Rate the Houseguests

How would you rate people at playing the game so far? Keep in mind that whether you like them or not is irrelevant.

A-Janelle: Amazingly strong in competitions. Playing the dumb blonde fairly well, even though people knew that was her strategy in the first go-around.

Will: Annoying as heck in the first few weeks, but is starting to show his manipulative colors. Sewing doubt where he needs to, analyzing potential beneficial alliances where he needs. Using Boogie like a master puppeteer.

B+
James: Technically part of the largest alliance (S6) as well as allied with the strongest floater (Danielle). Has he shown his multiple allegiance hand too soon? Definitely vulnerable if/when Danielle goes.

Howie: Working the “dumb guy” thing to the whole house, and the “loyal to the end” guy thing to Janelle. Smart to be one of the few nice to Chicken George – keep in mind that every vote counts! Still has yet to show an ability to be a force in competitions.

Danielle: Came out far to strong week 1, but learned from that and laid low for a couple of weeks. This last week she’s definitely reasserting herself. Working James for all she’s worth, which is making him work hard on her behalf.

George: Plays dumb about the game. Is definitely not close to being able to match most in the physical challenges. But has more heart than most. Is playing the wise man’s voice to many. Is allowing several folks to talk about themselves (which feeds egos) by asking about the game in their years.

B-Kaysar: Talks about having a long-term strategy, but it’s unclear what that is, or whether it will be effective. S6 allies are strong, but his floater ally in Erika isn’t terribly strong. He’s been moping around the house far too long. Hopefully Janie’s “lighten up” chat will help him be more a part of the house.

Marcellas: Learned early on to 1) stick to Janelle, and 2) get over his hatred of Danielle. Getting along with two of the strongest players in the game ain’t stupid! But you have to be able to win competitions to get much further.

Erika: Does she bring anything to the game? Her strategy seems to be 1) walk around in a bikini, 2) horn in on any conversation that you think might be about strategy, and 3) attempt not to directly answer any strategic question put to you.

Boogie: So obnoxious in personal relationships, so ineffectual in competitions. Hanging on to Will for dear life.

Diane: Strategy seems to be whining about how miserable she is, and how broke she is. Um, yeah, no one cares.

I think that's really good. I'd say, though, that Janelle's rating is kinda pending her decision for a replacement nomination. If she picks Danielle, I'd give her an A+, and if she picks Will, I'd let her keep the A. If she picks anybody else, I'd have to downgrade her.

If, in my wildest dreams, she put up James, I guess she'd earn immediate canonization, or whatever else is above A+.

I still love Janey too -but her readiness to be too trusting and weak in her noms is troubling. She shouldn't be concerned about letting others "help" her nominate. She should just do what's best for her.

Janelle: As noted strong in competitions, moreover she is socially adept. She entered with a large target on her back and it’s even larger now. This week she has shown cracks in her gameplay; is she gonna “thrown S6 under the bus” and work with Will? Is she keeping him or Boogie so they can take out one of her alliance for her? If she gets played by CT she deserves it.

Will: I beg to differ. I see him a one trick pony acting out his former season. Much of his high mach persona is too rehearsed and stale. He is the archetypal narcissist, he loves himself and surrounds himself with the less attractive or intelligent to feed his ego. He might be more gullible or vulnerable than he seems (his love of Zone diet, slenderize fuze, and plastic surgery which gives him the perceived notion of bettering himself. His multiple business deals, which require a modest amount of focus or effort on his part also show his desire to be superficially successful to many). He is vulnerable when confronted with intelligent and attractive people, threatened because Janelle and Kaysar are attractive and smart like him PLUS socially likable. He becomes confused, at times trying to charm Janelle all the while knowing it won’t work she is too cunning. He will not last long, everyone is on to him.
B
James: The crux of James is he follows the Ayn Rand school of rational self-interest as evidenced by his Right Wing beliefs, lack of sympathy for minorities and hurricane survivors, and the war in Iraq. He definitely lives that way, his loyalties in both seasons constantly shifted and he seldom feels remorse for lying because if one falls for his machinations it's their own fault. Dicking everyone over could get him far but will not win him jury votes.

Howie: Insecure lug who’s out of his league. Has no ability to scheme and the best way to manipulate him is through flattery. He lets his lack of confidence rule his actions from proclaiming himself “the handsomest contestant in Big Bro history” to insulting tirades disparaging female contestants looks (April which was provoked and quite funny to Nak which was completely irrational and shows how well the big baby reacts to the slightest criticism). He will never win but will last a while cuz no one sees him as a threat.
B
Danielle: She is smart and “friends” with the entire house. She allied with James and CT, the three most disloyal and morally questionable players. Will they “throw her under the bus?” Better yet, does she ever shut up? Time will tell.
D
George: “Most heart?” “Voice of wisdom?” Do you mean his veto speech or his “you’re alright” spiel. I find all of his comments trite and cheesy. Everyone realizes his special ed act is fake and he does not deserve to be chosen, much less win the damn thing.
B-
Kaysar: Trying to negotiate wildly convergent values. He wants to be a mastermind of AllStars, yet feels the game is trivial. His beliefs are that one should strive for integrity, compassion, and utility. The desparate longing to be a good person reflects his often patronizing statements. I do not think his heart is in the game because he realizes he cannot be the nice guy and win.

Marcellas: Hitching your wagon to a star will get you far; how is his sycophantic fawning different from Booger‘s to Will? No matter how much ass he kisses he is not an original S6er plus he throws too many tantrums. IF he makes it to final 2 no one will vote for him!

Erika: Michael Jackson got implants and entered the house as part of the “Hell“ motif. Outside of that superficial dismissal I agree with the posters “Her strategy seems to be 1) walk around in a bikini, 2) horn in on any conversation that you think might be about strategy, and 3) attempt not to directly answer any strategic question put to you.” And she hits on my beloved Kaysar while Booger is her undercover lover. Janie and James see through her transparent, they have been making fun of her "strategy" lately. All this damning evidence is grounds for her eviction.

Diane: A living fable. The HG who was sooo smart at game play duped by a pretty face. She pulled herself up by her boot straps and moved to LA to try the model/acting thing. Now she lives in a car, I guess short, typical looking models aren’t too popular. She makes her BAD rep more pathetic by crying and complaining constantly. STF!!! You don’t deserve attention or sympathy for being a dumbass! And be happy you get to live in the house instead of a Corolla! She won’t win, she has no real alliance and no one likes her.
