I for one was surprised to see SJP as a guest judge last night. For all the celeb gossip I read, I didn't catch wind of that ahead of time.
I thought most of the teams did a great job and was amazed how well they all worked together. If I were Sweet P, I would have spit marked Elisa, but they did really well in the end. At least Elisa can bring some talent with her crazy. As she said, she came from another planet, but she brought gifts. Too funny!
I said that Marion's model looked like Pocahontas before Michael Kors did, but of course that wasn't a difficult assessment. He was certainly the best choice for elimination. At the same time, if Christian doesn't start listening to anyone's feedback, he's not long for this competition, which is too bad, because I sort of love him.
Finally, everyone needs to stop crying. Ricky was bawling off and on the whole show, Chris cried when he saw SJP, and Carmen cried when she had to say that Christian should go. As my husband said, 'What is this, Project Tearducts?"

While I thought the dress was that won was really cute, I thought that little vest was just dumb and added nothing. But all the judges and Tim thought it was adorable, so what do I know?
And I love how Tim told Christian to make sure his outfit was 2007, and he wouldn't change a bit. And then the judges jumped all over him for being too retro. Don't the contestants ever watch previous seasons? Always take Tim's advice!

Except for last week when Tim didn't like the back of Christian's jacket because the pattern didn't line up and the editors made a point of showing the judges saying how the loved the jacket, especially the back. I thought that was really interesting.

It didn't seem to me that the vest went with the dress at all, but I could see SJP wearing it. I basically liked all the designs. There was nothing horrendeous. The loser dress may have even been cute with different fabric and color.
I agree with hubby, Rach.... the crying was a tad overboard....but Chris was kinda cute being all speechless over meeting his idol.
spit marks....hmmmmm... were they logeys or foam?

marion's dress was awful! i wish they had sent both of those guys home (marion & squinty guy)! so far i have agreed with everyone that they have auf'ed... lets hope that continues.
i have been rewatching the old seasons of PR - i remember when it was on that i hated Santino and wanted him voted off each week. but now he is my favorite! i get excited when i see that its his season.
i loved that SJP was the judge - she seemed like she was excited to be on the show as well.
next week - MK repeats my favorite line of all time "that crotch is INSANE!"

AC I feel the same way about Santino. He cracked me up, but I didn't think he was the best. Sitting down and watching the whole season changed my mind.

After the previews last week, I predicted to my husband that SJP would be the style icon. GOD!! Why didn't I write it here?? I have these weird little predictions all the time and never say anything!
Anyway, I liked both the winners dress (I don't know their names yet) and the cape that kooky lady made.
This is probably my favorite show on the tube right now.
Christians dress was so awful. I, too, was noticing how he was so defensive and kept saying "I love it" "It's perfect".
It was so bad- totally 1982.

I totally turned in to a fan girl (no tears like some of them but I did surprise myself with a little yelp of joy) when I saw SJP was the guest judge. She seemed very sweet and down to earth. I loved it when she asked the designers if they wouldn't mind designing an outfit for her instead of just telling them what to do. How charming!

Finally saw the repeat of this on Monday night. Have to agree with the winning and losing looks, except, I didn't mind that little vest thing so much - but anyone with boobs would never be able to wear it - but didn't get the bow thingy around her neck.
Have to agree too - way too many tears. What is up with the guy with the wierd hats? Can he not say a word without crying? He needs to go before he drives me to do something drastic like throw things at my TV.
Spit marks? I come from another planet with gifts? That woman is just too out there! :w00t: Makes for great TV though, she will stick around for awhile.
Couldn't believe how incredibly ugly that dress/jacket thing that Christian made was. Or how dumpy it made his model look.
People designing for the "everday woman" (who says that anyway?) should remember that most woman can't (and shouldn't) wear short and tight. Some of those outfits were just too out there to be taken seriously.
