I dont see a thread yet to discuss last nights episode, so I thought I'd start one.

OMG OMG OMGOMG. I was almost out of my seat shoulting "SAY IT!! 'MICHAEL...SHOT ME' JUST SAY IT!!!"

So this is what I gathered from last night...

they found the Pearl Station, not the question mark in the center of the map from the blast door, i know the mark in the grass looked like maybe the plane was over the dot of the ?, but after thoroughly reading the lost-forum boards (belive me they triple check every detail) the pearl station is one of the sub stations off to southeast of the ? on the blastdoor map, it even says so on the map.

the miracle girls dad was claire's pychic---do you think he had his first real vision with claire? that he is a complete fraud? is a psychic and said what eko needed to hear to get on flight 815

Oh--Dr. Marvin Candle reappeared,as Wickman(?) but both arms were functional, iguess he acts as someone differnet in each orientation video?

Was that heroine on the table in the pearl hatch?

The orientation video at the Pearl is dated 1980, the one at the Swan is dated 1985 isnt it? Or something like that. SO the "incident" he speaks of in the Swan video could be what Marvin Candles injury, hense the fake arm.

I think it was heroine, which I guess really isnt a surpirse considering what landed onthe door...

Wheres the other entrance to that hatch?

Poor Hurley. Its sad that he is blaming himself now because he forgot the blankets...

Locke used to really be into all of this stuff, what happened? I don't remember. He seems so skeptical now, did he forget how his legs seem to have been "cured?"

I think Locke's issue is that he totally believes in the island, he believes that in being there he can have this totally better life than he had off of it - on the island he is a leader, a hunter, respected, someone people look to for answers or to show them what to do - and off of it he was just a guy working a job he didn't seem to like too much, who got conned by his own father, and lost the woman he loved. So he believes the island is like this chance for him to be the person he always wished he was in the real world. Which is why I think he gets so cynical and upset when he doesn't understand the map, or the hatches, or the pushing the button - and why he really got upset when the video said it was just a excersie or something, because if all that's true, if it's all a joke, then everythign he is there is a joke to, if the island has no meaning, then HE has no real meaning on it - he's not special, he's not chosen, he's not meant to do anything other than be a lab rat, basically.

I hope he and Eko become like best friends, because I think they are awesome in all their scenes together.
