Why do so many celebrities try to be Marilyn Monroe. There is and always will be only one..... no one else can compare.....

Here's Lindsey Lohan's try......

http://nymag.com/fashion/08/spring/lindsay-as-marilyn/

NSFW.... she shows her boobies ....
She is yucky and to play Marilyn don't you need an ass.. at least Hips for God's sake. And she has so many freckles her nakkid body reminds me of Danny Bonadouchie... and that is not a turn on for me by any stretch.

ICK! - She looks very un-toned, like she needed to spend some time at the gym before doing those and that thing on her head is awful.

She and Brittany need to go away together for awhile and not let us know where they are. And couuld they take Paris with them too?

Dancing with the Stars sex scandal! Funny shit! Star Magazine claims Drew Lachey has been cheating on his wife with his former dance partner and mop head, Cheryl Burke. A source claims Cheryl and Drew were fucking during the show's National tour which ended last month.

The source said, "They didn't go very far to cover it up, Cheryl was constantly draped all over Drew. They held hands, had their legs intertwined and were always touching inappropriately."

The affair was brought out into the open when Cheryl's then-boyfriend, Matthew Lawrence, caught them having oral sex in her dressing room in Jacksonville, FL. The next day Drew threatened Matthew and his brother Joey "Woah" Lawrence. He screamed at them, "If you talk about this, I'll bury you Matt. I'll bury you Joey. I'm serious I will hurt you." Drew wants to keep the affair quiet to save his marriage. He also has a 2-year-old daughter.

Matthew told Star, "There are too many things going on. I can't talk about it." Lawyers for Cheryl and Drew deny the affair.

According to People Magazine Online:

Former Dancing with the Stars partners Drew Lachey and Cheryl Burke are denying tabloid reports that the pair were doing more than just dancing.

A report claiming the pair had an affair are "completely false and cannot be further from the truth," a rep for Lachey tells PEOPLE. A rep for Burke adds, "The story that Cheryl is involved with Drew Lachey started two years ago when they were partners on Dancing with the Stars. It wasn't true then and it isn't true now."

A source close to the show also called the report "untrue and irresponsible."

^Me too, Lonna. Further proof of his excellent acting skills, I suppose.

This is a very, very strange and sad story. Apparently someone was murdered at Lil Kim's birthday party...

A nightclub worker has confessed to the brutal murder of a 24-year-old woman during Lil’ Kim’s birthday party last weekend.

Rahman Syed, also 24, worked as a bartender’s assistant at Spotlight Live nightclub in Times Square. He confessed to killing Ingrid Rivera on Sunday night and stuffing her body in a utility shed on the roof of the nightclub.

Rivera’s body was found by a maintenance worker on Wednesday - 2 days after she had been reported missing by her mother.

I read Slate.com almost daily and they have been talking about the Edwards story for about 6 months or so. Apparently out of respect for his dying wife, the Main Stream Media outlets have not been talking about the affair or the child, however it has been reported in rags like the Enquirer.

He was apparently caught leaving a hotel where she was registered at 2:30 in the morning. A hotel where there was a media conference going on. Talk about stupid.

I feel sorry for his wife. That poor woman has been through so much, losing a son, fighting and beating cancer once only to have it come back - now she has a arsehat for a husband. Course she probably already knew about the last part.

Bernie Mac died. I loved him. He was so funny and sweet I thought. Now I am sad as hell. He was only 50 years old.

CHICAGO -- A publicist said Emmy- and Golden Globe-nominated actor and comedian Bernie Mac (http://www.cbs46.com/entertainment/17142436/detail.html?treets=lnta&tml=lnta_natlbreak&ts=T&tmi=lnta_natlbreak_1_08320208092008#) has died at the age of 50.

Publicist Danica Smith said Mac died early Saturday at a hospital in the Chicago area of complications due to pneumonia.

The comedian suffered from sarcoidosis, an inflammatory lung disease that produces tiny lumps of cells in the body's organs, but he had said the condition went into remission in 2005. He recently had been hospitalized and treated for pneumonia.

Mac had starring roles in "Ocean's Eleven," "Bad Santa," "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" and "Transformers."

Isaac Hayes, the pioneering singer, songwriter and musician whose relentless "Theme From Shaft" won Academy and Grammy awards, died Sunday, the Shelby County Sheriff's Office said. He was 65.

A family member found Hayes unresponsive near a treadmill and he was pronounced dead about an hour later at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, according to the sheriff's office. The cause of death was not immediately known.

Bernie Mac held a special place here.
Last year GirlChild had to write a report from an autobiography and choose him. He wrote a very good book about his growing up and breaking into the business.
She checked it out of the library along with a CD set of him reading his own story. I was nice to hear him tell his story with his own voice like that. It still sticks in my mind his diction and rythem and pattern of speech.

I also thought back then, so young to write your life story... what about the second half?

People can be sex addicts without being pedophiles, I hope no one assumes David D. is a pedophile. There was no mention of any kind of criminal charges in the article, and I'm sure they would have put that in there. It would have made for a more scandalous story.

Don't know if there are any truth to these rumors, but I've been reading Sarah Palin (McCain's VP) announced her pregnancy in March to cover up for her 16 yr old daughter, who was knocked up. Somehow it doesn't seem possible that this would slip under the radar when vetting the VP candidates, so I'm skeptical.

Here is where she announced the pregnancy in March (http://www.adn.com/front/story/336402.html)

I read today that Duchovney is addicted to internet porn and that the only reason he came out about his therapy is because someone he is in therapy with sold him out to the tabloids.

As for Palin's daughter - do we really care about her pregnancy? Does it really reflect on her mother's ability to be the VP of the USA? Does anyone else feel really bad for her that what is a very tough time in her life has suddenly made national headlines? How stupid do these gossipmongers really believe the American public is anyway? To think that in this day and age, a teenaged daughter's pregnancy could be passed off as her mother's is ridiculous. Sure a pregnancy can be faked - but once you arrive at the hospital to deliver, how are you gonna possibly contain all the docs, nurses, housekeepers, candy stripers, etc. who routinely walk through a hospital room, not to mention all the people in accounting. Unless it was a home birth, there would really be no way to conceal which woman gave birth with any certainty that the truth would not come out. Why would you bother anyway?

I really don't care about her daughter's pregnancy, or the rumors about her son Trig. I don't agree with their stand on the issues, so I won't be voting for the McCain/Palin ticket. She's seems like a nice person, and I wish her and her family all the best.

On a completely seperate issue, she is going to be one tired lady. She's still governor of Alaska, she'll be campaining around the clock for the next 2 months, and she has five kids and one grand-baby on the way that will be needing her. I'm tired just thinking about it. lol.

I don't care that Palin's daughter is pregnant. I care that Palin believes in abstinence-only education while her own child is a living example that it doesn't work, and that having that experience has not opened her mind about the issue. That, to me, demonstrates a refusal to learn from experience, and that concerns me.

I'm totally playing devil's advocate here, so don't take this personal Pek. I just think that no matter what type of sex education is taught in school, teenagers are going to get pregnant. In my school, we had sex education AND free condoms and I still had many friends with babies before high school graduation.

With that being said, abstinence only programs are ignoring the fact that kids are going to have sex whether you talk to them about it or not. And something that really confuses me... how do they get around sex education when talking about reproduction? You go over reproduction in biology class whether you're an abstinence school or not, right?

lestermaddox

That, to me, demonstrates a refusal to learn from experience, and that concerns me.

I am not agreeing or disagreeing with your comments Pek - just pointing out that her daughter is only 5 months along, and her parents probably have not known about the baby for all of that time. So it is possible that her beliefs about abstinence-only education will change, now that she has visible proof that it may not be the best system of education.

As for BC's comments about sex education - I attended Catholic schools from 1st grade through my first year of college. I took biology, I took health, I took marriage classes, never once was sex brought up in any of those classes - nor was the use of birth control, though a very small reference was made to Natural Family Planning in the marriage class. Any sort of reproduction talked about in biology had to do with animals only, health class was segregated by sex and things like your menstral cycle were discussed, but no mention of male parts.

As the parent of 2 teens and 2 in their 20's, I can only say that open, honest talk with your children about your beliefs and their health, and the consequences of sex (and for me - a whole lot of praying!) have worked for me and my children to date.

I am not saying that one type of education works better or is more effective than any other. I am sure that no one method of sex education is perfect, and I do also believe that we sometimes lean too far in the other direction of making birth control available too. Seems there should be some middle ground that is more effective - we just need to find it.

Here in Arizona all sex education has been stopped in schools... by our Govenor. The Honorable Janet (Frankenstien) Reno 911, Govenor of Arizona, had to make this choice. Teach abstinence-only programs to your students or lose Fedreal Funding in your schools. So to cirrcumvent this they teach nothing about reproductive haha's in schools in our state.
Na-Da.. Unless you count the education that tells preggo mommies to cross the boarder to have your baby and then you can stay in America forever and not learn about sex in our tax paper funded schools.

So before we lay the abstinence-only education on the door step of Alaska and Palin we should consider.. was it the only thing the could teach so they did...... as opposed to teaching nothing.. and what is your state doing about this law that only allows abstinence-only education or no education to recieve federal funding (school lunch, title 1, etc.....)
{{could you imagine if she had stopped all sex education like we did..... the headlines!!!!!}}

So if you don't want your kid to even freaking know about sex come to Arizona because I have a 21 y/o male, a 17 y/o male and a 15 y/o female and they have never ever heard of sex. They don't even know sex exists.
Won't they be surprised....
Oh, but wait..
the 21y/o is at ASU so I hope he learned something there.. or in Spain where he spent the summer in 07. ..
But the little ones.. they don't know what sex is at all.
I love Arizona.

See, the way I see it (and obviously it's not the popular opinion) is that sex education "should" be taught in the home. I think schools should give the biology of the reproductive system & inform that no sex = no babies & no sexually transmitted diseases. It should be a parents right to teach their family's morality and values. As a parent I feel like my rights are being eroded away & it scares me. I totally get the argument that some parents don't & won't teach it therefore it should be taught, but this undermines all the parents that do!

les- I just want to point out that it was essentially a home birth. Supposedly Palin's water broke in Texas and she flew back home to Alaska to her hometown to give birth at home with her local doctor. She would have been 8 months pregnant and flying (a no-no) and she would have been in labor at least 12 hours before arriving at home to deliver. The whole thing is fishy, fishy, fishy IMO.

Well, according to Reality Blurred, the Claymates are PISSED.

Fan reaction to this news from the Claymates seems to be a mix of sadness, undying devotion and support, and anger that he lied to fans for years. Here’s a selection of responses from the The Clayboard’s discussion, which is a must-read:

strollynn63: “This is a gut wrenching day for The ClayNation. Somebody wake me up, I hope its a dream.”

Holmes24: “please tell me I’m not the only one who is shocked beyond belief! I feel numb I’m so upset. This can’t be real!! How can you guys say this won’t change anything? This changes EVERYTHING. I don’t even know what to think right now.”

returnofaiken: “Nothing has changed. Nothing at all. He’s still the Clay Aiken we drooled over on American Idol. He’s still the same Clay Aiken that melted out hearts in all of his Christmas tours. He’s Clay. And nothing will ever change that.”

plumclayzy: “This will be it for me. I cannot continue to support him financially now that I know he has chosen this lifestyle. My mind boggles when I think about how ‘lied to’ I feel. It doesn’t look like my expressed opinion will be a popular one, but that’s OK.”

clayncfan: “I’ve cried a river of tears and truthfully do not know where I stand right now. I am envious of those who can take this news and continue to state their unconditional love and support for Clay. Right now all I can think of is that he is a fantastic entertainer but I took him at his word and it appears that his word isn’t what I thought it was.”

SidiDenak: “The shock is not about him being GAY, it’s about him not owning up to it when he was being made fun of. He knew that his fans were defending his honor and yet he didn’t say a word to us, he kept us in the dark. If he loved us so much for our support all these years then WHY DID WE HAVE TO FIND THIS OUT FROM A NEWS ARTICLE, MAG, etc.?”

What is William Shatner's problem? First, I hear he is mad that he is not in next summer's Star Trek movie. He claims he wasn't asked, but the producers say he was asked and turned down a cameo. Now, he's ranting all over the place about it. Today, he is mad at George Takei for not inviting him to his wedding, though George says he was invited and chose not to come. I had such a crush on Captain Kirk when I was a little girl but Shatner must be such an ass. He is really getting on my nerves. And I can't stand Boston Legal. He and James Spader (who used to be hot) are so bloated and gross. They are mean, nasty, morally bankrupt and yucky yet they seem to have women throwing themselves at them all the time on that show. It's disgusting. HATE. Sorry, didn't know this was going to turn into a rant!

I'm bummed about it also. It's talk show overload. The networks seem to keep skating by with less and less scripted shows. Hmmmm, wonder why their ratings are tanking. I wonder what impact it will have on some of NBC's hour-long dramas. Of course, they don't have that many anymore because of ratings and also hour-long dramas are by far the most expensive programming. This way, they have only ten hours a week to program (weekdays, and on Sunday they have football and Saturday they usually show reruns); pretty much no matter what they pay Leno, they'll come out ahead financially.

I, too, would rather watch a drama or comedy program. It's funny that they are doing this despite Rosie O'Donnell's variety show tanking. Late night talk shows are kind of like variety shows except that they spend more time talking. They always seem so scripted on Leno anyway.

I have to say I'm very disheartened by the stories I've been reading. "John Travolta is heartbroken" - well, yes, I would hope so! His kid just died! Why do media outlets feel like we need to be told that a man who has lost his child is upset about it? And why do most of the stories focus on John? Last I checked, Jett had a mother too. But I guess she's not as famous so her heartbreak isn't as headline-making. The whole thing irritates me.

chooch850

I saw a report today saying that Jett was not unsupervised that they had 2 nannies on duty and I wondered why it was necessary to have a nanny for a 16 year old boy. Or even why we needed this information. There was also a huge story on Scientology and Jett's illness. I couldn't figure out what it was all about - though I will admit to not reading more than the headline. I am with Pek - leave the poor family alone. It would be hard enough to so suddenly and tragically lose a child, but to have to do it in such a public way would be unbearble.

"Russell Brand is hot, doable, smart, funny, charming," says Kathy Griffin, sparing some of her love of the gays for the effeminate bedroom romper. "I've never met him. I'm counting on him doing inappropriate things tonight, though!"

And what about Boyle? Kath had her own bikini makeover recently—should Susan follow suit? "I do not want the makeover. I want her to be whatever she wants to be. Susan Boyle is underrated. I think there's more to come."

Debbie Rowe, mother of Prince, 12, and Paris, 11, told The News of The World she was artificially inseminated by an anonymous donor and that she does not want custody - leaving the two grieving children without a family, days after Jackson’s death at 50.

A) Well, duh, bitch. Anyone who's seen the kids knew they weren't his.

This (http://www.thelondonpaper.com/thelondonpaper/celebrity/celeb-news/sacha-baron-cohen-steps-up-security-after-bruno-terrorist-threat)is both horrible and hilarious:
Sacha Baron Cohen steps up security after Bruno 'terrorist' threat

The al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades said that it was “very upset” that it featured in the film, starring Baron Cohen’s gay Austrian alter ego.

“We reserve the right to respond in the way we find suitable against this man,” it said in a statement.

“The movie was part of a conspiracy against the al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades.”

The offending scene involves the London-born comic mocking Ayman Abu Aita, who was identified as the group’s leader but now claims to have severed all links to it.

...Bruno tells Abu Aita: “I want to be famous. I want the best guys in the business to kidnap me. Al-Qaeda is so 2001.”

...Abu Aita claims he was told the film was a documentary to help “mobilise the young people to help us [Palestinians]”. His lawyer, Hatem Abu Ahmad, said: “This joke is very dangerous. We are not in the United States, we are not in Europe. We are in the Middle East and the world operates differently here.”

I think his brand of humor is pretty stupid, but I don't think he's racist at all. I think he creates these hyper-stereotypical characters in order to ambush prejudiced people and get a laugh at their expense, and to show just how stupid prejudice really is. Also, laughing at bonafide terrorists is always fun.

Just my opinion.

I don't know if this qualifies as "celebrity," since the "star" of the show is C-list at best, and this guy is just a contestant on her show.... but if anyone is watching "Megan Wants a Millionaire" one of the contestants is wanted for questioning in a murder. A MURDER!

Meanwhile, a contestant on VH1’s Megan Wants a Millionaire, Ryan Alexander Jenkins, “is a ‘person of interest’ in the case of a 28-year-old woman and swimsuit model who was found dead in a Dumpster in Buena Park,” the L.A. Times reports.

Jasmine Fiore was strangled and her body “was found stuffed in a suitcase and thrown in an Orange County trash bin,” according to The AP. Jenkins “is believed to be driving Fiore’s white 2007 Mercedes CL S550 with black rims and tinted windows,” the Times reported.

Ugh. I used to be a big Kanye fan because he's from Chicago, and whenever I was traveling I could listen to several of his songs and be right back home. I found his antics pretty funny, because he takes himself so damn seriously that it's a joke. Now... his shtick is getting really old. I thought what he did to that poor girl was downright rude.

Shane Sparks, a judge on the MTV show America's Best Dance Crew and choreographer from So You Think Can Dance, was arrested this morning and charged with 9 counts of child molestation.

Shane allegedly committed "lewd acts upon a child" back in 1994. According to the criminal complaint, which lists the 9 alleged incidents, Shane had a relationship with the child that included acts of oral copulation and other acts "with the intent of arousing, appealing to, and gratifying the lust, passions, and sexual desires of the defendant, who was at least 10 years older than [the victim]."

Okay - call me old fashioned but separated = married. Divorced = not married. And please - is there a person on the planet who doesn't know that Sandra Bullock and Jessie James are not only married, but have been in a custody fight for his daughter for the past year?

I know this is up for debate and depends on your upbringing, but as far as I am concerned adultery is adultery whether you are the married party or not.
