I felt this was a good loaded episode! There were lots of little comments made to get the theory juices flowing again!

I LOVED the Sawyer/Jack part at the end. It really established Sawyer's role as the new leader. I imagine Jack won't be okay with it, purely based off his personality and his unwillingness to have Locke be a leader instead of him. I hope Sawyer and Juliette stay together, I really like them better. I'm so over Kate and her drama!

So what happened to Faraday? Does he leave the island or is he dead?

I was surprised that the baby was Ethan and that clearly freaked Juliette out. (I just happened to watch a rerun of the episode when she is recruited by the Others. Ethan and Richard are the ones to do it).

As soon as you saw the young boy go in to see Sayid I knew it was Ben! I wonder if they'll show an episode about him and his dad coming to the island with Sawyer and the crew there. Bet that was interesting. It seems from the previews that Sayid is going to take on the task of killing Ben, but doesn't he think the other people would have tried that already?

I'm VERY curious to see how Sun and Frank are supposed to get everyone else out of the 70s, if that is Christian's plan for them. But why didn't Sun go back in time with everyone else? They better have a good explanation for that one!

OK, I know I keep saying this, but it is really really bugging me that Ben saw these people in his childhood and obviously would remember them, but this has never come up. At least Juliet- who he grows up to have a crush on and make pasta for and KILL PEOPLE for for the love of God- he should have remembered, no? I find this highly irritating, especially since the writers have consistently done a great job of threading the otherwise implausible storylines together and making sure we have great payoffs for just about everything (eventually).

I am also curious to see what happens with poor Sun. Did she not jump because she was pregnant when she left, and she came back to the island alone? Also- Christian :w00t:!! I was surprised to see him show himself to Sun and La Penis.

Who's to say that Ben wasn't the one to orchestrate it all. He knows. How do we know that maybe he made sure that airstrip was built because he knew that Frank had to have a place to land in the future. Remember, Ben always has a plan!

....after thinking awhile, Ben can't know everything or he would have known that Alex would be killed. Then I think that he only knows things up until the plane crash. After that it all is new to him.

I am wondering if Christian/Jacob and the Smoke Monster are the same thing, or closely related. We saw the trees move in a very Smoky-way when Sun and Frank were approaching the Dharma barracks and while they were inside, a door slowly opened and showed blowing trees and billowy darkness outside. Hmmm.

I agree with that Julie. I remember that Mr. Eko saw his dead brother just before the smoke monster bashed him against the tree & killed him. I think they are definitely connected. Ben also saw his dead mom before seeing smokey too.

I think I remember hearing the smoke monster clicky noise (the one it makes when it's cruisin through the trees) when the trees were moving when Sun and Frank got to the houses. There was a bit of glare on my tv so I don't know if there were any specific smokey shapes but I heard the noise.

I don't remember Ben going to the Temple and coming out covered in ash after Alex died... maybe I'll have to rewatch it.

That is a nice recap of all the monster's scenes and appearances. I hope that is one question that are sure to answer before the end of the series or there will be MANY upset fans!

i just need them to explain why sun & ben arent with everyone else? how is the possible? why did it happen? do they have to go back 30 years or do they have to get everyone else to jump ahead 30 years? when are they going to kill off the other stupid people from the new plane?

and i cant wait for sayid's bad-ass-ness next week! yay!

wow. i definitely win the dork-alert button this week. i actually looked that dude up on IMDB to see who he was on saved by the bell. loved the recap. thanks for the laughs!
