Claire fell flat on her face...physically and photographically.

Lauren proves she's much more psycho than you'd think at first glance.

Stacy Ann wins the go-see challenge.

But as for the go-see challenge - usually we get all the fun of the girls getting lost, being late, and then not making it to the finish on time. This time thanks to some product placement they did not have that difficulty. Did that make it better or worse?

How bitchy was that designer who ONLY fits size 2's? How does she even make money? How many size 2's are there in this world? The average American woman is a size 14 - so that's a whole demographic her skinny ass is missing.

Shoshana Loenstein is married with a kid and still designing bikini's. Does anyone remember her from when she was underagedly dating Jerry Seinfeld? Where did her giant boobs go?

Did you guys like the puddle photo shoot? I think their bodies looked cool but we sure didn't get to make out their faces. Dumb idea Tyra! (I mean ANOTHER Dumb idea).

Every time I see Whitney I visualize Ann Margaret from "Bye, Bye Birdie". P.S. - I'd kill for Whitney's body.

I thought it was a very odd challenge. If anyone watched "The Shot" on VH1 last summer (starring last week's photographer Russell James) they did a somewhat similar photo shoot, although the models were in a pool. The photos came out looking very much like this week's did.

Katarzyna is still my favorite.

I thought the judges were totally unfair for telling Claire she had smushed the side of her face against the plastic when Fatima did the same thing and got major props for HER photo. If you look back at the photos, you can see both girls have a flat cheek pressed against the plastic. Unfair!

I was so ready for Lauren to go home but now that she is the resident psycho I guess they have to keep her around awhile longer to milk all the drama. If she really cut her finger off I guess it's a good thing she isn't trying to be a hand model. Maybe next time Tyra asks her to model "hand pain" she'll know what to do!

I still love Whitney.

i love whitney too!

maybe they are doing another round of go-sees when they get down to fewer girls... they arent usually this early in the competition.

fatima and dominque still bother the crap out of me. holy crap lauren! she went nuts yelling at fatima! i would be checking up on her meds real soon! love kataryzna's new hair too - she would look good with anything though.

right now i am really feeling whitney, stacy-ann, anya, and kat

This season is just boring me. None of the girls are standouts and none of the photos are amazing. Plus, they all seem so stupid when you see them in the house. What is with the dirty dishes all over, the notes about everything, the irritating "lets read the tickertape mail - ALL TOGETHER, and let's cuss and yell at each other over everything.

I think Nigel hates Dominique - he complains about her alot, I hate her too.

Kata's new hair is much better - I laughed out loud, about Paulina's comment about the "eastern Europe tacky" being gone.

Fatima's getting called first? Her picture was horrid, but then most of them were. How are you supposed to model through plastic and make it look good? Stupid concept - I agree.

Why, oh why, is Dominique still in the competition? She's dreadful. I can't stand her. She's not even entertaining like Jade, just annoying and full of herself for no reason.

I didn't like how they all went to the go sees together. It made this episode pretty dull. And that bitchy "size 2 only" designer needs to get a grip. Did you hear how she said she wouldn't use Fatima because she was too small? Talk about a narrow-minded view of women.

The photo shoot was an interesting idea, but it came out a little too arty for this show. It's a modeling competition, we need to see their faces, not just silohuettes (sp). Watching Claire do a face plant was kind of amusing for some reason. I usually don't like watching people get hurt, but she was getting on my nerves this episode. She must have been getting the "elimination" edit.

I still love my girl Whitney. I'm so glad she made it through another week. Here's hoping for a Dominique elimination next week.

I was shocked at Claire's elimination though when I saw her pictures all together instead of being compared to the other girls, I wasn't that impressed. How stupid though to do a face plant into a solid object. Duh

In my opinion, Lauren should have gone. Since they expect these girls to be able to do both runway and print, she just fails miserably at runway and her personality. Her freakout with Fatima...shudder.

I'm hoping for a Whitney/Fatima finale.

I believe the "size 2" designer meant she only fits size 2 models (for the runway). Not that she only makes size 2 clothing.

I don't mind that Claire is gone. I stopped liking her when she was childishly confrontational when Dom was trying to sleep. And speaking of Dominique, every so often she turns a certain way and I think she's drop dead gorgeous. And then she starts talking and ruins it; but I can see why the judges think she might have potential. Oh yeah! Did you guys notice she's missing a tooth? It looked like one of the molars. That should have been part of the make over.

Totally off topic but is it creepy to eat a salad with both a hard boiled egg and grilled chicken? I'm getting grossed out. I could be eating an entire family right now.

Not creepy at all - there's nobody left to grieve the dead, you got the whole family in one shot - no collateral damage.

Wow...I never thought of it like that! I love hard boiled eggs in salad and I always put them in (usually there is chicken too). When I read your first question, I was like of course it's not creepy, what a weirdo. Then I read the second sentence, and was like ohhhhh, ewwwwww. LOL

I do, however, think it is creepy to eat salad with your hands.

What about the daddy?

I don't think you can eat chicken and eggs in the same meal if you're Jewish and you keep kosher, just like you can't have a cheeseburger (but a hamburger is okay, I think). I think it has something to do with, "thou shalt not boil a kid in its mothers milk" or something like that.

Someone on here must know more about it than I do!

I really have no idea what you are talking about here - not Jewish, Catholic, but I have to tell you that I actually spewed my drink on my keyboard at this one!!

Just LMAO funny!!

Seriously, I was scratching my head on that one...like, "who the hell eats salad with their hands?" Do you know a lot of people that do this?

I am intrigued. And a little disgusted.

I have been known to eat salad with my hands.

And I never thought of the chicken and the egg thing before, but now I'll never be able to eat a cobb salad again.

I have seen plenty of people eat salads with their hands! They pick up a piece of the lettuce, dunk it in their "dressing on the side" and then eat it.

Salad - NOT a finger food.

Weird. I eat a lot of salad and I eat with a lot of salad eaters. It has never occurred to me nor to any of my friends to eat this way. This disturbs me!

I don't like too much salad dressing so I always order mine on the side. I usually dip my fork into the dressing, then spear some salad and eat it like that. This certainly helps cut calories, too. I have never eaten salad with my hands, however, although I guess eating salad with your fingers isn't really too different from eating raw veggies with dip, is it?

Incidentally, we were flipping through channels last night and landed on the Sunday night re-run of ANTM just in time to see Claire faceplant on the plastic during the photo shoot. It was still funny.

From BuzzKilled:

ANTM Fined For Indecency

The crazy nut bags over at the PTC (Parents Television Council) decided that the last photo shoot on America’s Next Top Model was just way too risque for the 8pm ‘Family Hour’ time slot it aired in.

The photo shoot required the models to pose nude in a bed for photographer and ANTM judge himself Nigel Barker. The PTC had this to say in regards to the photo shoot and episode:

“It is irresponsible for The CW Network to air full frontal nudity on the public airwaves at 8PM, and based upon our analysis of the broadcast in question we believe this has crossed the legal threshold for broadcast indecency… this is about a television network intentionally pushing the envelope to establish a new acceptable nudity standard for the broadcast medium. The entire photo shoot scene, which lasted for more than a minute, is wholly gratuitous and undoubtedly intended to titillate… Sadly, it appears that CW believed this was appropriate content for children given that the show aired during the Family Hour. Even more children were exposed to this graphic content because of the time it aired.”

WTF? I don't know which version of the show I was watching, but I didn't see any full frontal nudity. Granted, Anya didn't have any clothes on, but we never saw her naughty bits. Some people have too much time on their hands!

Incidentally, did anyone watch the recap show? Against my better judgement I started to but had to turn it off after about 20 minutes. It was just way too "yawn" for me.

Interesting. I didn't see boobs or vag. Does the PTC have X-ray glasses?

Well the part of that episode that titillated me was the idea of Nigel photographing me naked in bed. But that was my imagination - not what aired. The PTC didn't even have their fact straight - it was a model (singular) not models (plural).

The recap show was boring - except they had more nudity (gasp) and blurring (the horror!) guess it's time for another complaint about indecency.
