That was a great episode. I am so happy for CG. Live feeds will be AWESOME the next few days...Dani & Erika are already planning on making a truce with Janelle tonight. Even though she doesn't have power this week, they know they are screwed if the nominations stay the way they are. Dani is convinced she's getting back doored.

Will just dropped & broke an entire jar of pickles on the floor. Dani & Erika bitching about Janey 'winning Eeeeeverything'. UGH. It's totally deja-vous from last year. Except this time, there are no sobbing dumbasses.

I'm curious to see if Boogie will use the Coup this week, or will he save it for the 3rd week in case he's nominated. This episode has brought me out of my BB funk.

James has somehow managed to blame Howie and Janelle for George's nominations.

Erika believes George will nominate Danielle if one of the current noms wins Veto. Legion of Doom already discussing tactics for how to get George to nominate Janelle if Veto is used. (They keep saying "backdoor" which has lost all its original meaning this season. It's not a backdoor nomination if you didn't plan it as backdooring before you made your original nominations. It's just the required replacement nomination!).

I'm curious to see if Boogie will use the Coup this week, or will he save it for the 3rd week in case he's nominated. This episode has brought me out of my BB funk.

Me too! He will use it to save either himself or Will, but at this rate, I don't see him or Will being original nominations (replacements, maybe), at least not for the next two evictions. They have enough alliances going on with everyone else in the house, and Will is smooth enough to talk anyone into anything eventually.

I agree that it was so SWEET to see CG as the HOH and not nominate Janey but instead choose James and Erika. Boogie would be stupid to use his coup to save anyone else but him or WILL. Awesome episode-go Janey! I voted for her as the prom Queen b/c it was before they redid the HOH comp and I thought she'd need help in the next one. Turns out I was not alone. Dani just bit it in the end with the number guess. My guess was closer than either of thiers and I didn't even live through it in the house.

This makes me so happy!!! James put CG on the block, Erika eliminated CG from competitions and (lets say it all together) "threw CG under the bus." They got what was coming to them, plain and simple. No sneaky alliance double cross super plan stuff, just "you were mean to me, screw you!" reaction. I LOVE IT.

Of course James would find a way to blame Janie for this. I love that as he complains nonstop about America's Choice he never questions Marcellas getting Most Winey over him.

Julie was actually surprisingly clear in her HOH final question, Danielle obviously just got flustered. It reminds me of the time I saw a woman bid 100,000 dollars on a Saturn during the Price is Right. 308???

ewww- Georges room is fugly. I am watching the feeds tonight because I figured they would be all loaded (I saw them hittin' the pink cocktails before they went off the air tonight). Unfortunately, they all seem relatively sober and are now doing the POV comp. I am pretty sure they will vote someone out Sunday and George will put two more people up. I think the HOH for a double eviction is only HOH until one of their nominees is evicted. Janelle won HOH during a double eviction week last year, and she was only HOH for that short time.

If it's the same as last year, then yes. I think double eviction just means the number of evictions in the week, not the number of times one HOH gets to evict someone. There should be a new HOH Sunday night with another eviction next Thursday.

Haha. I'm not sure what the big deal is. I don't see how it could be any kind of advantage for the HOH who is only HOH for three days. They have to make their nominations on the spot, so I suppose they could claim they were flustered and didn't know who to nominate if people were mad about the noms. But that would be BS because obsessing about who they will nominate when they win HOH is all they do.

Last year's "live feeds" schedule for a double-eviction week was something like this:

Thurs night: Veto players chosen, POV competition
Fri: POV ceremony; eviction; HOH competition
Sat: Veto players chosen
Sun: POV competition
Mon: POV ceremony

But, that was with a Saturday night show, instead of a Sunday night show. So, maybe the POV competition and ceremony will be on Friday, with the eviction occuring on Saturday?

Also, I seem to remember that, while things DO happen fast-and-furious during these double-eviction weeks, the live feeds get shut down a LOT. I think in the past two years, the live feeds were shut down before the first eviction and didn't come back up until the weekend epidode played on TV.

Based on past seasons of live feeds, the feeds will be up until the vote (tomorrow night?), at which point there will be flames. They always have an super-brief "oops" leak of the feeds afterwards where live feed watchers count up the people and figure out who is missing (=evicted). Then you have to wait until the Sunday show before they come back up. So, not THREE days, but maybe TWO with flames.

I never watched the feeds before last year and the now infamous endurance challenge. The week following that challenge made it worth the money!

I haven't watched them at all this year before tonight. I usually just read the updates too but I knew George winning would cause an uproar because no one has bothered to figure out where he stands. I just hope Danielle doesn't win the veto and he does carry through with his plan to backdoor her. I'm afraid he might cave under all the pressure to nominate Janelle.

This would be a good opportunity for CT to get rid of Janelle, because they want to anyways. Well, they want to get rid of everyone who is not named Will or Mike. But they might save a Janelle eviction for later, depending on who they think can help them get the furthest.

Also, overthrowing the HOH would piss people off, no matter who the HOH is. As long as someone besides CT is getting evicted and CT can just sit back and watch other people make it happen, I don't know if they really even need to use the Coup.

I was up in the wee hours watching the live feeds (insomnia..yeah that's it!) and well...Danielle, Ericka and Boogie have convinced George to put Janie up in James' place. He's been convinced that it'll make him legendary. He even said "no one would have guessed that the weakest BB player took out the baddest ass BB player of all time"

This all occurred minutes after he promised Howie and Janelle they were safe.

I know TabbyLavaLamp is dancing now. But it's a sad day for me. If she goes I'll be cancelling my feeds and losing interest.

Apparently the veto ceremony will be today and the eviction will be tomorrow along with another HOH comp which will all air on Sunday. Anyone with the feeds should b e prepared for lots of flames this weekend due to all this consolidated activity.

Wow, was my last post totally wrong!

But anyway, George's choice does make a certain amount of sense if you think about the numbers involved. Howie has remained surprisingly calm, and I liked it when Janelle said, "You have to shut up."

One thing I'm wondering about is when all the others realize what an attractive choice George is for the final two, since he's losing votes right and left. That could very well result in some spectacular backstabbing.

Listening to them on the feeds afterwards was really funny. We know how these guys are: they make a choice, and then they go back and forth a zillion times and then... settle on their original choice. I don't remember past seasons being like that for every single eviction. I would be very, very surprised if Howie were not kicked out despite all the "Wait, maybe we should evict Erika" moments.

I've gotta say that finally this season has gotten interesting!

Who will Boogie nominate to replace Janelle? I think it depends on whether or not they're really hellbent on getting rid of James or not. If they are, then putting up George is risky, because Danielle would for sure vote to keep James and I'd be pretty surprised, even given everything, if Janelle voted to evict James.

With that in mind, it seems like to only way to truly guarantee James' exit would be to nominate Danielle, the only 100% for-sure vote to keep James.

Now, as for all the conspiracy theories... I just don't buy it. If they were "fixing" the show, I honestly don't think they'd have let the Coup d'État fizzle the way it did. I also totally disagree that the Chicken George POV weeks ago was selected with him in mind.

I think "fixing" the show would actually create a lot of extra work for the producers, and they've got their hands full as it is. Furthermore, if they really rigged it, they'd rig it for popular houseguests to win, and Maggie and Jun kinda belie that notion. Sure, I think they ask leading questions in the Diary Room, and lots of them, but I think that's about the extent of it.

Right, that became a big factor in BB6. Actually, it became practically the best reason to watch. James and the Nerd Herd's awesome breakdowns and tantrums when Janelle won every single America's Choice last year was some of the schadenfreudiest fun ever!

The popularity factor matters more or less depending on the player. I think it means a lot to those who are really trying to work the tiny modicum of D-list fame they can muster from Big Brother, so that means that Janelle popularity issues are most likely to affect... James! Like Kaysar, he seems convinced that he's heading for some kind of stardom.

I'm not sure it would make them realize that they're the reason for her popularity (if in fact they are the reason). It certainly didn't last season. The Nerd Herd girls bitched about Janelle until the end, while she was winning all the AC stuff, and they never stopped bitching. Whether or not her popularity was a direct result of their bitching, I can't say, but they never stopped.

This season, Janelle's was the first name Chenbot said when they were going into the house, supposedly the top vote-getter of the females. And last week she won the AC prom question, which was either prom king or queen, meaning she beat all of the HGs, not just the women. And yet Danielle, Erika and James continue to bitch about her.

I personally have not doubt that the rest of the HGs know exactly how popular Janelle was and is. They're going to complain about Janelle no matter what she does and no matter what she wins, and I don't think they'll ever stop complaining. At least we can stop listening to James whine about everything when he's voted off this week woo hoo!

No, nor do they get to see the broadcast shows. They only get to see whichever competitions included all the houseguests: HOH comps, Veto ceremonies, etc.

Sequester was started after BB3, when pretty much everybody agreed that Danielle fooled everybody in the house the best, but her diary room entries made everybody mad at her, thus causing her to lose. So beginning with BB4, they started sequestering the jury so that they'd be "untainted", and also so that they would remain uninhibited in the Diary Room.

The contrast has been pretty stark: James has been griping and complaining for three days, because... well, because Janie grabbed his dolly. George, meanwhile, just got nominated, isn't 100% safe, and yet has a fun afternoon with everybody. James could really learn some sportsmanship from him. George is helping himself stay in simply by being more fun to be around, and that strategy helped Will through several weeks on BB2.

This is a risky plan, though, and it's hardly foolproof. George could get evicted and then everybody would have to deal with a vengeful James. If it were a horror movie, you could title it The Lisp that Wouldn't Die.

I've been a Will fan since BB2, and I was thrilled he was chosen for All-Stars!

And even if you don't like his looks, or his attitude, or even his scheming, I can't think of a better player in that house. I think this each and every time I see the PoV. The very first PoV comp this year HG's used a big spinning wheel. Yes, can be rigged (see roulette wheels in Vegas) but at least it feels more honest. Probably the fact that we can at least SEE all the names and in the bag, like Chrissie noted, you can't tell for certain whose ball is even included.

This season has been so rigged in so many ways, it's been hard to keep up.

I am still enjoying it, though. Keep the good times coming... :thumbup:

Good point Chrissie - it IS odd that no one has pulled out a ball for someone who was Player's Choice.

I have to say I am not really impressed with the POV twist this year - having random people play for Veto isn't as cool as seeing who people choose when they have the chance to choose themself.

Ever since the first Survivor - I like any game that has people tip their hand by having to select people to play with (or to take out).

I don't have the feeds, but on SurvivorSucks they are talking about how Danielle is trying to swing the votes off James and onto CG. She may have convinced Erika. In anycase, the idea of getting Danielle to vote off James seems to be unravelling - Dani spent the day crying.

About the veto - I agree with Zoobabe. No one knows if they have to redo, and simply edit it to look smooth. I also don't think the choices are very skewed one way or the other - Janelle chose Danielle in the last veto comp, and she wasn't happy about that.
