I read this on People, turned to my husband and said "What is the most unlikely celebrity you can think of to announce he's having a child?" and my darling husband paused, then said "Clay Aiken!". That's why I married him - he's brilliant :)
Then I told my mom that he was having a child, and she gave me this weird look....then I told her the woman was artificially inseminated, and she got that "ohhhhh" look.

I'm making that same look now with a slight shoulder roll added in.

ehhh... Everyone is having babies right now... it's very trendy... why not Clay. I'm just surprised the woman is 50, kinda old for child-birthing.

I have so many thoughts about this, both professionally and as an amateur pop-culture expert.
All of my thoughts from both roles can be boiled down to this: "EWWWW!" and "It's just wrong."

How would you like to be that kid and when someone asks who your daddy is he has to say Clay Aiken! I read the story three times when I first saw it because I was sure I had read it wrong.

I thought it might be a story from The Onion!

I wouldn't exactly say "ew" but I do agree that having children is a fad right now. It's so upsetting, these people cant even take care of themselves let alone a child. That's not a healthy environment to raise a baby, such a horrible idea.
