Um, whats an RSS feed?

An RSS Feed by itself is uninteresting (check out one of TVGasms here (http://www.tvgasm.com/atom.xml)) but what I do is I consolidate the RSS feeds into my "news" reader (http://my.live.com) so that I can see all the headlines for my favorites sites (I have about 17 on my main page). This makes it so that I don't have to go visit each one individually to see if they have updated their content. Check it out, you will be much more efficient in your internet surfing this way :D

To add RSS content to my.live.com you go to add content, advanced options and then paste the feed URL into the "Subscribe to a specific feed by entering the URL below" box.

Flipit, looks like the feedburner and atom feeds are working properly now, just the RSS one is not working other than showing Hollywood Junket stuff back to a year or so ago.

thanks so much for pointing that out. i didn't catch it. i sent it to jake to work his magic! i like the atom feed the best because it shows pictures. for those of you who use gmail, you can also add your feeds to your google page. i like to have them come to my cell phone. so many options!!

^lol, gif!

trickydick, you are my new hero... stick around cuz we may need you again!! :p Seriously, I always wondered about RSS feeds but was too lazy to find out how they worked exactly. I always knew my laziness would be rewarded one day (although really, isn't laziness its own reward??).

It's my pleasure to help out where I can. In that spirit I would like to help out again and point out that they are done broked again. No updates since 1/28. JAKE, WHERE IS YOU!?

For those that are giving it a go, there are also things like offline readers that allow you to download the content and then read later at your leisure. I use an offline reader (or "aggregator") on my mobile phone. That way when I am somewhere with no connectivity (such as an airplane or even INDIA!) to read the feeds "live" I've got them in my pocket (among other things, hehe). I use SPB Insight on my windows mobile phone but there are others out there for other types of phones. If you have connectivity and a web browser you can just view them via live or google or whatever reader you choose.
