I am sad to see the "comic book geeks" (as Phil so flatteringly described them) go home. I am not really rooting for anyone yet but they were starting to grow on me. If there were any justice in the world those dumb and annoying divorcees would be gone. Their alleged rivalry with Nick and Starr was completely in their heads (Starr threw one of their sports bras off a ledge? Come ON!!) at least until the siblings tried to get Aja and Ty to U-turn them.

Those bicycle-y thingies were ridiculous. They looked straight out of The Flintstones. I would have been terrified to ride one of those.

Oh, and if they McCheatersons win, I will not be happy. Yuck.

I can't blame Starr and Nick for wanting to U-Turn the divorcees after all the ridiculous sports-bra accusations.

As for Mrs. McCheaterson - I finally figured out who she reminds me of:

She's the spitting image of Hatchet Face from Crybaby.

However, Ken is growing on me for some reason. I also kinda like the blondes in an "oh aren't they adorably clueless" sorta way.

Phil was CRACKING me up with his expression as he explained the wrestling challenge. He was trying so hard not to smirk and failing miserably.

Is anyone surprised that Terrance did not do the wrestling challenge?

Terrance reminds me of that guy who was on the team with the nice one-legged lady, and he made the one-legged lady do EVERY roadblock.

At least the McCheatersons are speaking nicely to each other now, winning must put them in a good mood.

I am really starting to root for the Mother/Son team, Toni and Dallas. I like the way he treats his mom. They seems very supportive of each other. (I, of course, reserve the right to hate his guts if he acts like an asshat at a later date.)

I was sad to see the "geeks" go. They seemed to really be enjoying the race and the competition without getting too crazy.

Tink - you're right. Ken is also growing on me, for reasons I cannot explain. He has managed to keep his sense of humor - and really seemed to enjoy the wresting challenge. Toni and Dallas, likewise seem to be doing pretty well and Angie your rights to hate his guts are fully reserved. I also thought the geeks handled themselves really well and were pretty gracious about their defeat. Can you imagine the scene on the mat if Terrance and Sarah had not figured out they had to go on foot and they had been hit with the penalty? That would have been a "Jonathon-esque" mat finish!

One question on the "Penalty" - as I recalled from earlier seasons, when someone took a cab. etc. when they were supposed to go on foot, the penalty was just the time difference. I thought it sounded like an additional penalty time is awarded. Was I hearing that right?

I think its normally been the time difference plus a 30 minute penalty, well at least it was with Reichen & Chip in season 4 when i watched it a couple of weeks ago.

Sad to see the Geeks go.

I'm so sad about the geeks.. I was really rooting for them. :(

.

She did a car commercial recently and ran the Boston Marathon (I think it was the Boston Marathon).

Didn't T&S travel in the cab for some of the distance? Shouldn't they have had some sort of penalty. I was really hoping it would be the divorcees that went home do not like them one bit.

The difference is they noticed their mistake and went back to where they got the clue and traveled on foot.

And I was hoping the divorcees would go home too!

The penalty thing changes - it's usually the amount of time they would have saved by taking the shortcut or whatever, plus a penalty - but they don't say how much is penalty and how much is the time they saved - could have been 20 minutes for saving times and 10 minute penalty or something like that.

I am surprised I did not hear a single reference to Ken cheating on Tina...

Sorry to divert, but back to the "Sports Bra" accusation... hmmm...let's really think about it...if I clearly laid my bra out on a balcony or ledge or whatever...and it suddenly disappears...then CLEARLY then first person I see walking by after noticing it's missing is GUILTY! After all, they have no wind in that part of the world. Stupid B.
HATE the Divorcees. Hate. Them. Actually just the one...but the other by association.
Also: To all future Racers: Please...for the love of God...Read the damn clue. Really. Read. It.
