Another fun way of getting to know little bits about each other. Simply post a question or half-finished sentence and the next person has to answer that question, and set the next.

So if I posted: "My most annoying habit is..."
You might reply: "...biting my nails"

You get the idea I'm sure. The wackier the question, the funnier the response, so get thinking... and if you like the question enough that you want to hear someone else's response you can always re-ask the question:

"Now that I told you MY most annoying habit tell me YOUR most annoying habit?"

So to kick off this thread...

So tell me, do you have any exciting travel coming up?

gasmilicous
04-10-2008, 09:04 AM
I am going to St. Lucia in June for a scuba diving trip. Yipee!!

TinkerbellAPixie

Don't forget to post your question for the next person...

gasmilicous

Ah I get it now...

Are you a cat person or a dog person?

Exciting travel? Hmmmm.... if my company doesn't win its re-compete next week, I have decided to conduct my job search via laptop while sitting poolside someplace sunny like Florida. Kinda gives me hope and makes possibly losing my job something to look forward to.

So tell me, last night I dreamed about...

TinkerbellAPixie
04-10-2008, 11:29 AM
Are you a cat person or a dog person?

Let's see - I would be a cat person if I wasn't so allergic to cats. Darn it.

So tell me, last night I dreamed about...

Last night I dreamed I was at Disney World and had taken my niece to the loo, she was about 3 in this dream and wearing a Tinkerbell costume (imagine that). When I got back to the line for Philharmagic I realized that behind my sister in line was my ex-boyfriend, his mother and his little brother. I wanted to just hit his mom in the face (long story). Before I could my alarm went off.

So tell me - what was the last song you listened to?

menomor3

So tell me - what was the last song you listened to?

The last song I listened to was I'm not gonna write you a love song and now it is stuck in my head!

So tell me - If I were 17 again......

lennonwhore
04-10-2008, 01:58 PM
So tell me - If I were 17 again......

I would not run away from my problems and drop out of college.

So tell me, if you could be any animal....

JulieM
04-10-2008, 02:04 PM
If I were 17 again, I'd be stalking Ryan Sheckler.

If I were an animal, I'd want to be a beautiful polar bear...with a heated den

So tell me, the last movie you hated was....

Cherie
04-10-2008, 02:06 PM
So tell me, if you could be any animal....

I would be my dog Jack. He's spoiled rotten and doesn't have a care in the world.

So tell me, the last movie you hated was....
The Departed.

So tell me, if you could trade places with any celebrity, who would it be and why?

Pegster
04-10-2008, 03:09 PM
So tell me, if you could trade places with any celebrity, who would it be and why?

Whichever model is currently dating MyLeo, who was in the AWESOME movie The Departed!

So tell me, what quality does Pegster posess that you wish you did (I know there are many, but please try and limit your answer to one)?

TinkerbellAPixie
04-10-2008, 03:11 PM
She is brave, I am a coward so I could use just a tiny bit of her bravery.

So tell me, Dr. Phil - super helpful and wise - or kinda creepy and annoying?

giffordsaz
04-10-2008, 03:14 PM
I wish I had the ability to say what I think and have people still freaking fawn all over me like Pester does. She is the bomb at that and she has a great ass.

So tell me...if you could have one designer redecorate your bedroom who would you call and what colors would you go with.

chooch850
04-10-2008, 11:46 PM
I would definitely call Vern who used to be on Tradinng Spaces. He was my all-time favorite. He made the most beautiful bedrooms. My colors would be navy/burgundy with lavender accents.... but I suck at color choices so I'd let Vern make the final decision.

I love Peg's ability to uhmmm.... ahhhh... wait I'm thinkin'.... her ability to ..... oh, I got it..... her ability to drink beer.

My next travel will be to the nutritionist on the 15th.

The last song I heard was "I Will Survive" on Don't Forget the Lyrics. Gloria Gaynor sang it at the end of the show to celebrate it hitting #1, 30 yrs. ago.

I'm a cat person with dogs on the side.

If I could be 17 again (as in going back in time) I'd be much nicer to my mom. I was very selfish back then and it's too late to say I'm sorry.

Worst movie I've seen recently... "Click" with Adam Sandler.

I'd trade places with Oprah. No explaination necessary.

Dr. Phil used to be helpful and then he became famous and full of himself so he's just annoying now.

So tell me, when was the last time you had to ask to borrow money from a friend?

menomor3
04-11-2008, 01:18 PM
If I could trade places with any celebrity it would be Nicole Richie. She is beautiful, has a gorgeous baby and there is something kind of sexy about a rock star covered in tattoos.

Last movie I saws that I hated was Beowolf ~ UGH damn animated crap!

I can't remember the last time I had to borrow money other than the ocassional quarter for the "female protection" machine.

So tell me ~ quiet weekend or party party PARTY!

brunettechic
04-11-2008, 09:36 PM
So tell me ~ quiet weekend or party party PARTY!

Let's see... I'm going to Jamaic a in August.

The last song I heard was Only You by Joshua Radin. (Love him... totally recommend him.)

I love dogs. Watched the Oprah about puppy mills, cried for an hour.

If I were 17 again... I honestly can't think of anything I would change. Not that my life was perfect, but it was far from bad. Very far.

I haven't watched any new movies lately. Not even ones that are just new to me. But I did watch Cars the other day... I heart Disney.

If I were going to trade places with a famous person, I would trade with whomever Justin Timberlake ends up marrying.

Don't get me started on Dr. Phil. Just... ugh.

I don't think I've ever had to borrow money from anyone because I'm still under the parental's protective wing.

And I like a mixture of a quiet weekend and PARTYing. But my favorite way to spend the weekend is at the lake.

And my question... if you could go on any reality show, which one would it be?

TinkerbellAPixie
04-12-2008, 05:59 AM
And my question... if you could go on any reality show, which one would it be?

If you asked me 6 months ago - I'd have said The Amazing Race. But now it would be Oprah's Big Give. I love the idea of having $100,000 and 48 hours to give it out to help people. What an amazing thing to do.

So tell me, do prefer seeing movies at the theater or watching them at home?

lennonwhore
04-12-2008, 09:12 AM
So tell me, do prefer seeing movies at the theater or watching them at home?

I.m all about the theater. We get to reserve our seats online, the usher takes our food order and brings it to us AND you get the big screen effect.

So tell me would you rather get up early to watch the sunrise or stay up late to watch it?

angiemarie
04-12-2008, 10:27 AM
So tell me would you rather get up early to watch the sunrise or stay up late to watch it?

Stay up late! I have waking up early.

So tell me, who would you rather have cook dinner for you? Tom Colicchio from Top Chef or Gordon Ramsey from Hell's Kitchen?

TinkerbellAPixie
04-12-2008, 12:08 PM
Gordon - and the food wouldn't be the main ingredient on the menu ;)

So tell me, would you rather make sweet love to Phil from Amazing Race or Probst from Survivor?

brunettechic
04-12-2008, 01:30 PM
Threesome.

So, tell me... what's your favorite Dr. Suess book?

lestermaddox
04-12-2008, 08:25 PM
Ick - I hate Dr. Suess. Probably from spending my 20's reading about green eggs and ham to 4 children.

How many message boards do you post too and how often?

giffordsaz
04-12-2008, 08:35 PM
I post to two boards daily. Well mostly daily, sometimes I have to take a break of a few days.

So tell me.......

What kind of soap do you use in the shower?

lestermaddox
04-12-2008, 08:46 PM
I use Oil of Olay liquid with the sensitive skin and no smell. I am highly allergic to just about everything, so have to be very careful about scents and additives. But this is working well for me - for now.

So tell me....

At what age did you lose your virginity?

giffordsaz
04-13-2008, 04:42 PM
Well that was a thread killer!

Cherie
04-13-2008, 04:49 PM
I'm still waiting to lose mine.

So tell me, who was your first celebrity crush?

TaniaNicole
04-13-2008, 05:17 PM
lol, Johnny Depp, I think.

Not anymore though.

giffordsaz
04-13-2008, 05:24 PM
Shawn Cassidy, what a hell of a Hardy boy he made.

I think we need the answer to a few more of the 'first celebrity crush?' before we get a new question.

Cherie
04-13-2008, 05:27 PM
Agreed so I'll answer my own question.
Tony Danza & David Cassidy-can't remember which came first.

brunettechic

So tell me... who is your favorite poster here at the gasm?

lennonwhore
04-13-2008, 05:32 PM
Easy, ME!

So tell me...what is your favorite flower, and why?

giffordsaz
04-13-2008, 06:05 PM
It is the tulip..
I grew up in Michigan in Muskegon, north of Holland...
and we planted hundreds of bulbs every fall so they came up so nice in the spring...
and then I lived in Germany and travelled to the real Holland, the Netherlands and rejoiced in the tulips.
I even bought and sent bulbs back to the states for my return. So imagine my surprise to end up being sent to the Valley of the Sun and planting said tulips in the 'fall' and having the suckers bake in the ground before they ever thought to bloom in the spring.

So ever Easter I buy a few at Safeway and thing I am the queen of the Netherlands for about two weeks.

I will re-ask....
So tell me, what is your favorite flower and why?

TinkerbellAPixie
04-13-2008, 06:08 PM
Daffodils

When I lived in the Arctic North of Chicago there was something so promising about the daffodils. They'd peek out of the snow as little yellow cups of hope promising the freeze would end at some point. Plus in Willy Wonka they had little candy dandy lions that they first sipped from and then bit into. And... the I also loved how the dizzy dafodils kissed the tulips in Alice in Wonderland.

So tell me, what is your favorite cereal?

lennonwhore
04-13-2008, 06:24 PM
Special K.s Chocolatey Delight.

So tell me..... do you play a musical instrument?

TinkerbellAPixie
04-14-2008, 03:48 AM
I do - I play clarinet and alto sax. It's been a while though. I should pull out that ole licorice whip and give it a toot.

So tell me, what was the best present you ever gave someone?

lennonwhore
04-14-2008, 05:10 AM
I play the bass.

I gave my dad tickets to see the Minnesota Vikings play the Chicago Bears in Minnesota. He.s been a fan since the 60s and has never seen them play.

Instrument: don't play one, though I did take piano lessons for 6 weeks. Then my piano teacher died.
Best Present: I gave my middle son tickests to see the Chiefs play the Bronco's at Arrowhead Stadium for his 18th birthday. We are natives Kansans who live in Colorado, so big rivalry and every football fan needs to experience Arrowhead once in their lifetime!
Most Unusal Talent: I can touch my nose with my tongue.

What is the first thing you would buy for yourself if you won the lottery?

Pegster
04-14-2008, 06:32 AM

So tell me, what is your favorite kind of cake?

roadtripper8
04-14-2008, 08:45 AM

JulieM
04-14-2008, 09:13 AM

I'd love to be able to fly...I hate sitting in traffic.

So tell me, if you could be a character on any show, who would you be?

giffordsaz
04-14-2008, 09:17 AM

So tell me... if you were offered a free Aussie make over for your vajayjay would you do it?

lestermaddox
04-14-2008, 11:56 AM
So tell me... if you were offered a free Aussie make over for your vajayjay would you do it?

ummm - is it bad that I don't know what in the world an Aussie makeover for my vajayjay is? :helpsmilie:
I think mine is just fine the way it is.

I would so fly if I had superpowers - that would rock!

So tell me what would you do if you never had to work again?

giffordsaz
04-14-2008, 12:06 PM

watch BB feeds and feedcap them, shop when I want, visit friends, go to all my kids games. Send Hubby off to work and tell him he can come home again............. drink crystal light and voda....

So tell me......What twelve Tvgasm people, not knowing their screen names or what they really looked like, would you want to be locked in the Big Brother house with? And why???

TinkerbellAPixie
04-14-2008, 12:19 PM
1. PekmBoyd - though it's a cheat since i've met her - she's adorable and always manages to be a calming influence to me.

2. Pegster - guaranteed good times. Plus I could hide behind her and let her fight for me.

3. Len - For so many reasons including the fact that the BBAD folks would love her pantslessness.

4. Firecat - Because we need some men in there and he's young and knows how to cook.

5. Brunettechic - we need some one to help me wear lotsa OU stuff to counteract all the burnt orange Josh shoved down our throats this season.

6. Krut - because every BB cast needs a wacky gay guy

7. Minda - because the trash piles up in the BB house and she's the trash queen. :p

8. Angiemarie - another calming influence - she'd be good to get into an alliance with - plus I think she'd kick ass on endurance comps

9. Jampony - because I don't really follow sci-fi - and so she could sit around and have a storytime where she tells us all about all the sciencey shows and it would help stave off boredom.

10. Rach - another one that could probably cook, plus she's pretty hilarious and strikes me as tough

11. JasonR - because quite honestly we need another penis in the house

12. Gasmilicious - Because we can sit around for hours and discuss all the intricacies of Lost

So tell me, if you could go on The Amazing Race - what one reality show star would you take as your partner?

So tell me, if you had to prepare one dish for Gordon Ramsey- what dish would you prepare?

brunettechic

So tell me, have you ever seriously thought about trying out for a reality tv show? Which one and why?

Pegster
04-14-2008, 12:46 PM
I would be Buffy the Vampire Slayer

I would love to take Yul on TAR.

So tell me, who is your LEAST favorite reality star ever?

boozie
04-14-2008, 12:54 PM
So tell me, who is your LEAST favorite reality star ever?

Lacey from Rock of Love. Seriously, I wanted to stab her eye with a pencil and I think I lost like 2459238 lighters from chucking them at the TV screen.

So tell me, Bret Michaels & Flavor Flav...if you HAD to make out with one of them who would it be?

brunettechic
04-14-2008, 12:59 PM
Bret. Just because the girls that Flav makes out with are waaaaaaaaay too questionable.

And Boozie... one time me and my BFF filled out applications for Amazing Race, but we never mailed them in. We're too out of shape and she's too crazy. :)

So tell me...

What reality show has gone too far?

TinkerbellAPixie
04-14-2008, 01:01 PM
So tell me, Bret Michaels & Flavor Flav...if you HAD to make out with one of them who would it be?

If that were my only choice - I think I'd pour gasoline over myself and set myself on fire? Does that count as a response?

I guess Bret is less gross than Flav - by .00001%. Ick.

If you could marry two celebs to one another to make one celeb superbaby who would you match up?

TinkerbellAPixie
04-14-2008, 01:02 PM
What reality show has gone too far?

I think Moment of Truth has gone too far - not that it's a reality show. But still - I think it has crossed the line.

So tell me - the same question from my last post about the baby thingy.

boozie
04-14-2008, 01:04 PM
And Boozie... one time me and my BFF filled out applications for Amazing Race, but we never mailed them in. We're too out of shape and she's too crazy. :)

So tell me...

What reality show has gone too far?

I printed out the application for The Bachelor and then my boyfriend found it....never submitted that sucker either.

The Real World has gone to far in the sense of STOP MAKING NEW SEASONS if you are just going to put the SAME people/story lines in them. The challenges are always fun to watch though.

So tell me, who out of the last RW/RR Challenge do you think you would have a hard time getting along with?

boozie
04-14-2008, 01:11 PM
If you could marry two celebs to one another to make one celeb superbaby who would you match up?

Jessica Biel and Eric Bana.....if it was a boy I would totally date it. I would be 45 by the time it was legal, but hey, its been done before.

So tell me, if you could spend a day in a famous person shoes...who would it be?

chooch850
04-14-2008, 01:18 PM

lennonwhore
04-14-2008, 02:04 PM

So tell me - what would you do if you found out you only had six weeks to live?

Cherie
04-14-2008, 02:16 PM
I would stop dieting immediately!

So tell me,
lets stick with Len's question cause the thought of not dieting has me speechless!

brunettechic
04-14-2008, 02:50 PM
I would probably start dieting i hopes to extend the 6 weeks a bit! That and spend every waking moment with my nephew doing fun things.

So tell me something that you've always wanted to do and never have... and why haven't you done it???

Tink.... you seemed to have omitted me..... we'd be like Jameka and Evel Dick! :D

Gotta leave you and giff here to report on us for the gasmii. Just be kind. I promise not to pick my parts.

Something I've always wanted to do - but never done... hmmm....

Sing Kaoraoke - but I haven't cuz I can't sing and I am dreadfully, painfully, crazy shy.

So tell me, have you ever overhead something that someone said about you and what did you overhear?

lestermaddox
04-14-2008, 05:04 PM
Something I've always wanted to do - but never done... parachute! I wanted too, but needed my parents permission under 18, by 18 I was pregnant with my first child and I am now waiting for the last one to graduate HS then the day after, I am jumping! 4 years and 1 month to go!!

Overheard something - never heard people talking about me.

So tell me - same questions as Tink's, since my answer is boring.

brunettechic
04-14-2008, 05:16 PM
I've been skydiving and it was absolutely amazing. Everyone should go!!!

Something I've over heard about myself... I don't recall ever overhearing anything about me. That seems like something that I would remember. So I'll pass the question on to the next poster as well...

lennonwhore
04-14-2008, 06:20 PM
I.ve heard people say I.m an evil, nasty bitch. But when I ask them about it they lie.

So Tell Me...do you name your cars?

brunettechic
04-14-2008, 07:14 PM
Yes. I had Lucy in high school (the BFF had Ethel) and now I have Penelope. :)

What job does one of your friends have that you would never do?

giffordsaz
04-14-2008, 07:19 PM
My girl friend at the moment sells indiviual medical insurance policies to those who are not insured any other way.. i could never be in salse like that where you have to drive and meet people at homes or starbucks or resturants and have a two hour meeting covering all that informatin..... i am not a good sales person.

same Question.. next person.

lennonwhore
04-14-2008, 07:23 PM
My friend works at an adult store. Lots of weirdos there, ya know?

So tell me...man shorts, at what point do they become manpris?

lestermaddox
04-14-2008, 07:24 PM
I have a really good friend who is a dog groomer. I don't mind animals, but I hate the feel of fur, so the thought of washing and cutting the hair on strangers dogs just really creeps me out. She is really good at though and loves it - so it's all good. I will stick with my computer geek stuff.

Man shorts - anything longer than about an inch below the knee is a no-no in my book. And they should sit above the hip bones so as not to show the world your boxers and/or make your ass look saggy.

So tell me - would you have plastic surgery? Any kind.

I'd probably get my boobs fixed if they started sagging.

And to answer my own last question... i have a friend that is an embalmer/mortician.

What upcoming movie do you want to see?

TinkerbellAPixie

What upcoming movie do you want to see?

You'd think I'd say Tinkerbell (which would be true) but more than that I'm eagerly anticipating the next installment in the Indiana Jones series (in spite of the fact that Shia Lebouf is in it).

So tell me, would you go see the Pope if he was coming to your town?

lestermaddox
04-15-2008, 05:58 AM
I would yes - as a practicing Catholic, it would be an event not to miss, as was seeing the last Pope in Denver years ago.

So tell me - would you vote for a woman for president. (Not necessiarly the current candidate - but any woman?)

TinkerbellAPixie
04-15-2008, 07:26 AM
So tell me - would you vote for a woman for president. (Not necessiarly the current candidate - but any woman?)

I would have voted for Elizabeth Dole in a heartbeat. There are some women I think would make a great president just like there are some men I can't stomach as being pres. It's the person not the gender that matters. Look around the world - Elizabeth I in England, Queen Isabella in Spain - women can make terrific leaders.

So tell me, what made your best boss - your best boss?

Pegster
04-15-2008, 07:54 AM
She believed in me almost as much as my own parents, and fought the people who tried to hold me back. It was a very male-driven area of the industry, and without her support I would have quit in a heartbeat.

So tell me, what person/place/thing in this world makes you the happiest?

TinkerbellAPixie
04-15-2008, 07:57 AM
Look at the photos in my sig line and you'll have your answer. My heart just bursts with love whenever I see them.

So tell me, what was the last thing that made you laugh out loud?

My roommate and I were talking lastnight as we were watching Rock of Love. I said "if Bret ever told me that my tour ends here...I would tell him to take off his wig." For some reason we laughed forever about things we could say back to Bret.

So tell me, if you could fly anywhere in the world for free...where would it be?

Well said Tink - and I wholeheartedly agree.

If you could have any job in any industry what would it be?

I would love to be a writer - but don't have the patience to write a novel, so I would settle for being a book editor. Lots of great books to read and nothing to do all day but sit around and read them!

So tell me - would you go swimming with sharks? - on purpose!

So tell me...how do you feel about rainbows?

RachWho?
04-15-2008, 11:49 AM
I love rainbows. They remind me of gay people. And I REALLY love gay people. I bought my house from gay people.

So tell me...do you think there are situations where it's okay to be judgmental?

giffordsaz
04-15-2008, 12:02 PM
No, I believe you have to be safe but I don't....

okay, I am judgemental, really with others who might take my kids down a path where they are dealing drugs outside the market in our neighborhood. So yes, In some ways I do .

but I know I shouldn't.......

Today I took a side road off Litchfiled Road. I travel this road many times a week and I was texting with my son so I needed to pull over and stop being a danger to everyone on the road.
I drove into an area iIthought was older homes, from say the 60's.. early 70's. Well I ended up in a neighborhood that had the oldest trailer homes you can imagine. It is not a trailer park where you might expect a pool or a manager... it was a place houses may have fallen down or lots were assigned to trailers. It was miserable and I saw grafity painted on fences, cars and some homes. I immediatly locked my car door and sent the text. I then drove through and around to another way back to Litchfield Road..... I felt bad for the people who had to live there.. aluminum home in the middle of the desert....no AC.. so sad. I don't judge them for where they live or where they at at this point in their lives that have them living here..

But what made me lock the door?

So I guess I do judge even though I know in my heart it is wrong.

So tell me.....is there, in this day and age really a reason for the death penalty?

lennonwhore
04-15-2008, 12:06 PM

... and NO, Natalie isn't a true Christian. It is a religion of "convenience" for her and not something she practices in her daily life.

smolls
04-15-2008, 01:51 PM
I DO!!! :) Thanks Giff for all your Big Brother recapping and overall addiction!!!

And as much as I like Natalie, I think she needs to keep her bible preaching at home...not on a reality game show!!

So tell me...would you rather lose your eyesight or your hearing if you HAD to choose?

TinkerbellAPixie
04-15-2008, 03:35 PM
I lost my eyesight for 11 weeks and it was hard but I was able to function - okish. Still, I think in this computer age it would be easier to go without hearing.

So tell me... do you think a woman can ever win The Biggest Loser?

krut
04-15-2008, 05:41 PM

LaughSNORT!! No one knows that I'm the stunt double for FozzieBear.

RachWho?

I think 5, but once my cat sneezed off and on for two days when she was a kitten. She even started bleeding. We took her to the vet and he gave her antibiotics and made us give her steam treatments (as in, close her in the bathroom with the hot water going full force). She still wheezes. She also "barks" at me when I sneeze. There's gratitude for you.

So tell me...what show do you watch that you are embarassed to admit to most people?

JulieM
04-16-2008, 05:22 AM

So tell me...if you could only watch one television show, which would it be and why?

lestermaddox
04-16-2008, 11:06 AM
Thanksgiving - for two reasons. The first, when I was growing up we lived in KS and my grandparents were in GA. We saw them for two weeks every Thanksgiving, and I can still remember the excitement of sitting at the window, watching for thier car and then TWO WHOLE WEEKS of Grandmother and Granddaddy - still some of my most favorite memories.

Now as an adult - I like Thanksgiving because I host it and my parents come stay with us, but it is a long weekend of just family. You cook a big meal, eat too much, watch too much football, play lots of cards and scrabble and just spend time with family. No presants to buy, no tree to set up, no commercial crap to wade through for endless weeks. Just food, fun and family - my kind of holiday.

Just one TV show? Yikes! Well, CSI the original one probably. Or 24, if it was still on.

So tell me - do you like your co-workers or do they drive you crazy?

brunettechic
04-16-2008, 11:10 AM
If I could only watch one TV show, it would be The Big Bang Theory. As long as I kept getting new ones.

And the majority of my co-workers drive me crazy, but the 10% who don't are awesome and actually fun to be around.

So tell me... what sports team do you hate?

gasmilicous
04-16-2008, 11:37 AM
If I could watch one TV show, it would be LOST!

My coworkers are pretty cool for the most part - just one annoying gnat that drives me crazy.

lestermaddox
04-16-2008, 01:51 PM
sports team? hands down - the Denver Broncos suck!

summer plans? we are planning a family vaca somewhere with a beach - can't wait!

judge on a show? Top Chef. Course some of that food, I would just refuse to eat, but mostly it would be fun, plus I love Chef Tom!

So tell me - how much time a day do you spend on-line that is not work related?

04-17-2008, 01:26 PM

So tell me - what is your fantasy car?

TinkerbellAPixie
04-17-2008, 01:37 PM
My fantasy car is a red hummer. The big kind - none of this H2 or H3 nonsense. A shiny red Hummer with ginormous wheels and a hood you could have a block party on. Mmmmm

So tell me, what are your plans for this weekend?

Clair
04-17-2008, 02:15 PM
Saturday: Sleep late, nap, eat, drink beer
Sunday: See Saturday's plans

So tell me, what is your favorite type of weather?

brunettechic
04-17-2008, 02:27 PM
Well, it all depends on if I'm planning an outside day or an inside day. An outside day... I want it in the 70's slight breeze, partly cloudy. An inside day... I want rain. But not scary thunderstorms and severe weather.

So tell me... who was your favorite teacher and why?

lennonwhore
04-17-2008, 02:41 PM

brunettechic
04-17-2008, 07:39 PM
Donuts. I love donuts. They're delicious.

So tell me... who do you think has it easier... males or females?

lestermaddox
04-17-2008, 08:12 PM
mmm - depends on what you are talking about. As a parent, it is, IMO easier to raise boys - no bras, periods, less mood swings, and you only have to worry about 1 penis. With a girl, you have to worry about them all!

As an adult - in the work place, I generally think males have it easier. And especially as you age - men get distinguished, women just get wrinkly and old.

So tell me - how important do you think it is to have a college degree?

TinkerbellAPixie
04-18-2008, 05:46 AM
In this day and age - it's crucial. I think back in the 70's or 80's a college degree set you apart and made it more likely for you to advance.

Nowadays I think everyone has one so you need one too just to get in the game.

So tell me, what was the last thing that scared the bejeebers outta you?

"Fat People are Harder to Kidnap" (I seriously laughed my ass off at that one!...sorry to answer again in this thread right away, but that one just rocks!)

So tell me, have you ever been in a physical fight? If not, do you think you ever would be? Do you want to be?

minda07
04-18-2008, 06:06 AM
I was in a physical fight. I had three girls jump me outside a night club because they thought I was someone else. It wasn't pretty. I lost a ton of hair that night. I had a couple scratches. I hit one girl so hard she fell down (I have two brothers so I had some training, lol) and one girl I slammed into the wall using my body, the third girl was pulled off of me by some dude. I tried to file a report but the cops wanted nothing to do with it and since I wasn't seriously hurt I just went home.

If you could would you run for president of the united states and why?

lennonwhore
04-18-2008, 06:20 AM

If I could run for president, I wouldn.t. The job requires way too much diplomacy and patience, something I don.t have.

So tell me: When was the last time you overslept for anything?

gasmilicous
04-18-2008, 07:24 AM
I oversleep for things all the time. I even have 3 alarms set for work, so that I have the ability to snooze. Then I get up and take a shower, and get back into bed for another half hour before getting up and getting ready. I know, I'm weird.

RachWho?
04-18-2008, 10:17 AM
Creepy as all fuck! Seriously, my heart palpitates when a clown comes near me. I feel like I am in danger.

So tell me...what's the campiest movie you've ever seen?

lestermaddox
04-18-2008, 10:36 AM
Omega Man - the original that I Am Legend was based on. I was very little and it was a double feature at the drive in, Disney first, then the grown-ups movie. I just remember lots of zombies and sheep with bloody noses. Very campy -I have seen others, but this one sticks with me!

So tell me - do you always vote?

lennonwhore
04-18-2008, 11:04 AM

04-18-2008, 08:19 PM
ROFL... that totally sounds dirty.

So tell me... Where were you when you heard about 9/11?

I called in sick (I was totally not sick at all... unless "sick of work" counts?) and was home watching the Today show and eating Capn Crunch, so I got to watch the whole nightmare slowly unfold live in color. It was definitely a surreal experience and I was completely glued to my TV for 5 hours before I could even move a muscle. I rarely call in sick, but I used to take "mental health" days occassionally and coincidentally, the strangest, ugliest things always seemed to happen on my mental health days so I would just be bonded to the TV all day. I took mental health days on the day Timothy McVeigh bombed Oklahoma City, the day the Feebs stormed Ruby Ridge, the day Columbine High went strange, and of course on Sept 11. After 9/11 I swore to myself I would never call in sick unless I was on my death bed.

So anyway... tell me, who is your favorite Peanuts character?

TinkerbellAPixie
04-19-2008, 07:48 PM

all in all when it comes down to it, the way you wrote the question... yes they are just as culpable.

So tell me... do you understand why your parents raised you as they did or do you wish you had better parents growing up?

RachWho?
04-19-2008, 09:07 PM
My parents are the greatest people I have ever known or will ever know, hands down. They raised me as well as anyone can raise a child, same with my sister. That's all that can be said there.

My first kiss was a guy named Jeff. I was in 7th grade and he was the older, star athlete at my junior high. He also lived down the street from one of my friends, so that's where I met him. We were all hanging out one night and he asked me to take a walk around the neighborhood and we ended up at the park and he kissed me. Wow, it seems wonderful... but it really wasn't.

What reality show contestant reminds you most of yourself?

lestermaddox
04-21-2008, 12:10 PM

TinkerbellAPixie
04-21-2008, 04:14 PM
When I was at OU - I was in a sorority, Alpha Phi. There was a ghost at Alpha Phi - Debbie. She had died in a car accident in the early 80's before she got to be initiated so she would hang around the house and do little silly things. She always was the most active during initiation week.

There were times when I heard footsteps walking in the floor above me (her old room) and I'd go upstairs and there was no one there. Also, she liked to re-program people's alarm clocks, temporarily lock them in their rooms and turn the water on in the bathrooms. But she was never scary.

So tell me, what was the name of your first pet?

04-21-2008, 04:40 PM
My first dog was a German Shepard named Holly. My parents bought her as a puppy when we lived in Mannheim and gave her to us for Christmas (hence the name). We had her until she was 12 and then we had to put her down b/c she had the hip disease that a lot of larger breeds get and she couldn.t walk anymore. She was a great dog and I still miss her sometimes.

So tell me...what is your favorite ice cream flavor?

brunettechic
04-21-2008, 06:09 PM
Vanilla. With coke. Basically a coke float. My Grandma calls them Frosties. Grandma is adorable.

So tell me... if you could pick anyone in the world to be the next president, who would you pick?

chooch850
04-21-2008, 06:10 PM
My first dog was Millie, a blk&wht border collie.
My favorite ice cream is chocolate marshmallow or Ben & Jerry's chocolate brownies.
Bill Clinton is my pick.

So tell me.... are you a hoarder? Do you keep everything on the chance that someday you may need it or it has sentimental value?

Cherie
04-21-2008, 06:22 PM
No I throw things away. But Hubby has gas station receipts from 10 years ago. Or I should say had. They met with a bonfire last summer.

Chooch gave me the idea for this question-
So tell me-
Do you follow a recipe to the letter or add your own little touches?

brunettechic
04-21-2008, 06:35 PM
Follow it. I'm not good enough with food to know what to change.

So tell me... Disney or Warner Brothers?

lestermaddox
04-21-2008, 07:29 PM
Disney - but just the old stuff.

So tell me - what would be your dream vacation spot?

lennonwhore
04-22-2008, 04:11 AM
Somewhere isolated enough that I don.t have to deal with people, but close enough that I still have internet access and bars on my cell phone. I get enough adventuring out in the woods for work.

So tell me - do you hit snooze or roll right out of bed?

TinkerbellAPixie
04-22-2008, 04:19 AM
Snooze - for ages. Every four minutes - BAM.

So tell me, have you ever sung karaoke? and if so - what's your song?

lennonwhore
04-22-2008, 04:37 AM
Man. I rock the mic like a vandal at karaoke. The wife and I always do "Bohemian Rhapsody." We bring the house DOWN!

So tell me...do you bite your nails or have some other nervous habit?

TinkerbellAPixie
04-22-2008, 04:40 AM
I bite my lips when I'm nervous. I actually bite them til they bleed. Not good.

So tell me...where is the furthest place you have traveled?

boozie
04-22-2008, 05:37 AM
The Caribbean. Went on a cruise a couple years back and we stopped at Costa Maya, the Cayman Islands and Jamaica. We were supposed to stop Cozumel instead of Costa Maya but it was damaged from the Tsunami.

So tell me, how would your friends describe you to someone who has never seen you?

lestermaddox
04-22-2008, 09:17 AM
Farthest place - Austria/Germany. That was pretty far for a girl from Kansas.

My friends call me WonderWoman. Except, I am blonde, and kind of short, and not skinny - though I do have the chest for the costume!

So tell me - what is your favorite "me" activity.

lennonwhore
04-22-2008, 11:51 AM
I like to read or browse the internets.

So tell me - what is worse? Running out of toilet paper in a public place or running out of hot water two minutes into the shower?

minda07
04-22-2008, 12:06 PM
Running out of T.P. in a public place - I hate to drip dry.

So tell me if you had to be shackled to someone for 24 hours who would it be and why?

brunettechic
04-22-2008, 12:58 PM
Probably Ginger Snap!

So tell me... what is your favorite framed object in your house?

RachWho?
04-22-2008, 01:07 PM
My wedding bouquet!

So tell me...do you hoard office supplies? What is your favorite office supply? (mine's the Paper Pro stapler!!)

boozie
04-22-2008, 01:21 PM
I totally hoard! Whenever someone gets fired/laid off I am like a vulture at their desk. I usually pick up staple removers and those clasps that poke into cubicals that you can hang things from. Oh yeah, and you always gotta grab some dry erase markers.

So tell me, do you go to restaurants or the movies by yourself?

brunettechic
04-22-2008, 01:30 PM
No. Well, I will go study at Panera alone, but usually someone is with me.

What is in your CD player right now?

TinkerbellAPixie
04-22-2008, 01:34 PM
Matchbox 20 - I am in lust with Rob Thomas. Does that make me lame?

So tell me, have you ever been caught reading the gasm by someone at work?

lennonwhore
04-22-2008, 01:37 PM
Yep. They laugh and think that I.m silly. Usually we look up projectile points and stuff.

So tell me, what is bothering you the most about your job right now?

Clair
04-22-2008, 02:14 PM
That there is a small possibility that the powers that be might, just might, re-hire a woman I really, really, really don't like.

So tell me, do you complain to waiters about bad food?

Pekmboyd
04-22-2008, 06:13 PM
No - I rarely order something that I don't already know is good - usually someone else has to recommend it and I have to trust their opinion - I'm not adventurous about food and I am unlikely to stand up for myself if its bad, so I reduce those odds as much as I can.

So tell me - if a storage company disappeared with all of your things, what is the one sentimental item you would miss most?

brunettechic
04-22-2008, 07:06 PM
Aside from pictures, my Grandma's jewelry. I don't see that ever going into storage, but who knows what the future holds!

So tell me... what do you call coke? Because in Oklahoma... we call everything coke... even Dr. Pepper.

TinkerbellAPixie
04-23-2008, 03:56 AM
I lived in New Jersey where they called it soda (well more like Soder), I lived in Chicago where they call it Pop, but now I'm in Orlando where they call it the name of the product (Coke, Diet Coke, DP for Dr. Pepper, etc.).

So tell me, have you ever had a life-threatening injury?

lennonwhore
04-23-2008, 04:11 AM
I had my appendix nearly burst. Not so much an injury as an illness. And various other health issues that kept me in the hospital most of my childhood.

So tell me...what smell makes you the happiest?

Pekmboyd
04-23-2008, 05:01 AM
Sawdust - reminds me of when I was a kid and my dad worked in his shop.

So tell me, what one question has been asked so far that you wish you'd been able to answer but someone else got there faster?

Clair
04-23-2008, 08:07 AM
Good question - the ghost one - we had a ghost when we first moved here. She used to leave toys on my chair. I'd be home alone, get up to get coffee, come back and find a toy where my butt had just been.

Same question from me - what question has been asked that you wish you'd been able to answer?

brunettechic
04-23-2008, 08:35 AM
Probably the one about the first pet. We had a pit bull dog, Buck, growing up and he was super protective of me and my brother. We have that poor dog dressed up in all kinds of costumes as our playmate. (princess stuff with me... he-man stuff with my brother) Anyway... Mom always said her first clue that one of us was getting sick was if Buck went and laid by our beds. And at night he would sleep in the hall blocking the way to our bedrooms for protection. He was seriously, the sweetest dog ever.

Anyway... that was a bit of a ramble. So tell me.. who was the last person to see you cry?

minda07
04-23-2008, 09:18 AM
Its sad but it was my boss the morning after I found out my parents were separating.

So tell me, west coast or east coast? (Sorry I just watched the last Bring It On movie)

lestermaddox
04-23-2008, 12:11 PM
mm - I like the west coast for the sun, but the east coast is, I think, more senic. Either will do for me though - I love sand and oceans. (So tell me why I live in the middle with neither??)

So tell me - so you like all 6 of the Star War movies?

boozie
04-23-2008, 12:28 PM
LOVE them all! And Jabba's tongue is so sexy. Yum.

So tell me, has anyone heard the new Tila Tequila song, Paralyze? I am EMBARRASSED to say that I just added it to my work playlist.

lennonwhore
04-23-2008, 03:24 PM
Boozie, I can.t say that I have. But you have made me DL it (on the DL, of course). I.ll get back to you on how it makes me feel.

So tell me, shower in the morning or in the evening?

brunettechic
04-23-2008, 03:26 PM
Morning. I don't think I can function without a shower in the mornings.

What is your ideal weather? Right now, we have light rain with a little bit of thunder... It's awesome and soothing.

lennonwhore
04-23-2008, 03:30 PM
Ideal weather: about 76 degrees with a cool breeze and some clouds. Perfect digging weather.

So tell me...meet me in chat, sistah from another mistah? And also tell me...do you think feet are ugly?

brunettechic
04-23-2008, 03:35 PM
Feet = disgusting. Except mine... mine are cute.

So tell me... what do you really think of No Child Left Behind?

brunettechic
04-24-2008, 06:29 AM
No one wants to talk about NCLB? Ok... so tell me who your all time favorite American Idol contestant?

boozie
04-24-2008, 07:24 AM
Fave contestant was probably Chris Daughtry, loved him. Most obsession with contestant definitely goes to Constantine. I think I joined his bands street team or something. I have NO IDEA what I was thinking.

So tell me, who was your all-time HATED American Idol contestant. (Sorry...I have no imagination this morning)

RachWho?
04-24-2008, 07:33 AM
Most hated...has to be a tie between David Cook and Constantine. And watching David Cook's facial expressions during his performance this week reminded me SO MUCH of Constantine's craptastic facial expressions. Luckily, my barf bag is always at hand.

So tell me...what's your favorite reality show of all time?

boozie
04-24-2008, 08:00 AM
It's a tie between Rock of Love and Hells Kitchen. Both of them make me laugh EVERY episode. Leaning towards Hells Kitchen though because Gordon is oh so dreamy. Oh yeah, and the reality TV shows on Bravo (I think) are good too. Shear Genius and Top Design.

So tell me...what color do you prefer to have your (or your girlfriends) finger nails painted?

lestermaddox
04-24-2008, 08:28 AM
I don't ever actually paint my fingernails - I talk with my hands too much and the color distracts me. (seriously!) I do however paint my toenails. Depending on the season - dark colors in winter and lighter shades in summer. Right now they are a sporty red color!

I will answer the No Child Left Behind question - as both someone who has worked in a school district and as a parent with school aged children - I can honestly say that NCLB will be the downfall of the American Public School System. We are no longer teaching to the top of the class and expecting the rest of the students to reach that level, schools are now teaching to the bottom levels of the class and letting those students set our standards. The other issue is so much time spent on teaching the students how to take standardized tests so that the schools make their "grade", learning is actually lost. We now have schools pumping out kids who can take a test, but can't spell or read or write a coherent sentence.

Okay - done with my rant.

So tell me - how has your weather been?

angiemarie
04-24-2008, 11:08 AM
The weather has been absolutely gorgeous here (PGH) for over a week, mid 70's and sunny and no humidity. LOVE IT!

So tell me, you get a night of mad passion with one Survivor contestant, who would it be?

brunettechic
04-24-2008, 01:54 PM

Couldn't agree more. :thumbup1:

So tell me, you get a night of mad passion with one Survivor contestant, who would it be?

Yul. I love him, forever and always.

What's your favorite smiley face? I like the eye roll one because I think it looks more like a daydreaming face..

lennonwhore
04-24-2008, 02:16 PM
I don.t like smileys. I can.t explain why.

So tell me...do you scratch your bug bites or try to take the high road and ignore them?

Clair
04-24-2008, 02:31 PM
I push on them with my fingernail to make an X. It seems to help stop the itch. Kinda.

So tell me, how many pillows are on your bed? (Ak, I had a really good question about an hour ago but I've forgotten it.)

lennonwhore
04-24-2008, 02:46 PM
I have about five pillows on my bed. Sometimes they go away...like to the living room, and live there on their own.

So tell me...how high is gas where you live?

angiemarie
04-24-2008, 03:02 PM
Gas was $3.49/gal at Costco today when I filled up. It's $3.59/gal everywhere else I think.

So tell me, how much recycling do you do?

giffordsaz
04-24-2008, 03:35 PM
Tons of recycling. I have more recyling waste than garbage. I am disappointed in companies that sell merchandise with so much packaging but more so the packaging is so hard to break down in the enviroment. We lived in Germany and they had many green, clear, and brown glass disposal sites.. the three large conatiners every other block or so in the neighborhoods. And stores were responsible to dispose of ALL packaging... so say out side a store like IKEA.... they would have dumpsterss for cardboard.... plastic. ect. And packaging was different and 'less'. Even to use plastic OR paperbags you had to pay 5 cents each and most peole brought their own.
What I am tired of is ""ECO-Chic""" people who talk the talk and own 4 SUV's. I have a few more pet peeves... but....
It was very hard to recycle properly until our city began a curb side program. I recommend any one finding it hard to recycle to work with the city government to bring curbside to you.

So tell me, what is your most abnormal pet peeve?

lennonwhore
04-24-2008, 05:04 PM
The volume on the tv or a stereo has to be an even number or divisible by 5. If it isn.t I have to leave the room.

So tell me...what is your favorite board game?

brunettechic
04-24-2008, 05:08 PM
Cranium. Or Scrabble. Cranium's better if you have more people.

So tell me... what do you collect?

lestermaddox
04-24-2008, 09:24 PM
White teapots. I just love the shape of them. And white for two reasons - 1. they all match (which is very important!) and 2. white shows the shape better.

I also have a kitchen full of roosters. For some reason my boys think I like roosters, so they get me roosters for every birthday, mother's day and Christmas. I don't really like roosters, but I have a collection of them.

So tell me....what is your highest level of education.

TinkerbellAPixie
04-25-2008, 04:47 AM
This will surprise you all - I am sure. I collect Tinkerbell stuff.

So tell me have you ever slept straight through your alarm clock?

lennonwhore
04-25-2008, 04:52 AM
Oy. I.m so confused! I.ll answer both questions!

I have a Bachelor.s Degree in Anthropology and Geography. I am working on a a Master.s. I have never slept through my alarm clock b/c my body is conditioned to rise at about 5 every morning (start digging early, get done before the heat of the day).

So tell me...what is your favorite book?

TinkerbellAPixie
04-25-2008, 04:55 AM
I read so much that I am constantly having new favorite boooks. I guess it's the current one I'm reading (unless that sucks). So today it's The Constant Princess - loving it!

(sorry about my question being old - overslept and now too drunk tired to drive just yet)

So tell me...what is the last song you downloaded to your ipod?

Pekmboyd
04-25-2008, 05:49 AM
Golly, I really need to get me one of them fancy music playin' contraption thingies :)

So tell me, what was your favorite toy as a kid?

TinkerbellAPixie
04-25-2008, 06:45 AM
Barbie - I was a total girly girl with Barbie everything. Barbie pool, Barbie van, Barbie airplane. Loved my Barbie and would play with her for hours on end.

So tell me, your answer to the same question cuz I like it.

chooch850
04-25-2008, 07:06 AM
You probably find this hard to believe.... but I was a Barbie fan too. I had the house, the trunk, the clothes, the car, the dog,..... my mom even made clothes. My girlfriends and I had Barbie get togethers at each other's house. I had Midge, Ken, Alan, and Skipper too!

Keep it going....

gasmilicous
04-25-2008, 07:25 AM
I think I had you guys beat...I had the Barbie LIMO and Barbie Ice Cream Shop. :)

brunettechic
04-25-2008, 07:29 AM
I had beach Barbie... right down to Barbie Surf Shop and jeep.

But that wasn't my favorite toy. I looooooooooove My Little Ponies. I had a stable and I took them everywhere and braided their tails. And my brother's favorite were transformers, so we mixed them and played together. Good times...

So tell me... what's your favorite picture? I have a pic of my Grandparents from back in the 50s and I love it. It's framed in my living room.

gasmilicous
04-25-2008, 08:06 AM
My favorite picture is actually a painting by Salvador Dali. Meditative Rose. So peaceful.

So tell me...What is your favorite food/meal?

angiemarie
04-25-2008, 08:44 AM
Yul. I love him, forever and always.

Excellent choice, bc! He's my pick, too.

The volume on the tv or a stereo has to be an even number or divisible by 5. If it isn.t I have to leave the room.

Oh, my law. Len, you are adorably quirky, or quirkily adorable.

My favorite picture is actually a painting by Salvador Dali. Meditative Rose. So peaceful.

So tell me...What is your favorite food/meal?

My grandmother's pasta, unfortunately she passed away so now my sauce is my fave. (It's not as good as my grandma's was though)

So tell me....we're having root beer floats for a treat at work today. What would you like as a treat at work?

gasmilicous
04-25-2008, 08:56 AM
The rest of the day off! Duhhh

I'll keep the question the same...

brunettechic
04-25-2008, 09:06 AM
I don't work... but I would love for my psych reports to write themselves!

Same question...

Clair
04-25-2008, 09:07 AM
My employer has In and Out Day about twice a year. Since I've started working from home, I never drive in to partake.

So tell me, how many hours of sleep each night do you need?

(P.S. My mom refused to buy me any Barbie toys. She didn't think a little girl should grow up believing she could have 'everything'.)

minda07
04-25-2008, 09:28 AM
I need 4 hours and I can function just fine the next day - but I can only do that 2 or 3 times a week. 6 hours makes me happy.

So tell me, red or white wine?

boozie
04-25-2008, 10:09 AM
Both, mixed, with a side of a hot man (preferably rich) wearing nothing by tighty whitey's.

So tell me, are you going to try and make it to either one of the Backstreet Boys or the New Kids on the Block concert this summer?

gasmilicous
04-25-2008, 10:40 AM

(P.S. My mom refused to buy me any Barbie toys. She didn't think a little girl should grow up believing she could have 'everything'.)

That is the same reason I was not allowed Cabbage Patch Kids. My mom refused to stand in line for hours with the rest of the crazy moms just so I could have a one. Of course, as a child, I was devestated and thought she was evil. Now, I totally get it.

No, no BB or NKOTB concerts for me. I don't think I can relive those days!

So tell me...what did you eat for lunch today? (Or what are you going to eat for lunch, if you are a west coaster).

lennonwhore
04-25-2008, 12:27 PM
I had three Reeses Peanut Butter Cups and four Pizza Rolls.

So tell me...what are your plans for dinner?

TinkerbellAPixie
04-25-2008, 12:49 PM
Well we are going to grab some Italian after Wicked is over. Woot - Wicked!

So tell me, Have you ever snuck out of work early when your boss wasn't around?

boozie
04-25-2008, 01:05 PM
Everyday..except I usually just tell him that I am leaving early. I make up stories like "I don't feel good" "My pregnant sister needs me" "There is a cat in a tree outside my house and I need to save it" etc

So tell me, have you ever lied to your boss about why you are not coming into work?

Cherie
04-25-2008, 07:55 PM
So many times I cannot remember.

So tell me-did anyone else know that sunscreen EXPIRES?
OUCHY.

brunettechic
04-25-2008, 09:04 PM
No... and bummer.

So tell me... What do you do when you can't sleep?

lestermaddox
04-25-2008, 09:14 PM
Yes I did know about the sunscreen - learned the hard way!

I read when I can't sleep. Or eat. Good thing I don't usually have trouble sleeping!

So tell me - what is your favorite color?

brunettechic
04-25-2008, 10:07 PM
White. It looks clean.

So tell me... what's your ideal first date?

lennonwhore
04-26-2008, 05:41 AM
Going out to someplace nice for dinner. Maybe a walk down the street listening to all outdoor performers. Followed by some hot making out (or more).

So tell me...what would drag you out of bed at 8 in the morning on a Saturday?

Pekmboyd
04-26-2008, 05:45 AM
Going out to someplace nice for dinner. Maybe a walk down the street listening to all outdoor performers. Followed by some hot making out (or more).

So tell me...what would drag you out of bed at 8 in the morning on a Saturday?

ToddlerPek. Or, more precisely - what drags me out of bed at 6 on a Saturday morning is ToddlerPek :)

So tell me, what is your favorite spot / feature of your house/apartment?

lestermaddox
04-26-2008, 03:39 PM
I love my front porch. I like to sit out there on the glider in the evenings and watch the sunset and the people going by. My youngest likes to come out and sit and talk with me. We sit out there during storms too - and watch the weather. I love my front porch!

So tell me - same question.

brunettechic
04-27-2008, 08:44 AM
My apartment is only about 500 sq. ft., so it's hard to pick a spot. I love my apartment, it's nice and cozy, but just one spot is hard to pick. I guess my bed, because it's way comfortable. I see what you mean about porches though... my grandparents used to live on a point over looking a lake, and they had a HUGE porch that hung out over the water. It was gorgeous and you could just hang out and watch the boats go by. It was very relaxing at night when the water was calm, too.

So tell me about your high school prom.

lennonwhore
04-27-2008, 02:40 PM
Well, my high school prom took place at a 5 star hotel. It was ok, I guess. We danced, got drunk and went to Florida the next day. My sister just went to her senior prom, I hope she had fun.

So tell me...what do you love most about rainy days?

Clair
04-27-2008, 06:43 PM
That my garden and lawn get watered for free (and with no effort on my part)!

So tell me, what physical attribute do you like the most about yourself?

lestermaddox
04-27-2008, 09:51 PM
mmm - probably my eyes. They are hazel really, but they take on the color of whatever I am wearing - from green to blue shades. I especially like them when I wear green and they become this oceany-jadey color. (okay - I know those aren't really words, but I don't know how else to describe them!)

So tell me....what kind of music do you like best.

RachWho?
04-28-2008, 04:02 AM
Indie rock. I can't really stand most music that is played on top 40 stations, although every once in a while a pop song will really catch my ear. Unfortunately, most music that gets played on regular radio stations sucks hard core in my opinion. That's why I love my satellite radio!

So tell me...is there someone from your past that you've lost touch with that you REALLY wish you could find and get back in contact with?

TinkerbellAPixie
04-28-2008, 09:45 AM
Yup - my childhood best friend Becky. We lost touch after college, then regained touch. But by then we were so completely different than we had been that we couldn't recapture the magic. I tried to stay in touch but it was all one-side. <sigh>

So tell me, what was the last stage show you saw?

boozie
04-28-2008, 10:15 AM
Daniel and the Lions Den - my brother is a singer/actor and he is currently working for a Christian Theatre in PA. Not really religious but the musical was awesome. I became one with God that day.

So tell me, what is the best on/off Broadway show you've seen? (Sorry Tink...can't really think this afternoon to come up with one of my own)

lennonwhore
04-28-2008, 12:03 PM
I got to see Chicago when I went to London. It was probably one of the funnest experiences. I also got to see Beauty and the Beast, that was when it first opened.

So tell me...what kind of dancer are you, crazy or inhibited?

brunettechic
04-28-2008, 12:14 PM
Inhibited. All of my friends like clubs and dancing and I just feel dumb when I dance. It's sad.

So tell me... what's the name of your favorite Pandora radio station?

lestermaddox
04-29-2008, 06:51 AM
Okay, I guess I am stupid, but I don't know what Pandora radio is. I don't listen to radio anyway -I dowload music, burn cd's and that is what I listen to in the car. I hate radio - all the ads are BAD!

So tell me.....has this thread run its course?

TinkerbellAPixie
04-29-2008, 08:53 AM
Hell no! :(

Yup, I do it while on hold for a call or while waiting for a big report to print, etc. I multi-task. :)

So tell me, are there any songs with your name in them? (Ex. Jesse's girl, Oh Sherry, etc.)
