I watched it until she slept with the DEA agent- too far-fetched, I thought. I started to watch the beginning of this season (the first episode only).. I just couldn't get into it. Maybe I'll just catch up on them this afternoon.

I love this show!! It cracks me up - especially Andy, he gets some of the best lines.

I read a review in EW that put it pretty well - you have to suspend reality a lot to watch and ignore the fact that she could just easily open up a Cold Stone Creamery franchise and save herself a lot of headaches.

Also, I'd start a thread, but I don't know the name of the show, but last night after The Tudor's they showed an ad for a show with David Douchoveny (I'm not looking up his last name, so sorry if it's wrong) where he plays a struggling writer. I've never seen Dexter, but heard good things. Did you ever watch Rome? I think you'll love that....it's one of the best series ever.

I've never seen Rome, but I've heard it's great. The next time I can catch it on iDemand I'll try to record it. I have a hard time keeping up with the cable series because I get really entrenched. First I loved Huff, then the second season lost me, I replaced it with Big Love - and I still can't wait for season 2. Weeds really held my interest, it's such a great show and I love the entire cast pretty much.

Dexter is awesome, it's so awful (subject matter) it's funny. The guy who plays Dexter is a sociopathic serial killer, who works as a blood spatter expert in the CSI unit of the Miami PD. BUT he has a moral code about his victims and only kills other serial killers, his sister plays another ambitious cop, so he's always planning his next kill while dogging his Nancy Drew sis. It's really funny! Oh yeah, the actor plays his entire role completely deadpan ALL the time. Even sex scenes. He's always slightly bewildered, yet lethal. LOL!

I know! Stupid jerks who didn't renew that series! I also love Reggie...she is a really great child actor, I would love to see her in more stuff. And I loved Delores Herbig. She rocked! I also feel like they left so many unanswered questions. There was definitely a back story involving Rube and the money that was in that dead letter. I really wanted to know more and see more.

The best part of that show though was the way that George said "Fuck"...no one else quite does it like her, in my opinion.

Zooey Deschanel is great as Cat...she fits in perfectly with the cast. And yes, Silus is a total fuck up. Maybe Celia will let him service her and that will get him out of the major shit he's in as last we saw him. In the supermarket they were buying candy for his dead brother's birthday party and it was pretty awesome. But Andy's shining moment was when he taught Shane how to masturbate. And then when he took him for a happy ending.

I love this show too and cannot wait for it to return. Everything hit the fan in that last episode and I am looking forward to some resolution!

Oooh I COMPLETELY forgot Mary Kate was going to be in this season... She's going to be a Silus love interest, right? Other than that, I don't know what kind of a role she will play.

I want to say that Haylia hired the Armenians? I'm glad they killed Mr. DEA, too. He got REALLY creepy, REALLY fast... it felt a little bit like a cop out to me-- but shocking, and I'm all for that.

I'm glad they changed Andy's character b/c back in season 1, I could not STAND him... now he's actually one of my favorite characters.... I love them all actually, the only one I can't stand is Celia. Haylia is a bitch... and I'm glad they dropped the storyline with her and the Muslim pastor or whatever he was... that storyline did nothing for me.

And I agree that Cat and Abumchuck were a riot. I can't wait for tonights episode!

Especially since they are half-Jewish.

Yeah...they need to tie the reins in a little this season. A lot of it has been a little too out there and wacky. Drive-bys, missles hitting over-enthusiastic army recruits in the chest, psychotic military officials brushing mistakes under the table, brick dances...they need to go back to focusing more on the core characters and their interactions than throwing wrench after wrench into their spokes.

I am glad Andy's back...Nancy Pants needs him.

Sis, I was really happy with last night's episode. I felt like it was more like the Weeds I have loved the last two seasons. Glad Uncle Andy's back and living at home, and I'm glad Celia and Nancy are talking again, because as much as I hate her, it's a great relationship they have.

It was totally weird to see MKO on the show last night. My friend and I were like, "That's Michelle Tanner!" "We saw her in diapers!" But I do think she was good and she'll be a great addition.

As far as U-Turn dying, at first I thought he was faking them out, trying to see who was more loyal, Nancy or Marvin. But then, I was like, "HOLY SHIT HE'S DEAD OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSH!" It's sort of the easy way out, but then again, nothing's ever easy. Who knows what Marvin's got up his sleeve. And Nancy still has all that heroin in her storage room.

Last night's show felt even more like the Weeds I love. Shane was his old, loveable self (LOVED the question to the teacher about government funding to their Christian program!), loved to see Isabelle back to her lesbian ways with the girl who wants to save everyone, loved Andy cooking on a porn set (who doesn't think he's going to be filling in for Lexington Steele?!?), and loved that Silus has a new sleepover girlfriend (MKO is fitting in well, in my opinion).

What I DON'T understand is why Nancy would sleep with Sullivan, although it did make for quite the sexy scene.

Looks like Detective Wonder Bread washed up with the rain.

Well, I think it's obvious what I loved about this episode. I almost didn't recognize Lex Steele, looking at his face and all.

I think she banged the guy because the Mexican dude got her all horny, plus she really was happy that she was off the hook. She didn't really have anyone else to go too.

Okay, this season is turning around for me, because this episode was great. I am glad they finally have the main characters interacting with each other more, and acting more like themselves. And could this episode have had any more boobs, muff, or penis? WOW! Brave Elizabeth Perkins, but she looks hot!!!

The best scene, hands down, was Doug in Nancy's kitchen, and that whole schpiel about, "I'm filling in for Andy, he's on set. The young one's outside with Celia's dike and the older one went out with a little blonde girl, small tits, cross around her neck." (or something like that). His comedic timing is impeccable. I thought this episode was great too - I also loved the interactiuon between Doug and Nancy in her kitchen. Andy has the foot, lol - and what a speach he gave about porn! I am really liking the friendship between Shane and Isabelle, my heart broke a little when he said his dad loved him more, awww. I feel bad for Nancy being stuck in the momogram machine while the lady asks for answers - thats gotta hurt!

I really liked Andy's character in S1 and 2, but he's slowly becoming my least favorite. Give him a more interesting storyline, please. Andy as porn caterer turned toe-fucker? Who cares.

Can I just say how much I HATE that I don't have Showtime? And if I wasn't broke, that's the first thing I'd get? I watched seasons 1 and 2 of Weeds, season 1 of Dexter, and got totally hooked on them both and now... NOTHING. It's very frustrating knowing that there are new episodes of two of my fave shows out there and I can't see them!!! :crying:

Last night's episode made me think "OK, it's back on track" for some reason. I just really loved it. So many funny parts, the promise of more Conrad (yay!), Brooke Smith is awesome, Celia and Isabelle interaction, Doug's shit dance, it was great. Would like to see more Shane and Isabelle interaction. Some of s3 has been hit-or-miss for me, but this ep felt so much like s1 and early s2.

I just watched this past mondays episode and I liked it! I like that Conrad wanted Nancy to know that he said hello. I liked that Doug was possibly going to go to jail - I just wish Nancy would have let him go to jail. I also think that scene with Nancy and Sullivan at the end is really going to get Nancy in trouble.

My favorite part was with Conrad and Silus when he was like, "how do you 'forget' you have thousands of dollars in your bag?" and then he was afraid that Silus would forget to tell Nancy he said hello. We were all swooning at that. I think they are leading up to the Conrad/Nancy sex we are all begging for!!

Last night was the BEST episode thust far of the whole season, back to the Weeds I have come to love!

Here's what rocked:

Heylia and Celia hitting it off, because they're both a couple of crusty bitches who kick ass when they want to.

Andy being his horny, funny self.

Nancy and Conrad being too adorable together for me to stand it. (I need more Conrad ass, though).

Celia breaking all of "Dumb Name's" stuff.

Shane breaking my heart by talking to his dad endlessly about Pittsburgh.

Only 3 more eps in the season, they need to keep this momentum going.

I finally got to watch the last two eps on Satuday (my sis tivo's them for me) and I was really bummed that the season is over already. I couldn't believe it when Conrad started asking Nancy about her ability to cook a turkey. Like, are you seriously going to end it over THANKSGIVING??? They better not be done, they are way too cute together.
I cracked up when the DEA guys saw the cross on their map. :)
The whole torching the house thing... I'm not sure how I feel about that yet. I'm curious to see what they do next season. At the end of the episode, it felt more like a series finale than a season finale, didn't it?? But yes, I know there's another season coming up. :thumbup: Can't wait - LOVE this show!

Wow! Over already?! I'm a loyal viewer but I can never seem to catch the show in its regular time slot. Must be the weed.....Season 2 DVD's didn't come out until the end of the summer so of course I grabbed a set and did my usual weed o vision marathon recently and now will impatiently await the arrival of season 3.

Even more random....Funny how Cable shows have short seasons like 8 episodes while I needed a u haul to lug home twentysomething shows. Gotta block out a week to catch up with those!

I will definitely still give it a chance. Its easily one of my favorite shows. Totally smart and entertaining and really GREAT characters... But I will miss Helia .. She was hilarious
