TVgasm is starting a league for people who want to sign up. You need to be a member of espn.com (it's free and this game is free). A pick 'em league is a league where you pick the winners of each week's NFL games. The person with the most points at the end wins. This thread is for you to discuss your picks or questions about the game.

The winner of the league will win something from the TVgasm store. Depending on how many people sign up, we may have more than one winner.

To change the name of your entry, go to the pigskin pick 'em front page:

It will ask you to sign in. Once you sign in, you should see your team name, followed by the leagues that you are in.
For me I see:

Click on your team name and you should see a link called "Edit Entry Settings" on the left. Click on that link, and it will let you change the settings for your entry, including team name, and whether you want an e-mail reminder.

Okay, honestly, I have no feeling either way about the game tomorrow; I just don't want it to be a one sided blowout to start the season. Know what I'm saying?
I'd be sweating bullets if my starting quarterback was Chaz Batch. Then again, my starting quarterback is Alex Smith, so...

Born into a Bolt's Family...but became a fan during the Air Coryell days.
Best game I ever saw was "The Epic in Miami" Jan, 2, 1982.
Steve Foley is an ass who blew it and has no one to blame but himself.

Love it! Had to carry Winslow off the field. Hottest temps ever played in a playoff game. Followed up the next week by playing in some of the coldest weather in playoff history. I really wanted a Niners vs. Chargers super bowl that year. Fouts, Jefferson, Muncie... that was an awesome team.

I only got to see the second half, but it looked like Culpepper did a fine job handing the win to the Steelers. You can't make mistakes like he did against a defense like that.

Exactly! Of course, one of these years, the predications of the Cardinals rising from the dead may actually come true. I'm guessing not in Bill Bidwell's lifetime, though.

That stadium is sweet - now they just need to find a defense to put in it. I'mnot sure if Alex Smith's day was a result of his improvement or the Cardinals' horrible D - probably a combination of the two.
Dammit! I forgot to put my picks in this week, and automatically selected all of the away teams. Hence, an ass-kicking.
