Has anyone seen the preview for the new season in Hollywood. I think they are picking more unstable people every season to make it more interesting. I hate to say it but I love to watch the more off their rocker the housemates are!! Anyone know when the new season starts?

The premiere is April 16th. It looks like the biggest cluster of waste-of-spaces ever. Hopefully the train-wreck will be more interesting than Sydney.

They showed the Hollywood cast briefly at the Real World Awards show....but I was so distracted by seeing all of the past casts that none of the newbies really registered with me.

After watching the awards show and seeing different clips from New York, LA and San Francisco, it really hit home to me how much this show has changed throughout the years.

Seeing the new Hollywood cast is when it hit me that The Real World just ain't what it used to be.

I'm now in my thirty's and I guess I can't relate to these people anymore.

I'll still watch, but damn it's depressing.

I am in full agreement. Especially when they talked about The Real World dealing with real life issues... then they showed the recent casts full of spoiled rotten kids getting drunk and making out in the hot tub. I turn thirty this year, and I can't relate to any of it either.

I can't believe the Austin cast one either. Austin?!?! I only managed to watch 3 episodes before I tuned out for good. Austin?!?!?!

Because this was the only Real World series that showed one of the cast members being attached by an angry Austin resident. We've heard about residents yelling at the cast and throwing things at them, but this is the first time we actually got to watch the beat down.

I don't think the earlier seasons had a shot in hell at winning because the kidlets who voted don't know those seasons. I think it should have been between New York and San Francisco. New York for it's newness and SF because that whole Pedro storyline was riveting and changed a generation of people.

That's because back then - some of the houseguests had actual relevance. Now they are all cookie cutter from a formula of ick:

- Drunken Whore(s) - check
- Party boy playa(s) - check
- Angry ethnic - check
- Gay - check
- Outcast who won't fit in - check

Agreed! Although I have a strange love for (the supposed) boring season in London too.

Seems like it started going downhill when members of the house got the assigned job. I loved it when there were people of all walks of life. Now they just get college kids who can afford to take a semester off to live in the house.

Not to get too sidetracked... I know this is Season 20's thread.

Sooooo.....why hasn't anyone posted any thoughts on the cast members here?! It's been two 1 hour episodes, get with it people. I'll post who I like and dislike after next weeks show.

Well let's see we've got the brunette chick who gave her gum to that one guy (I don't have names down yet) what an interesting way to share gum. And does sharing gum gross anyone else out?

Then we have the Southern girl telling the whitest blonde black girl I've ever seen not to be "ghetto". Bad move.

Than we have the guy with the guinea pig hair and the homocidal temper - he'd be fun to live with. He's actually very good looking when his hair is wet in the pool. He is an example of how one bad hair decision can remove all evidence of being attractive.

The on-line voted in guy is a bit arrogant but somehow I think that is covering for him being shy. Or I'm giving him more credit than he deserves. Gotta love a guy who calls you a peasant. (That was sarcasm).

Little blonde guy clearly likes little blonde girl but then he forgot that for a moment when he was distracted and then hypnotized by a shiny display of silicone. Shame this kid wasn't on BB he woulda loved Natalie.

I think they have the coolest house yet - shame it's wasted on a cast that hasn't impressed me yet. But - I find it interesting that for the first time these kids can be 100% opena bout their ambitious reasons for being cast on this show. Usually they have to fake like they aren't using the experience to get ahead in show business. But in Real World Hollywood that seems to be the point.

Oh - and that one angry dude seems like he was cast more for how he will behave in the challenges than for his behavior in the house. Can't you see him now going up against CT in some manly aggressive Gauntlet?

I've only watched bit and pieces of the show, but I think Will is so cute. He has a really great smile.

And that girl with a boyfriend is so cheating on him or breaking up with him before the end of the season. He sounds really needy and insecure during their phone calls.

You guys should really watch the repeats. They have different cartoon characters that pop up and comment-and its done by our very own Flipit and Nads. You have to see it, they are hilarious.

I think you are giving him waaaay more credit than he deserves. That guy is a prick! I am taking to leaving the room for a soda refill/put clothes in the dryer break everytime he graces my screen.

Looks like everyone is an aspiring singer/actor/entertainment reporter or something or the other. Goes with the whole Hollywood Dream theme... and a nice change from just a house full of on-sabbitical college students.
