Do you ever get a jingle stuck in your head?

I have fossilized jingles still running on a loop in my brain. Here's one:

Escape the greasies with Agree
Shampoo and conditioner will set you free
See how clean your hair can be
ESCAPE!

Or, another shampoo one:

Make it strong on the inside
So it shines on the outside
Vibrance!

Please share your jingles so I can stop singing these.

Here's one from back when I was a little chitlin:

I can bring home the bacon
fry it up in a pan
and never, never, never, never let him forget he's a man
cause I'm a woman...ENJOLI!

I remember being so puzzled about how a woman would have to help a man remember he was a man. What caused him to forget THAT? Must be something very traumatic. I even asked my Mom about it and she said it just meant that women take care of everyone. She was smooth.

"888-588-2300 Empireeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!"

For the record, when I am out and a creepy guy wants my number - the digits I give him are 588-2300.

I can't believe you remember the perfume was called Enjoli! I always thought it was Charlie. Uh oh... wait a second... am I?... Yup! I am! Now I'm singing the frickin' Charlie song in my head! Shitdamnfuckhell! I hate this thread.

I didn't recognize monkeypeanut's and zoobabe's jingles but the rest of them are flying through my head right now, and thanks to Tinkerbell in another thread, I've got the Fanta song in there, too.

Wanta Fanta doncha wanta fry it up in a pan, meow meow meow meow I love to eat it every day 'cause I'm a woman... Char-leee!

In Southern California, the one that gets me every time is

"Keyes, Keyes, Keyes. Keyes on Van Nuys." which is sung to the tune of "Barbara Ann" of the Beach Boys.

And who can forget the FANTA GIRLS (http://www.fanta.com/fantanas.jsp?loc=all) (sorry, the Fantanas)?

"Wanna Fanta. Don't you wanna wanna Fanta?"

I have never actually tasted Fanta in my life, and I'm sure it's way too sugary for me, but I'll never be tired of that jingle. I know a lot of others hate it though.

Some of the local jingles are the best ones of all. Of course by "best" I mean cheesiest and most snarkworthy.

"..only at Mattress Giant..."

here's my fave commercial jingle:

the world looks mighty good to me, 'cuz Tootsie Rolls are all I see
whatever it is I think I see, becomes a Tootsie Roll to me.
Tootsie Rolls- how about some chocolately chew.
Tootise rolls I think I'm in love with you.
whatever it is I think I see, becomes a Tootsie Roll to me.

You must be a youngster. Us older folks remember it without the "888" part. And way back when, before cell phones and text messages, when we were mad at someone, we would page them with Empire's phone number. Oooh... we were so clever!

For a few days, I've had:

"Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun" running through my head. I don't even LIKE Big Macs, but whatever.

And then I'll get "Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't. Almond Joys got nuts, Mounds don't." Not sure why I have the 70s jingles stuck in my head...

I don't think I've ever heard the "888" part in the Empire Jingle song.

Tinkerbell: I was just about to point out Mattress Giant. Ooh, ahh!

Actually in Chicago it was without the 888 part, but when I moved to Orlando we started getting it here with it and I was laughing that we couldn't escape that Empire Carpet Man. Sadly, In Orlando you don't get a free Wilson Michael Jordan basketball when you call in.

Good call on the Tootsie Roll Jingle!

When did you move (and don't you miss Chicago? :))? They added the 888 part quite a few years ago but they didn't bother retaping the jingle. They sort of superimposed someone singing 888 in front of the rest and it doesn't quite match. It sounds like the first season of Project Runway or any season of America's Next Top Model when they have to go back and retape Heidi or Tyra to explain something better.

I like bread and butter,
I like toast and jam.
I like those good and simple things, and that's why I like Spam!
I like it in the morning,
I like it late at night...

And that is all I can remeber, but it is one of my favorites.

And then the last line What would you do-ooh-ooh for a Klondike bar?

(The answer is almost anything, damn those things are good! )

If you're from the DC area you've probably heard the Eastern Motors jingle. It's a horrible tune played to some sort of rap that is as ghetto as Eastern Motors itself.

"At Eastern Motors, your job's your credit..."

How did the rest of it go?

If you want a set of wheels, go see Cal.
If you want a better deal, go see Cal.
If you want a car or truck,
If you want to save a buck,
If you want to change your luck
Go see Cal.

I've been watching TOO much Disney Channel, thanks to my daughter, so now I have this jingle from a new show about to premiere, The Replacements. Thankfully, it is kind of a cool jingle, but it's stuck in my brain.

Cute commercial! I also like the one with all the baby animals with Rod Stewart's "Forever Young" playing. I can't even remember what it's for, but I loved all the babies.

The Big Red chewing gum jingle pops into my head every now and then...

"Give your breath long lasting freshness with Big Red!"
