The only season I watched was BB6. It totally consumed my life, watching the live feeds...discussing on forums...reading recaps. I don't know if I can handle being so involved in a show like that again. I'll probably watch BB7, but I doubt i'll watch the live feeds (unless I read on here that they are awesome and well worth the time).

Any thoughts on which past HG's will be on?

My Dream Team Cast for All Star Big Brother

Will Mega (S1) - first person to be voted out because stupid America didn't want drama, well now we WANT the drama! The main reason why the producers banned us from voting.

Bunky (S2) - He'll burst into tears for whatever reason on every single episode.

Justin (S2) - kicked out of the house because he threaten someone with a knife! Alcohol + sharp objects = fun!

Evil Dr. Will (S2) - Well he's E-V-I-L and he did win his season!

Amy (S3) - Everyone LOVES a drunk Southern Belle who loves cheese! CHEESE!

Danielle (S3) - Master Schemer... the reason why they banned hang signals in the house when she used sign language to scheme.

Marcellas (S3) - he's just damn entertaining to watch especially when he went crazy in the house and started talking to his gnome.

Alison (S4) - nutjob who made us suffer seeing her on Amazing Race

Jun (S4) - winner of 4th season and master schemer

Adria/Natalie (S5) The Twin Twist Tandem!

Holly (S5) - just because there's no one stupider on the planet

Jase (S5) - vital member of the Four Horsemen Alliance and really talented with a hair crimper.

Jennifer (S5) - inventor of the Five Finger Plan which would later become the strategy of "back dooring" nominations.

Scott (S5) - just because he hates Jase and probably wears dirty underwear as seen on Surreal Life

Eric (S6) - Cappy (I threw up a little in my mouth)

Howie (S6) - He made us all want to become a Jedi

Janelle (S6) - smarter than she lets on and America's sweetheart

Kaysar (S6) - King Kaysar!!! What up Kaysar!

I just picked all the people that made an impression on me and have lasting memories of from their season.

I have only watched "Big Brother" since Season 5...that is one of the reasons I am looking forward to "All Stars," so that I can enjoy the best players from the seasons I never saw!

I personally hope that only a few from last season make it on...James and Janelle are the only two who REALLY deserve it. Kaysar and Howie are definately overrated, in my opinion.

Double L, I like the way you think. Along those lines I would add Scott from season 4... you rememeber, the guy who was expelled because he raged and threw chairs then blamed it on his genital warts. I've tried that line before too and it never works. I feel for you Scott.

Considering how popular Kaysar is/was, he would likely be targeted in the first week. I'm thinking the only BB6'ers that have a chance to make it (and the only ones that would want to be on) are Janelle, Kaysar, James, and Howie.

Tabby Lavalamp

I hope BB comes up with something better than the PB&J punishment. Maybe they could insert product placement food...one week would be Oscar Meyer B-O-L-O-G-N-A...next week would be Chicken of the Sea tuna, etc.

Maybe they could do an on-line contest of who will gain the most weight during their stay in the house. Then we could watch our favorite eating at all hours of the day and night.

Have the houseguests do a commerical each week, like they do on American Idol, but instead of Auto Manufacturers it would be for the Drug Companies. Howie for Viagra - need I say more?!

I can't wait....

It was actually weird to see Julie being kinda flirty and giggly but in that trademarked robotic way.

Have any of you seen that commercial with the history of talking computers. It has HAL, Robbie the robot from Lost in Space, Rosie from Jetsons, Kit the Knight Rider car and the War Games computer - but no Chenbot. The commercial just seems incomplete without her.

I'd actually like to see Ivette back in. I've come to be a fan with the way she's taken everything after the season, taking as good as she gave during the show.

LOL, I just remember her as annoying as the pic of her they feature at TVGasm... Couldn't stand her in the house, don't want to see her again.

Which one was the shorty who lied to everyone and then acted like she had no idea what they were talking about? The one who backstabbed Kaysar in that box challenge... Definitely don't want her back.

It's funny how definite I am about the people I don't want back, but very wishy-washy about who I DO want back... :p

Tabby Lavalamp
05-30-2006, 05:50 AM
Jennifer. I couldn't stand her eye-rolling, but I'd love to see her back due to the havok that would wreak all over the Internet. :D

Also, I said this then and I still stand by it... The only reason she got as much grief as she did over what she did to Kaysar was because it was Kaysar. If she did the same thing to Maggie, to this day she'd be hailed as a hero of the season.

jennilicious
05-30-2006, 07:16 AM
You are probably so right about Jen, Tabby. If she had done her little lying and decieving and ousted Maggie or someone from the friendsheep, she may have been just as popular as Jayney. I doubt it though because she still just kind of inherently sucked :)
It would be great to have some of the really hated HG's in all stars though, just to make things more interesting. I hope Jase is there! haha

Pekmboyd
05-30-2006, 08:30 AM
I'd be pretty surprised if any of the Friendsheep take the offer to come back on the show - it must have been quite the shock to come out of the house and realize how hated they really were. The Johnny Fairplays of the world planned to be hated, and I think James was probably prepared for people not to like him, but these guys weren't. I actually started to feel bad for some of them, except Jennifer. My mother told me if I made faces like that it'd freeze that way.

Tabby Lavalamp
05-30-2006, 09:40 AM
I'd still love to see Ivette back in. I've become a huge fan of hers since the season ended, what with the way she's handled the negativity and that she can take as much as she gave.
I think the biggest problem last season wasn't the people, it was the new house. It's just too big, and there is too much room for the alliances to isolate themselves from each other, creating the atmosphere that breeds the negativity we saw.

Anticipation anxiety is a classic symptom of BBFever.

I swear I have been having Dr. Will sightings...first at the gas station, then ordering a Strawberry Nirvana at the Jamba Juice and just the other day I could have sworn he was in the 10 items or less line at the grocery store (and of course he had 11 items!).

I don't subscribe to the live feeds until the last two weeks, when they offer a free two week trial offer. I'm glued to Hamster Watch and Jokers to keep UTD on the what's happening.

I wasn't sure exactly, so I picked this up off the CBS site

For the first time in BIG BROTHER history worldwide, viewers will vote on which former HouseGuests will compete in BIG BROTHER 7: ALL-STARS. On CBS Wednesday, June 21 at 8PM ET/PT, Julie Chen will unveil the top 20 candidates from seasons past. Web voting opens right here after the show at midnight ET/9PM PT. The polls close Wednesday, June 28 at 11:59PM ET/8:59PM PT

All 20 candidates will be present when Julie Chen announces the ALL-STARS HouseGuests on the season premiere, Thursday, July 6 at 8PM ET/PT. BIG BROTHER 7: ALL-STARS will follow the relationships and conflicts of players who live together in a house outfitted with dozens of cameras and microphones recording their every move 24 hours a day. One by one, the HouseGuests will vote each other out of the house. At the end of three months, the last remaining HouseGuest will receive the Grand Prize of $500,000. While living together in a confined space won't be anything new to the HouseGuests, choosing between any pre-existing relationships and building new alliances could be a challenge. As always, CBS.com will be your destination for exciting new interactive features, along with all the hottest BIG BROTHER info, including the 24/7 live video feed, Revenge of the HouseGuests blog, episode synopses, HoH Snapshots and much more.

If I wasn't afraid of TVgasm tracking ip addresses and outting me in the forums as a big, fat fraud, I would have created a fake account to make this announcement. Geez, I can't believe I'm about to admit this, but, okay, here goes... I've never seen an episode of Big Brother. Ever.

*crickets*

Whew! I feel better now. So I'm wondering... since this season is full of all-stars, would this be a good season for me to start watching, or will it just be too confusing since I won't know anyone anyway? Should I even bother?

jennilicious
06-23-2006, 08:22 PM
That was so brave, jampony. You did the right thing though. Baby steps..:)
You absolutely should start watching this year. BB is notorious for the 5 minutes of previouslys, so if there's any doubt about any person or their actions, they'll show fifteen scenes from previous episodes to explain stuff. And then they might do it again on the next show just for kicks. They're good like that. Plus, you can go on the cbs site to vote and watch little video clips of the houseguests when they were houseguests and now. It's not that hard to catch up :) Just give it a try, I think you'll enjoy it. Plus, the recaps around here are greatness.

There's an article on realityblurred.com about the Australian Big Brother. Apparently, one of the male contestants held down a female contestant. Then a different male contestant rubbed his crotch in her face. Both male contestants were kicked off the show. What kind of pigs are they when they don't have cameras following their every move? It also said in the article that the police watched the footage, but don't have enough "evidence" to press charges. The Prime Minister of Australia wants them to cancel the entire program. Has anything this gross ever happened on the American Big Brother? This will be the first season I have ever watched, so I have no idea.

^^^^Thanks for the links Honeybunny and Firecat. I watched the interview, I still think those two guys are pigs. Even after knowing someone for 70 days, I would not want to be "turkey-slapped" by some reality show dingbat. I know I sound prissy, but that just really grossed me out.

Anyway, the toothbrush incident was even more disturbing. Did that Hardy guy ever come done with a nasty virus or flu?

And, on a related note, who cleans the Big Brother house? Do they have a cleaning service, or does it just get filthier like the Real World houses?

If I remember right, the Big Brother producers made her admit the toothbrush thing before he had a chance to use it. I think the producers of BB are smarter about stepping in (like when a fight is breaking out) than the Australian BB producers must be - or the Real World producers are (ie, Ruthie driving drunk). If a man holds a woman down against her will (and I haven't seen it, there is some assumption here), it's time to step in, regardless of the situation just to be safe. They have some responsibility to keep the houseguests safe from each other. I think the big reason the Australian incident made the news is because the PM made a statement about wanting the show cancelled - can you imagine President Bush making a public statement about getting BB cancelled because somebody put a toothbrush in a toilet or somebody called somebody else a racial epithet?
