so i wasnt really liking the sawyer & juliette lovefest last night at first BUT then i started thinking about it and i hope it really pisses kate off. i hope he stays with juliette and kate can be all pissed about it. and i hope we get a lot of shirtless action - from sawyer (not kate)!
so is locke in the 70s with everyone else or is he in the present? i'm confused about that part.
i think its interesting that when the oceanic 6 got off the island it was 3 years for them and only days for the islanders. now its been 3 years for the islanders and only a few days for the O6.... i doubt they'll ever explain this though.
and i liked sawyer's interaction with richard. "some old bald guy came into your camp feeding you bs" - haaaa!

Locke is in the present with the newest plane crash people. Everyone else went back to the 70s with Sawyer's crew.
I really liked this episode! I'm interested to see a little more about their time with Dharma, but I'm afraid they will just stick with the "current" time with the whole reunion.
I really wish Sawyer would cut his hair, I don't mind the super messy dirty long hair but for some reason the clean long hair looked gross to me... maybe he should ponytail it or something.

I just want them to get out of that Dharma camp. Don't they remember how it ended for the Dharma Initiative? I'd be outta there as fast as my feet could carry me.

At the same time though... they are about 20 years before all the bad stuff happens to the dharma people (Ben doesn't kill everyone until the 90s). I'm wondering if they will be there when Ben and Roger come to the island though, that would be interesting. Would they try to kill Ben as a child?

Forgot to mention this... when we come back to Faraday sitting over the place where Charlotte's body once was he's mumbling about how he won't say it and he won't tell her. I believe he means that he won't tell young charlotte not to come back to the island or she will die. Will this change anything? According to Faraday what happened, happened so he can't not tell her not to come back. ooo confusing!
Also... ew.com has some very interesting theories about parallels between all the seasons of lost, I don't know if I agree with where it's going but I like the theory none the less. Check it out. http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,1550612_20245769_20263098_2,00.html

I read the EW article earlier today. Interesting thought on the Egyptian aspect....

I am such a dork, I thought the guys at the beginning were arguing about whether or not to wake "the floor." I thought that was Dharma shorthand for "the powers that be." Duh! :p
This episode was better than last week's, but still not my favorite. I feel like I am waiting for something to happen but not getting what I want.
What is the truce and why do bodies have to be buried or taken away? I wonder if Amy and Horace's (or Horus?) baby is someone we know?

If I'm not mistaken, Horace helped Ben's dad when his wife was giving birth to Ben on the side of the road in Portland Oregon. I think that was in 1966. Maybe? I do know that Alex was around four years old when the gassing occurred. Danielle was on the island for 18yrs..... so the gassing was 14 years ago. Right? Which would make it 1990. arghhh! ...and last night's episode was in 1974-1977?
Oh & Lonna... that girl wanted the bodies buried so the "hostiles" (Others) wouldn't find them & know the truce was broken. The hostiles killed Paul because they were outside the perimeter, thus breaking the truce. How the hell did they bury 2 bodies so quikly with no shovels? It took over an hour for my kid to bury our dog and he had a shovel.
I loved the story telling of this episode. It was a nice break from all the theory chasing of the last few weeks. I love Juliet with James. Fuck Kate!

That makes sense, but why did they have to give Paul's body to the Others?

Yep I'm confused...no shock there.
Waves at Lonna...why do they need Paul's body? Lonna sweetie, when you figure that one out, call me.

Proof that the guy who broke the truce was dead?

I don't get why they'd want Paul's body either. But Richard believed that Sawyer killed the hostiles. Maybe he wanted to take it back and show that his people killed someone and those hostiles are now dead, to set an example maybe?

This is my theory - which could be wrong:
Once Richard talked to Sawyer and realized that the Dharma folks didn't kill his guys he knew if he went back empty handed his people wouldn't be happy. But if he goes back proudly displaying a Dead Dharmite then he can say they were even again and the truce could be reinstated.
I think the fact that our Left Behinders were living peacefully in the DI was as a result of Sawyer's ability to prove to Dharma Dude that he was able to keep the truce in tact.
PLUS - they are living their happy little lives without fear of repercussions from the Others because Paul's body did, in fact, keep the truce.
Did I say Dharma too much? Did I say truce too much? Am I making any sense at all?
