Oh damn.... a Jack episode...... kind of a let down from last week. I wish his appendix would have burst. Okay.... I admit that it moved the story along and answered a few questions about him, Kate, and Aaron, but where the fuck did Clair go and will we ever know?? (maybe she went shopping for a new wig)

I hope Hurley doesn't stay in the nut house forever. He deserves better.....

this episode was kinda slow for me. i wanted more action!

I found myself hoping that Juliette would "pull a Jack" and screw up the surgery. But then there was a flashforward reminding me that Jack makes it off the island... darn.

At least Bernard chloroformed his ass and shut him up for a little while!

Did anyone think that when Jack said to Kate "you're son!?? you're not even related to him!!" that he was referring to the fact that he is in fact Aaron's uncle and if so then somehow he found out that Claire was his sister!?!?

And WTF was Kate doing for Sawyer!?! And was the implication that people stayed behind and are actually alive because for some reason I assumed they were all dead and that was why they didn't come back but if they stayed they would have to make everyone think they died.

I am not sure the fact that Daniele is dead means we won't see her. Death doesn't seem to stop these people from actively being involved on the island (or off - see Charlie, Christian).

I feel bad for Jack, no sooner does he feel happy than Hurley makes him feel bad about it. And he was there to see Hurley to help him. Tsk tsk - bad Hugo bad.

Btw, Hugo's hair is getting out of control.

I didn't enjoy this episode. I thought it was kind of boring and I actually found myself looking at a crossword puzzle I was working on before the show started. That has NEVER happened before.

I seriously hate Miles. I always did and now, the way he acted about Claire walking off into the jungle in the middle of the night just made me hate him even more. Jerk! I wonder if Miles could see Christian because Christian is dead/a ghost or if he could see him because he's really there. I don't care too much which it is, but I was a little curious at the time.

Jack and Kate together were grossing me out. I wish Sawyer would clean up a little.

Boo, I was hoping Danielle was still alive. I thought it was interesting that Rose's comments that the island "makes people better" were in the same episode with confirmation that Danielle and Carl are dead.

Did anyone notice when Jack was half-naked at the beginning of the show if he had a scar from his appendectomy. If he didn't have a scar, it can't be real. It's all a dream like Bobby on Dallas. lol. And speaking of half-naked Jack, he looked awfully hairless at the beginning of the show. I thought he had chest hair, or am I confusing him with someone else.


This episode was kind of boring to me. Way too much Jack and Kate (Kack? Jate?) for my taste.

I always hang on to my episodes until the next week. That way I can refer back since so often recaps and those EW columns reference things I'll need to see. So - just for you guys I've gone back to look and see if Jack has a scar.

Jack did not have a scar but he had two tatts I've never noticed before, one really small one on his back and one under the arm that has the one we all know about.

When Kate was in the shower and you just heard her voice telling him she bought him a razor - it was a much much deeper voice than Kate has. The did the same thing with Henry's voice when he was sewing up Sayid before we saw him. I hate when they do that.

The only problem with this show is that they haven't wrapped up any story lines and they keep referring back to things that happened in the first or second season. For example, I had completely forgotten that Jack and Claire are siblings until the episode where we see that Kate has custody of Aaron and someone on this site reminded me that Jack is the uncle. Then I forgot again until this last episode where Jack seems to be living with Kate and Aaron and, again, someone here had to remind me. So I really don't think I can be blamed that I totally didn't have a clue that Sawyer has a daughter. When the heck did that happen???

Remember when Sawyer was getting out of jail (I cannot remember which season) and he told them to open an account with the money owed to him in the name of Clementine something. He had gotten some woman pregnant and told her he didn't want anything to do with it but then he opened that account for her. I don't think they've ever mentioned it again. This might have been the first season. I'll go back and look.
And I didn't remember that or that Jack and Claire were siblings either.

i dont think that its getting answered tonight but has anyone read any spoliers about the rest of the season? i read a spoiler on that said who was in the coffin. I kinda wish that i hadnt read it cause (if its true) i would rather be surprised.
