Well just finished watching the finale and it was exciting til the very end.

Gotta comment on something Ron said. He said that for the first time he can say "I love you" and mean it. Um, does that mean all the other times he told Christina, or her mom, that he loved them he didn't mean it?

Hopefully now that the race is over TK and Rachel can get a shower and a shampoo.

The goths looked as glamorous as ever at the end. Nice to see Girl Goth with both eyebrows again.

I was very happy with the final episode. It was very close and any team could have one, it all came down to the last road block. Kudos to Rachel for keeping her cool and figuring it out. Sometimes it pays (a cool 1/2 mill) to be mellow.

I was really impressed with Ron and Don scaling that glacier, that looked really hard. I hope Ron can carry his new attitude into his "real" life.

that final road block seemed really hard. i it would have taken me a long time even without all the mental fatigue and stress and what not!

so glad that tk & rachel won! they ran a great race and never seemed to bicker with each other. i'm glad that ron seemed to change for the better and that he got to bond with his daughter during the race. nick&don ran a great race too!

I was glad TK & Rachael won, but I thought Ron and Christina would.
That glacier climbing stuff was HARD! I'd still be sitting in the boat crying.
All in all it was a good season. And now I am sad........

Hang in there Cherie, Survivor is beginning soon, not to mention BB. You will soon have sensory overload and sugar highs. At that point who will have time for AI?

I just watched the episode (had to watch the Giants beat the Packers) and all I can say "holy crap!" What an awesome ending to an all-around good season. I can.t wait for the next one!

I'd be there with Cherie in the boat too. I'd never make it up that glacier...nor would I have made it into the helicopter.

I too was disappointed in the final stop. Come on production, it couldn't have been that hard to find something a little more attractive.

What a great finale! That final challenge had me on the edge of my seat. I thought they did a great job coming up with it-it seemed really hard to me. It was just a teensy bit uncomfortable, though, watching racers ask the cleaning man from Japan if he was an animal!

I don't believe for one second that Ron has really changed. They pounded us over the head with his relationship problems with his daughter all season long but I think it takes more than 11+ weeks racing around the world for a person to really change. I hope it's true, but I'm not buying it and I am so glad they didn't win.

I was rooting for TK and Rachel so I am very happy with the winners.

TK & Rachel were on Regis and Kelly this morning. She is actually cute! And she was clean and her hair was shiney and she had on cute clothes!
He looked the same.

They were on The Early Show yesterday and they both looked grungy. He had shorter hair but stll had it sticking out from the bandana at all angles. Her hair was piled on her head and sticking out. I am hoping they can use the mil to get some makeovers. Under all the muss i think there are two rather attractive people who just work really hard at hiding it.

I watched ARAS on FoxReality TV yesterday. It was the episode where Oswald & Danny got eliminated..... leaving the BQ's, Charla & Mirna, and Eric & Danielle. I loved this episode. It's the one where they went to Guam and had to use the GPS to find the landing spot...... anyhow, this show had comments from each team about what was happening during the race. It was great to see these guys again and listen to them explain how stupid they looked on TV.

I LOVED the finale task - I just wish it hadn't been a Roadblock - I think the finale task of a team-based race would be completed by the TEAM.

This was Tuesday morning and he had a stupid hat on like Tink said with straw hair sticking out but she had straight hair. Like it had been flat ironed or something. It made a world of difference.

When my kids were growing up we had a Disney video with older cartoons on it... Humpty Dumpty, a king building a tower to the sun because it was golden and he was greedy. Well in this video they had a song with the lyrics, "You are a human animal, you are a very special breed....you can talk, you can reason and beleive." (i'm pretty sure i got that right.)
Anyway, during the final show three of us here in Arizona were singing that song, it didn't help Christine though.:confused1:

YES! And before on the Early show they at least had the final three couples sitting in high directors chairs for a segment of two!! I feel rooked!!! Kynt and Vixen were in the background crowd and CBS did not even get a close up so we could see if Kynt grew a pair. :scared:

You know, maybe I am alone in this, but I never really thought TK and Rachel looked all that dirty. Their hair certainly wasn't overly clean, but I work with people on a daily basis who don't seem to shampoo very often, either and even though it doesn't look very nice and is a little gross, it's not terrible. Sometimes, when I look at someone on the street, on TV, in a photo, etc., I feel like I can tell just by looking if they smell bad. Just like every time I see Diane Keaton I could swear that she has bad breath! TK and Rachel didn't really look like they were dirty. There was no dirt under their fingernails, nothing really obvious. I imagine everyone gets a little dirty on the course of the race, but I was never grossed out by how they looked or how I imagined they might smell. They just seemed like two nice people who could benefit from better hairstyles. And I think Rachel is pretty.

Lonna, I think we all just wanted him to bust out the fabuloso make over and wow us so we could drool appropriately. We actually watch way to much of the "I want to make you a super model" shows to be a good judge of people and their personal style. I like TK because he did not lose his mind.

LOL @ Diane Keaton's bad breath! I do the same thing. To me Omarosa smells, like evil.
TK & Rachel looked a little dirty to me probably because of their hair. I have hair phobia's. And when I saw Rachel on Regis it just looked so clean! The video doesn't show it as well as it looked. Plus she had makeup on and she looked really pretty.
