Here you go derder. Let's share our confusion with the Chris vote. I feel like Shane felt at the last 2 tribal councils. And what a tool Ryan was. Very non-celebratory. Guess he knew he was running out of time.

I haven't been watching the eliminations. The results are shocking, although I'm still glad Katherine is staying.
Bottom-line, Chris doesn't need to win this competition to make it big. The others need it more, IMO. Kind of like how Carrie needed the win more than Bo. If any of that makes sense...

Oh, WOW! As a huge Taylor fan, I was so happy that he was safe that it sort of overshadowed anything else. I was so scared when they made him sing JHR again! I thought it meant he was B2! but then everythign was okay. Seriously these results shows are so stressful when you have a hardcore favorite.
That said, I was not a big Chris fan, his type of music is irritating to me, but I think he probably deserved to make it longer than Kat, who has sucked for two weeks now, and knew it. She was totally expecting to go home, you could tell by her face. Oh, well. Chris is probably better off being in a band anyway.
In conclusion: Go, Taylor, go! :)

Firecat, I completely agree with you. I think that in the long run what happened will be much better for Chris. He's already built up such a large fan base. And he'll have the freedom to create an album with his true style -- not what the American Idol execs think will sell.
Yesterday at work we were all discussing who we thought would go and I had to admit that, although I really like Chris, I like the others more and wished that he would go. But I never thought that would actually happen! I'm at a loss as to what will happen next. From the beginning I've always been a Taylor fan but Katharine has been growing on me (despite what everyone else apparently thinks). I may actually have to -- gasp -- start voting! Better late than never, I suppose. :)

Apparently the band "Fuel" offered Chris the position of lead singer...

I think that he should take the offer. It can't hurt and he has a loyal fanbase already.

Honestly, I think he'd do LOADS better as a frontman for a band, than as a solo artist, anyway. Think it's more the thing for the kind of music he likes. he should take the Fuel offer - he sang their song really well in the semis!

I don't understand why they're still having theme-heavy music so close to the end. this should be the opportunity for each of them to really shine and shouldn't be so slanted to a single type of music.

Chirs was on the Today Show today (is that redundant?) -
Fuel did offer - he is thinking it over.
Rob Thomas told him to go solo - he is thinking it over.
Live called him - he didn't get to finish because they had to go to commerical.
He also spewed a little venom at Ryan. He accused Ryan of dangling the carrot in front of him when Ryan said "People have said you could be the next American Idol" and then Ryan thowing it away like garbage when Ryan said "Chris you are going home."
Ryan is a Fox Channel Tool, Chris is a sore loser and Paula is probably downing the first bottle of pills this morning~

Ugh. Valerie Bertinelli circa One Day at a Time, would you please get up off the floor?!?!?!?! You look like an awkward mess. Yeah, I always thought "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" was best sung in a crumpled heap.

I'm voting for Elliot as I type. Kat should go tonight, even though she had one great moment.

I was reading Entertainment Weekly today...Apparently Chris auditioned for Rock Star: INXS before he went on Idol. How the heck did he not make the cut?

Dana on Rock Star: Supernova auditioned for American Idol, she didn't make it on American Idol.
