Amazing Race 5/3: The million dollar potty break

Just how long was she in that Port-A-Potty? I'm sure she wasn't in there too long, they probably had a hard time locating Phil. Such a shame because Jen and Kisha completed the second half of their U-turn so quickly.

Did Cara slam those fried foods or what? She could have been a contestant on Fear Factor. Jamie was her usual (not) charming self. Wouldn't it be ironic if the first two woman team to win would have her on it?

It might be ironic - but it would have me screaming at the TV in unhealthy decibals. I loved that even Cara was getting sick of Jamie last night - rolling her eyes at the camera and what not.

I don't know that the potty break actually cost the girls a million. I don't think they had the cleverness to actually win the show. Right now I think it's a two team race between Margie/Luke and Tammy/Victor.

I am surprising myself by admitting this - but after my Romanian loathing of Victor, I am actually warming up to T/V again and wouldn't be sad if they won.

What did you think of Margie getting so sick of Luke? Does anyone else find it odd how often she talks to him rather than signing? She seems to do that a lot.

At first I was so irritated with Jen for having to use the bathroom and thought well they deserve to be elminated. After I thought about it, though, they didn't seem that close to Jaime & Cara because when Phil was checking them in we would have seen Jen & Keisha waiting in the background. I mean going to the bathroom probably didn't help but I don't think it necessarily cost them the chance to be in the top 3. Also, when you have to go to the bathroom that badly you can barely walk, let alone run. I know I said at one point i'd pee my pants before I lost the chance to win a million.

Also, why is it so hard for Victor keep his mouth shut?!?!?! He would not let Tammy give the order at the restraunt and she was clearly saying it better, he would be quiet for one order and then start repeating with her. Either way I want them to win!

GAH!! I would commit bloody fucking murder if my race partner stopped for a wee before checking in! That bitch would have just had to pee on herself. Period.

And yes, I would totally pee on myself with no shame at all if we were thatclose to winning a million bucks-- especially after already having overcome a serious time deficit at check in and a difficult U-Turn. I'm flabbergasted that she would even consider stopping.

Tink- I agree that right now Tammy and Victor have somehow become the lesser of 3 evils. I can't believe that Luke and the cheerleaders turned out to be such major assholes that they actually have me rooting for Victor!!

Sorry for all the cursing, but I'm still aghast at Jen weeing instead of winning. Idiot.

I would pee my pants with absolutely no shame if it put me in the running for a million. I was sad because they did such a good job of making up time after starting out behind and being U-turned. Would've been a great comeback.

And I agree - it would not only have been a great comeback - but it would have been awesome to see Jamie flip her wig over losing.

And let's face it - is peeing on yourself really going to be THAT embarassing after some of the other things they've had to do?

O.K. I know I'm blond but how the heck did J/K catch up to the other teams when they were so far behind? I really think a clock/timer is totaly called for. I don't like it when my reality shows edit time to make it more of a close race. K/J really screwed up stopping to potty, and you can bet that story will come out at every drunken Christmas/Family party that Family ever has, from now till the end of time. yes even their childrens children will be telling the tale of (insert echo here)"THE MILLION DOLLAR POTTY"

I thought the same thing, but they must not have been as far behind as they seemed. I also wondered how the hell Tammy and Victor made it to the bikes first, when they checked in 3rd!

Plus, Jaime and Cara said at one point that they had been wandering around for 3 hours looking for the U-turn. I thought they were exaggerating, but they obviously wandered long enough for the sisters to complete their U-Turn and arrive at the roadblock with time to spare. If Jen wasn't such a punk they would have handily beat the cheerleaders.

Oh well, I'm still hoping for a 3rd place finish for the cheerleaders since that means they will win... NOTHING! Yay! Also, next week looks good, since the cheerleaders finally get to communicate in English, which means they'll be able to understand when people tell them how awful they are. :thumbup:

If you were wandering around lost with two other teams and then first one and then the other team wandered back to the Opera house - never to be seen again - doncha think at some point (some point earlier than the 3 hour mark) you'd think "Hey maybe the clue IS at the Opera House?"

here4beer, you crack me up! My sentiments exactly. The cheerleaders have to go. I can't wait to see how they yell at a cab driver who speaks English.
Sad to see Kisha and Jen go the way they did, but honestly, not sure how they made it this far.
