Yay!!! finally.

I'm curious to see how different the show will be the next season. The move to Lifetime concerns me : peering over my glasses like Tim Gunn at some monstrous outfit:

Yeah - I love Project Runway - but like Angie I wonder about the changes that will be made. Will they have to totally revamp the format because of the new owner? I hope not - I like it the way it is.

Get this thing on the air. I'm crazier than normal waiting for this.

I can't find a definite airdate for the show. Lifetime just says that it will air this summer. The 6th season wrapped up on Feb. 20th during Fashion Week. As soon as I know, you'll know.

did anyone else see that the same day Project Runway was cleared for Lifetime, Bravo announced it's newest show... The Fashion Show!

The Fashion Show premieres on Bravo on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Fifteen professional designers will compete in this fashion creative competition series for a chance to have their designs sold in the retail market and win a $125,000 prize.

They couldn't even wait a day to say "hey lifetime... you're NO Bravo!"

From ew.com:

Project Runway will -- finally! -- return on Aug. 20 at 10 p.m. on the Lifetime Network, marking its eagerly awaited comeback after months of messy legal wrangling over which network had the rights to air the sixth season of the show. The catwalk reality series will bring back Teutonic hostess Heidi Klum, "make-it-work" mentor Tim Gunn, and judges Michael Kors and Nina Garcia, and feature 16 new contestants vying to make it all the way to Fashion Week. Lifetime also announced that it would unveil a new companion series titled Models of the Runway, which will air directly after Project Runway at 11p.m. The 30-minute show will give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the Project Runway competition from the vantage point of the models.

YAY Clair! You found out when it comes back! I like the "model" show afterwards. We never get to see what they go thru & they win too.

Love the word 'teutonic' for Heidi Klum.

I'm happy it's coming back, but August is so far away! I think they should bump it up to June.

Woo hoo!!! So happy this show is finally coming back - it's been WAY too long! Kinda sucks we have to wait until August....okay, so it really sucks but I'm really excited about the model show too! :)

Is anyone else going to be watching The Fashion Show on Bravo (the PR replacement show)?

I'll probably watch it since I'm a sucker for shows like that but part of me wants to boycott since Bravo sucks so much and has kept my PR off the air for WAY too long!!
Apparently MTV also has a new PR rip-off show starting too...and I might just watch that one!

It would've been so much better in Bravo. Oh well. SO EXCITED!
Can't believe it's going to be in L.A. now. I'm sure it'll be
awesome. They'll make it work. ;) I love L.A.

I'm really excited about all the guest judges too.
