I am so glad TAR hired a clown to celebrate Jen's 5th birthday!
How funny is it that Jen still isn't sure where her relationship with Nate is headed? They are both delusional. They shouldn't be together, and they probably shouldn't be with anyone else, either!
Why oh why did nearly every racer decide to wear a hat or a bandanna to the pit stop on this leg? (This is a Fantasy Amazing Race reference for anyone not playing).
I don't want Moronald and Christina to win. Not only is he a terrible human being, but I don't like her, either.
Gramps continues to grow on me, but his grandson is so nerdy it's hard to get behind them.
Go, TK and Rachel!

I luv ya Lonna but I hafta disagree with you about Ronald. He's not that bad a guy, he was just cranky and stubborn at first. Set in his ways.... he's come a long way baby!
I'm hoping Grandpa & Nick win, but I'm not crazy about the Hippies. They are way too dull.
....REALLY glad Jen got the heave-ho on her birthday, Tickled me to no end..... altho I do admit, they were fun to watch.
Only one more show (*sigh*)... and "Survivor: Fans vs. Faves" starts Feb.

Was so happy to see the Bickerson's be plilimnated. Of course all of this was going on with me on the phone with Verizon because my DVR reset itself at 7:00 sharp...I've lost everything recorded since 1/3 grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. They reset my box twice more during the show so I was running from the den to my bedroom to follow his freaking instructions and watch the show.
Glad the hippies made it. They might be dull as dishwater, but they are happy and actually respect each other.
Reallly though, I'd be happy with any of them winning at this point. I'm glad Ron has settled down. And Gramps, how cool to be so old and kick some young butt.

Gramps and The Kid are so lucky that Jen thought the subway would be faster. I loved how she tried to deny it was her idea. She was so shrill and such a crybaby, so glad they are gone.
The hippies aren't the most exciting team, but they seem to actually be enjoying their trip around the world. I just wish TK would shave his head, he would be so cute without those ugly dread like things on his head.

No worries, Chooch. We can agree to disagree!

I was so happy to see those two get eliminated I did the dance of joy. My only disappointment was that I was looking forward to more of a Jen meltdown when they got the news from Phil. If they had won, it would have sucked the fun out of life for a while. I like all three teams left, in this order: Ronald and Christina, Nick and Don, and the hippies. I've always liked Christina, and I admire how her Dad has settled down over time. In this case, it really seems like being on the race did bring them closer together. I don't think the same can said for Jen and her beau.
Oh, and my favorite part of the show was when Jen pronounced Taipei as "Tah-POW" like it was some 80s Saturday morning cartoon show. Then, they cut to Ronald who said something like "I think the other teams are smart," which was followed by Christina shaking her head no, as if to say "no they are not that smart" with a great sound effect. And Jen, bless her heart, kept prounouncing Taipei that way throughout the show. I won't miss them, even for the humor value. Good riddance.

You know --- son't they show the final three teams on the morning show.... I think they do....
so this is my wish.
The hippies will see how bad they looked on national telelvision and get a make over for the final....
seriously, who do you work for with hair like that?

I actually like the hippies. They did such a great job of making up the speed bump and getting into the race. Go TK and Rachel!!

And what a crazy speedbump that was. Not so sure I would have been nervy enough to do that.

Lamest speed bump ever! Well, okay. It's only the second one, right? But still... LAME! It took all of, what, three seconds? The goths had to learn a billion yoga positions!
Anyway, I agree with puttputt (welcom, btw!) -- that's the same order I have for my faves.
PS: The editors are doing a great job with making things funny. Remember last week (or two weeks ago?) when Nate said something about hoping they come in last and when Jen gave him the WTF face, they played a screeching record sound effect. That cracked me up.

This will go back to the ole question...
So they use non elimination legs and cherry pic easy speed bumps to keep teams in the game they want.
Jen and the punching bag winning would have been AWFUL for CBS. The might have just let Manson run the race and win.

I'm just so happy that Jen and Nate are gone I don't care who wins! Jen kept saying"I can't believe how mean you are" "I can't believe you just pushed me" "I can't believe blah blah blah!!!!"
I can't believe how stupid she is. No wait, yes I can!!

It's so funny you say that - I said exactly the opposite! The goths just had to do freaking yoga and the hippies had stuff SHOT at them!

Think about the Fast Forwards of the past too.....
some had to shave their heads....
some had to get tatoos
and Mary and David from Kentucky just had to walk out in fire suits with firemen... and pretend to put out a gas fire.
What were some other fast forewards?

I think they were nuclear towers and it was Romber who did that one.....

I kinda remember Romber coming to the FF second and watching the other team start to complete it. When they showed indecision about whether or not they should stay, Rob got mad at Amber for not making a decision.

Remember when Rob talked others into not eating a bowl full of ants or something... after he had already not eaten and began a one hour penalty... classic Rob.

It wasn't ants - it was 4 pounds of meat crawling with flies.

Drinking pig's blood in Translyvania. I think it was Lori and Bolo, the pro wrestlers, who did that one. UGH!!
And eating the bowlful of crickets and grasshoppers. The first, original hippies did that one. What were their names? BJ and Tyler, maybe?
