So lots of questions answered last night! Was anyone else surprised when Ben strangled Locke? Didn't see that coming! Especially after he spent so much time talking him out of suicide. Any thoughts on why he freaked out after he heard John knew about Eloise?

I was glad they confirmed that the losties got sucked back in time and the plane crashed in real time with a reborn Locke and Ben there. I don't know who ran off with the pilot, could it be the flight attendant or the woman with Sayid? not sure about that yet.

So who's really the good guy, Widmore or Ben? Last night was seeming like Widmore but I didn't like Abadon cause he was sketch, and this whole show we've been thinking that Widmore is not good for the island. At the same time though, Ben is clearly not a "good" guy either.

Also I'm glad it put some time frame on when John talks to everyone and when Jack starts booking flights to and from Australia. And I'm glad they put some clarity on how long its been since the Oceanic 6 left, 3 years then Locke leaves the island. Before I was under the impression that Locke was off the island for 3 years and then died and then they all decide to go back, I'm glad it was much quicker than that (in Locke time).

Overall I think this season is answering some good questions and moving along pretty nicely. Thoughts?

I felt like this was a very necessary episode but I didn't love it. I was kind of distracted the whole time so I don't think it was holding my interest very much. I actually started doing a crossword puzzle during some commercials and then didn't stop when the show came back on.

I too was shocked that Ben killed Locke. I was very disappointed. I keep hoping that Ben is a good guy but every time I think or hope he is something happens to make me question that. He certainly is complex.

I must totally have mommy/pregnancy brain right now because when Locke woke up in the Tunisian hospital I had no idea who the man with him was. Charles Widmore, duh! I honestly didn't even recognize him. What's wrong with me?!

Oh, and next week, the previews promise what we have all "been waiting for." And I'm like, "What is that?" I don't know what moment I have supposedly been waiting for.

Oh, and I don't like Cesar. I am nearly always hostile to new characters on Lost and this guy just bugs me. Who died and put him in charge, anyway?

I didn't recognize Widmore either. Did he lose weight?

I fell asleep half-way through the episode, woke up near the end, rewound, fell asleep again and rewound again so I could read posts and chat about it today.

I don't like Cesar either. How did they find the Darma station so quickly and why are only the sick people in there? If I was stranded on an island, I'd want to be inside a building instead of out on the sand.

Ben is evil.

I also don't like Caesar, I hope they explain why every seems so freakin calm too! And what station are they at anyway? Did anyone recognize it or the name of it anywhere?

More questions:

Are they on the second island?

Locke seems to think he HAS to die. Why?

Did Ben kill Locke because you can't commit suicide once you're off the island (a la Walt's dad)?

My interpretation is that I think Ben was talking Locke out of suicide because he thought Locke was his ticket back to the island. Once Locke revealed to Ben that Eloise could get him back on the island Ben had all the information he needed from Locke.

Plus - Locke is his challenger to the throne as King of the Others and so that has always rubbed Ben the wrong way - that and the fact that Jacob stopped talking to Ben in favor of Locke. Lotta leader/sibling-type rivalry going on there.

I don't know who ran off with the pilot, could it be the flight attendant or the woman with Sayid? not sure about that yet.

Wouldn't Sun be the woman that ran off with Lapidus? She is the only other Ajira Air/Oceanic Lostie that was not accounted for after last night.

I am loving this season - I am on the edge of my couch for every episode and TVGasmening over all the new a-has.

The moment I've been waiting for is for the Oceanic 6 to reunite with those who were left behind.

Are they on the second island?

I don't think they are on the second island - but I could be wrong - maybe that's why we don't recognize this Dharma station. I guess the two islands travel together through time since we didn't see either once they blipped off at the end of last season.

Locke seems to think he HAS to die. Why?

Because Richard said so - and Locke seems to follow blindly anything they tell him to do. Though I do think he was partly just broken spirited after his meeting with Kate and then seeing Helen's tombstone.

Plus - he has to fulfill his role as the dead body on the plane to pick up the slack for the missing Christian Shepard.

So if Locke is now alive - does that mean that Christian and Claire are also alive?

Do you have to be dead before you get to the island to be reborn on the island? Because we've had a ton of people die ON the island and none of them are wandering around.

Frank landed the plane on the Hydra Island where they kept Sawyer & Kate in the bear cages & Jack did the surgery on Ben. That is where the submarine was.

Sun has to be in the past with the others of Oceanic 6. Cesar said they disappeared. I don't know who Frank took with him.

I think the "moment we've all been waiting for" is Sawyer & Kate reunited.

If the storyline is following the bible & Christ's resurrection, he was crucified to save everyone. Ben crucified Locke instead of letting him kill himself. Remember, Ben always has a plan. I love him!

Who do I believe? Daniel. We get our answers from Ms. Hawkings, Widmore, Ben, & Daniel and I think Daniel is the only one who's trying to figure things out for science, not power.

Ms. Hawkings & Widmore were probably kicked off the island at the same time by Ben.

Charles Widmore said to Ben once that "Everything you have, you took from me." Does that mean Widmore is telling the truth?

They are definitely on the other island, since Locke was staring at the big island when he was standing in the ocean.

I'm thinking Frank is with the stewardess, since the chick talking with Caesar is the woman who was with Sayid (I'm pretty sure, but didn't rewatch to confirm yet), and they didn't highlight any other women on the plane except those two. I expect that Frank took the boat to go to the main island and find the other people.

Sun and Sayid are probably with Kate, Jack, and Hurley but since we've only had about 2 mins of them back on the island we just haven't seen it yet. It wouldn't make sense for Sun and Sayid to NOT be with them in the past.

Anybody remember a few weeks ago when somebody found the bottle of water on the beach and Juliet said it was from Ajira Airlines??

I do, Julie! So when Ms. Hawking said the flight to take them through the "window" to the island was Ajira Airlines, I wasn't surprised to hear that.

Yea but no one was at the camp. Where do they all go? Plus if they came across it wouldn't that mean that these new plane people are on the main island? Or were the boats that the losties came across rowed over from the smaller island to the main one by the new folks? Man I wish I didn't delete that episode from my TiVo or I'd go back to get a better look at everything!

Damn- good catch, Julie. I didn't even notice that!

I'm with kris-- where did they all go?

I thought that was just neato that they at some point while they were bouncing around in the time machine...had been three years in the future shortly after the Ajira plane crashed.

Also, seeing that Jin was in a snazzy Dharma van and pretty well cleaned up, have the Oceanic 6 landed in the past or the few days since the freighter blew up???
