Loved the new reality show on HGTV for designers! Very different from the usual stuff on the channel but it's fun (& there's conflict!). Really looking forward to this week's episode. So glad to see Ramona go (a mural of Miss Utah doesn't qualify as design in any universe). And how great is it to see Vern Yip on TV again?

The HGTV (Home and Garden Television) For people who don't know what it stands for. But yeah I don't like the girl that has been a interior Designer for 7 years. She just thinks she has it in the bag and that she's going to win because she feels she has the expertise to have her own show and that is ot right but all in all its a good show Last Sunday is the first time I saw it for the first time...I'm going to continue watching it remember ya'll it comes on HGTV 71 or 55 who have Comcast Digital Cable. Dont know if anyone else is into this show still but its coming to its end and I LOVE it!! I want David to win - he is the perfect designer and he is head and shoulders above Alice. Of course, I liked Tym better than Alice too.

Anyone else plan on watching Sunday night and voting???

I really like this show too. I think David's great, but I think my taste is more in line with Alice. She seems to be more traditional and David is more contemporary. I'll definitely be watching Sunday.

I've been watching religiously. I love Alice - but I like David too so I'm really torn. I loved the rooms they did for the last challenge. I will have to see how they do in the finale before I figure out who to vote for.

I liked both rooms they did for the final challenge, although David's room was more my taste. Vern Yip was right when he said David's room needed a splash of color. Alice's room was adorable, but I hated the green curtains she had. I don't think she needs any wall coverings/curtains for that room.

The most surprising part of the show was how hard Temple and Tym worked for the designers. That was really cool of them! :yes:

I loved both rooms but in the end it came down to who would I want to see week after week on my TV...

David won last night - it was a great season finale and recap - they showed some of the townhouse footage that wasnt shown before.

I really loved this show - it was well done from start to finish. They didnt over dramatize everything as they could have and I love Clive Pearse - just for his accent alone.

Cant wait for Davids Design Show and the next Design Star!!

It sure doesnt hurt that David has quite the Abs and Pecs!

It was so sad when Michael's show was canceled and he cried and said he wanted his mommy. I really felt sorry for him. This was the saddest elimination I've ever witnessed on a reality show.

It's on Sundays at 9 pm Eastern on HGTV. Not sure when they re-run them. I was away last week and I caught one re-run on Sunday at 5 pm (as I didn't get home until Saturday).

I had actually liked Michael, until first, his room wasn't that great and second, when he started crying!

I don't think any of them have done anything great or out of the box.

Finally caught the last episode of DS and almost wish they could have eliminated two people. I really disliked Tracy's room because it wasn't done cleanly. I get what she was going for and it was very pop-arty, but it wasn't clean.

I also thought they dropped the ball and the tragedy of the broken vases. I would have liked them to come back to that topic to show how she worked around it. (I call her "She" cuz I don't know "her" name since they hardly every show whiny broken vase lady).

Well we have a new Design Star, not the one I wanted but I knew the moment they narrowed the final three to a blonde, a handsome gay and the burly dude that they would pick Antonio. They don't have anyone like him so he fills a new niche. So what if his designs weren't as good as Dan's - right?

Ooooo, I missed it. There was so much on last night. I had a feeling the bearded one would win, based on last week's show. All throughout this season, I've felt like I've seen Dan before. Hasn't he already been on a design show? Maybe as a helper or assistant?

I think Dan auditioned last year for Design Star but didn't make it. I don't know what else, if anything, he has been in.

Personally, I like Dan's design style better than Antonios'; but Antonio has a great personality. Which the judges loved. I think if Dan had his own show it would be just like the rest of them that are already on hgtv. I would still watch it though, because I like those shows! :D
