So - in the course of trying to move posts about this week's Heroes to the thread for this week's Heroes - somehow I accidentally deleted the whole thread. I KNOW I SUCK.
However, I did manage to go back a page and still have the posts on one screen - can't save them - can copy/paste the text here.
Forgive my mistake....:blushing:
Maybe it really is time for me to give this up. (sigh)

YAYAY! I'm so happy Heroes is back!! It was a great first ep, too... although I am not looking forward to EMOClaire, or Nikki/Jessica/Tracy/WHOTHEFUCKAMI?. Nathan was quite interesting as Mr."I see dead people" and Hiro and Ando were, as always, adorable. I heart Ando and can't wait til he gets a power, because you just know Mohinder is going to find a way to make this happen.
(Maybe, though, Mohinder and Maya will inexplicably disappear along with the kids and the cute girl from New Orleans? YES/ NO? Who can I talk to to make this happen??)
(And PS How in the HELL is Jessica/ Nikki/ Tracy/ WTFAI still alive??? Anyone? Bueller???)
(And PSS Poor Matt :( )

Did anyone watch? Wow... I was so confused at first. I had to go back and read the recap of the season #2 finale. It was basically what I thought, but with that in mind, I rewound what I had watched and started anew.
Claire sure is FIERCE in the future & Peter is still a HOTTIE, even with the scar.
It was Peter who shot Nathan, not HRG!! "Future Peter" did it for Claire. I'm a little confused how Nathan healed himself. Was it from the blood he got the last time he died? Mama Petrelli's not pleased with Peter. He fucked everything up and changed the future & not the way he wanted to..... and she knows he's "future Peter" and she wants to know where "present Peter" is! Now it's all different. Didn't he ever watch "Back To the Future". Doc Brown warned this would happen.
Oh that Sylar's a mean one. Don't ya just LOVE him! He really freaked me out when he chopped off the top of Claire's head and played with her brain & then screwed it back on, hair & all. Why didn't he have to eat her brain?....and what did he do to make her not feel anymore?
Hiro is still Hiro! I'm glad of that. He has a new mission now. I love "Speedo Girl". She's a little klepto. That trip into the future was something else. Ando has powers and turns Hiro into a crispy critter. Now Hiro doesn't trust him anymore... poor Ando hasn't done anything yet!
.......Matt in the desert talking to turtles & not having Sprint... lololol
Nikki is NOT Nikki, she's Tracey and she can freeze people to bits!!! Awesome.
Bob's brain is gone and so is Bob, but Sylar can turn guns into gold! Poor Elle, she just wanted Dad to be proud. She caught Sylar, lost Dad, & got fired all in one day!
Mohlender or what ever his name is.....is still an idiot. He could have gotten rid of Sylar so many times last season & he seems to be on the same path this season too. At least he's getting laid. Poopeye's accent is gone for some reason too...... and Mohlender giving himself the shot in the hope of the whole world having abilities and then he gets powers with bad after-effects. Smells alot like PROMICIN to me... Nathan and his "God" re-birth, coming from the future to change the past..... *cough 4400 cough* ..... just saying.
Mama Petrelli is Sylar's mommy..... now that could be fun!!!
I love this season already. I think they want us to forget last season and start us on a new adventure and I'm sooo ready!!!

look out, this post is spoilerific...
oooh, I forgot about that! And how Claire said, "are you going to eat my brain?" and Sylar replies.. "Claire! That's DISGUSTING." lol ..... so I guess he just looks inside to see how things work? And since Claire can heal, he didn't have to kill her?? hmm..
Oh, and Mamma Petrelli is also SYLAR'S MOM??!?!?! *brain explodes*

Shitdamnhellfuck! I had a whole post here ready to go and I hit something funky on my keyboard and it's all gone. Here's the condensed version...
Chooch, it sounded like Linderman healed Nathan in the hospital. But Linderman had his brain squeezed to death last season, so is he real? Is Nathan imagining him? Is he invisible??? Weird.
And I totally thought of the 4400, too! What a ripoff! But first, how stupid does Mohinder have to be to think it's okay to drop the syringe full of super-power-making-chemicals into a river??? That's probably how that Cloverfield monster got born! Crazy mutant fish jacked up on black-eye-girl's adrenalin juice. Mohinder sure is a dumb ass. And I thought for sure the black-eye-girl was going to use her black eyes and kill Mohinder when she realized what he was going to do with that formula. She should have. He's just an idiot. (But he's super hot when he's half naked and sweaty!)
How the hell did Nikki get a job with the senator guy? Don't they do background checks???
"Clair, that's disgusting" -- cracked me up!!! And I think you're right, h4b. It seemed like he just needed to see how the brain or the power worked. But what did he do to Claire's brain that made her not feel anything anymore? That's gonna be scary. She could wind up looking like the chicks from Death Becomes Her!
Oooh! I'm so mad. I can't remember all the things I wanted to ask about.
Great episode! I was afraid I was over the show, but it pulled me right back in!

I'm afraid I'm over it - my husband thought the premiere was great, I fell asleep half an hour in. Just not up for a show that I have to think so hard to follow. I wish I was, but I'm just not. I do plan to buy it all on DVD when it's over so I can watch it straight through...I still believe it's a good show, I just don't have the brain power to keep up.

Really enjoyed the first 2 episodes, much better than the start of season 2.
Really didn't see the end of episode 2 coming.

I wasn't sure if Mama Petrelli is really Sylar's mother OR if she was the one who gave him his powers (so his 'new-self' mama). Also, I know that they need the scar to differentiate the two Peters, but can't Peter heal himself (and thus no scar)? One last question (sorry guys) - if Hiro can play with time, then why not go back 5 minutes before Speedy Girl arrives and secure the formula? Too many questions, too little time!

Pikey, I think you're like me and you ask too many questions of a TV show that you're not supposed to ask. :p I drive my husband nuts with this.
I have the same question as you as far as Peter and the scars.
And Hiro mentioned he doesn't want to go back in time because "you saw how it turned out last time". Which I totally thought was a joke alluding to the fact that no one really liked his story line in Japan 400 years ago.
It was such an amazing episode. Now I remember why I love Heroes.

Pek, I'm with you. There's so much going on all the time with this show; everyone's always so intense, making big dramatic speeches about destiny and blah blah blah... I think I need more fluffiness with my TV watching. I loved season 1, because it was started out slowly, learning about the characters and their abilities. Season 2, not so much, but I hung in there. :unsure2:
All the jumping around between times and locations makes my brain hurt. I'm not dissing the show by any means. I fully intend to get this season on DVD when it comes out and watch it at my own pace and will probably love it.
One question though - what happened to Mohinder at the end, when he's looking in the mirror? He pulled something off of (or OUT of??) his shoulder, but I couldn't tell what it was...

Not sure what it was either - looked like a great big fingernail. (ick). It definitely reminded me of Jeff Goldblum falling apart in The Fly.

I'm pretty sure that Mohinder injected himself with lizard juice.
It looked like his skin had a greenish hue and he had those things all over his back, it looked like he was shedding scales or something.
I'm pretty sure he's going to turn into Lizard Man and Maya is going to be all "haha, told you so."

Ok, so I just watched this last night and I LOVED IT! Mama Patrelli is Sylars mama too! The two episodes also made me jump a couple of times.
I do have a question though - was the guy that future peter is stuck in look like Weevil from Veronica Mars? No? Just me?

Omigod, minda, I totally thought the same thing! It didn't sound quite like Weevil, but there was one shot of him where I went "Is that... No, Is it??" then I convinced myself I was wrong, but how cool would that be?
According to imdb, Francis Capra is indeed credited in 2 episodes of Heroes, "The Second Coming" and "Butterfly Effect." Very cool.

Yup, that was Weevil. I was totally excited, too.
That scene with Mohinder really shook me. I get this weird feeling when I see stuff like that. I don't know the word, it's not "fear" -- maybe "anxious"? I feel very unsettled when I see pictures of things coming out of skin that shouldn't be there. Those pictures on worth1000.com where they combine two pictures to make it look like foreign objects are in -- you know what? I can't even continue; I'm getting all worked up and I'm not even looking at the stupid pictures. Never mind!
Point is, if Mohinder is going to keep that up, I'm gonna have to stop watching parts of it, which is a shame because he sure does look good with no shirt on. :infatuated2:

That cinches it - you need Mohinder in your sig line - is there room? or is it time to go double layers yet?
jampony
09-26-2008, 07:13 PM
Hmmm, good point. I'll have ponder that for a while. My Mohinder attraction is mostly for his sweaty naked chest (and back, and arms, and...). And I really don't like his character much, which is important. But he is really, really hot. Damn. This is quite the dilema!

Have you been watching Fringe? You may need to add Pacey too - so that would then justify the second row. Add Pacey, Add Mohinder, maybe throw in a little Peter Petrelli for Minda to ogle over and then some room to grow...
:p
Can you tell I like drooling over your sig line?
jampony
09-27-2008, 10:41 AM
I'm not a big Pacey fan (but I do love the fringe!). And Peter just doesn't do anything for me (probably because I still see him as Rory's jerky boyfriend). But it's okay that you're drooling over my sig line; I'm always oohing and awwing over yours! :D
