So I woke up this morning confused and scared. I had a dream that I was trying to have sex with Pamela Lee but Burt Bacharach kept interrupting us.
The scary part is I think Pamema Lee is skanky looking.

Hmmm- oddly enough, I had a really weird dream this morning as well right before I woke up. I dreamt that I was Tom Cruises assistant. He was a demanding jackass and I told him "I don't think I can work for you anymore". He replied "well, I don't think I want you to work for me anymore". (He had wanted me to wipe down like twenty thousand seats in a stadium he owned). Then I tried to pet his dogs and cats on the way out and he said "Don't touch the animals".
WEIRD!!!!

I was riding a killer whale (i know, i know) down Duval Street and the whale was telling me through telepathy that the man we were passing on the street is "actor Michael Biehn best known for his movie roles in Aliens and The Terminator". I woke up certain someone had drugged my drink the night before.
I realized I had fallen asleep with CNN headline news on. So some of the news that was looping throughout the night was about Mt Kilauea (killer whale) erupting and that actor Michael Biehn "best known for his roles.." was being stalked and extorted.

I have a recurring dream that I have made it to the final 4 on Survivor but then I know that I am going to be the next one voted out and there is nothing I can do about it. What does this say about my self-esteem - that it's pretty good but I don't picture myself as being worthy of the best? Or that I am not ambitious enough to do what it takes to be a champion?

For the weirdest dreams, I tend to win. Not only are they messed and wierd, but I remember my dreams(or part of em') almost everyday. One of my favorite dreams was about my mom. She came to me in my dream, we had tea, we chatted, she told me heaven is great and that she is happy. Then she lit up a smoke. I said to her "I thought you weren't allowed to smoke up there?" she said, with a big smile " Oh ya, You can smoke in heaven".

I had a dream about Ray Liotta (Smith) last night. We were trying to do some kind of illegal deal, and things went really wrong. There was all kind of pandemonium, and then Ray shot Robert De Niro. That's when I woke up. Maybe I'm watching too much violent TV?

I didn't say I enjoyed making out with him. And I think the dream had to do with falling asleep to football highlights.
I would think that the Bettis store would be filled with busses and bobbleheads and the nature.
My friend told me she had a dream and woke up in the middle of it and was able to will herself back into it. Does this happen? I mean I've had recurring dreams with the same basic plot but they never pick up exactly where the last one left off. I'm a little suspect of her claim.

I haven't heard of that happening, it seems hard to do, but you never know. When i was younger & would sleep over my friend's house, we would try to have the same dream by trying to 'meet up' in our dreams. We would designate a meeting place (train station on the way to school, etc), but it never worked. I tried it with my boyfr'nd recently, no dice there, either. For starters, I seldomly remember my dreams, unless it's from a short nap.
Last night I dreamed I was having lunch with Mohander from the show Hero's. Now I know I had just watched the show earlier, but Hiro is my favorite.
I woke up thinking, wtf just happened?
I have awakened from a really good dream (or really hot dream) and tried like hell to fall back into it and pick up where it left off. No such luck. I can't believe people can do that. Damn, there have been dreams I would have loved to get back into!!!

I am one of those people where I can go back to sleep and go back into the same dream. Not always, but if I remember the dream well enough and depending on how long I am awake for.
Sometimes though, you can't get rid of a dream and everytime you fall back asleep it's the same dream. It sucks when its not good.

I had a disturbing dream the other night that I think was influenced by watching some of the John Mark Karr interview on TV. It involved a child molester that was trying to blackmail my bf and I into not calling the cops on him and no one wanting to believe me as to how dangeroes/sick he was. Not a fun one b/c I woke up with tears of frustration in my eyes and then I couldn't go back to sleep.:mad:

With my tooth ache - I dreamt last night that someone was pulling my teeth out one by one - and I couldn't see who it was because they were shining something bright in my eyes. But I could hear this really creepy laugh. I blame it on watching Nip/Tuck before bed. Not sure who the laugher was - but Nip/Tuck does have a weird vibe like that.

Had a root canal today, so I'm sore everywhere they injected me. I gotta commend my Dentist though, I didn't feel any of the needles during the procedure. But, it took so long (3 hours) that the novocaine was starting to fade towards the end. :bored:

I was afraid of that. Good news is that you never have to worry about that tooth ever hurting again. Dead root = no pain.

glad it's behind you now, Tink, that must be a relief. I know what u mean abt the $$$ being the toughest part---even w/insurance, that stuff takes a big chunk of your savings, etc. I hafta go to the dentist nxt wk for part 2 of a preventative surgery on my gums---the procedure is quick, abt 20 mins, but the whole thing comes out to quite a bit of dough, even w/ the dentist' discount. Oh well, I needs my teeths!

I think that last night's dream was influenced by Veronica Mars. I had a very cute boyfriend (very Ben Affleck-looking) who was waiting in line to pay for something with me right behind him. Some lady was hitting on him and I got mad/jealous b/c he was eating it up and not mentioning his gf. So he took off in my car w/out waiting for me to get in and jumped a median with it and I was going to have to run after him and was getting all these pitiful looks from other drivers in the parking lot who didn't know whether to help me or not. He pulled the car over on the side of the road and left it running, then jumped out and ran into a wooded area. I was thinking I was gonna just go get the car and drive home and leave his ass, but I woke up. Weird- I know.:blink:

OK. So last night I had a GREAT dream. I dreamt that I was dating Lukas and that he and Tommy Lee were in a band - but NOT RockStar SuperNova. They were in a band with this band that I know.
Now I was sitting at a bar with Kevin and the rest of the guys from the band I know when Lukas walks up with a girl on his arm. I ask him who the hell this bitch is since he is my boyfriend. Lukas tells me that he decided to cheat on me since I cheated on him. I tell him that I didn't cheat on him, that I have been with the guys all along. Tommy then pipes up and says that I cheated on Lukas with him. Now I have no idea where Tommy came from because he wasn't there before. But there he was so I said to him what are you doing? You know I haven't been with you. Tommy then confesses and says that he made it up because he loves me and wants to break me and Lukas up. Lukas then tells Tommy that he can't have me because he loves me and Tommy isn't good enough for me. By this time the girl that was with Lukas has disappeared, I remember looking for her...don't know why. Now Tommy and Lukas fight over me, but not a fist fight, they are trying to prove who is the better man for me...I am happily watching this when the FUCKING alarm goes off. I hit snooze and tried to go back to the BEST DREAM EVER but no such luck. Stupid life. :(

I had a dream that I was all dressed up and went out to a party with Cami from LB. We met a Basketball player (one from like a college) just some guy in my head not a real one. Then he talked to me and Cami said that was random. Then we got in the car and went home. Cami told Kyndra about the guy, next thing I know it's Sue's boyfriend and everyone is mad at me.
That dream was so random.
My most vivid dream last night was of putting green beans in casserole and I was worried because my daughter doesn't like them. Man, am I boring.

I had a creepy dream one night right after we found out my husband was being transferred to Houston after living in Dallas for 5 years. I dreamed about running into one of his old fraternity brothers who we haven't seen in 10+ years. He just kind of popped up in the dream randomly. The next day I was thinking about it and googled him. Lo and behold, he lives in Houston!! Haven't hardly thought of him since my husband graduated, and ends up we are living in the same city after having a dream with him in it. That just made me feel weird for a few days...oh, and it wasn't a sex dream, either. That would have been wrong is so many ways...

I figured, my husband's friend, he can be in charge of contacting him...a year later, still hasn't called him. And really, what would we say if he asked how we knew to look for him?? I'm not sure how to bring that up in the conversation...my wife's a freak (although he probably has had that conversation before!)...

I had a dream the other night in which I thought a bird flew into our bedroom and then dive-bombed my head. I sprang out of bed yelling, "Holy shit! Holy shit! There's a god damned bird in here." I stood there for a second and started rumaging through the sheets looking for the little bastard until I realized it was only a dream. Hesitantly I got back in bed and grumbled a bit about thinking it could've been reality and then I heard my wife trying to stiffle some giggles. I completely lost it and started bursting out in laughter. Wierd stuff.

I just had te weirdiest dream on Thursday night.
This is what I remember about it without a lot of detail.
First of I was on an Island hanging out and I was on this island with a bunch of food stores and things to do but I was lost and there was others around and I kind of doing things like they do on survivor. So I am hanging out with my Hubby, Sister-in-law and a bunch of other lostie/survivors. (this is all the background info I remember I have no idea what we were doing)
(this part is mainly the Lost part) Next I was in a jail cell trying to get out and away from the others. My Hubby and sister-in-law saved me and we killed Ben and Tom. (more things happen but I couldn't remember them)
(Now to the suvivor part) I was put on exile island, but it was different then the survivor exile island I was put on it with all the losties and the others stayed on the other island. Well anyway there were these weird Sea Snake/Rattlesnake type snakes on the island and they were attacking us. So in the end I woke my husband and myself up when I jumped in the bed and screamed as the sea snake/ rattle snake creature bit me.
I just had to tell this dream. This is how I remembered it when I woke up on Friday, but I didn't have time to post it yesterday.

Interesting that you should bring this thread back, since I had a really strange dream last night as well. It would take like an hour to explain it, but it was the first dream I've ever had where I woke up in the middle of it and when I went back to sleep, the dream was still going on.
The short of it is, I got on a show that was a mixture of the Real World and the Surreal Life, with half of the house as celebrities (we had Donald Driver of the Packers, Ellen Degeneres, and David Spade), and the other half normal people. We did the whole meet-in-groups-of-two-or-threes, and I went to the house with Ellen, who gave a homeless woman a bag of clothes, but then we saw as we were walking away the homeless woman just threw the bag in a dumpster once our backs were turned.
Anyway, Donald Driver brought his collection of solid gold animal figurines, which meant we no longer had room for cups, so we were all severely dehydrated by the end. But we reached the end, and I was returning to Wisconsin via train through New York, and some normal blonde guy from my house was also taking that train to New York.
But on the train, he was talking to these two guys - one looked like the creepiest Cylon from Battlestar Galactica, the other just had a really big beard. They then took out these three keys, and right before we arrived in New York, they put the keys in this lock, turned them at the same time, and the explosives they had planted at New York leveled like 8 square city blocks. So we arrive in the station, everything's destroyed, for some reason I'm trapped in an elevator, but some nice guy helps me out.
I get into the parking lot, and I see the three guys who did it, so I start yelling to people, but I've lost my voice. So I chase them down, there's this really exciting chase scene with us for no reason driving cars around a parking lot and smashing into things, and I kill the blonde guy and the Cylon. I then run and corner the bearded guy, but he points out that he's strapped with explosives and if I shoot one, he'll explode and make everything "feel like it's sixty degrees outside". Which, in retrospect, would have been a great thing. But I took his threat seriously and patted him down to try to find an open spot where I could shoot him. Even though I had this guy cornered and could have had him arrested, apparently I was going to shoot him point-blank.
And this is where it starts to get really weird. I strike up a friendship with the bearded guy, and it becomes a kind of ongoing joke that I have to kill him. He starts running, and my policewoman partner (apparently I'm a cop now) chases him down, finds him in a cheese shop, and throws a knife directly at his forehead. We think he's dead, but as she walks by him, he grabs her ankle. Apparently the thin layer of cheese he applied to his forehead before we came in was enough to stop the knife.
So I take him back to my house, and have dinners with him and just hang out with him, all the while trying to figure out how to kill him. I make a bunch of attempts, but none of them work. Finally, one night we're having dinner, and I have another cop friend come up behind him and hold a gun to his temple. I say, "Do it," the bearded man also says, "Do it," and he is finally killed.
Even after that it didn't end. We had a whole celebration for his death and all kinds of crazy stuff went on with my ex-girlfriend. But we won't get into that.

T-bag that's funny how we both had a dream that involved two shows mixed together. I wish I remembered my dream as much as you did, my dream was alittle foggy when I woke up. I usually remember my dreams in way more detail.

It's a sign that this truly is the right place for us. We are all clearly insane when it comes to TV- and I mean that in a really good way. :blink: :rolleyes2:

Amen, Patti. And if any TV execs are reading, I think a mixture of the Real World and the Surreal Life would be a brilliant idea. And I'd say that even if it wasn't me that had dreamed it up.

I think that would be a great show toooooo. Maybe you should write MTV or VH1 about it.
