More questions! I swear, this show drives me nuts, in a good way. I had so many things to comment on but now I can't remember any, except this: what was the significance of the bracelet on Elsa and Naomi? I'm assuming Sayid gave it to them, but I don't get the Naomi connection.

Next week: hot and steamy kate and sawyer sex!

Thought of something else... Ben wouldn't be considered one of the Oceanic Six, right? Also, do we have any idea if the person who died at the end of last season (when the flash forward was revealed) was one of the six? It could have been Juliet or Ben. Or Desmond! *sob*

Well it couldnt of been Juliet becouse it was refierd to as "his" funeral. I personally think it was John Lock. Nobody was at the viewing, and John’s whole life seams to be one lonely tragedy. Jack said he wasn’t a relative or a friend. Kate said “why would I be at the funeral!?” Neither of them seem to like however it was. My guess is he is forced off the island after whatever big thing is about to happen. But chances are I’m wrong. The best thing about this show is it ALWAYS throws me for a loop. Like Sayid killing that guy on the golf course, and working for Ben.

It looks like Kate is some sort of a pseudo celebrity. Which means she is no longer running. I bet with whatever “deal” (My theory) they make with Ben (It looks like) to get off the island she is offered some sort of pardon. Or maybe they hired professionals to botch the case against her, dismissing it on some sort of technicality. Or who the hell knows?

But the biggest mystery is the cold heartedness of Ben toward Sayid. Like Sayid is his new bitch. What could have happened to break a hard ass like Sayid?

I can't say it enough..... this is the best show on TV! OMG.... It was all about Sayid. It's been a long time coming. He's so virile, so masculine, so damn HOT!

When Daniel signaled the boat and asked Regina to send the capsule and it didn't come when it should have....... and then a little bit later, it shows up and (I thought it was gonna hit the helicopter at first) one timer says 2:45:03 and the other says 3:16:22, (31min. & 25sec....right?) it was just like Doc Brown's experiment with Einstein in "Back to the Future." Smells like time travel to me. (That little rocket should have been too hot to pick up right away.)

The bracelet on Naomi said: N. I'll always be with you RG. They don't show what the other bracelet says, only show enough to make us realize they are the same.

I really want to see what all is in Ben's house. Why doesn't anyone else except Sayid. Just like the house Mikail was at... all that stuff...... I don't get how hostile our Losties are to each other all of a sudden..... just because some went with Jack...... and where are those kids! At least they finally cleaned the blood off of Ben's face.

I think Hurley tricking Sayid is what he was talking about to Jack in the gym. He made the wrong choice by doing that and it somehow changes everything.

"I can't believe it's been a hundred days since I've seen a game."

.....and it was a perfect ending..... don't ya think?

I didn't get to see the ep. NIU is just about 25 miles from my house, and so the first 30 minutes of Lost was cut off due to a live news conference to update us about... absolutely nothing. Ugh. They held about 15 half-hour news conferences yesterday and each one said the exact same thing... someone (not a student) showed up at a classroom, shot a bunch of students, and then himself, no motive known. At first it was OMFG I CAN'T BELIEVE IT, then it was OMG WOW THAT SUX, and by the end it was OMFG WILL YOU GUYS GET OFF MY TV UNTIL YOU HAVE SOMETHING OF SUBSTANCE TO SAY?

Anyone wanna fill me in? I was way confused because I missed the first 30 mins and my DVR was kind enough to cut off the last 2 mins. :crying: Will the ep be posted on ABC.com eventually?

So when Elsa's boss calls her, she says, you were supposed to call me at 10:30. He was 30 minutes late. Just like the rocket was late getting to the island. Maybe her boss is on the island?? Idk.

Another question...how the F did Sayid end up working for Ben? Especially when he said he would sell his soul before ever being on Ben's side about anything. Hmmmm

Now THAT was a fricking awesome episode! I am not Sayid's biggest fan and when I realized it was a Sayid episode, I was disappointed. But only for about two seconds. It was GREAT. I love this show.

That's interesting. NIU is about 40 minutes from my house and ABC didn't pre-empt it. I wouldn't have minded if they did, though. Besides the fact that I can always watch the episode online (usually the next day, I think), I try not to get upset when news cuts into my shows because even though I've seen the information already, it could be new info to someone just tuning in; maybe even a family member or a close friend.

Good point! I wondered what was up that "payload" situation. I didn't notice that the boss was 30 minutes late, too.

Did Sayid give Elsa a bracelet or did she already have one? Cause if she already had one I'm guessing it came from Creepy guy from the mental ward Abbadon, and he gave Naomi one too. His name means a Devil. Google it. You'll see. "I am always with you" could mean "I'm always watching you." Which is just plain creepy.

I wonder if it ultimately comes down to Ben and Abbadon that are at war.

No, Ben, Juliet and Desmond are not part of The Oceanic 6, as they were not in the plane. Doesn't mean they don't leave The Island, though. No spoilers there, just my thoughts. :) We do know that it's a man in the coffin. A man from NY who died in LA. Michael is from NY, I soooo hope it's him, but for LOST, that seems a little too easy.

When Ben asked him if he wanted to keep his friends protected or safe (or whatever he said), I took it to mean ALL of them, the ones that leave The Island and the ones that don't.
But mostly I think it's the ones that left. With that Abbadon guy around and going to see Hurley, I think the ones that leave have their lives go to shit, except Kate, she seemed good.

My favorite was when Sawyer said...."Let's point the gun at his big toe, and if he doesn't tell us who the man on the boat is, we'll send that little piggy to the market. If he still doesn't answer, we'll move on to the roast beef."

Oh, and "Awesome, the ship sent us another Sawyer." hehe

Roadtripper - I couldn't disagree more about Sayid's hair- I loved his long flowy hair and far prefer it to the ringlets on the island. He looked so damned sexy in his slick suit. Man sure can clean up.

H4B - I believe the full episode will be available on ABC.com. You have to watch it - having us tell it will nowhere near do it justice.

So furious at Hurley for tricking our Losties. I can totally understand Sawyer's reasons for not wanting to leave the island. So cute - we have beds ;)

I don't think so. I thought the four "rescuers" all just met each other on the boat. But there IS some connect, I just don't understand it. Naomi was carrying the picture of Penny and Desmond but it wasn't Penny who hired Naomi. Unless Penny hired the guy who hired Naomi. I dunno.

sawyer was sooo damn cute this episode! like boyfriend cute (cause he is always hot). seriously! i usually dont enjoy the kate sawyer jack love triangle BUT i really thought that sawyer and kate were very believable in this episode. i would have jumped sawyer's bones when he came into the bedroom!!

sayid, soo hot as well. i love when he is all badass and playing up his torturer background. i really want to know why he is working for ben. and ben was all evil again. love it.

the bracelets did look the same. obviously there is some connection between her and naomi. i cant wait til wednesday again!

I think this whole "rescue" has something to do with Penny and Desmond. I still think that her dad, "Mr. Widmore" has more to do with all this than everyone is remembering. Desmond's flashbacks are the ones that showed time travel when the old woman knew what would happen to the man on the street just before it happened.
