Wendell in Miami: The "radio silence" is killing me! Do you have anything at all to report on Lost?
That makes two of us! I can only tell you that Robin Weigert, who plays Juliet's cancer-kickin' (or did she?) sister, Rachel, has a gut feeling she's going to be back on the show. Robin told me during a visit to her new show, Life, that although nothing has been set in stone: "I think that character will definitely be back at some point, as I think will all of the flashback characters, because there will inevitably be a point when people reconnect. We've seen a flash-forward which shows some folks have made it off the island, reconnect with their loved ones. Beyond that, I don't know."

Here's hoping we see her alive and well and with the little one! In the meantime, make sure you tune into that other four-lettered L-word show, Life. (And be sure to check out our set visit on the Vine.)

Dominic in Milwaukee: How does the possible writer's strike effect Lost in February? Thanks!
The good news is that the Lost writers didn't take much of a break at all between seasons, and production started in July as usual, despite the delayed season-premiere launch date. So, if the strike does go down, Lost might be one of the few shows we'll still be seeing after the other series' eps run dry. It'll be that and the rebirth of sterling reality series like The Littlest Groom and Who's My Daddy? (If we don't have Lost, I might go work at Starbucks.)

Ginger in Chicago: Got anything Losty? I'm not too proud to take scraps.
You and me both, sister. Jorge Garcia confirmed to thefuselage.com that there will be a death in season four. Yeek! Anybody got a guess? If so, comment below. I've heard many of the castmembers are now living off the island full-time, flying in for episodes, which doesn't exactly help me sleep well at night. (I'm pretty sure Evangeline, Josh, Matthew and Daniel are still residing in Hawaii, but not sure of the others.)

Andrea Roth joins cast
Thanks to Neil, Sulky and Xeon for sending me this info from TV Guide.

Is Rescue Me's Tommy Gavin about to suffer yet another personal tragedy? Reliable sources close to Lost confirm to me exclusively that Andrea Roth — aka Denis Leary's long-suffering spouse on Rescue Me — is joining the cast in a recurring role. Details about her character are being kept under wraps, but a recent Lost casting notice went out for a female character in her mid 30s described as "a tough, no-nonsense and beautiful" therapist who has a tendancy to be "overly controlling and obsessive." Sounds like a no-brainer to me.

Although I haven't been able to confirm the exact number of Lost episodes Roth will appear in, I imagine she'll be able fulfill her committment and still return to Rescue Me — that is, if there is a Rescue Me to return to. FX hasn't officially renewed the show for a fifth season. Assuming that it will be back, production will likely resume in early '08 — which would leave Roth plenty of time to squeeze in a juicy little arc on Lost.

Thoughts? Is Rescue Me's potential loss Lost's gain? I vote "Yes!"

Thanks J. Sucks that they didn't do the whole seaon because from what I have heard, if the shows have no more, then this season is done and next season isn't looking very promising. I just wish the writers could get back to work!!! I need my TV!!!

heya, Wayne. :)

I would just post a link to the info so people can choose if they really want to know or not and decide if they want to click on it or not. Sometimes people don't want to see stuff out in the open, even in spoilers. :)

When I posted spoilers here, it didn't seem to be of interest to 99% of the members here.

So now ALL the good spoilers can be found at Fliippie's forum here (http://www.flipittypes.com/forums/) or at my forum here, (http://www.takeforum.com/karma/index.php?mforum=karma) I keep both updated every day. :D

Okay, I'll make the font teeny and white so those who don't want to know can just bypass it and those who DO want to know can highlight it with their mouse....

From EW.com:

As for Ben, we now know how he wound up in his Dharma parka in the Tunisian desert at the start of ''The Shape of Things to Come'': Apparently, that's where he landed after he moved the Island. The date: October 24, 2005, or about 10 months from when Ben moved the Island. So...where did the Island go? Nowhere. My guess is that it's in the same spot where it's always been — it just rematerialized in reality 10 months in the future, just like Ben.

I totally agree that the island was moved in time, not location - which is also why it's so hard for Jack to figure out how to get back.

You people are giving me a sick headache!!! So, if Jack wants to go back, he has to go to the future? ... where the island is now? ... or back to the past, before the island was moved? ..... they must have to go to the past in order for Locke to live again... right?

.... oh fuck, where's Doc Brown when ya need him?

From what I've been reading, it sounds like the island is in October of 2005 - because that's when Ben lands in the desert. But only the Lost Gods know for sure :)

I don't understand why somebody can't go back to the island if it's been moved in time. Wouldn't it still be there? I mean, if you moved Chicago ahead in time, it's still in the same place that the old Chicago was, right? So why not the island?

Cherie
06-03-2008, 06:35 AM
I was wondering the same thing. That doesn't make sense to me. And they all SAW the Island dissappear. I'm so confused.

They have a tough time getting back because they're in THIS time and the island is in THAT time. So they need a time machine :) Future Jack might be able to get to the island, but Present Jack can't find it because he's not THERE yet. Duh. ;)

jampony
06-03-2008, 07:22 PM
So the island just sprang from the ocean in the last couple of years? Still doesn't make sense to me.

But here's another thought, totally unrelated... didn't we read somewhere that during this past season we would find out the meaning of the four-toed statue? Was it even shown this season?

WeBeLo
06-04-2008, 05:56 AM
I did read that we were supposed to find that out! I completely forgot about that... hopefully the writers didn't.

TinkerbellAPixie
06-04-2008, 09:46 AM
I went back and was rereading some of the spoilers on this thread now that season 4 was over (kinda wish I hadn't). It seems more than a few things that were spoilered either did not happen yet or maybe were never going to happen. I don't doubt that they feed some false spoilers to the net just to throw people off the scent of what is really going on.

Also, didn't they say that they had to condense this season because of the writer's strike, so as a result some of the things planned for this season will have to wait until next year?

chooch850
06-04-2008, 05:52 PM
I did the same thing Tink... went back and read those damn spoilers I've avoided all season. They really weren't that informative.... but had I read them then, I might have felt alot different. I also went back and read the finale thread from S#3 and all the doubts and speculations for S#4. Things that we thought at the time were the way the storyline would go, didn't happen at all. No one thought Danielle would end up dead or Alex for that matter and the gereral concensus was that Michael was in the coffin. I think you are right tho, about the shortened story. We didn't see all they planned. I think we were suppose to see more of Locke with the Others at the temple..... maybe that's where the 4-toed statue was suppose to come into play.....
