Upper Class Twit of the Year is my favorite Monty Python sketch. The best is when one twit runs himself over with his car.


I would assume that like most ridiculously talented athletes, Becks wasn't exactly challenged

David Beckham decided to move to America to play soccer so he could get the best epilepsy treatment for his son Romeo.

David - who last week agreed a staggering £128-million deal with the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer club - has apparently been planning to move to the US for months because the world's leading experts in the illness are based in Los Angeles.

The 31-year-old sports star and his former Spice Girl wife Victoria, 32, reportedly told friends they would move "to the ends of the earth" to get the best care for the four-year-old.

A source said: "The main reason for the move is Romeo. They are desperate to find a way to control his epilepsy and have been doing their research. The best place to get the medical attention he needs is Los Angeles - they even carry out high-tech, experimental surgery to try and control the condition."

Meanwhile, celebrities are flocking to get their hands on soccer tickets to see the former England captain play. Rod Stewart, Steven Spielberg and Jennifer Lopez are among the stars snapping up season tickets to watch the Los Angeles Galaxy next season.

NASSAU, Bahamas - A formal inquiry into the death of Anna Nicole Smith’s 20-year-old son has been scheduled for March 27 in the Bahamas, the chief magistrate said Tuesday.

The reality TV star, who gave birth to a daughter three days before Daniel Smith mysteriously died at her hospital bedside on Sept. 10, will be among the witnesses required to testify before the jury inquest, Chief Magistrate Roger Gomez said.

“It’s to try and answer all the unanswered questions that have been raised in this matter,” he told reporters.

The inquest at the coroner’s court will be open to the media, he said.

A private pathologist concluded that Daniel Smith died from a lethal combination of methadone and two antidepressants. Gomez didn’t disclose the conclusions of the official pathologist or a police investigation.

Smith, 39, has said she was seeking privacy when she came to the island chain in July.

Aniston will play Tina Harrod, a rival of her former Friends castmate's character, Lucy Spiller, on the season finale of the show in March.

According to Michael Ausiello of TVGuide.com, "Aniston's character is a lesbian. What's more, she won't just mouth off to Cox's tightly wound counterpart; she's going to share a lip lock with her." Well, that's a ratings winner.

Goldie Hawn was caught in the Bahamas knocking some of Kurt Russell's balls around the court. The two have been vacationing in the islands, avoiding the cold snap in Los Angeles.

It's good that grandma Goldie still gets her exercise, but her "Flashdance" athletic apparel is questionable.

That's right, it appears Beckham-mania is about to reach a whole new level. As part of the "commercial opportunities" used to pay out David Beckham part of the estimated $250 million he will earn during his five year stint with the Los Angeles Galaxy, the Beckhams look set to make their foray into the great American past-time: reality television.

The Sun and People report Fox has offered David and Victoria Beckham their own cinéma vérité style television show once the couple touches down for good in California.

“At the moment neither David nor Victoria are majorly famous in the States, but starring in their own show on one of America’s biggest channels would catapult them to instant stardom,” a source told People.

Fox already houses the most popular American reality television show: American Idol. That show is produced by Simon Fuller, who also manages the David Beckham commercial circus. Fox, meantime, also has a MLS link: Fox Soccer Channel is under a $20 million contract to televise MLS and U.S. Soccer games.

The reality show would follow the Beckhams around as they begin the American chapter of their life together.

One place the show won't be filming, though, is the Playboy mansion. Hugh Hefner had added the couple to his infamous guest list and offered to throw a party, but a friend of Victoria Beckham said, "She has made it clear to David that they won't be taking Hef up on his offer.

"She has nothing against (Hefner) personally. But she says she wouldn't feel comfortable about sitting there with her husband while half-naked girls parade around them."

Former supermodel Tyra Banks is set to disrobe again on her hit talk show in a bid to quell reports she's getting fat. Tabloids poked fun at the retired catwalk stunner after unflattering holiday photographs taken of Banks in Sydney, Australia, last month appeared in style magazines.

The former Victoria's Secret model, who stripped to her underwear for a "reveal" show last year, now plans to wear the same striped bathing suit she wears in the holiday snapshots on her show next week - to prove that sometimes the camera does lie.

Banks admits she was horrified when tabloids started suggesting she was fat, insisting she has put on 30 pounds since her modeling career began and now weighs a healthy 161 pounds.

The former England football captain dressed up as Prince Philip from Sleeping Beauty and was photographed slaying a fire-breathing dragon!

He joined singer Beyonce Knowles and actress Scarlett Johansson in photos to promote Walt Disney's theme parks.

Beyonce's played Alice in Wonderland in a giant tea-cup while Scarlett was photographed as Cinderella.

The photos were taken by famous celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz. She said about Beckham. She described Beckham as "a determined actor."

The photos will be seen in US magazines in March.

Bruce Willis Settles Extortion Lawsuit

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Bruce Willis has settled a lawsuit filed against his childhood friend over allegations the man tried to extort at least $100,000 from the actor, Willis' publicist said.

The lawsuit filed in August accused Bruce DiMattia, who was hired to maintain Willis' personal items and memorabilia, of extortion and violation of privacy.

The lawsuit claimed DiMattia "was overcome by greed and jealous of his former friend's success" and threatened to disclose personal information about the star unless Willis bought him a car and paid him $100,000.

Willis' publicist Paul Bloch issued a statement Tuesday that said Willis and DiMattia had reached a settlement and that their dispute was "amicably resolved."

"The filing of the lawsuit by Bruce Willis against Bruce DiMattia was based on a regrettable misunderstanding and was based on misinformation," the statement said. "Bruce Willis wishes Bruce DiMattia the best of luck in the future and Bruce DiMattia wishes him the same."

The name of DiMattia's attorney was not immediately known, and there was no telephone listing for DiMattia in the Los Angeles area.

Michael Jackson's children are usually hiding behind masks ... but not yesterday.

MJ's three kiddos; Prince Michael I, Paris and Prince Michael II (aka Blanket), were seen without their usual disguises at Circus Circus hotel in Las Vegas yesterday. Perhaps the amusement rides there remind them of Neverland. Or being dangled off a balcony.

The King of Pop was not seen in the kids' company, but son Prince's facial expression betrays a slight family resemblance. Jackson took up residence in Sin City last month amid rumors of a deal for regular appearances at a hotel there.

If I have learned ANYTHING from Maury it is that skin colour and facial features DO NOT indicate parentage. I remember the very dark skinned black guy with a very darker skinned wife who had a white baby. The whole time I was all, oh come on lady there is no way in hell that that is his baby. Dina Lohan is at it again! I’m minding my own business, watching Entertainment Tonight when Dina Lohan comes on the screen totally ruining my night. She has invited the cameras in with her while she travels from New York to Los Angeles to visit Lindsay in rehab. Yup. Australian singer Kylie Minogue and Paris-born actor Olivier Martinez have broken up after four years together, according to a statement released Friday.

"Olivier Martinez and Kylie Minogue have officially confirmed that they are no longer a couple," says the statement issued by reps for the couple. "They have made it clear that the decision to go their separate ways was mutual and amicable. The two remain very close friends."

What I don't understand is how Anna went along w/ telling the world that Howard is the father and listing him as such on her baby's birth certificate? Kathy Griffin's dad passed away this evening. Him and her mom were so cute together on her "D-List" show. She always had to have wine for them.
I found this out while reading Rosie's blog. Kathy was suppose to perform on their 4th Family Cruise and had just arrived in Miami to join the cruise when she found out. She immediately returned home.

I like to party and I KNOW that if I was rich, a personal driver would be my first luxury item. I hate driving (especially at night).

I can't belive that no one has talked about the Tim Hardaway gay-bashing statement. He screwed up big time. He can't apologize enough and no one even belives his apologies now anyway. Stupid.

I saw an awesome video from Joe Rogan too where he busts Carlos Mencia LIVE AND ON STAGE at the Comedy Store for being a hack comic. All comics hate those that steal jokes, and to see Carlos squirm was was great. Apparently joe rogan ended up being dropped by his agent and uninvited form performing at the Club now, but at least he proved his point and made himself a hero to hard-working comics everywhere!
