I love these challenges and never miss one. This one looks great and it's nice to see they changed up the format. It looks like a great cast for the most part with only a few who drive me crazy.

You’ve seen the cast members battle it out before – the hook ups, the blow outs, and all that drama. But this time around it’s a whole new game. 20 former Real Worlders and Road Rulers will compete for survival on an island off the coast of Panama in the Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Island. While there is some hefty prize money involved, contestants will be fighting to stay alive, and that means forming alliances. That’s right – no predetermined teams, so somebody’s gonna get left out. And it wouldn’t be a RW/RR Challenge without some romantic drama to bring some together and tear others apart.

Didn't make it to the chat - but.....

OMG WTF??? Seriously, this one is going to be AWESOME... they are already freaking out! No food or drinking water... but plenty of alcohol! Watched the epi last night, and can I just say - what was Tonya thinking? Everyone would embrace her old ass and be besties with her? I was annoyed though how Ryan kept saying "Tonya is the craziest, most insane bitch alive.................. but I love her..." Even when he voted her off he said something about how nuts she is.

First impressions:

Wow, KellyAnne sure is a skank. Guaranteed jealously from Cowhutta. I loved how she just puked all over her bedroom floor and the proceeded to roll over in bed, smiling. Classy chick.

I want to punch E.Colie in the face.

Dumby Bear (Dunbar) is still a douche.

Evelyn could eat any dude there for breakfast. She's a total ninja.

Kenny is the biggest a$$hole ever, but seriously, the man is good looking. Lerve him.

I think Rachel looks like Anthony Kiedis from the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

OMG Rachel-- which way to the gun show?? I thought Ev was a buff bitch but Rachel's biceps put half the men on the show to shame.

I hate Dunbar. I hate E Colie. I hate Dave (from RW Hollywood) and I hate Ashlii with her stupidly spelled name. I think it's telling that none of the other Hollywood cast members showed up. I thought at least Kim would be there; she seemed as directionless as Dave to me. So far I already miss: Brad, Ace, and Coral.

Johanna and Kenny- that was sort of weird. Why were they romping in the sand and dry humping each other in front of THE WHOLE HOUSE?! And why was everyone standing on the deck and just... watching?!! So, so weird.

Anyway, looks like this is going to be a very interesting show. Nice to see we have Abram sitting in for CT as "d-bag most likely to give someone a black eye" this season. For some reason I like Abram, though, even though he seems to randomly punch people at every opportunity.

I agree blazergirl. If all the elimination challenges are geared to the physical the weaker girls never really had a chance going in. This is the reason I totally love I LOVE MONEY. Stupid skinny bitches can still win the game.

I always thought Kenny was amusing, but the way he kept calling Tonya a "retard" really turned me off him. And they way he and Johanna were making out seemed so fake. I have a sneaking suspicion that Kenny is really gay, not that there is anything wrong with that.

Poor Tonya, she should just give up challenges. They are obviously too much for her. And the sooner Kelly Anne and Asshhlliii are off my television, the better. And I can't believe I have to endure that asshat Dunbar again.

The no challenge thing is really weird and confusing. Is it going to be an hour long Real World episode with one gauntlet/inferno at the end every episode? And how can you get the key off of Kenny or Abram now that they each have one? Do they have to go into the competition again?

Kenny/Abram can be challenged for their key in the "faceoff" (I think) then if they are voted off, they entrust their key to their friend in the game.

Here's what the website says: "In order to get a key, contestants must risk it all in a three-way face-off. Yup, each week three contestants do battle, and one leaves -- leaves for the other island, that is. After each face-off, the winner receives a key, and one of the losers is voted off The Island. Naturally, the rules can change at any time and no key-holder is ever completely safe."

So the ones voted off go to another island??? Well now I'm completely confused. Where's TJ Lavin when you need him? ;)

I think this would work better if they really didn't have the amenities that they do - they complain about not having power, but then at night you can see the island from outer space with all the tv lighting. Force them to light fires and don't replenish their alcohol stash and watch the freak outs begin!!

I'm totally hoping that Robin, Paula, Johnny and Ryan take it - but we know that's not going to happen. But they are the only ones in the cast that I actually like (as much as you can like these people)
