It was time for Zayra to go. Patrice will probably be in the bottom 3 again unless she really steps up. I don't think Magni will be in the hot seat...he has an entire country voting him plus many fans in the US. Bottom 3 virginity? LOL! And I hope the dancing girls stay home.

Patrice has one of the original songs tonight. Ryan has the other. Hopefully Ryan's will rock out and I could care less about what Patrice does. I wouldn't put a lot of faith in Magni's countrymen. Clearly they let him down last week. Seems to me that Toby is the one who's getting a lot of support from his country. He started in the early bottom three last week but got enough votes to keep him out. I think along with Patrice, Storm has the potential to land in the bottom three this week with Lucas. We'll see.

Do you think it will last? i will say that her outfit last week was so "lets put together a rock chick looking outfit for her", but considering she's popped out two kids, she has a great figure!

Wow - I was amazed by Ryan's performance and just loved his song.

And I am really and truly over Storm. I am having a hard time remembering what it was about her in the first weeks that had me thinking she was a contender.

:rockon: I really liked Ryan's original song. Everyone else was just O.K., except for Lukas, I thought he was awful. I just don't see what the guys in the band like about him.

Oh, and hated Dilana's outfit tonight, especially those drag queen eyelashes. I realized tonight that she dressed just as badly as Zayra did, but in a different style. I think no one comments on it because Dilana can actually sing.

I think Storm did a fine job last night. Good enough for her not to end up in the bottom three. Patrice? Whatevs. She's gone this week or the next. Lucas didn't do well at all and The Dave called him out again on turning his back to the crowd, although I thought it was funny to see him check his hair in the guitar reflection. Ryan's original song wasn't too bad. The music was great, the lyrics okay, but more importantly they were cheesy enough for Supernova to really like. It beats their original first from last week. It seemed like Dilana held back, didn't it?

Looks like our poll results are scattered across the spectrum (as of Wednesday morning).

I thought Ryan's performance was great, but I didn't like the tossing of the guitar just after Supernova made the comment about trashing the stage. Seemed fake to me. I think Ryan belongs more with a lyrically serious-type band like Third Eye Blind. I just can't see him singing about getting wasted and banging a bunch of chicks, which I have a feeling will be the ultimate direction of Supernova's songs.

I thought Patrice actually did great - just not at all in Supernova's style. For once I agreed with Supernova's feedback.

Lukas tried too hard and it showed. I think he is digging himself into a hole.

Magni did fine for a iconic song like "Smells Like Teen Spirit". He actually sang it like it should be sung. I think he improved his standing.

Storm did better than usual, and wins my weekly Zayra Sexy Outfit award for the corset. Toby was alright, but I didn't like the shirt removal. Dilana's performance was weak, and I hated the eyelashes, too. She was trying her best to sing softly, and I think she struggled with it. I think she slipped this week. Dilana recently pissed off a lot of the others, most of all Lukas. She talked a lot of shit this week with the "media visits". Check out the webisodes, you'll see what I'm talking about. She cocky in the way Lukas was at the start and I think he's definitely threatened by her talent.

yes- they did finally call her out on this tonight, which I was hoping they would. I didn't even vote for her last night b/c that pissed me off. I did vote for Magni and Ryan though. Patrice's song was really good, but also not for this band (although she did sing in English!). What bothered me the most last night was the over the top horndog comments from Dave and Tommy to Storm about her outfit and "coming to their houses for song selection". I thought it was sexist and disrepectful. Plus- tommy must not have realized that what his pool at home is most famous for is a little kid drowning in it. it just ooked me out.:thumbdown:

They aren't doing encores anymore - now each week they are picking one person to sing a new Supernova sing. Last week it was Dilana - that song didn't impress me.

I don't know if it was her intention or not, but Dilana effectively stole Ryan's thunder after his original song performance. On the elimination show, instead of The Dave talking about Ryan's performance, or any performance, they spent the whole "chat" time on Dilana. Dilana dissing Ryan, Dilana dissing Lukas, etc. I wonder if she is a person who needs to have attention on her at all times, even if it is negative attention.

And her whole thing about Ryan being nothing without the house band was crap. His song was a good rock song. Compared to the song she wrote for Supernova, it was a masterpiece. Why would any woman write a song with the word "thong" in it?

Tommy had a b-day party for one of his sons and a little boy in attendance drowned. It was a horrible incident - the parents even tried to sue Tommy. I'm glad they lost. They should have owned their responsibility in it - it wasn't Tommy's fault. They sent their sun to the party w/his nanny and, apparently, she didn't so a very good job watching him. I'm sure he knows...it's been years, though, and I'm sure he's trying not to dwell on such a tragedy. I mean, it's not as if he joked about the incident. Believe me, when he mentioned his pool, I thought about that little boy as well. But I didn't find what he said in poor taste at all. Should he never use his pool again because of it (although, I must admit, I mostt likely would have moved - and, who knows, perhaps he has).

Looks like zoobabe nailed it. There must be one more double elimination this season to get us to the finale featuring three performers. This is from cbs.com (from last year):
