Wow. Wht can I say. We had an incredible time. THe people at BAWLS were so cool and hooked us up something fierce. Backstage passes, we got to wait in the "holding pen" before beng brought out to the show. We sat 5 rows behind ors and Heidi. And tonight they are hooking us up to the guest list to some celebrity bar.

I'll try not to spoil it so if you want my quick impression just scroll down. In teh meantime here are sme pictures to tide you over until i get a proper post ready...

The woman does not take a bad photograpgh. She was more beautiful in person. It was like she was an alien from planet Hotchickistan. At one point I almost bumped into her on the way out. Sadly she was swarmed by press so I didnt get to meet her. But i stood net to her and gazed at her wondering what the hell she sees in Seal when she had this Grade a T-bone steak standing right there.

Uli's rocked. she was by far the best. Totally different stuff from her. Micahels amazingly was really disappointing. Kitschy Pam Grier stuff with big belts. Luara had a whole flapper 20's thing going, it was good not great. Same with JEffrey. If Uli is the decoy I will be crushed.

thx for the gossip, Edhill, I cannot wait to read your post! I'm so jealous, glad you had so much fun---have fun at the party 2nite! Oh & glad u got to meet ur (2nd) fave redhead, she's a cutie!

Surprised to hear abt the runway breakdown! especially Michael's. I hope Jeff the InkNecked Giraffe is the mofo decoy, bastard. i hate ths P.O.S! Oh, but i digress, so glad we have a 'Gasm insider!

Dude, it's a good thing you broke up with me , because that undershirt sticking out is retahded! Why oh why didn't I go with you? Even after I picked out the clothes I should have known you couldn't get dressed without my assistance. C'est la vie. Give Emmett my numbah.

(This is my immediate reaction, I may ponder later and change my mind. Kinda how I did with "Gladiator"?) I still loathe Jeffrey. I haven't liked any of his designs yet.

thx, LQ, i really wanted to see the designs at leisure so this was a gem. I have to agree w/ most of EdHill's assessment of what he thot of the shows. Michael's show seemed most disappointing, not as great as I wouldve hoped. Laura's seemed good, some really pretty ones in there, but not all the pieces were standouts. Glad to see they weren't all her signature style. Liked some of Uli's as well, some stuff in there I could & would wear. I loath Jeffrey too, as a human being & as a designer. Didn't care for most of his collection, but I did see one piece, a silver thing, that I thot was OK. the red polka-dot dress w/ the red fabric in front? It would have looked wearable w/o the odd & random arm sling thrown in front of it.

BEST.PRIZE.EVER. I want to wait for EdHill's recap so I don't spoil anything but the day far exceeded my expectations. EdHill is right about Heidi, she is so beautiful in person she doesn't look real.
