soooo i really wanted chris to make it fashion week. i cant believe that he used human hair- that was kind of cool and unexpected.

rami's was interesting but it didnt make me want to see more. plus he already has his own business & showroom. oh well, congrats rami.

i still hope christian wins!

Wow..... Chris' collection of human hair was down right creepy! Just the fact that it was people hair. If it had been goat hair like Heidi thought, I wouldn't have given it a second thought..... but human hair brought to mind serial killers and Indian scalpings!!!!

The best part was Tim visiting Chris and trying to give him an apt metaphor for his designs using smelly monkeys. The longer you live with them the less they smell. It was classic!!

Rami is just so DULL!

I too loved the monkey house reference. The human hair didn't creep me out so bad once he clarified that he used hair extensions bought in a store. The safety pin skirt was amazing.

Rami is so dull all the way around. He is a snooze fest to me, but I am sure he will dress plenty of celebrities around award times.

I hope the fierce little Christian wins it all!

Speaking of Rami, how friggin' stone-faced were his friends? During that convo Tim was trying to have with Rami and his homies I thought I heard crickets.

Jillian's stuff looked pretty solid with the whole 15th century armor thing.

I liked Chris.s more, but of course anything he does that is outside the box is going to be too "costumey" b/c of his background as a costume designer.

I really liked Jillian.s stuff, I think she might be able to pull the upset!

I really liked Chris's stuff - it was innovative and wearable. The hair kind of grossed me out, but then I don't like fur, so human or not, I would have felt grossed out. The safety pin skirt was very cool.

Rami was just stupid Rami. That coat was horrid and that dress that Nina was raving over was fugly too - it did not do anything for the look of that model.

I didn't see the reunion show (I HATE those things), but who took home the big check? That is a real indicator of who will NOT be our big winner.

Christian won the $10,000 for "Fan Favorite".

All I can say is : BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

I liked Chris's stuff SO much better. It was unusual and innovative and was unexpectedly beautiful, but still had some eccentricity, so it was perfect for him. I was so sad that Rami *(yawn/ zzzz) made it. :(

I am so bummed out that they picked Rami over Chris. Looking at the coat that Rami made and some of the shirts that Christian made...they have the same look. That puffy puffy thing going on. Sorry, so not into "volume" I think it makes any girl with breasts and a butt look like a cow.

On the Blogging Project Runway boards, someone brought up a good point that it is not particularly fair that Rami had a chance to have his pieces critiqued before the final runway by the judges and therefore make alterations to those pieces or leave them out entirely if they hated them (which he may or may not have done, but no spoilers). That being said, it might have been best for them to have required that the winner (be it Chris or Rami) have had to use those three pieces unaltered in the final show OR that Christian and Jillian could have also had three pieces critiqued ahead of time.

Rami is an entitled piece of shit, Chris should have beaten Rami, and if Rami takes home the final prize, PR has lost me forever.

For some reason, I just keep thinking that I heard Rami referred to as the PR Seaon (whatever) winner somewhere -before the season shows even started.

I will be with you Rach - in the you have lost me section if that is true. He stunk it up all season and Chris so should have beat him in the run-off. Chris's stuff, for all that is was a bit over the top, was well made and looked wearable. Rami's was just awful and that drapey dress thing that the judges kept exclaiming over? Can you say FUGLY??? No actual woman with hips and a chest could wear that.

I wonder if PR had to get rid of Chris because he was kicked out before and how could they let him win?... they would FOREVER be answering this question...
HOw do you know you have not kicked out grand prize winners before?
It reminds me of the agrument for/against the death penalty. So to stay away from the argument they got rid of Chris when they could.

I am hooking my wagon upto the Christian pack of horses. Julianne.... her voice drives me nuts and the ways she moves her mouth drives me nuts, and her all star, always the winner, bright star up bringing drives me nuts.... and Remi..... shouldn't even be there.

Didn't they all have their work critiqued by Tim when he visited? Am I missing something?

I am talking about the critique from the judges that Chris and Rami got on the runway during their showdown. Jillian and Christian did not benefit from that. And you might notice that the blue jacket that they all hated Rami did not use. As great as Tim is, you will also notice that his opinion is often different from the judges, and so getting pre-final show critique from them is quite a prize. It's the difference between having your voice coach critique your performance for AI before you go out or having Simon tell you what he thinks. But even moreso, because the judges actually decide who wins.
