Didn't see a thread for All My Children so I thought I'd start one. I hope I'm not the only one who watches it!
I've been watching since I was a little kid. Way too many years to try to recap so I'll start with what's happening now.
This whole Erica/Jackson crap is on my last nerve. She never wants him when she has him, as soon as he's gone, she's in love with him. I'm back and forth with Greenlee but if she had taken my child my first reaction would have been to kill her. Now they're trying to make Annie look like a nut and I don't like it. Can't anyone on this show have a normal relationship for more than five minutes?

I started watching AMC when I was a little kid. One summer we were staying at my granny's and she watched religiously. I watched it up until College. With it I watch One Life to Live and GH. In College I got hooked on Days and watched it until they had one too many Romans and John Blacks - that's when I gave up soaps for good.

Funny to hear that Erica and Jackson are still up to something. I saw the actor who used to play Jackson (not sure if it's still him) in a Comedy Club a few years back - he had the filthiest, perviest comedy set I have ever heard.

Erica and Jackson finally got married a couple of years ago but they are already divorced, but still "seeing" each other. It is a soap after all!
You probably did see"Jackson". He does stand up in his spare time. His name is Walt Willey. I've never seen him but I've heard he's pretty nasty. Kind of along the lines of Bob Saget from Full House. I saw him on HBO and almost passed out. I had NO IDEA he was that "dirty" since all I knew him from was the show.
I still watch One Life to Live but then I switch to CBS and Guiding light. I never watched GH but everybody I know does.

I don't know if anyone watches One Life To Live but we have a sort of cross over story going on. Kendalls son Spike is deaf but she won't accept it so Erica brought a kid on her show who is deaf to show Kendall that he's just like every other kid. The kid who is playing the deaf kid is in real life the son of Kassie DePaiva (Blair OLTL) and James DePaiva (ex-Max OLTL). He is deaf in real life and has implants that help him to hear. It's a neat story line.

i too started watching AMC when i was a kid. my grandma, mom, and sisters all watch it. i think its interesting that all of us on this thread started watching soaps when we were young. the thing that i love about AMC (and all soaps in general) is that you can not watch for a month at a time, tune in one day, and know exactly whats going/who everyone is.

the whole spike story line is interesting in that they havent really ever done a plot like that before. its refreshing in that sense. although my favorite storylines are when there is a serial killer on the loose!

I like the serial killer stuff too although AMC tends to drag them out a little long sometimes. Hint- I get overly involved in the story lines!
What ever they've got going with Annie right now is sure to turn into a serial killer-ish story. I'm a few days behind so I've got some catching up to do.
I really don't like the whole Zach-Hannah did they or didn't they storyline. Not sure why they brought her back, I DON'T LIKE HER!

Like I said I'm a few days behind on this show so my comments will reflect that.
I thought I was gonna die when Krystal was coming on to Stuart. She thought it was Adam and was trying to get him to admit it. I love David Canary even if I hate his character Adam most of the time. When he plays Stuart he is adorable!
And what has happened to my Tad? He used to be drop dead gorgeous. He's gained some weight and just doesn't look like the same Tad. I still love him but gaining weight and aging is a no-no. Doesn't he know that he's supposed to stay exactly as hot as he used to be if he is going to remain my imaginary love interest! The nerve!

I think I'm actually starting to like Greenlee with Aidan. They are cute together. And funny. WTF is up with Annie? That is getting creepy! Laying on the couch with a knife singing "Ring Around The Rosey". Why do they have to make normal seeming people into nut jobs? I really hope it's not because they are going to push Ryan and Greenlee back together. I would hate that.

Still behind on the soap but so far AMC has apparently decided to make Annie and Kendall nuts. I think Kendall is planning to kill Greenlee. And Annie is all over the place. Does her brother have anything to do with all the crazy stuff thats been happening or is she crazy? My bet's on the new guy that showed up at Krystals bar. He's a little too cute and cuddley for me. Gotta be a serial killer!

J.R. is back to his old tricks. Not surprised by that. I don't like him and Ava together and you know they are going to be together. It took a long time for me to like Jonathon(sp?) and now they are going to hurt him. Why do I keep watching? Because I have no life. *sigh*
So Annie's brother is the new guy Wes. And he's attatched himself to Babe. And he's a monster! This story might just be about to get good.
